The NAR Trap: Exposing Their Powerless God

for all the amazing things that the N and prophetic and signs and wonders and charismatic movement all say that God does all the time on a routine basis that every Christian should be experiencing all day every day. It sure is funny that so many people leave this movement disappointed. Either we have a really powerful God that does amazing things just not for little people like us or the N in fact if you sit back and look at it has a powerless God. And that's what I'm going to be talking about on this episode of the podcast. So stick with me.
Hi, my name is Jake Nelson and I'm the pastor at East Market Church in Akran, Ohio. And this is RE3 trying to get people to rethink their positions and beliefs, renew our mind in Christ and scripture and start rebuilding our faith, reconstructing it on a biblical center instead of some of the weird
kooky crazy stuff that we get on a daily basis in this wacko version of Christianity. It's a false Christianity. N is not offering anything that sounds like biblical Christianity the further away you get from it. And man, if you've grown up in this movement, you had to have known that and and you know, before I even start, if you're watching this and I'm going to be talking about manifestations and and promises that all of these teachers get
and if just saying that, talking about miracles and signs and wonders gets you thinking of a ton of stories that you have about manifestations and miracles and signs and wonders and you're itching right now to start typing and tell me how wrong I am, I can save you a whole lot of frustration and a whole lot of effort. Say this episode is not for you. Just turn it off. If you want to pin your hopes on somebody else's stories, if you're satisfied with that, then the
N exact is exactly where you belong. I guess I hope not. But Fantasy Land might be more your cup of tea than what I'm going to be talking about. I'm not placing my hope in a story from somebody that I never even really knew very well has told me. I'm not putting my eternal hope in that. I I need something a little bit more rock solid. This episode is for the rest of us. The ones who have not gotten what the prophets promised. the ones who have worked so hard and
tried to build up enough faith to get our breakthrough and to have our breaker anointing and our miracle and our whatever. It's for people like us that couldn't build up the faith and had to watch a loved one die. those who have given so much time, so much effort, so much money, so much loyalty to leaders who kept saying, "This is the year. This is when God's going to really come through with all
those promises. These it's for the people who have been promised revival year after year after year. If only the Kansas City Chiefs would win the Super Bowl, then we'll have revival." Stupid things like that. This is for people who have been promised breakthrough, yet their children are still unsaved. Yet, nothing in their life has really gotten better. In fact, it's gotten worse. And they haven't seen anything magical yet, despite all our efforts. That's for This episode's for those people.
In short, the N makes some really big claims and it's full of stories from visiting evangelists and visiting prophets and apostles from overseas what God's doing. Dead being raised, arms and legs growing back, eyes being formed in their sockets. What about our churches? Where are these miracles here? Nobody ever has a phone to see the arm growing back, the dead person coming back. But we've been promised a lot of things.
And to me, if you're a thinking person, which Christians should be, it seems like it's only a matter of time that a truly regenerate person that's in one of these movements, doesn't start to have their eyes open if they're just being a regular Christian, opening up their Bible, praying, even if they're following some of this weird stuff, critical thinking at some point sets in. And I' I I wonder because looking at the the way the demographics break down for the people that have been watching this podcast,
I noticed that it's not the very the Gen Z. We have some, but not compared to successive generations. And I think that's because we have to get disappointed a lot before we actually leave this movement. Most of us that leave the N charismatic stuff, signs and wonders, we leave because we're disappointed enough. We leave because the church hurt. We don't leave because of the theology, unfortunately. And they say the same things year in year and year, year in and year out on repeat. And eventually, you do start to
wonder. I grew up in a cult, Ernest Angel's Grace Cathedral, where it was a healing ministry. And I was thinking this even at a very young age, they had what was called an invalid section. So people would come in by bus loads week after week and they would come up front and he'd pray for them and heal them and cast demons out and all that stuff, the deaf, the eyes, everything. But we had people in our own congregation that were dying of cancer that one I remember there was a
paraplegic. Uh and I remember thinking as a kid, why doesn't God heal them? Because I knew them and I knew that these were people of God who loved the Lord. And in a lot of cases, I never even saw them asking for healing. They just they needed somewhere to go with their wheelchair and at the end of the big dramatic healing line they would turn the cameras off and then the Ernest Angley would come down to the where all the people in wheelchairs were and then he'd pray for them separate. He wouldn't ask their story. He wouldn't really talk to them and interview them like they would for the cameras. But he'd go and
just tap them all on the head and pray. But that happened all my childhood and I would wonder why isn't it working for them? And we all that come out of this movement come out of some kind of disappointment in it. Well, I'm I'm going to give this a shot because I got all kinds of different stuff I want to show you in this episode. And first, I want to go to YouTube. I just I thought let's just go there and pull up I thought maybe it would be interesting.
