The system uses WordPress Playground to spin up isolated WordPress instances, Playwright for browser automation, and AI language models to translate natural language commands into executable browser actions. The core workflow involves users writing simple instructions like "create a new post" or "install Jetpack," which the system converts into Playwright selectors and actions. These actions are then executed against a WordPress Playground instance while recording video output. The resulting recordings can be processed into various formats (MP4, potentially GIF) for use in support documentation, tutorials, or larger video productions. Technical architecture includes a sophisticated "pool warming" system where multiple WordPress instances are pre-loaded with specific blueprints to reduce spinning time from 10-14 seconds to near-instantaneous response. This optimization is crucial for user experience during iterative development and testing cycles. ## ๐Ÿ—’๏ธ Notes #### โฑ๏ธ [00:00](https://youtu.be/TMV-Ko_7I_M?t=0) โ€” [H1] Project introduction and guest interaction - Let's just
[00:24] click on this right now because
[00:25] hopefully,
[00:27] let's just see. There we go. Wireframe.
[00:29] What is this thing? What is this thing?
[00:32] Terrence, what do we got here? Skip the
[00:34] UI admin. Ship your plugin.
[00:38] >> Hey, Troy. What's up? Um, so Oh,
[00:45] okay.
[00:48] So, what is this thing? This might be a
[00:50] good ex This might be a good uh Maybe I
[00:53] shouldn't look at this. and we'll have
[00:54] you on for um
[00:57] you know you you you said a small
[00:59] package in there and there's jokes there
[01:02] Terrence there's jokes there's jokes
[01:04] there I'm just I'm but I'm too mature
[01:07] I'm too mature as an adult to make those
[01:10] jokes but I'm very excited for for
[01:16] um I am not Lord of Blood coming in with
[01:19] the shade I love it right anyways this
[01:22] looks really Cool. But why don't we save
[01:24] this and why don't you come on as a
[01:25] guest for Talk Deputy Me and you can
[01:27] walk me through all this stuff. Well,
[01:29] how do you feel about how you like them
[01:31] apples? Why don't we do that?
[01:34] Um, this is cool though. I I mean it
[01:37] it's a it's a framework for for building
[01:39] out uh UI, right? Have you looked at
[01:42] what they're doing in like the sort of
[01:44] the new UI stuff? Um, it's it's pretty
[01:47] experimental, but it's pretty pretty
[01:50] cool stuff. But this looks great. So,
[01:52] this is React. Is that what this is? I
[01:54] don't know. Oh, admin UI. Okay, cool.
[01:57] Very nice.
[01:59] Yeah. Okay. So, I'm going to stop
[02:00] looking at this because the whole
[02:01] premise of it of talk to me is that I
[02:04] don't know anything about it. And then
[02:05] we can I can use it and we can play
[02:06] around with it and we can have some fun
[02:08] with it. So, ping me after um
[02:12] uh ping me after the chat or I I'll
[02:15] reach out out to you and and and we'll
[02:17] schedule something um and and get you
[02:19] on. This is great because I have a
[02:20] couple of really cool guests. Um I have
[02:22] one lined up. Uh Love Cesh who I met at
[02:26] at work camp Asia. He's doing this this
[02:27] thing. It's called WPM and it's really
[02:29] cool. Um so I'm going to get him on and
[02:33] then Alpus. Thanks. Yeah, it's my uh
[02:36] it's my it's my smart look. So and when
[02:41] I when I when I'm annoyed at you I I I I
[02:44] can do this. Great.
[02:49] >> Oh, I love your new uh
[02:53] >> He's getting old. Right. Right. I am
[02:56] getting old, Terrence.
[02:58] We're not all in our teens.
[03:04] Oh, look it. I disappear when I do this.
[03:08] Yep. Green screen.
[03:11] Anyway, you're streaming Call of Duty.
[03:13] Nice, man. That's cool.
[03:17] Um, what's your Twitch? Like, do you
[03:21] can't be going to working out parties
[03:22] and getting drunk? Eh, yeah. Yeah,
[03:27] I bet I can. I'll put original like on
[03:30] Twitch. Yeah. Hold on. I think I have a
[03:35] highlight. What's this? No, I got a
[03:38] shout out and it's uh
[03:43] Let's see.
[03:47] A crap. Sorry, that didn't do it. I have
[03:49] this shout out thing that I'm uh don't
[03:52] really know what I'm doing here. What's
[03:54] that, dude?
[03:56] Okay.
[03:57] Is this it? I'm I'm going to go follow
[04:00] right now. Th This is you. Boom. Can I
[04:04] Can I sub? I can't sub.
[04:07] Everyone go follow Alpus right now. Do
[04:09] it. I'll wait. Nice.
[04:13] Now, the thing is, are are are you good
[04:16] at Call of Duty? Because do you know how
[04:17] awesome and funny it would be if like
[04:20] you were horrible? Like if I played call
[04:22] uh Call of Duty, it would be like I I'd
[04:26] die every 3 seconds and people be like,
[04:28] "Ah."
[04:29] So, yeah. Nice, man. That's the way to
[04:32] do it. I I have this idea for a for a a
[04:35] a channel where like a 46 year old man
[04:38] me plays games that requires like, you
[04:42] know, late late teens, early 20 re re
[04:46] reflexes, so I just get my ass handed to
[04:49] me the whole time. I think that'd be a
[04:51] lot of fun. And it's just me raging out
[04:52] and breaking controllers. That's the
[04:54] whole idea.
[04:56] That's cool.
[04:58] Yes. Uh, Troy, when your validation API
[05:01] is in a place, we're going to have to
[05:03] have you on uh the show again. The show.
[05:05] I sound like I'm like a late night talk
[05:07] host. We'll have you on and you can uh
[05:11] you can uh we we can we we can work on
[05:14] it. What am I saying? Oh my god. And
[05:16] then you'll be the first two-timer club.
[05:18] Be great. It's like Saturday Night Live.
[05:20] Okay. Anyways, enough of this
[05:22] shenanigan. Um so the thing that I'm
[05:25] working on is called WP Director. And
[05:27] the idea behind it was um that it's it's
[05:29] it's a pain in the ass to to set up
[05:32] videos, right,
[05:36] Terrence? Why don't you show up? You're
[05:37] so mean. I can't imagine you as a gamer.
[05:40] Look at this. Look. Look at this guy.
[05:42] Where is this spotlight message
[05:45] guy sits into Sudoku and word searches.
[05:50] I play I I I I am in love with this one
[05:53] game. It's called The Long Dark and it's
[05:55] probably the equivalent of like Sudoku
[05:57] and word searches to people that like
[05:58] live on like Fortnite and all that
[06:00] stuff, but it's like it's an amazing
[06:01] game. I have a lot of fun playing it.
[06:04] You're Yeah, it's like a It's like a
[06:06] wilderness survival game. I love it.
[06:08] It's so much fun. Uh
[06:12] yeah. So, anyways, that's the game that
[06:14] I like to play right now.
[06:17] Anyhow,
[06:19] okay. So si uh setting up a demo in
[06:22] WordPress is not easy. Like if you want
[06:24] to do uh Oh, here we go. Is direct like
[06:27] a WCA WPA AI wrapper? No. So what it is
[06:31] is yes and no. Okay. So okay. So so the
[06:33] premise is I I want to create a video
[06:35] using like of a of a demo in WordPress.
[06:38] So you know playright is a really great
[06:42] way of doing endtoend testing and it's
[06:44] basically like a human or like it's a
[06:46] you know you get a headless browser and
[06:48] it will click through and do things for
[06:49] you. So what I thought I would be really
[06:52] cool is the ability to use natural
[06:53] language say things like go and create a
[06:55] post and then have that be translated
[06:58] into playright end to end like playright
[07:02] uh selectors and then generate a video.
[07:04] So playright will will spit out videos
[07:06] for you. So the idea here is that I I
[07:08] can say things like
[07:10] uh create a new post then install jetack
[07:15] right. So I click that, hit go,
[07:19] and then so it's got the it it's got
[07:22] these these two directions as as I'm
[07:24] calling them. And then if I click
[07:26] preview now, it should happen.
[07:31] Uh oh.
[07:35] It's taking a long. There we go. So
[07:37] we're going to create a new post. I hope
[07:42] this is just failing on my first demo.
[07:54] Why? Okay.
[07:56] All right. Hold on. Stop this. I've got
[07:58] some some some other ones. So, let's do
[08:00] one basic insert test. Okay. So, so this
[08:04] is saying create new post. So, if I
[08:05] preview this, I wonder if my branch is
[08:07] is breaking this.
[08:10] So, yeah. So, here we've created a new
[08:12] post. We're going to pre-populate the
[08:14] title
[08:17] and it's going to do a bunch of stuff.
[08:20] All right.
[08:22] Um, so what it Yeah. So it's it's using
[08:24] playground. So playground is powering
[08:26] these instances here and uh it's and and
[08:30] and we're using uh I'm using clo to uh
[08:33] to uh translate things from natural
[08:37] language into um
[08:43] into uh uh playground steps and so what
[08:46] you can do or not playground to end to
[08:48] end test. So I have a ton of these sort
[08:50] of uh uh uh testing scripts. So the idea
[08:54] is you you can save some some scripts.
[08:56] Um let's do let's load this block
[08:59] selection one. Yeah. So this is so I've
[09:04] created e each of these steps. And so
[09:06] what it's going to do it's going to go
[09:07] through it's going to create new post.
[09:08] It's going to pre-populate the post with
[09:09] some headings and titles and content
[09:15] blah blah blah. It's going to select the
[09:17] text. It's going to set it all to bold.
[09:19] It's going to unbold it. Then it's going
[09:21] to make itallic. And then it's going to
[09:22] move the paragraph up. So I don't even
[09:25] see that video very well. But basically,
[09:26] so so that's the idea. So after you you
[09:29] preview this, you can record it and it
[09:32] will um so so that's going to record
[09:34] now. And then it's going in in my
[09:36] recordings. I've got actual videos. You
[09:38] can set the
[09:40] um I I've been using code a lot. I I I I
[09:44] just got access to codeex through work.
