# Ben Armstrong **Summary.** A prophetic ministry leader connected to Bethel Church (Redding, CA). He is the **first** of the two flagship case studies in Danny Silk's *Unpunishable* (2019) — presented as proof that the book's restoration model works (Source: Bethel's Book Platformed a Wolf and Silenced His Victims (YouTube exposé video)). ## Role in the critique - Per the exposé, Armstrong groomed a woman in his spiritual care into the early stages of a sexual relationship, and it was not the first instance. Bethel restored him to the pulpit, and the book justified that restoration. - The video reads Bethel's quick restoration as **"testing whether the book worked"** — Silk, having just published *Culture of Honor*, needed to be seen practicing what he preached. - As of **February 2026**, Armstrong's case study is described as publicly unraveling — the outside testimony that breaks the book's self-confirming logic.