So just randomly what I picked what I typed in was 2015 prophetic word breakthrough. So let's just there's a prophetic look at 2015. This is chosen explosion house church prophetic look at 2015. Let's see what she has to say. >> I haven't watched this. I don't know. >> Hi guys. Happy new year. Um, I've been spending some time with the Lord,
seeking his face, uh, for 2015. Um, honestly, the Lord has has given me some visions. Um, and spoken to me about different things, but honestly, what the Lord has been doing mostly is reminding me of things. >> All right, let's get out of the intro. Let's see what the word for 2015 is. >> Increase in spiritual activity, angelic activity, and encounters with God. This is already increasing. We see it increasing and the Lord is saying it's
going to continue to increase amongst his people and amongst those that do not know him. Those who uh Muslims and uh Hindus and atheists and uh just people throughout the earth. The Lord is revealing himself. >> Okay. So, the Lord's going to reveal himself in 2015. Spontaneous freedom. See what that is. >> Aneous freedom coming to those who hate evil. I'm already seeing it. The Lord has spoken it. The Lord has me to declare it in spiritual warfare. Freedom, spontaneous deliverance, people
being delivered from um from demon >> spontaneous spontaneous lies, from deceptions, from evil in their lives, in their body and in their lives. Praise the Lord. Lord, we thank you for that. Um number five, a birthing of promises. And the Lord has already said this, but I'm just confirming it. I have a new a lot of new subscribers, so I'm just because it's the new year, I'm putting these things together. And the Lord has confirmed to me these things. Yes. Okay. A birthing of promising promises,
the opening of doors. Um, many are being launched into their purpose, but not all yet. Not everyone, but many are being launched into their purposes. >> Okay. So, there was a bunch of promises way back in 2015 that people are going to spontaneously be freed of demonic possession. they are going to uh get these anointings and that one was even I mean promises are just going to start breaking out. How many times have you been told that? How
many times have you been told those things? Let's check another one because this happens all the time. It happens year in and year out. Oh, there's a I must have watched that one. Look at that. Let's let's listen to Patricia King. >> Well, hello everyone. We are at the brink of a brand new year. In fact, as this uh particular message goes out, we're we're just at the point of engaging stepping over into 2015. >> And the Lord has given me a number of different insights for the year, prophetic insights, but I want to give you five because sometimes if we understand the Lord's purpose and his
direction for a particular year, when we pray into it, it postures us to receive the blessing of that. So, I want to give these to you right at the beginning of this year so that you'll know how to >> Yeah. And and here's the catch. If you don't do a bunch of activity, a bunch of certain things like close doors and legally declare and and go to every single worship night and be in every class that they offer, we forfeit the things that God told us. So, we have to hear it again, I guess, the next year. But, let's see what Patricia King says that was going to come to pass in 2015.
>> Step into it, walk in it, pray for it, and posture yourself in it. The first uh one I want to deliver to you is the Lord says praise in 2015 is going to be your key to freedom, to victory, and to overcoming. that in this year, wherever you would see turmoil around you or confusion or battle in the spirit or whatever, if you would just start focusing on Jesus and start praising him, there's going to be a portal of victory opened up where the victor's crown will just fall upon you and there'll be freedom and movement in the kingdom uh towards you. God will just start calling everything in the universe to your favor to work on your behalf.
