## ๐ Summary:
This short instructional video demonstrates how to create and send a signature document within the GoDaddy Hub. It walks through creating a project, adding signers, uploading a contract, placing signature/name/initial fields, sending for e-signature, completing your own signature, and viewing the client signing process. After both parties sign, the Hub allows downloading the signed document and a notarization certificate.
## ๐ Main Content:
The video provides a step-by-step workflow inside the GoDaddy Hub to streamline contract execution for web design/development projects:
- Start in the Hub, navigate to Projects, and create a new project with a client and due date.
- Use the Electronic Signature section to upload your contract or proposal.
- Add yourself and your client as signers; multiple signers are supported.
- Place fields: name, e-signature, and initials are supported; dates must be typed in the document itself.
- Preview and send. You sign first, then the client receives an email.
- Client agrees to terms, adds name/initial/signature, previews, and signs.
- After completion, both can view and download the signed document and the notarization certificate; the Hub records the status and retains the original file.

## ๐ฃ๏ธ Paraphrase:
- Original idea: โIt only supports e-signatures, initials, and the name; the date isnโt an automatic field.โ Paraphrase: The form tools let you add names, signatures, and initials, but dates arenโt dynamic, so type the date directly in the document.
- Original idea: โAfter both parties sign, you can open the document, view info, and download the notarization certificate.โ Paraphrase: Once everyone has signed, the Hub marks the process complete and lets you access the signed file, audit details, and a downloadable notarization certificate.

[Music]foreign[Music]we're going to talk about how you canuse the Hub to send contracts orproposals and get your clients toelectronically sign them and they'lleven be notarized so once you're in thehub you'll want to navigate over toprojectsonce you're in a project if you alreadyhave one created great but if not youwant to create a brand new project youmight have some templates you can pickfrom if you've created them in the past
but we'll create just a brand newprojectnew client project it's going to be dueSeptember 30th there's a quickturnaround I can choose my client fromthe listthese are all my example clients so letme just go ahead and do that then I'lllaunch the projectfrom here I can start creating tasks anddo all the great things that come withthe project management but I'm going tojump right into what this lesson isabout so towards the bottom there's thiselectronic signature section
if you click it it'll load up if it'syour first time selecting it you mightget asked a couple questions around likeyour what location you want to have itfrom well once you're in here you caneither drag and drop a file to sign orjust click browseI have a sample website design templateI can use here that I got onlineand then if you're the only signer whichdoesn't make sense but you can still do
that you can do so here you can also addadditional signers so I'll add in myAlias JN godaddy.com so I have those twosigners you can have more if you wantbut those are the only two that I needto get those contracts signed and thisproject started so I'll go ahead andclick nextfrom here here's my fake contract it'sgot all the things and stuffs all thelegal things so from here I'd put in thedate so this doesn't have the ability to
set the date automatically inside a likea custom type of field it only supportse-signatures initials and the name so Ijust put in the the date there but it'spretty simple you would just click anddrag over your name or the designer ordeveloper or whoever you may be thereI'll do the e-signature hereyour client that needs to sign this willbe in this pink here so e-signature downlow I can click and drag it around
name can go hereperfect so I have my name my signaturemy client's name my client signature thedate I have there if you need anyinitials you can easily throw them inwherever depending on what you need foryour contract but once you're done youcan go ahead and preview ithere's my contractand the signaturesso now I can click Send now those were
sent off to me from here I can go aheadand get this contract signed and and outof the way just by clicking it open andthen clicking signyou would type in your name initialswill automatically go there you can dojust an e-signature name here if youwant to draw it yourself and be allfancy you can I'm terrible at doing thatso I'm just going to do the e-signaturesand initialread and agree to the terms and clicknextall right and then I would scroll down
to the very bottom my name is alreadyinputted there I can do a signature justby clicking it and then I'll preview andsend and then sign it down here and nowI'm waiting for my client to go aheadand send it overand then I'll look at it from theclient's perspectiveso when your client gets this email tothem they'll get to this screen uh wellthey'll need to agree the termsscroll down they'll scroll down to theareas that you need them to sign
they'll type in their name similarprocess let me just do my opposite namenearly Justinand Jay I've read and agreed I've hitdone I've signed preview and signand sign again they can download thedocument once it's all said and donethe e-signature certificate they canpreview and download the notarizationcertificateum but if you go back to your area youcan see that it has been updated it has
been signed by both parties I can openit up and look at the information I candownload the notarization certificate uhlook at the signed document and actuallylook at the original uploaded filethat's all we have for you for creatinga signature document inside the Hub byGoDaddy Pro we'll see you in the nextlesson[Music], Create a Signature Document in the Hub, GoDaddy Pro, 01gph5j6kb23ztcs83zaeqy2hr.
