([Location 1422](https://readwise.io/to_kindle?action=open&asin=B08ZJZM57W&location=1422)) - This phase is all about being nimble, and constantly experimenting with new engagement ideas. ([Location 1423](https://readwise.io/to_kindle?action=open&asin=B08ZJZM57W&location=1423)) - develop a compelling social identity and bring anyone who shares that identity together consistently over time. ([Location 1542](https://readwise.io/to_kindle?action=open&asin=B08ZJZM57W&location=1542)) - over time, your members' level of commitment will increase. ([Location 2025](https://readwise.io/to_kindle?action=open&asin=B08ZJZM57W&location=2025)) - People need to feel seen if they're going to participate. ([Location 3676](https://readwise.io/to_kindle?action=open&asin=B08ZJZM57W&location=3676)) - Just be a person who's there to serve the community, and hopefully give your members a lot of value. ([Location 3738](https://readwise.io/to_kindle?action=open&asin=B08ZJZM57W&location=3738)) - Positivity is contagious. Your energy, whatever it is, is contagious. How you act in your community will be how your community members act. ([Location 3751](https://readwise.io/to_kindle?action=open&asin=B08ZJZM57W&location=3751)) - That's why self-care is so important for community builders. You need to take care of yourself in order to take care of others. If your cup is empty, and you're giving energy you don't have to your community, you will burn out. Take care of yourself and recharge so that you can bring your best self to your community, and set a positive example.