>> Oh my gosh. All we have to do is worship in the middle of things and everything in the universe God's going to call to help us. That's awesome. That was in 2015. I I wish I'd have been paying attention then because 2015 had a few things in it that probably would have been easier. Let's see what else is coming. There is going to be increased angelic activity in this new year. And I see Michael. Michael the archangel is the angel that oversees he's the archangel
that oversees Israel, but he also is in charge of war. And this angel and his entourage and in other words his company of warrior angels are going to be loosed in 2015. And we know that in the world there's wars and rumors of wars and all kinds of tensions going on. It's going to be a year of tumult in the world but in the kingdom it's going to be amazing. And this entourage of angels is going to be released. Now I just had mentioned praise. Praise is going to be one of the greatest keys. Remember in the book of acts where the apostles were in prison. But when they started praising it loos angelic activity and it opened up the heavens even in the midst of their conf. >> Oh that's great. So, we're worried about
wars right now. It's in the news all the time. We probably should remember this. Oh, but I'll bet you. I'll bet you. All right. So, that's just a couple. And And we could probably do this for an entire episode. Let's go 20. Prophetic word breakthrough. See what we get this time. Prophetic breakthrough. Let's just check
this guy out. This is >> Hi, this is Ras and Kitty Walden with Father's Heart Ministry and this is breakthrough word for the month of July. >> In the month of July, the Father says you are the recipient. I declare you to be the recipient of a breaker anointing I am pouring out upon the earth. >> Breaker says I am opening the reserves of the first pressing of the oil of my spirit to be poured out in my temple and you you are that temple. The father says I'm giving you the first pressing. I will not wait for the second pressing or the third pressing for those are the oils intended for common use. And the father says, "There is nothing common
about what I am doing in your life in this season." I >> in this season. Okay. So, see, we hear very similar things. Let's uh There's Russell Walden again. Here's another guy, Troy Brewer. Let's listen to him. >> I want to just say, guys, that this year is a huge year for prophecy. It is a huge year for prophetic ministry. It is a huge year for prophetic culture. And there's going to be tremendous advances this year in the year 2018 in the Hebrew year 5778 concerning prophecy, prophetic ministry, and prophetic culture. And guys, there are all different kinds of prophetic ministry. And I like what Michael Fus has to say when he talks
about prophetic. >> Okay, so increase in angel activity, increase in prophetic ministry, sudden surprise breakthrough on this lady. I'm looking for one that's big. John Kilpatrick. Oh, this has got a lot of views. 294,000 views. Okay, the words for 2018 and beyond. The Lord woke me up about 8 something on December the 23rd of last year, just a couple of three weeks ago. And when the Lord woke me up in the morning time, I
had just gone to bed that morning about four o'clock. And as I was sleeping, I was awakened and I heard the Lord say to me, "Tell my people that 2018 is going to be the year of divine interruptions." >> Oh, right. Divine interruptions. Okay, so you get the point, right? We've got all kinds of things that are said every year, every month, every week, sometimes by the day with pastors,
prophets. We hear this stuff constantly that this is it. We're going to have a break or anointing. We're going to have angel increases. We're going to for as much as this stuff is said, when is it going to happen? It seems to be happening to them according to their stories. But if Bill Johnson is right, then all of these things should be commonplace. I was looking, I found an article, I'll just show you. I'm not going to read the article, but the cover of it, this was
out of Christian Post reporter Bill Johnson. Healing is as much of the gospel as is forgiveness. Healing. So healing should be just as just as normal as somebody being forgiven of their sins. It's part of the gospel. It's integral to the gospel. So, you'd think then that we would see just every Christian that's forgiven walking around doing miracles. Now, they get around this with some theological gymnastics around certain
verses. And even the whole healing is guaranteed in the atonement. It's kind of a misreading of Isaiah there where by his stripes we are healed. It's talking about our sin sickness, not necessarily our diseases. Otherwise, there's a lot of Christians that have really failed, including me. I still struggle with depression off and on. my shoulder axe up and I got a bum knee, but I thought I was serving the Lord. A lot of people claim that these miracles are common place. All of the people that we just watched and and thousands of