[09:46] We have like a bit of a demo for for 3D.
[09:48] So I haven't really played around with
[09:50] it too much yet. And I I hear people
[09:54] love it. Um, so I'm all for uh uh giving
[09:57] it a whirl. So what this is doing, so so
[09:59] when Playright generates a video, it's a
[10:02] webm and then so what I'm doing is I'm
[10:03] taking that webm and converting it under
[10:05] the hood um
[10:08] to um
[10:11] uh into an MP4. So and I I can pick one
[10:14] of the one of the presets here. So now
[10:16] if I look at this block selection thing,
[10:17] I can load the video. I can download the
[10:20] video, right? And um yeah, so that's
[10:24] kind of what it does right now. There's
[10:27] a lot of stuff going on under the hood.
[10:29] Um I've been spending a lot of time. Is
[10:33] there a way to highlight to clicks or
[10:34] sections? Um well, yeah. So, right now
[10:39] there is so I have this this this admin
[10:42] sidebar thing. So, it does a lot of
[10:43] stuff. So, if I were to preview this, if
[10:45] you look you here, let me close that.
[10:48] You should see a little blue circle
[10:51] where things are being clicked on, which
[10:53] is a little bit maybe not great. Um, but
[10:56] that's kind of where where we're
[10:58] starting. Um,
[11:01] did that just break?
[11:08] Huh? Okay, let's stop that. Another
[11:10] really cool feature that I like is you
[11:13] can if like there's a lot of steps here.
[11:16] So,
[11:19] um yeah. Well, my plan though is to
[11:22] allow that to be a little bit
[11:23] customizable. Like I think it'd be very
[11:24] cool to be like um uh you know, make it
[11:28] a big mouse like make it a big mouse
[11:30] hand, right? Um
[11:35] uh so that's not right. and and maybe be
[11:39] able to choose the colors and stuff like
[11:40] that. But that's sort of that's a bit
[11:42] down the road. But but one feature that
[11:43] I I quite like is the ability to to to
[11:46] do things like this. So I I can say I
[11:49] want to just start from from the user uh
[11:52] uh section. So So what this is going to
[11:54] do is this little this little pin are
[11:57] steps that that are always run. Um no,
[12:00] it doesn't support zooming yet, but
[12:01] that's a pretty cool idea. Um but you
[12:03] can also do that in the post-production
[12:04] of the video. So um that's sort of yeah
[12:09] um so we we can start by opening the
[12:11] admin and then jump directly to going to
[12:13] the users. So let's just go from here
[12:16] maybe. So so if I preview this what
[12:18] should happen is it should go to the
[12:19] admin section of of the page and then it
[12:21] should jump down when it gets there it
[12:24] should try to click on users. I don't
[12:25] know why this isn't working now. This is
[12:27] so frustrating. I spent so much time
[12:28] messing around with the rules
[12:32] and selectors of all this stuff.
[12:35] Uh, let me I'm going to stop this. I'm
[12:37] going to jump back over to a different
[12:38] branch.
[12:40] Um,
[12:42] maybe I borked it in the branch that I'm
[12:45] working on. Okay, never mind.
[12:49] Um,
[12:53] so anyways, there's a a a bunch of
[12:55] things that are going on. One really
[12:57] cool thing that that we did and I didn't
[12:59] do it. I didn't I can't take the credit.
[13:01] My partner did it and he did a great
[13:02] job. Hey, Dave Bonty. Good, good to see
[13:05] you. Is we have this concept of like uh
[13:08] playground pools. So behind the scenes
[13:10] when we start up the server there is the
[13:13] ability like so the like playground
[13:16] takes a long time to spin up, right? So
[13:18] when we hit a preview, we don't want to
[13:20] wait 10 seconds, 14 seconds or whatever
[13:23] it takes. So we have these like these
[13:25] these pools kind of um ready like warmed
[13:29] and ready. So, so there's two in
[13:31] instances of playground that are being
[13:33] run and and so so if if I were to come
[13:36] in here and grab I don't know this block
[13:39] select it should be pretty quick to spin
[13:42] up like that that that's pretty fast
[13:46] considering we have to spin up an entire
[13:48] instance of playground with a blueprint
[13:51] using the CLI. So it's it's it's pretty
[13:54] fast, right? So,
[13:58] um, and and so what I'm working on today
[14:02] is we have this, um,
[14:06] this this, uh, oh, you can't see me go
[14:09] all myself over here. So, if you look,
[14:10] so we have the like the some some
[14:13] blueprint settings. So, if you're not
[14:14] familiar, u, Playground has this
[14:16] concept, the blueprints where you can
[14:17] provide it a a a blueprint for the
[14:20] WordPress instance that you're spinning
[14:22] up. And so what I've been working on is
[14:24] the ability to have the inst the the
[14:28] WordPress instance um be configured on
[14:31] this blueprint level and then when I
[14:33] save it, it actually rewarms the pool.
[14:36] So it kills the existing uh playground
[14:38] instances because the way that it works
[14:40] is when playground is spun up, it it
[14:42] uses the blueprint, the default
[14:43] blueprint. And so when it tries to
[14:46] connect to that after I've made changes
[14:47] here, the there's a hash that that refer
[14:51] to those things and it's based on on the
[14:52] blueprint, it doesn't match. So what we
[14:54] have to do is we have to basically kill
[14:56] those we we have to kill the instances
[14:58] in the pool and spin up new ones um that
[15:01] use the the the latest environment here.
[15:04] So like for example, if I wanted to not
[15:07] have to do this create post like if I
[15:10] preview this now we should show we
[15:12] should start at the dashboard which we
[15:15] do right but then it goes create new
[15:17] post and then it's saying set set a post
[15:19] title and it's doing all of that. So
[15:21] what we can do with this now is say
[15:24] instead of telling it to go create a
[15:25] post just start on the new post page
[15:28] right and then hit hit save. And so so
[15:31] down here there's a little indicator
[15:33] saying what what's happening. So and
[15:35] what's actually happening behind the
[15:36] scenes is it's old process. It's it's
[15:38] killing the old old um playground
[15:41] instances and then spinning up new ones.
[15:43] So now if I were to say delete this step
[15:47] and and and and run this I should just
[15:50] start at the new post page.
[15:54] And there we go. So, um, which is which
[15:58] is pretty cool because, you know, a lot
[16:00] of times you're just always going to be
[16:01] in in the browser. So, like we don't
[16:03] need to be like, we'll go log into
[16:04] WordPress and do all of that, right? And
[16:07] so there's there's all the environment
[16:09] settings for WordPress itself. You can
[16:12] set the you can set PHP versions. You
[16:15] you can set the WordPress version. Now,
[16:17] I there's a thing in here that I want to
[16:19] add that you can actually um because you
[16:22] can say beta and and that'll give you
[16:24] the either the beta or the RC of
[16:27] WordPress and that's not that's not
[16:29] reflected here, but that's fine. So,
[16:30] we'll add that in. And then maybe some
[16:32] more options here. This is, you know, so
[16:34] then in the site settings, you can do
[16:36] all your regular old site settings,
[16:37] right? You can add plugins. So, like if
[16:39] I wanted to add the most add amazing
[16:44] um plugin ever in uh created by by man
[16:49] or woman. Um you can add that and it'll
[16:53] be automatically uh created. You can
[16:55] even tell it to generate a bunch of
[16:57] posts if you want. So, if I save this,
[16:59] so I have to save this now and the
[17:02] playground instances behind the scene
[17:04] are being being dumped and being uh
[17:06] created. And so this is just saying
[17:08] configuring environment. When that when
[17:11] that goes away, I'm good to go. So now
[17:13] if I were to go um
[17:16] let's go like this. Go to the plugins
[17:20] page. Right. So it's going to it's going
[17:24] to do that. I'll just move this up here.
[17:27] Right. And then uh where' that go? Go to
[17:30] the plugins, please.
[17:31] So, so what should happen now is if I go
[17:35] to the plugins page after so it's
[17:36] setting the title.
[17:39] Yeah. Yeah. The author seems so cool and
[17:41] good-looking and tall and wears glasses.
[17:44] Uh oh, I broke it. What happened?
[17:47] Let's just do this.
[17:52] Why is it configuring the environment?
[17:53] Uh oh. There we go. So, you can see that
[17:55] it's actually pre-installed there.
[17:58] Um, and that's because I added it there.
[18:00] So I I don't know what happened there.
[18:03] That was weird using
[18:05] Okay, cool. Um, yeah. So that's kind of
[18:08] that's the sort of high level high level
[18:11] overview of this.
[18:13] I sell it. Showing a free plugin to
[18:15] everyone. That's right. That's right.
[18:17] Terrence, who wants to come on my show
[18:18] and show his stuff?
[18:20] This guy. This guy over here. Over here.
[18:24] Wherever he is. I don't know. Um. Oh
[18:27] yeah. Oh. Oh. Did it create content? So,
[18:28] let's um let's let's tell it to start on
[18:32] the the post page and then
[18:36] uh we'll say we'll we'll say save that.
[18:39] Oh, why did that fell?
[18:46] Wait, wait till that's configured
[18:50] and then uh we'll preview it. So, this
[18:52] should go to the post page and I think
[18:54] we should Yeah. So, so there's nine
[18:55] posts. So what what this is all doing
[18:57] behind the scenes, it's all stuff that
[19:00] um that Playground supports natively and
[19:03] you can actually see the uh uh the JSON
[19:06] here. So it's you know it's pretty
[19:08] straightforward um what we do
[19:10] automatically.
