Greenwood and we are going to be talking about the Queen of Heaven and this is a conversation we plan to have for like two years and today it's finally happening so Becca I we've been talking about this for so long I'm excited to finally have you on the show welcome back oh thank you so much for having me and I know I mean it's like you've had everything going on we've had so much going on my travel schedule has been crazy and so I'm finally glad to be able to you know to be on to talk about this topic is not something that's spoken [00:00:46] about a lot um it's not something you know it's so funny Sean because I don't want to steal your questions but like how do you get on the topic of the Queen of Heaven and you know I and I'm an intercessor and we and we're also Deliverance ministers we're spiritual prayer warriors prophetic Prayer Warriors and the Lord began to wake me up in the middle of the night it was like in 1994 and in my intercession he had me turn to all of these different scriptures about the Queen of Heaven and had me start studying about the Queen of Heaven and to be honest I don't even really know if I'd really ever heard much talk about the Queen of Heaven until then and so anyway so now here we are all these [00:01:36] years later and have done a lot of study about it a lot of prayer assignments in our nation and in the Nations about this have prayed for individuals you know to see them set free so very honored to be with you today well I've been looking forward to this conversation and this all if I remember correctly we were having pizza with a bunch of our team members from Destiny image and I was talking to you all about how I've been doing all these deliverance and exorcism related interviews and then we got in the topic uh of the Queen of Heaven and honestly I've been immersed in this charismatic Pentecostal Publishing space for over a decade now and that conversation with you at dinner was the first I'd even heard about the Queen of Heaven um and and it came up in the conversation because I was talking about [00:02:22] how uh interviewing a bunch of different Catholic priests who do exorcism Ministry um you know the lady shows up and Mary shows up and then you're like oh then we went down this whole Rabbit Trail and I was like man we gotta do an interview about this um so you said if God was waking you up leading you to scripture obviously that we saw a couple of different books out of Peter Wagner's Ministry in this space I guess I I'd love to have you set the stage in terms of this theme kind of in our charismatic space like who are the voices that have spoken into this because from my perspective I've talked to you about it I picked up the books at a Wagner Publications uh but other than that I've not really seen a whole lot of people focusing on it yeah you know there really hasn't been um you know back in the prayer movement in the 90s I you know Cindy Jacobs you know uh who [00:03:11] you know did wrote and contributed to those books uh with Peter and several other authors did as well I think uh you know even like Chuck Pierce he did a whole chapter in one of the books really talking about where does this Queen of Heaven come from from ancient worship and practices in ancient culture and you know what is this entity is so fun funny because we'll hear a lot of discussion about Baal the sun god which is great we need to have understanding about that but you hardly ever hear anymore discussion about uh the Queen of Heaven and I know that if this is all right with you because we're going to talk about it I'm going to read a scripture where she is actually called this please do yeah and it gives some other names of what we see of the queen Heaven throughout the [00:04:02] word of God that people will be familiar with um and so but Jeremiah I'm just going to read from Jeremiah 44 15 through 19 and I'm going to read from the Amplified this is just one scripture to give the terminology of the Queen of Heaven that I'm going to read but then there are other names like I said like Ishtar Diana Artemis ashra astarte at you know the at the ash Taurus the asherah polls all of these things that we read about in the word of God are an adaptation manifestation of the Queen of Heaven that we see throughout the word of God but let me start with this scripture first Jeremiah 44 15-19 and I'm reading from the Amplified it says then all the men [00:04:51] who knew that their wives were burning sacrifices to other gods and all the women who were standing by a large Blue group including all the people who were living in Pathos in the land of Egypt answered Jeremiah saying as for the word message that you have spoken to us in the name of the Lord we are not going to listen to you now isn't that I'm going to start teaching isn't this scripture interesting because they're going to explain why they're not listening see this Queen of Heaven whenever it is worshiped or whenever it's given power in someone's life affects the ability for people to be able to hear clearly from the Lord this is literally what they said they and I'm going to say it [00:05:38] again as for the word message that you have spoken to us in the name of the Lord we are not going to listen to to you but rather we will certainly perform every word of the vows we have made to burn sacrifices to the Queen of Heaven and in parentheses in the Amplified it says Ishtar which is a name of the Queen of Heaven and to pour out drink offerings to her just as we ourselves and our forefathers our Kings and our princes did in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem for then we had plenty of food and were prosperous so here the belief is when they make sacrifices to her or worship a former adaptation they're prospered