# Jonathan Welton **Summary.** Charismatic teacher in the New Apostolic Reformation orbit. Founder of the Supernatural Bible School / Welton Academy (launched Fall 2013) and author of *Eyes of Honor* and *Raptureless*. He is the central subject of a 2026 survivor-led video exposé that documents a pattern of clergy sexual abuse of women under his ministerial care from 2013–2018, with an earlier version of the same pattern at Randy Clark's Global Awakening (~2009–2010) (Source: Bethel's Book Platformed a Wolf and Silenced His Victims (YouTube exposé video)). ## Role and pattern (critique-side) - Positioned himself as the **"spiritual father"** of target women near his own age, converting intrusive affection and sexualized disclosure into "fatherly love" and "kingdom affection." This is Apostolic Authority / Five-Fold Ministry vocabulary deployed as recruitment architecture. - Two psychologists independently diagnosed **covert narcissistic and antisocial personality disorder**; one called it the worst case in 30 years of practice. The board was told covert narcissists can perform repentance behaviorally without internal change — hence the framework principle **"tears are not data."** - Now publicly calls himself a **"wolf in sheep's clothing"** and teaches on abuse, trust, and restoration, using his own restoration as the credential. ## Restoration and the *Unpunishable* link Danny Silk declared Welton "restored" and made him one of the two flagship case studies in *Unpunishable* (2019) — while chairing the restoration board. The video argues this turned a coverup into published theology. See Danny Silk and Ben Armstrong. > [!question] > Welton's exchange with Joel Richardson (2024–25) shows the live DARVO move: asked why he should be in ministry, he demanded "chapter and verse" for why abuse disqualifies a leader — reframing accountability into a doctrinal argument he could dominate. ## Related - New Apostolic Reformation - Danny Silk · Ben Armstrong · Randy Clark · Shawn Bolz - Bethel Church · Apostolic Authority · Five-Fold Ministry · DARVO