[19:12] Yeah, for sure. So, so there's there's a
[19:16] number of really good use cases I think
[19:19] for this one is like demo videos like
[19:22] for example my advanced gray loop plugin
[19:24] the number of support forum items that I
[19:26] get where it's like I don't know what
[19:27] like why isn't this working how do I do
[19:29] this and it would be great to be like
[19:31] like here's a video showing you go here
[19:32] go here go here go here done right
[19:35] there's that also like like um uh any
[19:39] kind of support request at all actually
[19:41] would would be would be
[19:43] like integrating it with like your.org
[19:47] org account. So you can you can reply to
[19:50] the support forums or like at at work
[19:53] like on the.com side. That would be a
[19:55] really big win. Generating the videos,
[19:58] which is the sort of the the initial
[20:00] idea. Like the the thing was my my sort
[20:03] of first level um
[20:06] metric is is like creating videos in
[20:09] under five minutes. And I think that
[20:11] that is is doable now. Like I I loaded a
[20:15] script, right? Uh what's this one?
[20:19] Right. And and so now
[20:22] I tell it to do that and and I hit
[20:25] record and it takes the the time it
[20:27] takes to run this and process that
[20:29] video. That's how how long it takes,
[20:33] right? Yeah. Outputting as as GIFs would
[20:35] be very cool. I'm sure that's something
[20:37] that we could do, right? Um because I'm
[20:40] I'm using a library under the hood to
[20:41] convert the the videos. So I think it's
[20:44] What library is it? I can't remember.
[20:46] Let's look
[20:48] uh ffmpeg. So, it might be able to to to
[20:53] do it with uh
[20:56] what's arcade.software.
[20:58] Oh, yeah.
[21:01] Yeah. Yeah. I I I mean what I'm doing is
[21:04] not uh or what what we're doing I don't
[21:06] think is like um
[21:09] unique in
[21:12] you know but it's definitely it's using
[21:16] all all pre-existing technology which is
[21:18] nice and um I don't know it's it's
[21:21] WordPress uh specific and it's fun. Um
[21:25] so yes so specifically what I was
[21:28] working on is this poll request for the
[21:31] blueprints. Oh, what is this?
[21:36] Oh, this is cool. Oh, I want to check
[21:40] this out.
[21:47] Okay, we're going to look at this. Um,
[21:50] first I have to commit a small change.
[21:52] Um,
[21:55] small fix uh to
[22:02] I spell variable right
[22:06] that come in here. Go like this.
[22:12] Get check out. Boom. And okay, cool. So,
[22:14] let's go through and start. I'm excited
[22:16] about this one because one of the
[22:18] settings like one of the things that
[22:20] that we've done here is Oh, he's moved
[22:23] all that. So, where is it? In here.
[22:26] Recording settings. Oh, nice. Okay. So,
[22:30] something that I wanted to So, there's I
[22:31] guess there just a set of flipping host
[22:33] and get whatever. Yeah. Yeah. So, one
[22:36] thing there's a couple of of settings
[22:38] that were over here before. So, first is
[22:40] is the video size. So, this is uh 720p,
[22:44] 1080p, and then 4K. Um, and then we had
[22:47] outro length cuz what at the end of the
[22:49] last step, it just kind of like dies
[22:51] like it stops creating video. So, what
[22:53] we wanted to do was add some some
[22:54] padding on on the end so you could
[22:56] actually do something with it. So, um,
[22:58] but what a has just added is typing
[23:02] speed and paused between steps, which is
[23:04] very cool. So, I want to see what
[23:07] happens if I go to my block selection,
[23:10] right? Boom. So, let's preview that.
[23:14] And so, the pause between steps is zero
[23:16] milliseconds.
[23:20] So, I want to see what that looks like.
[23:29] Okay, that's pretty quick.
[23:34] This is cool.
[23:38] I wonder why it's zero mill because
[23:39] there is a default I think there's a
[23:41] default space. Okay, so now I'm So
[23:44] there's two things that I want to check.
[23:45] There's the the the typing speed. So
[23:47] let's make it type super fast, 10
[23:49] milliseconds a character. So we'll see
[23:51] what that looks like.
[23:54] Um because when it populates the post,
[23:56] it should type super fast. Okay,
[23:59] awesome. Who? Oh, yeah. Yeah. No, it's
[24:02] fine. Okay, so let's stop that. Let's So
[24:06] we can we can
[24:10] huh. All right, let's see. I set it at 7
[24:14] seconds or whatever. So, this should
[24:15] slow things down. The the spa the time
[24:17] between steps should take longer, I
[24:21] think.
[24:28] Is that going slower?
[24:31] No.
[24:36] Okay. I can't tell. I can't tell if
[24:38] that's slower.
[24:40] I feel like that's faster than than what
[24:42] it was before. So, let's let's set it to
[24:45] like 0.1 and see see how how quick that
[24:48] goes.
[24:59] That seemed
[25:04] okay. That's not having the same the
[25:06] same kind of effect that I was hoping it
[25:07] would have, but that doesn't seem too
[25:09] too slow. Okay, that's cool. I I like
[25:12] that. Um that's super cool. And I'm glad
[25:15] that we've moved the recording settings
[25:16] into a a thing. I think we need some
[25:18] more spacing in here. make it look a
[25:19] little a little nicer. Probably move
[25:22] video size above that, but it's cool
[25:25] though. Okay, awesome. Um, anyways. All
[25:28] right, let me uh back to the other
[25:33] branch.
[25:36] All right, let me start working on what
[25:38] I was working on.
[25:40] Cool. Guess the time we host locally.
[25:45] Wait, what do you mean? Oh. Oh, this
[25:47] thing. Um, are you talking about WB
[25:49] director
[25:51] Terrence? Is that what you mean?
[25:58] Um, I was I was thinking eventually it
[26:00] could be an Electron app basically. That
[26:03] would be kind that would be kind of
[26:04] cool, I think. Um, so anyways, the PR
[26:08] that I'm working on, so
[26:12] there's a lot to it. Um, but there's
[26:14] some things that that seem to be getting
[26:16] broken. Um, so that's what I'm working
[26:20] on right now. And so I have been, full
[26:24] disclosure, I've been vibe coding the
[26:26] heck out of this thing and it's been a
[26:27] whole ton of fun. My director's
[26:29] eyeglasses. Yeah.
[26:31] Yeah. I can't see anymore, man. So I
[26:34] need glasses. Um, so what? Uh,
[26:42] >> all right. So here's the plan.
[26:49] Oh, no. Sorry. This is the plan. So,
[26:54] I used I've been using skills a ton. I I
[26:56] used the skill to create a PRD for this
[26:58] and then a plan based on this. Taking
[27:01] this really great course by Matt Poaki,
[27:03] I think his name is. Um, and it's uh
[27:07] introduced me to some ideas around how
[27:10] to approach things like planning and
[27:11] this idea of the tracer bullet, which I
[27:13] don't know. thing. So, if you're not
[27:16] familiar, so it
[27:20] I'm not going to explain it the the
[27:22] right way, but if you haven't heard of
[27:23] this concept, like the like a tracer
[27:26] bullet is a thing from World War II
[27:27] where they used to put like a phosphorus
[27:29] bullet in every eight or 10 bullets or
[27:31] whatever it was, so when anti-aircraft
[27:33] guns were shooting at planes, they could
[27:34] see where they were actually going,
[27:35] right? Um so so but it it's a it's also
[27:39] a software like a a software and
[27:41] engineering uh concept because AI when
[27:44] you make a plan it tends to go very much
[27:46] like it's stacked right so we we have
[27:49] the first thing that relies on the
[27:51] second thing that relies like the the
[27:53] fourth thing relies on the third on the
[27:54] second on the first and so on and so
[27:55] forth so it can be very brittle and when
[27:58] you do a plan sometimes like your fourth
[27:59] step will have a function name that may
[28:01] not even be accurate at that point. So,
[28:03] this the concept of like a Tracer bullet
[28:05] approach kind of goes um Yeah. Yeah. Uh
[28:09] Terrence, I I do. Let's uh let's figure
[28:12] that out. I'm going to I I have a bunch
[28:14] of travel coming out the next few weeks.
[28:16] So, I think there might be like one week
[28:17] between I'm going to work camp Portugal
[28:20] like next week and then I'm going to
[28:22] work in Europe at the beginning of June.
[28:23] So, in between there, I think we can get
[28:25] one in. But, I'm think that might be
[28:27] already accounted for. But when I get
[28:29] back, I'm going to go uh crazy and get
[28:32] everyone on. So it'll either be in, you
[28:34] know, late May or maybe even or or June,
[28:37] but we'll talk about it. Um, cool.
[28:39] Anyway, so the concept, so when you
[28:41] apply this tracer bullet approach,
[28:43] instead of being like um a vertical
[28:47] stack, it's sort of a horizontal thing
[28:48] that runs the entire length of your
[28:50] application. So each each little piece
[28:52] is sort of almost standalone. So you can
[28:54] do like slice A, as it's called here,
[28:57] and then that'll just be a thing, and
[28:58] then everything else continues to work.
[29:00] And it's actually worked out really
[29:02] really well. So I just tell like clone
[29:04] like create a plan for me using the
[29:06] tracer bullet approach that does this
[29:09] right. And it's actually been been quite
[29:12] good. Um I actually quite uh I quite
[29:15] like it. Um
[29:19] so
[29:23] yeah.
[29:25] So, I'm going to I'm going to tell it to
[29:27] do slice A, but I want to make sure that
[29:29] slice A Okay, stops logging. Okay, save
[29:32] weight. Save save weight. Save preview
[29:36] stops logging that. Okay, so let's see
[29:39] if we if we can reproduce that. So, in
[29:41] his
[29:43] in here
[29:44] starting these errors in the terminal
[29:46] once it started happening happen every
[29:47] time I previewed anything. Previewing
[29:49] itself worked though. I think I can get
[29:50] it to rep by making a change to the
[29:52] blueprint, waiting for it to load, then
[29:53] making another changing and clicking
[29:54] preview. The first preview is disabled,
[29:56] but the second time preview is enabled.
[29:58] Okay. All right. So, I think what he's
[30:00] talking about is let's get these things
[30:04] happening side by side so we can see
[30:05] this, right? So, we can see that we've
[30:07] got slot one, whatever is warm and
[30:09] ready.
[30:10] Uh, we're going to move this over here.
[30:11] I'm going to make a change to my
[30:13] blueprint. Uh, I'm just going to load
[30:16] whatever this this block selection.