they're prospering they have food they saw no [00:06:27] Misfortune but when they stopped doing this Burning sacrifices to the Queen of Heaven and pouring out drink offerings to her we lacked everything and have been consumed by The Sword and by famine wow that's a powerful scripture picture right there and so can I give some definitions of what this queen of Heaven actually means and you know because some people are like I have hardly ever heard of this like what you're saying and so this is why I'm trying to give language to it when we look up the words Queen of Heaven in Hebrew the Hebrew word melaket m-e-l-e-k-e-t it is defined as a female ruler one who is a governmental head of a kingdom now when we're saying [00:07:16] governmental head of a kingdom we're meeting in Satan's kingdom okay and and dealing in that spiritual realm it stems from the Hebrew word malath m-a-l-a-k defined and it's defined to Reign and to descend to the throne so here when we're talking about this demonic Spirit or principality because we know Ephesians 6 12 says that our hand-to-hand combat is not with human being games but with the highest principalities and authorities agree operating in Rebellion under the Heavenly Realms they're a powerful class of demon Gods you all know that scripture and evil spirits that hold this world in dark bondage so when we're talking about the Queen of Heaven and we're talking about these words and you [00:08:03] look at these Hebrew words you can hear that in the Demonic Army that she carries a lot of authority in Satan's Army that she is literally one who is a governmental head of a kingdom and so whoo when you start reading this and when you study in ancient cultures literally they set their calendars and their time to the rotation of the Moon because they worshiped her as the moon goddess and I'm going to try to make this as clean as I can but because she was also considered a fertility goddess as well in ancient cultures and a war goddess and so they believed that she could bring Prosperity keep them from famine she was the Moon Goddess that [00:08:52] times were set to the Moon in ancient cultures uh because of the fertility in a female cycle and so the moon goddess carried the Queen of Heaven carried a lot of authority in ancient cultures and people will say okay well that was when Jeremiah and you can read scriptures in Isaiah you can read other scriptures that speak about her you know that was back in the Old Testament but when we even look in the New Testament and we see Paul uh in Ephesus and it and some translations talk about Diana some call her Artemis but this was the entity that was being worshiped and that they believe brought them prosperity and brought them wealth and so um you know so we see even [00:09:43] throughout the whole new testament and then when you get into Revelation it talks about the Queen of Heaven the of Babylon that's another name for her and that this is what the one that the dragon right is going to be defeating and so we see that this is a demonic principality and spirit that we need to have great understanding of uh in order to see people set free in order to make sure that we're not aligning with something that is a true and pure according to the word of God so there's just a brief little whoo snippet um about this Queen of Heaven so we can give a little bit of foundation to it well and I'm curious you know again I've read quite a few books in this deliverance and exorcism space but again somehow this is is hardly mentioned [00:10:32] um is it is it almost intentional that we've lost the plot on this I mean I I just I'm I'm so curious or or was there more awareness of this historically we've kind of lost track of it I believe so and I think we don't have understanding of it so we don't have eyes to see like even when I wrote my book let our children go when I talk about even uh like Witchcraft and things like that um that they worship in Wicca like the lady and the Lord and Diana and so uh when and we've prayed for people that have come out of Witchcraft and so we know these things but I you know also Doug prayed for him enough people to know this and so it's important to understand that whatever the root of our worship structure is if it is attached a [00:11:21] part of a manifestation an adaptation of this Queen of Heaven structure then we need to have understanding to be able to pray and to be able to deal with it so I think it's something that people just haven't highlighted I will talk about this I'm writing a book on it um I will talk about this even when we look at abortion in the abortion industry Sean when you uh traced witchcraft how it attached to early ancient practices of abortion and how it even came through the history even into our nation there is a manifestation of the Queen of Heaven named Lilith that is a part of the abortion industry that has attached itself to the abortion industry [00:12:10] and all map out all that history but that would take a long time that's like an hour teaching in itself but when I write this book I will talk about this so when we are praying for people who have had abortions and and they're coming and you know they're needing deliverance and freedom we will pray and break off of them we pray and break all death that is attached this to Lilith that comes through the practice of abortion and any death that is left in their womb are their family bloodline that is attached to this Loveless structure in all witchcraft that came with it was an occult witchcraft practice from ancient civilization and you can trace it all the way into uh the beginning of Planned Parenthood I just [00:12:57] opened up a whole can of worms right there yes at least some good keywords to set off people uh certainly