## ๐ Summary
- Rocket Insight is a WP Rocket feature that enables page-by-page performance monitoring directly within WordPress dashboard
- Free tier allows 3 pages tracked with 3 tests per month; paid upgrade ($4.99/month) unlocks more pages and continuous monitoring
- Key benefit is identifying performance issues on specific revenue-generating pages (sales, affiliate, services) rather than just homepage
- Tool reduces dependency on external performance testing platforms like GTmetrix by providing integrated reporting
- Performance monitoring feature tracks changes over time but requires paid subscription
## ๐ Main Content
Rocket Insight addresses a critical gap in WordPress performance optimization: monitoring individual page performance rather than just overall site metrics. While many site owners test their homepage performance, revenue-generating pages like product pages, service offerings, or affiliate content may have different performance characteristics that directly impact conversions.
The tool integrates GTmetrix-style reporting directly into the WordPress dashboard, eliminating the need for separate logins and providing centralized performance data. The free tier provides basic functionality for small sites, while the paid tier targets agencies and larger sites requiring comprehensive monitoring.
The presenter emphasizes this is particularly valuable for SEO agencies managing multiple client sites, as it enables systematic monitoring of business-critical pages rather than relying on periodic manual testing.

## ๐ฏ Conclusion
Rocket Insight represents a significant workflow improvement for WordPress performance optimization by integrating page-level monitoring directly into the dashboard. The tool addresses the critical oversight of focusing only on homepage performance while revenue-generating pages may have different optimization needs.
For agencies and serious site owners, the $4.99 monthly cost is justified by eliminating external tool dependencies and enabling systematic monitoring of business-critical pages. The free tier provides adequate functionality for small sites to evaluate the approach.
The key insight is shifting from site-level to page-level performance thinking, recognizing that different pages serve different functions and may require targeted optimization strategies.

[00:00] Hey guys, it's Davs here. Welcome to
[00:02] this YouTube channel. I'm super excited
[00:03] to have you join me in this video. In
[00:04] this one, I want to walk you through an
[00:06] amazing feature inside of WP Rocket. As
[00:10] a matter of fact, if you want to
[00:11] optimize your WordPress website, if you
[00:14] ask me, WP Rocket is the best solution
[00:16] for you right now.
[00:23] And I have just done a recent dedicated
[00:25] tutorial working you WP Rocket. But
[00:28] there's a part that I did not really
[00:30] spend good time on in that video and I
[00:33] find that future now amazing is
[00:36] something you need to pay attention to
[00:39] in case you're using WP Rocket. So if
[00:41] you're a user, this video is for you. If
[00:44] you are still in that space trying to
[00:45] optimize your WordPress website, I would
[00:47] advise that you pause this video first,
[00:49] go watch that tutorial and see exactly
[00:51] the walkthrough of WP Rocket and how you
[00:53] can use it to optimize your own
[00:55] WordPress website. speed is extremely
[00:58] important. But in this one, I want to
[00:59] show you uh this amazing feature here
[01:02] from Rocket WP Rocket, which is Rocket
[01:06] Insight. So on my screen here, you can
[01:08] see here just on my WP Rocket dashboard.
[01:11] So if you have WP Rocket, if you have
[01:12] not installed, just go to your account,
[01:14] download the plug-in, and just install
[01:17] it into your WordPress website. I want
[01:18] to believe you know that, right? So now
[01:20] let's continue. So you can see here I
[01:22] have one tracked page here and the score
[01:25] for this page here is 99. And you can
[01:27] see I can add more pages to this. This
[01:31] is not an entirely free solution. But
[01:34] let me show you exactly what this is
[01:35] about. So right now if you come here to
[01:37] Rocket Insight, you can analyze up to
[01:41] three pages and run three test per
[01:44] month. And then we can then upgrade. And
[01:46] you can see from here there's an unlock
[01:48] your site through true performance. Uh
[01:51] you can just uh get this started for
[01:53] $4.99 per month. You might be asking
[01:57] right now that why do I need to pay
[01:59] another $5 per month to see my WordPress
[02:04] website inside? Let me show you exactly
[02:06] how powerful this is. So right now it's
[02:09] one thing to run a general test on your
[02:13] WordPress website. Like if I pick the
[02:16] domain URL of my WordPress website, I go
[02:18] to GTmetrics or go to all these
[02:21] performance uh platform and test I
[02:24] sincerely need to understand how every
[02:26] page of my WordPress website is doing.