[30:18] doesn't make a change to my blueprint.
[30:22] Make it go to new post and hit save. So,
[30:25] this gets
[30:27] this goes away.
[30:31] And do I hit do I make another change?
[30:33] And then hit save again.
[30:47] I can't reproduce this.
[31:07] Huh?
[31:09] Okay.
[31:17] Huh? Okay.
[31:27] Make change book. Wait for it to load.
[31:28] Then make another change. Click preview.
[31:31] First time second time.
[31:34] Okay.
[31:36] All right. So, let's see if we can do
[31:38] this. So, we're hit
[31:40] this
[31:42] four.
[31:48] That's
[32:02] I can't I can't reproduce that.
[32:59] Okay. Well, I mean, I can
[33:17] weird. I mean, it's working. I'm just
[33:20] not and I'm not getting that error. So,
[33:22] I'm not really sure.
[33:27] So,
[33:35] okay, I'm going to I'm going to I'm I'm
[33:38] going to try this. Okay, I'm just going
[33:40] to see if this makes any difference. Uh,
[33:43] so cool. So, what I'm going to do is I'm
[33:45] I'm gonna
[33:47] plans I have it uh what's it called?
[33:51] It's called uh plan
[33:55] pool
[34:02] and blue
[34:05] print you dash UI
[34:09] fixes MD
[34:12] I'm going to say do
[34:15] slice can I call it slice A
[34:21] slice A let's
[34:23] to a close test.
[34:26] This is how I've been coding now. Oh,
[34:28] and oh, the other thing that I've I I've
[34:30] been using is I've been talking to
[34:33] directly. I've been using Super Whisper,
[34:35] which is fantastic.
[34:41] And so, so when I want to talk it, it
[34:44] does kill my music though, which is a
[34:45] bit a bit of a bummer.
[34:49] So, we're going to let that spin. We're
[34:50] going to let that run.
[34:53] And
[34:55] does anyone know include so I can't it
[34:58] doesn't seem to it doesn't seem to be
[34:59] able to access files that have been get
[35:01] ignored like when I try to access the
[35:03] plans thing. Um it's it's annoying.
[35:07] Maybe I'll ask you know what maybe I'll
[35:09] ask code.
[35:19] Check this out. Come on, Clo.
[35:23] How can I have Clo reference files using
[35:25] the at symbol that have been get
[35:26] ignored?
[35:30] There we go.
[35:34] 14 skills dropped. That's weird. I need
[35:36] to figure what that is. Okay, so that's
[35:38] doing that.
[35:45] Oh, that's weird. How are we doing? Say
[35:48] changing. I'll make Buddha indemn imen I
[35:52] can't say that word. Whoa. Okay. What's
[35:55] going on here? Let's look.
[35:58] The boot is already in flight over the
[36:00] slot. Is it promise to turn into
[36:02] spawning a second? Cool. Okay. If
[36:06] actual work for does not manage.
[36:10] All right. Let's say yes.
[36:17] Oh, really? That's all I have to do.
[36:22] Respect get ignored. So, I should be
[36:24] able to put this in this in my settings
[36:26] in here, right? Boop. I should be able
[36:29] to go that.
[36:38] Oh, no. That's not the right one.
[36:43] Okay. So, what's this? What's this thing
[36:44] doing?
[36:47] All right, we're going to try it. We're
[36:49] going to We're going to run it. We're
[36:50] going to do this. We're going to yolo
[36:52] this.
[36:54] Okay. So, let's just see. What does this
[36:56] do? Okay.
[37:02] Okay. We'll get rid of that. Is that
[37:03] what he's literally talking about here?
[37:05] This refresh another. So the way I built
[37:08] this was I I I pointed code to this PR
[37:13] and said take a look at the comments and
[37:15] come up with a plan around how we could
[37:18] implement these things using the tracer
[37:20] bullet approach and that's what it came
[37:21] up with and it literally like pulled in
[37:23] the images. It's pretty pretty cool.
[37:27] What is that? Um what is that? What's it
[37:30] doing?
[37:32] So I say done. Okay. So lock can be
[37:35] held. Okay. Remove acquire. Okay. NPM
[37:37] start wave save
[37:40] then save wait save preview five times
[37:43] in a row the duplicate workless blocks
[37:44] and it should be gone. Okay. So let's do
[37:47] that. So okay. So we're going to go over
[37:48] here. Uh I'm just going to kill this and
[37:52] restart the server entirely. Okay. And
[37:55] then come over here. And it's what what
[37:56] is it? What is it? Save then wait then
[37:59] save preview five times. Okay. So let's
[38:01] get a script. Sure. We'll get that one.
[38:06] And then I got to go blueprint. I got to
[38:08] reset the br the blueprint trigger
[38:11] environment already.
[38:13] So what's actually happening over here?
[38:16] Opress is started. Okay. Okay. So we got
[38:20] to make a change. So I'm going to say
[38:21] 8.4 save. We're going to wait. That's
[38:24] going to go away. Then we're going to
[38:25] hit save again.
[38:33] Save. Preview.
[38:52] Huh? YOLO is right. Hey, Mr. Revelis.
[38:58] Rebels. Revel. Mr. Revasless. Welcome to
[39:00] the stream. Thank you for being first
[39:02] time chat. YOLO. I like YOLO. YOLO is
[39:04] fun.
[39:07] See, the way the way this works on this
[39:09] project is Athenus is way smarter than
[39:11] me and way better at being a developer.
[39:14] So, what I do is I come up with these
[39:16] ideas and I and and I vibe vibe code the
[39:18] crap out of it. And uh that Yeah. And
[39:22] then and then he comes in and goes, "Oh,
[39:24] hold on now.
[39:27] Let's fix this, this, and this." And I
[39:29] go, "Okay." And then I fix it. Um, so
[39:31] without him, this this project would
[39:33] just be spaghetti code wrapped up with
[39:35] duct tape and best wishes.
[39:38] Um, so yeah, anyhow,
[39:46] like Justin Wait,
[39:52] who? Wait, do I know do I know you?
[39:55] Who's Justin? What's Justin.tv. I don't
[39:57] want to click that link. I can't click
[39:58] that link.
[40:03] Do we know each other outside of uh our
[40:07] interaction here?
[40:09] Justin TV sounds very familiar. Ryan
[40:12] doesn't know Justin TV.
[40:16] >> Don't click Twitch bought it. Yeah,
[40:18] probably.
[40:34] >> Okay.
[40:37] Doing this off stream.
[40:50] I feel like I should I should know.
[40:57] Feel like I I I I feel like
[41:06] Oh, okay. All right.
[41:26] Oh, I I'm getting it now. Okay. Yes. I
[41:29] didn't know that Justin TV was it was
[41:31] was Twitch is is is Twitch because I'm
[41:34] 46 years old. Okay.
[41:39] I have my my phone is set up with large
[41:42] font and I have to fat finger it all the
[41:45] time. You're 55. Well, welcome to I'm
[41:49] 46. So,
[41:52] Revlus, thank you for joining, sir.
[41:59] That's awesome.
[42:01] Oh, share the playlist. Yeah. Yeah. So,
[42:03] there's actually a uh there's actually
[42:06] dad um is playlist. Yeah, playing. There
[42:11] is a playing thing that shows what's
[42:13] happening. Um and I do I can get you the
[42:15] the playlist. It is a um stream safe
[42:19] uh copy link to the playlist. I'll just
[42:21] drop it in here. Um
[42:25] so, that is the Spotify playlist on
[42:28] there.
[42:29] Yeah. Cool. Um, you're in the you're in
[42:32] the WordPress page. You probably put my
[42:34] handle isn't YouTube. Y'all probably
[42:36] know that my handle isn't
[42:43] you. Well, what's your hand like what's
[42:46] your I mean, do do we have WordPress
[42:49] like do we have like WordPress royalty
[42:51] in in the room right now? Yeah. I want a
[42:53] hint. Come on.
[43:05] What is Oh, WP director uh what is it
[43:08] doing? Tobias Durkson is asking what is
[43:10] Warp. Uh so WP director is um like
[43:13] what's it doing right this second or
[43:15] what's it uh what's it meant to do? It's
[43:17] basically to create videos using word
[43:19] using playright and playground and
[43:21] natural language to convert things like
[43:25] you're a you're a podcaster
[43:34] a podcaster.
[43:37] I'm trying to match the age now or with
[43:39] the with the I know a couple of
[43:43] podcasters. Have we met in person?
[43:44] That's that's the question. Have Have
[43:46] you and I met in person?
[43:56] Anyways, um 75% chance. Why? Why? Why
[44:00] are you being so evasive? Do you owe me
[44:03] money?
[44:18] Is your name Matt?
[44:26] Kids are adult. Yeah. Not a Matt. Not a
[44:29] Mat. It's not a Bob, is it?
[44:44] still living in states.
[44:52] We get to be guests on his most
[44:53] successful p on their most successful
[44:56] podcast. That's that's the guest. That's
[44:59] the thing.
[45:04] Um anyways, Tobias to answer your
[45:07] question, WP director is uh basically
[45:10] allowing us to create videos um using
[45:13] using playground and playright. So the
[45:15] the idea would be that you would add
[45:17] these um
[45:19] does this one work?
[45:22] um you would you would you would create
[45:24] these things and then it would it would
[45:26] generate a video and so then you could
[45:28] take that video and you could upload it
[45:30] you could use it uh to create a video
[45:32] for example like so here's one that that
[45:33] we created earlier um that uh
[45:38] that does all this and then you would
[45:40] take that and you could do whatever you
[45:41] want with it. You can add it to to a
[45:43] support form. you could you could use it
[45:44] in a larger video, which is sort of the
[45:46] the idea that kind of spawned this was
[45:49] to be able to quickly set up WordPress
[45:52] uh uh demos that are click by click
[45:55] stuff like that. Um I know why this
[45:57] isn't working because I keep changing
[45:58] the uh the place where it starts.
[46:02] >> Hug props work.
[46:06] >> All right, I'm just going to Google you.
[46:08] That's what I'm going to do. We're doing
[46:11] it, mister. I'm doing this off.