um and so if if you have some of that say in your family line you know your parents your grandparents or other relatives uh is this something that could be coming down to impact you generationally as well yes it could be and so when we're praying for people that there is that generational what we call iniquity or generational curse that has come down that family line you know because the word of God tells us he loves a thousand generations of those who love me right but it you know things sin can be passed down to the third and fourth generation those who hate me now I'm just going to say this we love the Lord and and and and and so I'm not saying that your past [00:13:47] Generations didn't but when we sin when we partner with sin when we partner with death when we partner with a cult when we partner with idolatrous worship to the Queen of Heaven when it is in the form of an idol when it's an occult practice when it might have been a spirit of death that came in through abortion four or five generations back the enemy has never nor will he ever play fair and he will try to repeat that curse falling on the family line to three to four generations where it's picked back up again and then we have to then we pray and we break it off but the good news is is that when we repent even if we aren't the ones that did it and we [00:14:34] say Lord we wash this under the blood of Jesus I forget on the I forgive me and my family on behalf of this open door just like what Nehemiah did before he rebuilt the wall of Jerusalem and we wash it under the blood even if if someone in their family bloodline they didn't do it but someone did but they see infirmity they see death they see uh it's very difficult to study the word of God they see that it's very difficult to hear prophetic words many times we'll pray for people that have the Queen of Heaven occult idolatry in their bloodline or they themselves have done it and it's like they feel like this band is wrapping around their head and they can't fully hear the word of God or they can't fully receive the truth from [00:15:24] the word of God so when we pray and we break that all of a sudden they say that vice grip off their mind breaks and they're able to read the word of God it's alive to them and they're able to hear and receive the word of the Lord and so I think what we tell people is we must know the root and the foundation of all that we are welcoming into our lives and if it starts off from this demonic Foundation of an adaptation of this Queen of Heaven uh demonic principality and spirit then we need to repent and get it broken off of Our Lives well Becca you'd mentioned Witchcraft and abortion are there any other uh places or things that kind of draw the [00:16:11] Queen of Heaven to you so to speak and and cause her to start manifesting well I could be real controversial if you want me to be I would love you to be real controversial it's a podcast people love that sort of thing you may be going into my next question in my notes who knows let's see oh Lord you probably so and so yes I believe that authority to tread just briefly I'm gonna give this disclaimer a thousand times I mean I if you were with me you're gonna hear my heart um and because I even want to talk about how forms of idolatry have even come into the church and we have to be so cautious of that so before I say this um I'm gonna say do I believe people that [00:16:59] um because when we talk about idolatry then it does bring up Catholicism some because there are there is Idols that are worshiped in Catholicism I'm going to say all this God looks at the heart do I believe that there are believers that God is using powerfully who are Catholic absolutely yes um and so um so but I think we have to be very cautious about idolatry for one for instance you know there's a big difference between veneration and worship and um we have studied the history of Rome um a quite significantly and extensively and in Rome uh there was a idolatry toward um the Queen of Heaven that was very prevalent Isis uh Juno uh Minerva [00:17:49] sabelli and um and so what what happened at the foundation is there was a lot of idolatry that were going on people were used to bowing to idols and so um when we went to Rome studied the history extensive history now I'm going to say this Mary is blessed and we should honor her she was chosen for a very special task she should be venerated there's a big difference between veneration and worship and um and a lot of how I Idols that would get prayed to came into the foundation of the church as people were used to bowing to these idols and so they found it difficult at first for [00:18:37] people and especially a female entity and so their people would not come in to the church because there wasn't an entity or an idol to bow down to and so um what began to happen was there was a worship of an entity by the name of Sybil sabelli in the Italian way and in her belief system uh that when they worshiped her she was also a virgin mother now I'm not saying this to everybody but uh that is watching this that is Catholic hear my heart there are believers there are Catholics that do Deliverance praise God so I'm not I'm just saying we have to have the understanding of the foundation of where some of these things came from so when they brought [00:19:25] started bringing these images into the Catholic Church Sean and I know I told you this so you I know this is on your list of questions and um am I right is that what you where you were headed next yes that is part of where I wanted to go next you're correct okay see I'm a prophet no um anyway so but what happened is they decided let's bring sabelli into the church and and a a female like Idol and let's change her image she used