### π Summary
Your actions expose your heart.
[[Bible/AMPC/Luke/Luke 6#43|Luke 6,43-45]] For there is no good (healthy) tree that bears decayed (worthless, stale) fruit, nor on the other hand does a decayed (worthless, sickly) tree bear good fruit. For each tree is known _and_ identified by its own fruit; for figs are not gathered from thornbushes, nor is a cluster of grapes picked from a bramblebush. The upright (honorable, intrinsically good) man out of the good treasure [stored] in his heart produces what is upright (honorable and intrinsically good), and the evil man out of the evil storehouse brings forth that which is depraved (wicked and intrinsically evil); for out of the abundance (overflow) of the heart his mouth speaks. [[Bible/AMPC/Luke/Luke 6#44|]] [[Bible/AMPC/Luke/Luke 6#45|]]
What fills spills. Roots come out in fruit.
Greed or anger in you, thatβs what comes out.
Actions coming out of us expose what is in us. How do we change that? You have to change the roots.
It isnβt what we do. It is who we are.
Only God can uproot sin and transplant it with life.
Focusing on being not doing ends up producing the doing. β
Being becomes doing.
[[Bible/AMPC/John/John 15#5|John 15,5-8]] I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing. If a person does not dwell in Me, he is thrown out like a [broken-off] branch, and withers; such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire, and they are burned. If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My words remain in you _and_ continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you. When you bear (produce) much fruit, My Father is honored _and_ glorified, and you show _and_ prove yourselves to be true followers of Mine. [[Bible/AMPC/John/John 15#6|]][[Bible/AMPC/John/John 15#7|]][[Bible/AMPC/John/John 15#8|]]
God shows off by producing a whole bunch of fruit.
Doing is the fruit of becoming.
The Gardner doesnβt yell at the fruit to produce. The fruit just is.
Jesus didnβt have to say a word to turn water into wine. He does it every season.
God wants to do a miracle in my life. Any time there is lack at the wedding, there was shame in that. When our community doesnβt encounter the wine that should be flowing out of the fruit of the church. God wants to do a miracle in me turning water into wine. Allow the fruit to happen.
[[Bible/AMPC/John/John 15#5|John 15.5]] I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing.
[[Bible/AMPC/John/John 15#8|John 15.8]] When you bear (produce) much fruit, My Father is honored _and_ glorified, and you show _and_ prove yourselves to be true followers of Mine.
We are called to good works. What is the fruit of our life? It is good works produced from our lives. He is the living water that produces the fruit.
A major part of the fruit is eternal, sharing how Jesus changed our life and inviting others to experience His life.
Our church should be producing good fruit. Each member, and collectively.
Why does the church exist? Why Lifehouse exist?
Be a church unchurched people want to attend.
Be for our city.
For the church. Help, start, and multiply churches. Fruit falls to the ground and produces new fruit.