[46:16] >> I'm doing this off.
[46:32] >> Oh, I don't know.
[46:34] >> All right.
[46:38] Um, cool. Okay. So, I can't reproduce
[46:41] this error at all. Um, and so what I'm
[46:44] going to do is I'm going to I'm going to
[46:46] just move on from this error because um
[46:51] I think what what is this? Oh, the
[46:53] blueprint that that that blueprint's
[46:55] wrong. Um,
[47:02] >> okay. So, I need to fix that up. Who
[47:04] wouldn't want a hug if it's from you,
[47:06] Kevin? Nobody. Everybody wants to get a
[47:08] hug.
[47:15] What the heck? Okay, that's it. We're
[47:18] googling that. We're googling it.
[47:24] >> WP Tonic.
[47:35] >> Nope. Longer. The Matt report. We
[47:38] already said you're not a mat.
[47:52] I don't know. You're just going to have
[47:53] to tell us. You're just going to have to
[47:54] tell us unless someone else knows. I'm
[47:56] at a complete loss. I'm at a complete
[47:59] loss.
[48:01] I But your the your handle sounds
[48:03] familiar for some reason. I can't place
[48:05] it. I can't place it. and
[48:08] frankly.
[48:11] Okay. So, let's see. So, I'm going to
[48:12] commit this. I'm going to I'm going to
[48:15] commit this, I think, um because we're
[48:17] not able to reproduce anything. So, I'm
[48:19] going to say commit. Commit this.
[48:22] Commit this.
[48:25] All right. I love just telling Clo what
[48:27] to do. It's fantastic.
[48:31] Not a ter good hint. I was part of the
[48:33] trial two years back.
[48:40] to be a writer for them.
[48:59] I have no idea. Negative, Troy. Yeah, it
[49:03] can be very negative.
[49:06] Um,
[49:09] okay. So, let's see what the next step
[49:11] is here. This is This is going to drive
[49:14] me crazy.
[49:17] >> I can't. Good thing is my suggestion.
[49:19] The rest of come up will probably limit
[49:20] whatever was. Yeah. Oh, there's Atas
[49:23] right there. Hey, how's it going? He's
[49:25] on uh he's on YouTube. We're over here
[49:28] on Twitch if we're um
[49:32] if we're if you want to jump on on
[49:34] Twitch to join the chat. But uh yeah,
[49:36] but you're welcome to hang out there.
[49:39] Yeah. Yeah, I I know it's become
[49:41] spaghetti. He's he's saying funny things
[49:44] that my code is crap. Basically, it's
[49:45] not not my code, but it is my code. But
[49:48] uh yeah, he's right. It is turning into
[49:50] spaghetti code. So, let's um
[49:55] Okay, so I've fixed that first step. I'm
[49:58] going to I'm I'm going to take a look at
[49:59] the second slice. We we we and we can
[50:02] see what this was. Preview run disabled
[50:03] instantly unsaved. Clicking save
[50:05] disables preview run in the same frame.
[50:07] No, preview was enabled the second time
[50:08] race. Okay, so that's kind of cool. Um
[50:11] but yeah, but just because Troy's
[50:13] throwing it to tell doesn't mean you you
[50:14] you're not going to tell us, right? Like
[50:16] you have to tell us. You have to tell us
[50:18] at this point. I don't know. I'm going
[50:21] to move over here. You have to tell us.
[50:24] It's a rule. Someone you can look it up.
[50:28] Okay. Clicking save disables preview run
[50:30] in the same frame. No. Preview was
[50:31] enabled the second time. Right. Would a
[50:32] DM work over? Yes. DM me. Are are Well,
[50:37] let me ask you this. Are you trying to
[50:39] keep your identity secret for security
[50:41] reasons or safety reasons?
[50:44] Will I will I I don't want to dox you.
[50:51] Okay. Yeah, you can ping me over on uh
[50:54] I'll get my uh
[50:57] >> I'll get my Slack open here and move it
[51:00] off screen. You can you can ping me in
[51:04] in there if you want. Is that how you
[51:06] found out about the stream
[51:09] through the the self-promotion channel?
[51:13] >> Ah, nice. Okay. Well, um DMs are open.
[51:17] So, here we go. And I appreciate you
[51:19] being here, by the way. So, thank you so
[51:21] much. And I will absolutely follow
[51:22] whatever your podcast is, unless it's um
[51:24] you know, something really boring, in
[51:26] which case I won't, but uh I will most
[51:29] likely. Okay. So, slice B is disabling
[51:32] the preview run. No preview. Okay. So,
[51:35] let's
[51:36] click save. Pref.
[51:39] Okay. Cool. So, let's do let's do that.
[51:41] Do OP do slice B. Bam. DM sent.
[51:45] Oh.
[51:48] Oh.
[51:50] Oh.
[51:52] Well, welcome to the stream. Thank you.
[51:55] And thank you for adding a certain level
[51:58] of drama and intrigue to the stream.
[52:00] Otherwise, it would have been pretty
[52:01] dry. So, I appreciate you. Um,
[52:05] and I should I keep you secret? I I'm
[52:08] fine to keep you secret.
[52:11] Chat really wants to know. Uh, oh,
[52:14] actually, you know what? I'm I'm gonna
[52:16] out you because we have to because just
[52:18] because of all of that, you're gonna
[52:19] have to go Oh. Oh, can you can you let
[52:21] some figure it out? Okay, great. Well,
[52:23] by the end of the stream, if we haven't
[52:25] figured it if they haven't figured it
[52:26] out, can you drop the link to your um
[52:29] podcast in there, too? And I'll uh I'll
[52:31] make sure that I uh I drop it in the
[52:33] chat and we'll get everybody to uh um to
[52:36] uh subscribe.
[52:39] Nice. So much fun. Well, I hope you come
[52:42] back. Thank you so much for making this
[52:44] uh
[52:46] >> way less boring than just me insulting
[52:48] Terrence.
[52:50] So,
[52:54] >> all right. That's very cool. Hey, Atess
[52:56] is in um is is in Twitch there. I I see
[52:58] you in the viewers. So, um
[53:03] >> yeah,
[53:07] actually Ednas, if you feel like it, you
[53:08] can come. I I I can turn on um stream
[53:12] together and you can you can jump in the
[53:15] the the the the
[53:17] Oh my god, this
[53:22] can't talk. You can jump on stream with
[53:24] me if you want to, but you don't have
[53:25] to. That's cool. Uh I know it's probably
[53:27] pretty late for you right now, but um
[53:29] happy to have you on if you want to
[53:31] join. Um okay, get back to the project.
[53:34] Okay, cool. So, this is still running.
[53:36] Uh so what it's going to end up doing is
[53:37] I think the plan is here is that okay so
[53:39] if we were if we go and look at WP
[53:41] director if I uh I'm I'm just going to
[53:44] reset everything here. Uh that's
[53:47] something I I want to change. I don't
[53:48] like that. We're going to clear this.
[53:50] We're going to reset it. So that's going
[53:51] to configure the environment for us when
[53:53] that's done.
[53:55] Um
[53:59] >> okay. So this this should be good to go.
[54:01] So when I hit uh what what is it? Okay.
[54:05] So, when I hit save, when I change this
[54:07] to go to just the the new post and I hit
[54:09] save, there's a a second before that.
[54:12] Oh, this is something's going on here.
[54:17] >> Okay,
[54:19] there's a apparently Oh, because there's
[54:21] nothing in there, dummy. Okay, standby.
[54:25] Standby.
[54:27] Block selection. Okay. So, what should
[54:30] be happening is when I hit save, there's
[54:33] a bit of a delay between hitting save
[54:34] and this preview button being disabled,
[54:37] which it should already have been
[54:38] disabled by this point. I'm going to go
[54:41] ahead and and ref and refresh this. So,
[54:44] when it so
[54:46] block selection, okay, so the preview
[54:48] button is active here, but what should
[54:50] happen is when I come into the
[54:51] environment and I go new post, I hit
[54:54] save. This should get to save. So,
[54:56] there's a delay there, right?
[55:00] Nice. No, please do. Atas is uh taking
[55:03] the little agent of chaos, which is a
[55:05] fantastic name, uh to learn how to ride
[55:08] a bike. So, that is way more important
[55:09] than what we were doing here today.
[55:11] Please go and enjoy the sun and your
[55:14] little one. That's amazing. Um but yeah,
[55:17] so that's what this fix should do is it
[55:19] should make it so um
[55:24] add flag. Okay. According to the plan,
[55:27] it should make it so that's
[55:28] instantaneous so we don't get into any
[55:30] race conditions. So,
[55:33] um, yeah. So, I'm just gonna I I'm
[55:37] basically just like approving all of
[55:39] these changes, but I also like to look
[55:40] at them. I I'm kind of, you know, like
[55:43] the these are pretty minor, but I it's
[55:45] it's I've I I I've noticed something in
[55:48] a project. So, this is a project like
[55:49] real project. I consider it a real a
[55:51] real project that I've it's really the
[55:53] first one that I've been like this is
[55:54] going to be some kind of production code
[55:56] at some point and I've really learned
[55:58] like I've really realized that like I
[56:00] don't really know what's going on with
[56:02] the code. I I I do in in a sense of like
[56:05] I know what the project is doing. I know
[56:07] what Atnas has worked on. Um I know the
[56:11] what what what's happening behind the
[56:12] scenes but like the the me like the real
[56:15] like line by line stuff I don't know. So
[56:18] I'm finding that I spend a lot of time
[56:19] looking at these things even if they're
[56:21] like you know sometimes it's a big wall
[56:23] of code but just to like to to get a
[56:27] sense of of um what's actually being
[56:31] done and I'm also you know I'll do a
[56:33] bunch of stuff and then I'll come back
[56:35] and say okay now take a look at the code
[56:36] is there anything that is redundant or
[56:38] not being used or you know can be can be
[56:41] made more efficient and stuff like that
[56:43] and that seems to help because it it
[56:45] will go through and it'll it'll tell
[56:47] tell me it's suggestions and then I you
[56:49] know and so it helps me to get more
[56:52] familiar with the code um because I can
[56:54] see how this could just get like super
[56:58] duper messy and not not easy to maintain
[57:02] at all. So yeah.