others, people that you used to listen to, maybe still are trying to break from, they say that all these stories are common place. With all the stories you hear in the N hyperarismatic movie, you think somebody would have captured some kind of evidence of some of these things happening. I have a book sitting at home on my shelf that is uh about dead raising teams, how to create it's from the dude out out of Bethl. I can't remember the name of it now. I've read through half of it, but it looks like
I'm reading through somebody that's high on LSD writing down their memoir. It doesn't even make sense when you read it. I I'm trying to Usually I'm a pretty fast reader, but when it comes to a book like that, I get so frustrated with what he's saying and doing and it's hard to even read it. And I'm not saying God doesn't heal. He does heal. I've been healed. I was an an addict. And there's been so many things I can tell you. But even the the most bought in card
carrying N acolyte has to wrestle with questions about God's power. And I know that because I hear from people that eventually come out. This usually starts early that we start questioning why isn't this happening? Why did it fail? What did I do wrong? What did our church do wrong? How how could God have let this happen? Because prophet so and so said the opposite. We wrestle with this. And what we try to do is cope. We rationalize. We
justify. We blame ourselves. We blame somebody else. It's, you know, these sometimes a prophet will come out and say something is going to happen and then when it doesn't they'll say, "Well, it's because the church interceded and prayed and then it didn't." So, it's a it's pretty convenient copout that you can say whatever you want and you really never get called on it because there's so many variables that you never could. But there's enough specifics to keep us on the hook. It's a carrot on a stick and it's carrot on the
on a stick theology. That's what the N specializes in. They're always promising the revival. They're promising the wealth transfer. They're promising the seven mountains will finally be taken over and we'll usher in Jesus into his kingdom on earth. We're promised all of these things that never ever happen. They just keep kicking the can down the road further and further and further. They keep us busy
and we're so busy trying to find the keys to access these things. We're so busy trying to close these doors. We're so busy attending every service and going to soak every worship night and taking every available class to us and hiding in the room for hours to pray to seek new revelation from God. We're so busy we don't even really stop to think why isn't this happening? How come in the last 10 years none of this has come
true? And the the real problem is that sometimes some of them the way we rationalize a lot of these prophecies seem like maybe they could have because a lot of these prophecies are so vague that it could be any. When you have a young couple come to the front and somebody says you know you're having money trouble well what young married couple isn't? So you can say these like onesie type prophecies that could fit almost anybody and then they could fit almost any application. And so we do this we we rationalize how
that must have worked and that's just enough to keep us going back for more. I mean to get our access we have to soak. If you don't know what that is, soaking is just listening to music lying on the floor or sitting there with your arms up in the air. Why? Oh, well, that makes you more yielded to Jesus. That makes you more open Jesus. In some cases, even going to heaven. I got a video of that we're going to we're going to look at. It's a misguided attempt at spiritual growth for some,
and for others, it's just become a regular part uh regular form of seeking God in place of Bible study, and place of prayer, like serious Bible study. I'm not just talking about a devotion. It's much easier. Life is a mess. and I don't know how to organize it. Rather than get disciplined as Christian discipline would have us where we are training ourselves to think rightly according to scripture. We start disciplines where we begin our day a certain way starting with the Lord,
maybe a little bit of prayer, some some Bible reading, and then get about our day. We don't have time for all that. It's much easier to pencil in a Friday night and then just go soak in the presence. And what's the end result of all this? What's the end result of all the classes, all the soaking, all the locking ourselves in a room to pray? Um what what is the result? Nothing much an experience.
