It’s related to AI but not in the way you’d expect. I’ve found that a lot of plugins are adding AI-related options to the WordPress admin area, often in ways unrelated to their core functionality, and Hide AI is meant to restore a clutter-free interface. The intention is not to discourage the use of AI, but rather to promote its intentional use rather than have it made available at every opportunity. I want to see people use AI as a tool, whether for learning, development, or image generation because they have a purpose in mind, rather than having an AI-first mindset in every situation. Furthermore, individual plugins offering AI options leads to a lot of clutter in the interface, especially for people who are not using them on a regular basis. The result is the “Hide AI” plugin which hides buttons and links related to AI within the WordPress admin area.