[57:05] Oh. Oh,
[57:19] there we go. We have a winner. Kevin.
[57:22] >> Kevin.
[57:23] >> Kevin is the winner.
[57:26] Nice. I It's Adam from the Kitchen Sync
[57:29] podcast. Um
[57:32] I will just I'm going to drop the link
[57:34] in chat. Everyone go and everyone go and
[57:37] subscribe right now.
[57:40] Um, well done, Kevin. Of course, Kevin.
[57:43] Of course Kevin got it. Of course he
[57:46] did.
[57:50] And I can read backwards.
[57:52] Oh, what's Oh,
[57:56] silver R.
[58:00] Oh, man.
[58:02] Silver RM. What's RM?
[58:06] Oh, Kevin is
[58:10] Kevin, you're just so smart. And I'm
[58:12] really sorry that I didn't see you at
[58:14] work campa
[58:17] equals silver. Mr. Silver, so good. Well
[58:21] done. Well done. Well done. Um
[58:27] Oh, I know what I know what this calls
[58:28] for.
[58:35] Can't believe nobody's uh I can't
[58:38] believe nobody has uh where is it?
[58:40] Nobody has uh has that. Yeah, got it.
[58:44] Nice.
[58:49] Fantastic. Fantastic. That was such a
[58:51] good such a good use of time.
[58:55] Awesome. Well, Adam, what is what what's
[58:57] your next episode about? Tell us.
[59:01] tell us everything.
[59:03] Okay. Open. Okay.
[59:07] All right. Let's make sure that we have
[59:10] um this this running
[59:14] next Monday. And can you share the topic
[59:16] or is it just is it a secret?
[59:24] All right. I'm just going to go ahead
[59:26] and restart the server there. Okay.
[59:28] We're going to go over here. So, this
[59:29] should fix that the um this should fix
[59:34] the issue that we talked about. So, this
[59:37] should now if I come in here and I make
[59:39] a change to let's say I want to go to
[59:40] the new post page and I hit save. This
[59:42] should There we go. So, that immediately
[59:45] did it. That's so much better because
[59:48] it's just better. It's just better.
[59:52] Stand by.
[59:55] Um,
[60:01] already warmed with this blueprint.
[60:09] Interesting. Okay,
[60:16] so reset. Let's reset.
[60:22] That's weird. Okay, so
[60:25] I don't know. Is that because
[60:28] So I'm already noticing. Okay, so that
[60:30] worked. So I I got this interesting I
[60:34] got this interesting
[60:37] um edge case here. So if I go to new
[60:40] post, I'm going to uh
[60:46] Oh, nice. Oh. Oh, that's a great title.
[60:50] Understanding licenses, Ownership, and
[60:51] why it matters. That's so good.
[60:54] I think I I think that's a that's an
[60:56] area that people don't really understand
[60:58] a lot like the licenses and why the
[61:00] licenses are so important and why um
[61:05] so that's a great that's a great title
[61:06] is this do you do you have a guest or
[61:19] nope so cool awesome well that's very
[61:22] exciting okay so I did hit an edge case
[61:24] there where it was already warmed.
[61:26] Rewarming where we got the already
[61:28] warmed and that that failed it. So, I
[61:31] guess let me see what the next step is.
[61:34] Handful of guests a year. Well, it's got
[61:36] to be pretty hard to never miss a week
[61:38] and always be lining up guests. Um I
[61:40] mean, I'm just dipping my toe into sort
[61:42] of the the concept of having a guest.
[61:44] Like my talk debut me stream is people
[61:47] come on and they show me the thing that
[61:49] they're working on. So, and I mean just
[61:51] like just the logistics of getting
[61:53] people to, you know, send me head shot
[61:55] and um you know, logos. Uh it's been
[61:58] pretty good so far, but just like you
[62:00] have to book like so far out, you know,
[62:02] like uh Nathan Wrigley, um I know does a
[62:06] lot of of guest stuff and he's always
[62:07] like trying to find guests and you know,
[62:10] it's hard. It's hard. It's a ton of
[62:12] work. So, hats off to you. I was wearing
[62:13] a hat. I take off. Um but yeah, very
[62:18] cool. All right. So, let's
[62:29] So, okay. So, here is the issue that I'm
[62:32] seeing. When we had this the the error
[62:35] of already warm with this blueprint, the
[62:38] um preview never came back. So, if I hit
[62:41] save here, I should have the same. Okay,
[62:44] it's already it's already warm.
[62:47] No. Okay.
[63:04] Then preview just never comes back. Now
[63:06] I'm wondering if that'll be fixed with
[63:08] the later.
[63:11] No, I'm I'm I'm going to fix it as part
[63:13] of this. Um Okay. So, I I'm I'm use
[63:17] Super Whisper. When I save a blueprint
[63:20] and I get the warning or the message
[63:22] that the the pool has already been what
[63:26] was what was the message um
[63:29] is already warm with this blueprint. The
[63:32] um
[63:34] UI never comes back. So, preview is
[63:37] always is still disabled and the
[63:39] configuring in in environment indicator
[63:42] is shown. This is going to be just junk.
[63:46] Okay. So, now I have to clean this up.
[63:54] All right. So, let's put that in there
[63:56] and see what happens. Hey. Okay. Hey,
[63:58] Paul. How's it going, Paul? Uh, let's
[64:00] see what we got over here. Dashboard.
[64:03] Um, my first vibe coding. Nice. Good
[64:06] catch. That's the the the degenerate
[64:09] case. Oh, it's the Terrence case. We're
[64:11] all We're warm all skips all slots. So
[64:14] spot has never never called and stuck a
[64:16] flag. Fix only flip the flag when at
[64:17] least one slot actually gets re rebooted
[64:22] work.
[64:26] Oh, thanks Dave. David, thank you so
[64:29] much over on LinkedIn.
[64:32] Uh
[64:46] Just nuke the the content of acquire.
[64:48] Ask it to reset all instances in case of
[64:50] a blueprint change.
[65:01] Oh, Aanessa is giving me some direction
[65:03] over there on YouTube saying
[65:06] uh nuke the contents of a choir. I have
[65:08] to look at a choir here.
[65:13] All right. Should I acquire?
[65:24] I didn't see a thing of the choir here.
[65:34] Oh, right there. Did I spell it right?
[65:36] Oh, I didn't put C. I'm an idiot.
[65:52] Okay, that's interesting. Okay. Um,
[65:59] okay. So,
[66:02] do that and get the thing happening and
[66:04] then I think maybe what I'll do is try
[66:06] to just take those comments and plunk
[66:09] them in.
[66:10] Client is
[66:15] client three things waiting for the next
[66:17] pool to reconcile. Let me read your
[66:18] immediate pool status refer to save
[66:20] results. Okay, so just see what that
[66:22] does.
[66:42] All right. So, read scripts. Did my
[66:45] music not start up again? No, of course
[66:47] not. All the time.
[66:54] What's happening with the tunes?
[67:07] I'm not hearing it. But
[67:10] you guys hearing the music? Okay. Okay,
[67:12] cool. I don't know. I don't know what
[67:14] happened there, but
[67:21] there it is. Okay. Oh, it's probably
[67:22] just between songs.
[67:26] Yeah, it was just between songs. Okay.
[67:28] So, let's try this now. So, I have that.
[67:32] I'm going to save. I'm going to change
[67:34] the environment dashboard. Oh, I'm first
[67:36] I'm just going to hit save,
[67:39] right? And this should tell me.
[67:43] Okay, so that's started a new process.
[67:45] Whatever. Warm and ready. Come back.
[67:48] Save. Already warm. Okay, so that fixes
[67:51] that issue.
[67:53] Okay, so that fixes that issue. I'm
[67:55] going to commit that and then I'm going
[67:57] to come back and look at
[67:58] >> Oh, you made a wise choice, my friend.
[67:59] >> Oh, thanks for the follow. Appreciate
[68:01] you. I'm I'm I'm gonna commit this and
[68:03] then we're going to come back and look
[68:04] at what Atanas was saying over on
[68:06] YouTube. He's saying that we don't need
[68:08] the contents of acquire. Um and maybe
[68:12] that let's look and see what else is in
[68:16] our plan for poor reliability.
[68:52] Okay.
[68:54] Okay, that's done. So, instead of doing
[68:56] slice B, where am I at with context? I'm
[68:58] going to What? What did he say here? I'm
[69:00] just going to take this.
[69:03] I'm going to literally take his comments
[69:07] that I'm going to drop them in. Oh, no,
[69:10] no, no. I'm not going to do that. I'm
[69:11] gonna format them
[69:15] to the bottom here like this.
[69:27] come up with a
[69:30] tracer
[69:32] bullet based plan
[69:36] to let's see what this does. plan to
[69:38] just n the contents require it
[69:43] and and reset all this as
[69:47] okay. Put that in there.
[69:51] Okay, let's copy that and paste. There
[69:55] we go. We'll do that. You see, this is
[69:58] why we work so well because Atton is
[70:01] very smart. I am not. So, he just tells
[70:04] me to do this and then I tell AI to do
[70:06] the same thing. Uh
[70:10] uh yes. So Paul, the idea right now for
[70:13] for director or WP director is that in
[70:17] your blueprint
[70:19] um
[70:21] so
[70:22] right now the UI doesn't doesn't account
[70:26] for the being able to upload a plugin or
[70:29] provide a URL, but that's easily done
[70:31] because you can do that in in in
[70:33] blueprint. Um, for the content, you can
[70:36] you can pass a WXR import like a URL.
[70:40] So, you can do that for sure, 100%. Um,
[70:43] I really want to expand on the plugins
[70:46] and the theme syncs. Like right now,
[70:48] there's a bit of it's a it's a it's
[70:51] totally janky, but like you could it's
[70:53] just based on slug. So, you can put
[70:55] whatever slug in there and it'll try to
[70:57] add that. And that's not that's not good
[70:59] at all. So, what I'm going to do is hit
[71:00] the the
[71:02] I'm going to make this uh searchable.
