# Evidence Map
Full-vault sweep, 2026-07-20: three parallel searches (Readwise corpus; non-Readwise vault; theology-wiki inventory) across ~45 NAR-related terms plus variants. Genuine-match totals: ~214 Readwise highlight notes (+ ~73 unique full-text bodies), ~80 non-Readwise files, ~200 theology-wiki pages. Below: the load-bearing sources by evidence tier, with attribution verified from file metadata (never assumed from vault ownership).

## Tier 4 — Commentary (discernment media, podcasts, YouTube)
Largest bloc (~150+ files): Mike Winger, The Remnant Radio (Joshua Lewis), Leaving the Message / WBHR (John Collins), Charismania episode series (389–659), Holly Pivec's podcast, "NAR the Series" (11 episodes), Jed Hartley, Minor Prophets Podcast. **Added September 2026:** WBHR Ep. 699, [[3. Resources/Readwise/Articles/What Is the New Apostolic Reformation The History Behind the NAR Revival Exposed 699\|"What Is the New Apostolic Reformation? The History Behind the NAR"]] ([watch](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u1B48isiufw)) — a *historical* rather than doctrinal account tracing three streams (Dowie's restoration/healing, Latter Rain incl. Branham, charismatic networks via Wimber/Wagner/Bickle); and WBHR Ep. 696, [[3. Resources/Readwise/Articles/How Religious Leaders Make Themselves Untouchable John McKinnon Podcast Episode 696\|"How Religious Leaders Make Themselves Untouchable"]] ([watch](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_9YzcxFozE)) — built on a single primary document, Branham's 30 June 1958 letter to C. Parker Thomas. **Treated as weakest tier throughout** — used for leads and pattern-corroboration, flagged `source-caution` in wiki source notes. Note the metadata trap: YouTube-sourced Readwise notes carry `author: YouTube`; real channel recovered from title/URL.
## Tier 5 — Courtney's own research and analysis
Verified by frontmatter (`author: Courtney R.`) or provenance:
- [[1. Projects/Religious Research/World Harvest Outreach|World Harvest Outreach report]] (Nov 2025, ~7,900 words) — local hard-pole audit + NAR primer.
- [[1. Projects/Religious Research/DOVE International and Overflow Community Church|DOVE/Overflow audit]] (2026-07-19) — soft-pole network audit.
- [[3. Resources/Literature Notes/Worship as Manipulation in the NAR and a Framework for Liberation|When the Music Is the Message]] — worship research report (author: Courtney R.).
- WHO sermon corpus analysis — 663 sermons, 13,327 coded fallacy instances → [[NAR Fallacy Taxonomy]].
- ~40 Permanent Notes + ~18 Literature Notes (see [[NAR and Charismatic Authority Critique MOC]]).
- "Translocal networking, local isolation" field formulation (now scholarly-grounded in the concept page).
## Attribution corrections & traps (verified during this project)
- Readwise YouTube/podcast notes: `author:` = platform, not creator. Always recover the speaker from title/URL/`show_author`.
- Kindle-highlight notes: attribute to the **book's author** (e.g., *The Removal of Restraint* → Sam Soleyn), never the vault owner.
- The Welton video notes are Courtney's paraphrase of the Speak Up podcast (John Mark, Ron Caner) — three layers: video host ≠ note author ≠ survivors quoted.
- `Prince of Peace Spoken Word.md` is by Courtney Robertson (vault owner as author — the exception, verified in frontmatter).
- Do not confuse DOVE International (Lancaster, PA) with Dove World Outreach Center (Terry Jones, FL) — flagged in the DOVE dossier.
## Where sources disagree (carried into the page)
1. **Does the NAR exist as a coherent thing?** Wagner/insiders: yes, gladly (1990s); many current leaders: no, critics' label; Pivec/Geivett & Taylor: yes, as networks and shared theology. Page resolves by describing structures, not litigating the label.
2. **Prophecy and psychic-adjacent practice:** demonic-power reading (some discernment critics) vs. cold-reading/naturalistic reading (Pivec's magician interview). Page avoids adjudicating; treats directive prophecy as a governance problem either way.
3. **Continuationism vs. cessationism:** Remnant Radio (continuationist insiders) critique Bethel while defending the gifts; G3/Aniol condemn the whole stream. Page keeps charismatic practice per se out of the risk list.
4. **Positive testimony vs. structural risk:** DOVE/Overflow audit found no survivor accounts; WHO corpus shows heavy fallacy density without public abuse cases. Page states both: beliefs create risk conditions; governance decides outcomes.