But situations don't go away just because we soaked. How about how about the amount of business that goes on serving in an N ministry? You got small groups, you got the worship nights, you got outreach, you got ministry schooling and church services. And when you put all that together, all of those are just relegated to busy work in many cases because there's not a lot of B Bible instruction going on at all. We're being used to build a ministry for somebody. We're being used as pawns and
in some cases indentured servants because we're doing this with the expectation that we're going to have God's favor because if we have the favor of this anointed leader, well, there's going to be a lot of blessing with that. And so, they keep us again on the hook. They're making promises over and over and over that we is just enough to keep us there. But we're building a ministry. We're not building the kingdom of God. And all of this tires you out. You talk
about disillusionment. You get tired because you're hearing these kind of things, an angelic outpourings. This is the year of breakthrough. The breaker anointing's coming. But you still keep pushing. You still keep trying to prove yourself. You ste still keep pressing in all the buzzwords in the hopes that God is going to move and that God is going to honor what he's been saying through the prophets. He's going to change my situation. The prodigals are going to come home. The wealth transfer is going to happen. My bank account won't be empty forever if I
just keep pushing. I'll get my healing. I'll get my miracle. My grandma is going to get her miracle or I'm going to get this new revelation. I I know God's called me to ministry, but I don't really know what. I just need one more revelation from God. And that's going to change everything in my life. That's what they're promising us. an experience, a oneshot big event in our life. If we just keep doing these things that they keep having us do, we'll get the key to breakthrough. We want that. We're searching for it. We
try harder. We pray longer. We sing louder. We worship more freely, more demonstrative. We're doing all we can, hoping to see God do something amazing. Whether it's in the service, in our lives, anywhere. We just want to see something. We want to see some kind of manifestation. Just like we keep bringing we keep being told that he does this all day every day by the N leaders. We want to see some of that too. We want to get in on that because they're coming in with all these
amazing stories. And that really is the reason we propped them up in the first place, just because they got great stories. We don't see videos of these things. We don't get receipts. We just get the stories. And it's always been this way. It's their entire stick. All the way back to the revival days. William Brandham, they have stage personas that they used. There's a character they portray on stage and that character they're portraying on stage is one that's chasing out demons routinely. No trouble at all. They just command
diseases to leave and they leave too. Even death in many cases, I mean they're giving people back to their loved ones, right? In these stories they give us, they see visions. They see open portals with angels coming and descending and going back to heaven. They visit heaven. Even they talk about God on his throne and how they run around, do laps and and laugh and joke around with Jesus.
Jesus has long conversations in heaven with him. You know, some of them like Bob Jones even claim to be able to teach people to go up to heaven. And I want to show you a video of that. These are some great promises if they could deliver. But there's a problem. And the problem is that they don't deliver. Now, I'm going to show you Bob Jones, and he's going to be teaching us how to go up. Had to give up. Bob Jones.
Sorry, I don't have a lot of patience for Bob Jones, but I'm going to attempt this then. I've never had the ability to take people up except recently when he gave me that word about the kingdom coming. Now, it's time that the kingdom comes out of you tonight for one another and I'm going to show you how to do that. But first, I want to lay scriptures on Ephesians.
Okay? He's gonna butcher a few scriptures. We don't have time for all that because he mumbles a lot. We're going to get to where he's teaching us how to go. >> The butterfly lives in the sun. It's time that you be a generation that lives in the sun with the sun. >> For what the sun does, by the way, >> it pumps the fluids into the wings and everything to where the butterfly can go and reproduce beyond imagination >> in one year. It's time you become light.
And it's time that you reproduce without numbers. So what I usually have people to do is I have them to stand up. Not yet. I want you to understand. I have you to stand up. I'm going to ask the Holy Spirit to come. I want you to
put your head up and I want you to close your eyes and I want you to take deep breaths. The worst thing you can do is pray. You understand what you're doing if you're praying? I want this raptured. >> In other words, he doesn't want us to think because if we think about what it is that he's saying, we should be running for the exits as fast as we can. But he doesn't want us to do that. Now, I'm going to take us to where he starts
having him do this. He's going to take him up to heaven. >> Watch your feelings. Wind's been blowing over you ever since I've been speaking. That's angel activity. >> So, he says, "W's already been blowing over you ever since I've been speaking." Nobody in that room has felt that, but that's one of those things they say that we just Okay, >> so now if you'll stand up. Here we go. We're gonna go to heaven.
>> What an amazing promise if it was true. >> Put your hands up. Put your head up. Reason I want your head put up. So many of you are tried with rejection. There's no rejection here. They're just sons and daughters. Now take a deep breath. Come, Holy Spirit. Good. You're going good. Good. Keep breathing.