[71:04] So, like for example, if you were to say
[71:06] I want to install Yoast and you type
[71:07] Yoast, that won't work because that's
[71:09] not what the slug name of that
[71:11] particular plugin is. It it so your your
[71:13] blueprint will fail. It won't load
[71:15] because it can't load a plugin that
[71:17] doesn't exist. So, there is work to to
[71:19] be done to to to
[71:21] get that um in place. But the idea will
[71:24] be that you can configure the
[71:26] environment in any way that you want. um
[71:29] in any way the blueprint sorry that uh
[71:31] the playground blueprints uh support
[71:41] says I he says have you seen war games
[71:45] maybe I shouldn't have used nuke with AI
[71:48] yeah maybe maybe not so let's see what
[71:51] it says here okay uh okay so let's let's
[71:55] read it here's here's the tracer bullet
[71:57] plan each slice ships independently.
[71:59] Outcome dumb acquire.
[72:02] Acquire no longer knows about
[72:03] blueprints. Just handles a warm slot. Um
[72:06] I'm going to write this actually I'm
[72:08] Yes. Yes. Uh save this plan.
[72:12] Uh and then while it's doing that, I'll
[72:14] read it. Uh outcome
[72:18] replace body of a choir with any slides
[72:21] warm. Okay. Else boot promise then
[72:23] return step one else warm up.
[72:27] Reboot the first act did not act after
[72:28] slot and return it. Delete the hash
[72:31] compare the matching boot race matching.
[72:34] Yeah. And the pool expansion branch.
[72:36] Give the blueprint parameter for now so
[72:38] callers don't change. Pass it to oop.
[72:41] Sorry. Where' that go?
[72:53] Reset all blueprints on change. Save.
[72:55] Reset blueprints. kills and reboots
[72:57] every non-active slot unconditionally.
[72:59] Yeah, I think that's probably the right
[73:00] way to do it, right? Uh, reset entire
[73:03] pool save. Okay, drop blueprint hashing
[73:06] bookkeeping slot no longer carries
[73:07] blueprint hash pending hash hash
[73:08] blueprint is gone.
[73:17] The sacrifice one optimization today. If
[73:19] you save the same blueprint, slots
[73:20] already worn with it or reused after
[73:22] this plan. Save reboots everything.
[73:26] That's an annoying. We can read oneline
[73:28] task check.
[73:29] I think I think we need to
[73:41] now I think we need to keep so so part
[73:44] of what Atton was doing he's just he's
[73:47] commenting in in in YouTube here was we
[73:50] the idea of like the pool will auto
[73:52] expand. So if if you have two like so we
[73:54] start with two instances and if we need
[73:56] a third one it will actually it'll um it
[74:00] it'll create a new one. Right. So I
[74:04] think we should keep I think we should
[74:05] keep the pool expansion stuff. Uh I'm
[74:09] going to just I'm going to say no. No.
[74:11] I'd like
[74:14] No, we want to keep the pool expansion
[74:20] in place. So I think think that's good.
[74:22] I I I don't want to
[74:27] yeah is saying that like we could start
[74:29] by just booting five instances but that
[74:31] could hurt you know performance and CPU
[74:33] usage and all that stuff. So I think we
[74:34] want to I think that's a good thing to
[74:36] keep. I think we want to just make I
[74:39] think the the idea is that we just want
[74:40] to make it simpler to uh
[74:45] doesn't need Okay, so we don't need to
[74:47] hash log it logic. The other thing that
[74:49] I'm not super sold on is that
[74:53] I I think I want to keep the hash logic
[74:55] because if we've already if the
[74:58] blueprint
[75:01] if this if the blueprint hasn't changed,
[75:03] there's no need to to kill all the
[75:04] instances and bring them back, right?
[75:10] I think I think that makes sense. like I
[75:12] don't want to um
[75:16] uh
[75:18] we don't want to um kill the instances
[75:23] when the blueprint hasn't
[75:28] changed, right? Because then it's just
[75:30] needless turning.
[75:34] All right. And I think the also also the
[75:36] thing that we should do is we should
[75:38] disable the save button unless there's a
[75:41] change.
[75:46] Now, did I just undo everything that we
[75:48] just did here?
[76:01] Um,
[76:03] show me the plan again and ask any
[76:09] and um
[76:36] All right. So, two var two invariants we
[76:39] keep. Pull expansion. Yeah. So grows the
[76:40] pool. Initial slots up to max amountful.
[76:43] No op saves. Don't kill warm slots.
[77:06] Oh, I see. Okay, that's sorry. We're
[77:08] we're having a conversation through
[77:10] YouTube so that that none of you in chat
[77:12] can see. So he's saying we can detect
[77:14] whether blueprint has changed when we
[77:16] hit save. Yeah, it has change. If it has
[77:19] changed, then there's no way for any
[77:20] instance to have that blueprint. No,
[77:21] that's true. But what if we're running
[77:23] what if we're running uh a preview?
[77:29] So I I I mean I think we can do the
[77:31] opposite and make it so
[77:34] Yeah. Okay. So, so you think we
[77:38] shouldn't care about the hash thing
[77:39] then.
[77:59] Yeah. Okay. So it's asking when the pool
[78:02] is full and nothing more which shot
[78:04] which nothing is warm or rebooting.
[78:11] Today it picks first non-active. That's
[78:13] fine. Yeah.
[78:16] Active slot during blueprint change.
[78:17] When you save mid recording, the active
[78:18] slot is running with the old blueprint.
[78:20] Two options for when the recording
[78:22] finishes. Always reboot the release and
[78:24] on release the current blueprint. Always
[78:27] boot full stop. Simpler. No flag.
[78:44] Asus is saying that if he wants me if he
[78:46] wants to take if if if I don't want to
[78:48] deal with this, he's happy to take it.
[78:50] I'm fine to work on it. I don't um
[78:53] I I feel like you probably know more how
[78:56] you want this to work than than than I
[78:58] do, but I'm happy I'm happy to give it a
[79:00] shot here.
[79:03] Race when save fires acquire engines in
[79:04] midfight. Just claim a warm spot to
[79:06] save. Okay. Uh
[79:15] so I think I think
[79:18] I think it needs to take the first slot.
[79:20] Uh for number one, uh pick the first
[79:25] nonactive
[79:28] uh active. Okay.
[79:30] During blueprint change,
[79:34] you save mid-recording. The active slot
[79:36] is running with the old blueprint. Two
[79:37] options when the recording finishes. I
[79:39] think we go option
[79:42] option
[79:44] B. after reporting finishes.
[79:49] I think we're we're going to go always
[79:51] reboot on release.
[79:54] Oops.
[80:07] Oh my god.
[80:16] Next one is
[80:27] race when save fires while acquire is in
[80:30] midflight. If acquires just claimed a
[80:32] warm slot but saves reset pool runs a
[80:34] tick later. The out of slot keeps the
[80:36] old blue run acceptable. Do you want to
[80:38] save?
[80:44] I'm going to say acceptable.
[80:47] Hope it knows all this. And then uh yes,
[80:51] that is the name of the file. All right,
[80:55] we're going to do this.
[81:01] So, my feeling on on this is like I
[81:04] don't think we need I think we should
[81:06] disable the button after it's been saved
[81:09] and only enable it. The save button that
[81:12] is uh because
[81:15] we can check if anything's saved or
[81:19] changed, I believe. Or can we? I don't
[81:21] know.
[81:22] Um, it just seems I think I think we
[81:24] need to disable the button until
[81:26] something's been changed because there's
[81:27] been so many things that um um Okay. Uh
[81:31] how can we disable the save button until
[81:37] there is a change in the settings.
[81:45] I think that's what we need to do
[81:47] because otherwise well first of all it's
[81:50] good it's good use UX because there
[81:52] there are so many things in here like it
[81:55] so it if you do this and I have this and
[81:57] I whatever I I go and I put in 10 pieces
[82:00] of content then I close this and I go
[82:02] over here and I don't change anything
[82:04] and this is always enabled it's going to
[82:06] be sort of like I don't know if I need
[82:07] to actually save this or not. So, I
[82:09] think what we should do is make this
[82:11] disabled until this is saved, until it
[82:13] changes is in here. And then that way
[82:16] people can't
[82:18] resave
[82:19] a blueprint that's not been saved,
[82:22] that's not been modified. That's that's
[82:24] sort of the idea, right?
[82:33] Yes. Make the edit.
[82:43] I'm going offline. Good to see you,
[82:46] Atines. We'll see you tomorrow and you
[82:48] can uh we can talk about it, but if you
[82:50] want to take over on this, that's fine.
[82:52] I'm I I'm I'm going to continue messing
[82:54] with it for the rest of the day to see
[82:56] how far I can get. But you're welcome to
[82:57] just take a look at this code and be
[82:58] like, "This is junk. Delete."
[83:02] Thanks a lot, man.
[83:04] Okay, I'm going to do that.
[83:13] Okay, save and not disabled until
[83:15] compiled blueprints differ from the last
[83:17] saved app blueprint. Okay, so let's
[83:20] select all, delete. Yeah, that's that's
[83:23] the correct way of handling most of my
[83:25] code. Okay, Mr. Silver, welcome to the
[83:29] stream. Thanks for hanging out. Okay.
[83:31] So, let's go in here. Uh, okay. So, I'm
[83:35] If I go in here and I make a change to
[83:37] content and I go boop boop. There we go.
[83:39] So, now we have a save. So, that goes
[83:42] back. Very cool. Very cool. Going to
[83:45] reset that.
[83:56] Oh, okay.
[84:00] Um, okay.
[84:02] When I reset,
[84:05] um, the save button
[84:08] stays enabled. Resetting should
[84:10] automatically save the blueprint, but
[84:12] also disable the save button once that
[84:14] save has completed.
[84:18] Okay, so we're going to do that. This is
[84:19] so much fun coding like this.