[02:29] That's when I'm doing serious SEO. Your
[02:31] homepage can be doing well, but one of
[02:33] your blog page is not doing well. One of
[02:35] your maybe e-commerce page is not doing
[02:37] well. uh depending on whatever you're
[02:39] doing on your WordPress website and
[02:41] that's why this is extremely important
[02:43] and most for most website what really
[02:46] bring you the money is not your home
[02:48] pages other pages where you sell your
[02:50] services where you do affilate marketing
[02:52] where you do all those good stuff and
[02:54] you need something to help you track
[02:56] those pages and then analyze them for
[02:59] you that's extremely important and
[03:01] that's why this is extremely important
[03:02] if I run an SEO agency and I manage SEO
[03:06] for my client I will pay serious
[03:07] attention to this uh this is important
[03:10] right now. From here I can see my home
[03:12] page that has been tracked. I can retest
[03:13] it for me to be able to see that. And
[03:15] then if I click this I should be able to
[03:18] see the report on GTMetrics. And you can
[03:21] see what the page is doing. I can
[03:22] potentially see this page is fine. It's
[03:24] doing well. But I can also want to uh
[03:28] maybe optimize it further. From here,
[03:30] I'll be able to come down to my content
[03:32] delivery network for me to be able to
[03:34] see uh what's going on there and all of
[03:37] those good good stuff. So, you can see
[03:39] here this is loading in 762
[03:42] uh milliseconds and then I can check and
[03:45] check and just optimize my website
[03:47] however I want. The reason why this
[03:49] extremely important is that you don't
[03:51] get to worry yourself about having a
[03:54] paid account with GTMetrics. So, this
[03:56] will cover for that. And if you are in
[03:59] the process of optimizing website, you
[04:01] would know that GTMetric is quite
[04:04] limited at the free. You would need to
[04:05] always maybe pay more for you to be able
[04:07] to have access to it. So right now,
[04:09] let's just say I want to track another
[04:12] page on my website, right? So let me go
[04:15] to my pages. Uh let's go to all pages
[04:18] maybe in a new tab. Let's see all of the
[04:20] pages I have. So for this website here,
[04:22] I have my homepage and I have an about
[04:24] page, blog, contact. Now let's say I
[04:26] want to track my about page. So let's
[04:28] copy this link and then let's come back
[04:30] here and then I can paste that here
[04:34] and then I can add this page
[04:37] immediately. I did that. You can see
[04:39] that I have about page here and it's
[04:41] analyzing this page and you can see this
[04:43] is running. I'm going to just give this
[04:45] some few seconds to be able to finish
[04:47] up. Okay, after 5 seconds you can see
[04:49] here that the about page is ready and
[04:52] then I also have a 99% score. Wow, good
[04:55] stuff here. My website here is highly
[04:57] optimized. So in your case, you'll be
[05:00] able to see the result of every of your
[05:02] page and then you'll know which one is
[05:04] doing well and which one is not doing
[05:06] good. You can always retest this any
[05:08] time and then you can also just click to
[05:10] see the report of that page and it will
[05:13] bring you down here. You're going to see
[05:14] the time that this was done and then
[05:17] you're going to see the location of the
[05:18] test server. You're going to see top
[05:20] issues affecting your website here. You
[05:22] can check all. You can check for FCP,
[05:24] LCP. You can see all this good good
[05:26] stuff here. And you can also switch
[05:28] things up here. You can go to your
[05:30] performance for you to be able to see
[05:31] that structure, your crocs, uh the
[05:34] waterfall. This is loading. This will
[05:37] give you more insight into what is
[05:39] taking time to load on the about page.
[05:42] So if you come down here, you'll be able
[05:43] to see JS the CSS. You see how uh fast
[05:47] or slow that they load. like this. Right
[05:49] now, you can see that this image here is
[05:51] taking so long time to load. This is
[05:54] loading in 1.5 seconds. So, this is an
[05:57] image I might want to check and see if
[05:59] it's something that I can improve uh the
[06:02] optimization of these images for me to
[06:04] be able to make them a little bit
[06:05] lighter or just maybe save them in
[06:07] nextgen format and do all those kind of
[06:09] good good stuff. So this is extremely
[06:11] important if you're trying to optimize
[06:13] your website and if you have a website
[06:16] that have tons and tons of pages. Uh
[06:19] this would be fantastic at the free
[06:22] using just uh uh WP Rocket you can
[06:25] optimize three pages which is quite very
[06:27] limited if you have a very bulky
[06:30] website. And finally, let me show you
[06:31] one more feature here that might take
[06:32] away your fancy and that might encourage
[06:34] you to upgrade to their uh launch offer
[06:38] package here and it's this performance
[06:42] monitoring. As you can see here, I don't
[06:44] have access to using this until I
[06:46] upgrade uh my plan here. So, if you have
[06:49] this, this will help you do performance
[06:51] monitoring on every of your page. You'll
[06:53] be able to know when there's a change.
[06:55] Uh so the performance monitoring here is
[06:57] extremely important because it gives you
[06:59] every insight to whatever changes is
[07:02] happening on your page and I can't wait
[07:05] for me to jump into this tutorial. It
[07:07] will be my next WP Rocket tutorial. I
[07:10] want you to check out for that. I will
[07:12] be subscribing to this and I'll be
[07:13] showing you exactly how to get this
[07:15] done. But this is a teaser for anybody
[07:18] using WP Rocket right now and you are
[07:21] not using this test for free and see
[07:23] exactly what you can do with it. and you
[07:25] might just be blown away uh for you to
[07:27] just upgrade your plan to experiment
[07:30] with their rocket inside. I find this a
[07:34] lot interesting for me to be able to uh
[07:37] track my pages because it's extremely
[07:39] important and I can have access to every
[07:42] detail about those pages here inside of
[07:44] my WordPress dashboard. I don't need to
[07:46] always log into a separate tool for me
[07:48] to be able to see all of those good good
[07:50] stuff. So that's extremely important and
[07:53] I will advise that you check this out
[07:56] and then let me know your results in the
[07:59] comment section. Have you tried the paid
[08:01] option here for Rocket Insight before
[08:03] and you want to share one or two in the
[08:05] comment section. I'll looking forward to
[08:07] hearing that from you. But go check
[08:08] Rocket Inside out guys is a fantastic
[08:10] tool. I'll be doing another tutorial
[08:12] about this when I upgrade my plan from
[08:15] here. And until then I'll see you in
[08:17] that tutorial. Take care of yourself and
[08:18] don't forget to like this video and
[08:20] subscribe to see more awesome tutorials
[08:22] like this on this channel. I remain
[08:23] dabs. I'll see you again. Bye for now.