to be Worship in the form of a black meteorite Stone but they would carve images out of those meteorite Stones uh like just like Diana or Artemis when you read in Ephesians they said that Diana fell from heaven like as a black meteorite Stone um and so then they would say this is [00:20:17] now Mary the mother of Jesus and so that began to attract people that didn't have understanding to be able to start coming in and to be able to begin worshiping and so hear my heart Mary is we should honor Mary for what she did she was chosen for it a beautiful task of birthing Jesus and him being the savior of the world but I think our relationship with Jesus is based on a personal relationship with him and not bowing to an image and I for us to have understanding how did these images originally come in and and what what are we bowing to uh when we're bowing to these images and so um I think these are things that we have to have [00:21:04] understanding of even within the church it's a heart-to-heart connection not an object bowing to an object connection I'm not against prophetic art I'm not against jewelry things like that but when we begin to worship uh or feel like our worship to an idol or to an object over Jesus is going to secure um our Salvation then I think we need to look at that and we need to reevaluate that we have prayed for many people who um did not know Jesus they weren't presented the gospel of Salvation who were raised in Catholic churches and like I said we have Catholic friends that are amazing but they didn't they [00:21:52] but some of the people that we have prayed for did not Sean they did not have salvation presented to them they didn't even know they needed to be saved and when they received salvation and we've seen so many amazing things when we've prayed for them we have seen infirmities instantly healed we've seen arthritis instead instantly leave people we've seen people that were you know like I said couldn't read the word all of a sudden the word comes alive we've we've seen people that had not even just you know arthritis like Cancers and different infirmities poverty stricken we've prayed and we've seen them uh set free you know from that poverty and so you know we've seen the Lord move and do [00:22:39] amazing things there there was we've gone in and out of Spain for many years and done prayer assignments there in Spain and there's a certain region that we've gone into and I I don't have permission to speak this out loud yet from my friend someone keep the city nameless and faceless um until I get the but I'm sure it'll be in the book um if but um we've gone and in this certain region in Spain where my friends lived and they were pastors there was an idol that was worshiped in that region and that and it was at a high place in a mountain in a cave and when children were born they would um take this Idol she was called the virgin of Hope and they would take a the like a little wax figurine and they would tie a [00:23:25] thread around its neck of yarn and they would hang it in the dedication room and they dedicate this children to this Idol and what was happening in their region was at the age of 18 there was suicide by hanging kids were hanging themselves and so we felt like we needed to go up and pray and pray that death that had occurred and and you know and so we did we prayed we went up and we broke that death that was by that hanging of that thread in that room and that dedication room because there wasn't Jesus they believed that she was their only way and we broke that debt and there were no hangings by Suicide anymore in that city in in that region after we went up and we prayed that prayer and so we have [00:24:16] seen more and more young people in that City in Spain come to Salvation family members come to Salvation we have seen the Lord move in such beautiful Supernatural ways in that City in Spain as a result of that prayer that we have done where the next generation is no longer killing themselves but getting saved getting filled with the spirit being delivered finding their identity passionate about Jesus and winning Souls throughout the city and so these are just a few of the testimonies that we can give where the worship has been focused in a wrong way in an idolatrous form of the Queen of Heaven where it was holding back a generation instead of [00:25:04] saving a generation that was a lot long answer but a good answer but a good answer well I think the last place I'd love to go before we kind of wrap up and land the interview and this sparked I think our original conversation over dinner um just as I've gone down the rabbit hole of doing all these deliverance and exorcism interviews talking to Catholic priests who are in The Exorcism space this uh story of the lady showing up or Mary showing up at the end of an exorcism um and that that would always bring the Breakthrough or the turnaround and things would wrap up and so that that's what I think sparked our original conversation so from your perspective your research is is that Mary coming through in that circumstance or is it the Queen of Heaven I know that's it's going to be controversial to some of my friends to even ask that question but [00:25:51] that's that's that's literally part of what sparked our original discussion on this that's true that's true well you know to be honest I'm going to give a very honest answer I would really have to hear you know in each situation because I do believe sometimes the Lord does send you know Angelic help he he himself will show up in a session to touch people powerfully I'm gonna be honest because of the research that I have done you know for me I would be a little bit hesitant or skeptical you know of that but at the same time I would need to hear