[84:23] Cool. All right, somebody was linking
[84:25] some stuff. What was it? I don't think I
[84:27] want to click on work. Is that
[84:28] workshituation.com?
[84:32] Where's my save browser window over
[84:34] here? Uh, I have one
[84:38] window over here. Quick look.
[84:44] Although it's not going to help anything
[84:45] if this is like
[84:47] not the only one.
[84:50] Oh,
[84:52] this is funny.
[85:01] What does this say? You know what this
[85:03] reminds me of? Um, co-orker. Is it
[85:05] called cooworkers from hell or
[85:09] this is cool?
[85:18] Anyways, nice. I I I like that one.
[85:25] Okay. So, let's let's just get that
[85:27] cleaned up and then
[85:37] not co-workers from hell. I can't
[85:38] remember what it was called, but it was
[85:40] it was a website that was kind of like
[85:42] that. But I like that one a lot. That's
[85:43] very cool. Okay. So, what does it say?
[85:45] Computiz.
[85:47] Okay. Saves an over version to
[85:50] now it was all Okay, so let's let's
[85:53] Uh,
[85:57] so let's refresh this page. So what does
[85:59] it look like now when I go on here? So
[86:01] okay,
[86:06] let's test it. So that should save.
[86:07] That's weird. Okay, that's weird. All
[86:09] right,
[86:12] I need to fix that because the default
[86:14] blueprint there is a default uh
[86:16] blueprint. Okay, so this this shouldn't
[86:17] be this should not be set as custom now.
[86:20] That's a weird state. Okay. So, let's
[86:23] just do this and then I will hit save.
[86:25] It's going to do that. If I want to
[86:26] reset, it should take it back to custom
[86:28] and it should that should after it's
[86:31] finished, it should uh
[86:36] button should all be disabled while
[86:39] Yeah.
[86:52] What? This doesn't.
[87:13] This isn't
[87:16] working. The This isn't This isn't
[87:19] working.
[87:21] When I hit reset, it should use the
[87:23] default blueprint.json
[87:25] file um
[87:28] to populate the generated one. Uh and
[87:32] reset and save
[87:34] should be uh disabled at that point
[87:37] because it's the default values.
[87:39] Nothing's been changed.
[87:43] So the blueprints work like this. We
[87:46] have sort of like this is what I call
[87:47] like the default uh blueprint which is
[87:50] actually a little bit out out of date.
[87:52] So this this should be the one that that
[87:54] gets automatically loaded when it's when
[87:56] this when the site loads, right? And
[87:58] then when we make changes, there's a
[88:00] generated blueprint. So this is being
[88:02] changed all the time. So it moves, you
[88:05] know, stuff does stuff stuff is done is
[88:08] is kind of what I'm saying.
[88:10] Uh yeah, don't say that. So we're going
[88:14] to see if we can fix this stuff and then
[88:17] it's just after 12 so I'm going to
[88:18] probably drop off soon. You're right.
[88:20] The approach was over complicated.
[88:21] Cleaner fix compare on form state not
[88:23] uncompiled JSON that size the keyword
[88:26] and reset and go back to writing little
[88:29] literal default to disk. I'll handle
[88:30] revert
[88:33] revert keeper form state. Okay, cool.
[88:34] All right.
[88:37] I wonder if my context is getting a
[88:38] little
[88:41] full. Let's see.
[89:02] Okay, let's see.
[89:08] when there's no default. All right,
[89:09] let's refresh this. Now,
[89:15] I'm going to I'm going to restart the
[89:17] server. That's what I'm going to do.
[89:19] Restart the server.
[89:22] Right. So, that's that's interesting
[89:25] because why is it saying custom? When a
[89:29] server starts, it should always use the
[89:32] default.
[89:33] Or should it?
[89:36] Maybe it shouldn't.
[89:38] Going to reset that.
[89:44] It's actually fine if it doesn't cuz
[89:46] when if you if you think of this as an
[89:48] application when you open it up, it may
[89:51] not always Okay. Okay, that's cool. It
[89:53] may not always like if it just remembers
[89:56] the last thing, the last blueprint and
[89:59] marks it as custom. But I think I think
[90:01] that's okay. I think that state's fine
[90:03] actually like now that I think about it.
[90:09] Okay. Okay. All right. That I like. So
[90:13] So now we can't save this again so we
[90:15] don't get in into that weird roundtpping
[90:17] stuff. Um
[90:19] on save. Okay. I'm going to say commit
[90:24] this. Boom. And then I'm going to get
[90:26] back to the pool stuff and see if I can
[90:28] fix it because now it's just cuz Atinus
[90:30] is like gone. Yeah. Yeah, he doesn't
[90:31] know what he's doing. No, he's not. He's
[90:33] a wonderful guy. I'm I'm being
[90:36] facicious. Um, but I want to I I want to
[90:38] impress him.
[90:41] I want him to think I'm smart.
[90:44] Okay.
[90:46] Now that we have disabled the save
[90:49] button for when for in instances when um
[90:53] there is no change to the blueprint, can
[90:56] we simplify
[90:58] um the plan uh to take that into
[91:02] account?
[91:08] How much fun is I just get to talk
[91:11] if and that's that's just that's that's
[91:15] how I roll.
[91:43] Okay,
[91:52] I don't think we need to worry about
[91:53] that.
[91:54] Okay, with the UI getting save behind
[91:57] real forts, it's no op save can't reach
[91:59] the service. Hash check is in res no
[92:01] longer load bearings warm slot take it
[92:03] else slot. Okay. No hash compare. No.
[92:07] Okay. Well, fine. Okay. Reset. Pull on
[92:10] save. Reset. Always reboot on release.
[92:12] Replace. Okay. Cool.
[92:16] Drop the blueprint hash book entirely.
[92:18] Okay. That That's cool. That's cool.
[92:20] Okay. Uh yes, we'll save that plan. That
[92:23] sounds good.
[92:34] So the only issue there is that if we
[92:35] hit it with uh curl or some other API,
[92:40] we need to reboot the pool. But I don't
[92:43] I don't think we need to really worry
[92:45] about that right now.
[92:48] Okay. So let's let's do
[92:54] Oh, that's still doing its thing. Okay.
[92:56] Oh, okay. Yes. Boom.
[92:59] Okay. So, we're going to do that. I'm
[93:00] going to go ahead and I'm going to clear
[93:01] the context here. And then I'm going to
[93:03] say plans
[93:05] uh
[93:06] pool simplify acquire do slice
[93:10] one.
[93:12] See what
[93:20] all those uh users out there for um it
[93:25] uh like like clone users. At what point
[93:27] do you clear your context? Like how far
[93:29] do you go into it? Like is is there a
[93:32] point where you start to get jittery?
[93:33] Cuz I get super jittery on some of it.
[93:35] Um like if it's just going on too long,
[93:39] you know, 70 to 80k. Okay.
[93:42] So, all right. Is that based on like the
[93:47] 1 million context or
[93:57] I I guess it depends on which um I guess
[94:00] it depends on which um model you're
[94:02] you're using. See what this does.
[94:06] Okay, so this I feel like I hope there's
[94:09] less. It looks like we're taking out
[94:11] more than we're adding. So that's good.
[94:13] Let's do that.
[94:18] Right. Yeah, I'm pretty spoiled.
[94:21] Automatic is very bullish on AI. So we
[94:25] get to do a lot of cool stuff. All
[94:28] right.
[94:30] Run, run, run on the same blueprint
[94:31] reuses warm slot. Concurrent runs
[94:34] between initial slot spin up to my slot.
[94:37] Save with new blueprint requires all.
[94:48] Okay, let's let's test this. So, what
[94:50] does it run? Okay, it always re reuses
[94:52] the same slots. Okay, so here we go. So,
[94:54] if I go I'm going to do really short
[94:56] one. I'm going to go to uh go to the
[94:58] plugins page.
[95:02] All right. So, that should navigate to
[95:04] the plugins page. I should be able to
[95:06] preview this using warm one.
[95:11] Goes plugins page
[95:14] and done.
[95:16] Preview.
[95:27] Why is it
[95:58] I don't I don't like I don't actually
[96:00] like how it's doing that. But maybe
[96:01] that's in the next slice. Let's see
[96:03] what's what's in the
[96:12] races all and falls back to rebooting
[96:14] after slot.
[96:17] Okay, so what does slice do two do
[96:19] again? Can't remember.
[96:50] thing is I don't but I I I I guess the
[96:54] only way to do it is Oh, I don't know.
[96:56] Okay,
[96:58] I'm gonna get through all this now.
[97:04] Uh I'm going to commit this actually
[97:05] first. Commit this.
[97:08] Commit slice one. Make this work. Okay,
[97:12] I'm going to have to jump off sooner
[97:14] than later. But uh yeah, so this is this
[97:16] is it. And then I'm hoping uh you know
[97:18] the end of the month is kind of like
[97:20] when um this uh Radical Speed Month kind
[97:24] of wraps up. So we'll see where where we
[97:25] can end up. So that's why we're building
[97:26] so quickly, getting things done as fast
[97:28] as we can. But um I think I'm going to
[97:32] probably drop off now, but thanks so
[97:35] much for hanging out with me, Mr. Adam
[97:36] Silver. Thank you for hanging out with
[97:38] me. Uh if you haven't already, go and
[97:41] subscribe to his podcast, which I'll
[97:44] drop in chat right here. Um, and uh,
[97:47] yeah, I'll talk to everybody
[97:51] uh, not next week because I will be on a
[97:54] plane, but uh, probably the week after.
[97:56] So, thanks for joining me. It's always
[97:58] always a good time. And I will talk to
[98:00] you all later. Bye. ๐Ÿ“„ **Full text:** ![[Full Document Contents/Articles/Radical Speed Month Challenge Shipping WP Director Features.md|Radical Speed Month Challenge: Shipping WP Director Features by YouTube]] ## Highlights - down here there's a little indicator saying what what's happening. So and what's actually happening behind the scenes is it's old process. It's it's killing the old old um playground instances and then spinning up new ones. So now if I were to say delete this step and and and and run this I should just start at the new post page. And there we go.
