# Minor Prophets Podcast **Summary.** The Minor Prophets Podcast (host "John Mark," frequent guest David Fish) is a discernment channel run by self-described continuationists who critique abuses within the charismatic movement from inside it. They are now a distinct source author in this wiki for their plagiarism investigation of The Passion Translation. (Source: Minor Prophets — Is the Passion Translation Finished?.) --- ## Profile - **Posture.** Unapologetically continuationist ("believe in and seek to practice spiritual gifts") while rejecting "the subculture I came from" and its leaders — the same not-cessationist critique stance as Mike Winger and the Remnant Radio source. The objection is dishonesty, not spiritual gifts. - **TPT work.** Collaborated with Mike Winger and David Fish on an earlier TPT exposé; the follow-up documents traceable plagiarism source-trails (Paul Younan → Andrew Roth → TPT; du Toit's Mirror Bible; David Bauscher) and the "Jenga tower of trust" discernment thesis. - **Pastoral framing.** Calls for "repentance and restoration," praises repentant pastors, and presses platforms (YouVersion) to remove TPT. --- ## Assessment for this wiki A useful in-tradition critic: their continuationism means their TPT case can't be dismissed as anti-charismatic bias, which strengthens its evidentiary weight in the The Passion Translation page. Promoted from author-mention to entity because they now author a distinct ingested source (same convention applied to Mike Winger and Holly Pivec). > [!question] Sourcing > Host real names beyond "John Mark" / David Fish, channel affiliation, and ministry background are not yet documented. Light entity for now.
