### π Summary
- What is the central message or summary of today's sermon?
Are we in a difficult time, struggle, or suffering? Do we cry or sob?
Is my suffering my identity? Do I stay in my suffering?
[Job 38:1-3](https://www.bible.com/bible/8/JOB.38.1-3)
[[Bible/AMP/Job/Job 38#1|Job 38,1-3]] Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind and said, "Who is this that darkens counsel [questioning my authority and wisdom] By words without knowledge? "Now gird up your loins like a man, And I will ask you, and you instruct Me! [[Bible/AMP/Job/Job 38#2|]] [[Bible/AMP/Job/Job 38#3|]]
Give space for God to operate.
God presents a response to Job. He didnβt answer Jobβs question.
Who is Job fighting? His mind, his thoughts, his pains, or God himself? Can Job see God is pleased with him?
Know your fight. He is in your corner.
[Job 38:1-9](https://www.bible.com/bible/8/JOB.38.1-9)
[[Bible/AMP/Job/Job 38#1|Job 38,1-9]] Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind and said, "Who is this that darkens counsel [questioning my authority and wisdom] By words without knowledge? "Now gird up your loins like a man, And I will ask you, and you instruct Me! "Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? Tell _Me_, if you know _and_ have understanding. "Who determined the measurements [of the earth], if you know? Or who stretched the [measuring] line on it? "On what were its foundations fastened? Or who laid its cornerstone, When the morning stars sang together And all the sons of God (angels) shouted for joy? "Or who enclosed the sea with doors When it burst forth and went out of the womb; When I made the clouds its garment And thick darkness its swaddling band, [[Bible/AMP/Job/Job 38#2|]][[Bible/AMP/Job/Job 38#3|]][[Bible/AMP/Job/Job 38#4|]][[Bible/AMP/Job/Job 38#5|]][[Bible/AMP/Job/Job 38#6|]][[Bible/AMP/Job/Job 38#7|]][[Bible/AMP/Job/Job 38#8|]][[Bible/AMP/Job/Job 38#9|]]
Take time to listen to God. You know he is in your corner.
[Job 42:2-3](https://www.bible.com/bible/8/JOB.42.2-3)
[[Bible/AMP/Job/Job 42#2|Job 42,2-3]] "I know that You can do all things, And that no thought _or_ purpose of Yours can be restrained. "[You said to me] 'Who is this that darkens _and_ obscures counsel [by words] without knowledge?' Therefore [I now see] I have [rashly] uttered that which I did not understand, Things too wonderful for me, which I did not know. [[Bible/AMP/Job/Job 42#3|]]
Stop opposing yourself, or putting yourself in a harmful position by cutting them short. Why are we self-sabotaging?
God loved this world so much that He gave us His son to rescue us from being lost. It is a sacrifice for us.
God is for us. I donβt have to ask questions about how He perceives me.
Fight with God, not against Him. He is in our corner. He is for us.
[Job 40:3-5](https://www.bible.com/bible/8/JOB.40.3-5)
[[Bible/AMP/Job/Job 40#3|Job 40,3-5]] Then Job replied to the LORD and said, "Behold, I am of little importance _and_ contemptible; what can I reply to You? I lay my hand on my mouth. "I have spoken once, but I will not reply again-- Indeed, twice [I have answered], and I will add nothing further." [[Bible/AMP/Job/Job 40#4|]][[Bible/AMP/Job/Job 40#5|]]
[Job 42:2-6](https://www.bible.com/bible/8/JOB.42.2-6)
[[Bible/AMP/Job/Job 42#2|Job 42,2-6]] "I know that You can do all things, And that no thought _or_ purpose of Yours can be restrained. "[You said to me] 'Who is this that darkens _and_ obscures counsel [by words] without knowledge?' Therefore [I now see] I have [rashly] uttered that which I did not understand, Things too wonderful for me, which I did not know. 'Hear, please, and I will speak; I will ask You, and You instruct [and answer] me.' "I had heard of You [only] by the hearing of the ear, But now my [spiritual] eye sees You. "Therefore I retract [my words and hate myself] And I repent in dust and ashes." [[Bible/AMP/Job/Job 42#3|]] [[Bible/AMP/Job/Job 42#4|]] [[Bible/AMP/Job/Job 42#5|]] [[Bible/AMP/Job/Job 42#6|]]
People will not keep you stuck. God will change how we see the circumstances.