the fruit of the Deliverance did the Deliverance last did the person are they walking in Freedom and victory you know are they still whole to this day um you know and so but I've also seen where in Deliverance situations if [00:26:41] you're not in certain situations where um a demon can appear as an angel of Light and so I know that that's a part of what we were talking about at the table so I'd really you know I'd love probably to even go back and listen to some of what those you know those interviews have said those podcasts have said you know um for me you know I'm very cautious because of what I know about the history of how this worship came in uh I would be cautious about that but I would also love to listen to some of those podcasts and interviews which I think I said to you that day as well you know to see it to hear you know uh is has is freedom being maintained in our people's lives still uh transformed we have seen over [00:27:30] and over again in Deliverance Ministry um when we've prayed for people over the years that people can have encounters that appear like a righteous in a pure encounter uh when in essence it's not and things will calm down for a period of time and then they'll stir up again and so to answer that question if that's happening where things get calm for a little bit but then all of a sudden that demonic stronghold is stirred up again and they're having to go back through the whole same pattern again then you know maybe we would need to question is that isn't it is it a demon appearing as an angel of Light a part of that Queen of Heaven structure or is it really a touch from Heaven that's setting people free and I'd probably need to hear that from a case-by-case basis but I'd be for [00:28:19] me with what I know I'd be a little cautious so well well very helpful and maybe is it a good honest answer yes that was that was a very careful nuanced answer uh well and maybe when uh when this new book comes out um I'll line up a couple of friends and we can have it'd be a fun discussion to have like bring people to share some stories and kind of uh we can have a discussion and kind of cross-evaluate uh it would be interesting to see what would come of that and be a productive time uh Becca in terms of books and resources obviously you're still very much in the early stages of writing your book that's going to be coming uh but any if somebody's like wow this is interesting or they feel like the Lord's prompting them to learn more any resources you could recommend at this stage besides your new book that's on the horizon oh wow [00:29:07] um that is out there well you know there's Peter's books that they wrote but I don't think those I think those are out of print now you can find them on Amazon and I can link to those in in the show notes um but they're they're a little bit obscure because I think they both are probably out of prints you're gonna you have to get used copies of those right um you know there's really as of yet um since those books I believe there is one book out that's called disarming the Queen of Heaven um that a couple of friends have told me about I need to read that one um but they a couple of people have told me about that book and I think that's more talking about it um more like uh how do we pray for cities and regions but but that there are some prayers to be broken as well I know a friend of mine someone Stevens in [00:29:55] New Zealand um he has um on Jubilee resources and he has like prayer of releases um from the Queen of Heaven um my friend Alice Smith wrote a book delivering the captives and she has in the back prayers of release in the back of her book and a prayer of release of the unscriptural practices even like what we were talking about of Catholicism that one of her friends that is a pastor and a leader has written and that prayer and it's in the back of Alice Smith's books delivering the captives and so that would be a good reference so I think at this point those are the ones that I I would say I could recommend you know I want to have read [00:30:43] things before I recommend them as well but I know that those are recommended materials you know I know so when I know Alice's and you know Peter's books that were written back at during that time as well and so um anyway but I pray this is helpful for people I iron sharpens iron I think we're all you know in a place of learning and growing as well and and so and I know we don't have time for me to go into full explanation over everything so everybody's gonna have to get the book when it comes out and it's going to have prayers of release for people as individuals for deliverance it's also going to have prayers how you know how do we pray at a regional level and like I said I have many wonderful friends [00:31:30] that love the Lord's Spirit-filled Catholics they're amazing Believers so I'm not here to say that all Catholics are not Believers and I'm not here to say that those that you have been uh talking to haven't seen amazing results in Deliverance Ministry uh as well and so but I think these are open conversations that we need to have because one that's done Deliverance Ministry now for 33 years a long long time and I've seen these I've seen people get radical Freedom when we've prayed over these Queen of Heaven issues um that I think it's a good discussion to start having again and for us to be aware of well and I I appreciate Becca just your posture and your heart um and and with so many other folks I've talked to who do ministry in this space we all want to see people get free we [00:32:17] want to see people get the help and the Deliverance that they need and so I I just really appreciated your perspective uh very nuanced perspective so thank you uh in terms of people