>> They all look like they're still at Bethl to me. >> Breathe in. Breathe out the old. >> Breathe in the new. >> That's a new age thought, by the way. The breathing. Contemplative prayer falls into that as well. >> You can do this as often as you choose, and you can lead as many people to desire this. for this teaching I've given you. You can give it to whomever will take other breath. That's good. Good. Now, some of you ought to feel it coming
up the back of your neck on the sides of your head. Thank you, Holy Spirit. Keep moving. >> You notice some people shaking and convulsing? >> Good. Good. Good. They're going to heaven. Good, good. >> What an amazing promise. >> Spiritual activity is increasing. Thank you, Lord.
Good. Thank you, Lord. Good. Thank you, Lord. Good. Basically, he does nothing. I'm just going to go ahead and stop that one because uh it's ridiculous. It's just another one of many promises. They all stood there in the room, put their hands up, and some of them started
to shake. That's a trip to heaven. He promised that he was going to teach them to take them up and they're going to be able to go teach this, too. You're teaching people to just accept to just live in delusion. And we buy into it because we want so badly to have some of these things that we've been promised repeatedly. But this God that they're presenting is powerless. They didn't go to heaven. Just like people didn't get spontaneously freed of demons. And just like prophetic
acceleration didn't happen in 2015, didn't happen in 28. I mean, the movement's growing if that's what they mean. But they're promising and promising and promising. Bob Jones specifically was one that he promised uh that when the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl that there'd be nationwide revival. He's telling people too to not pray. Empty your mind. And this is a tactic the NR uses. They don't want you to think because if you start thinking about it, you start putting pieces
together and say, "What am I doing? What what am I doing with my entire life with the years, the money, the effort, the the expense? He's saying empty your mind. Philippians 4:8 says, "Finally, brothers, whatever, here's what you're supposed to do. Think on things. Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there's anything worthy of praise, think about these things." And that was eight things right there
just in one verse that we're to be thinking on. not empty our mind but to fill it with the right the right things with truth with things that are honorable things that are just things that are pure whatever is lovely commendable excellent think about those so we hear testimonies though not just from the big name apostles and prophets there was people on the 2015 thing that I I mean I hadn't heard of a couple of those people that I pulled up when we were just surfing YouTube there it's not just prophets and apostle big names it's people on YouTube regular people like
uh worship leaders, children's ministry leaders who give us all sorts of testimonies about five and six year olds meeting angels, talking to Jesus. And I'm going to play a video of it's an old one from Bethl's former youth pastor. And this is sickening and sad that, you know, it gets to this, but let's let's try another >> kind of along those lines. um in helping train the kids in discernment. I would
imagine that would be a really important piece of this puzzle of helping them develop in these ways. Um how is it that you guys help the kids learn how to discern encounters, dreams, visions, those kinds of things. >> We had I had a mom come they moved here not that long ago and their son would come home and say, "Mom, I'm seeing angels and mom I've seen Jesus." Wow. >> She came and said, "How do I know he's not just making it up?" And I So I said,
"What's the fruit? >> Does he love God more?" >> Okay, real quick. Seth Doll, he's the guy that said Jesus apologized to him on the stage at Bethl. And here he is being interviewed about kids that are coming out and coming home with stories that they visited Jesus, they went to heaven. Well, it's if it doesn't sound evil, then serve God. >> Does he love Jesus more? see more on fire for God. >> Yeah. >> You know, what is the angel telling? What's the angel doing? Things like
that. Like >> like oftenimes I think we get too concerned about was that God or was that me? >> I think we get way too concerned with that since we >> why would that why would why would being way too concerned about that be a problem? The Bible says that our hearts are deceitful. Who can know it? We we have to be able to discern the New Testament. Just about every book in the New Testament is dealing with false teaching, false teachers, false prophets, discerning, testing,
everything. So, it seems that that is something we should get hung up on. But here's a children's pastor, former children's pastor at Bethl saying opposite. mind of Christ, much of what God will do will feel like us or seem like us. Like he has a thought through us. And it it's like a thought like, "Wow, I could have missed that or dismissed something as something God sent me as if it were my own." >> But when it comes to discerning like if
it's if it's God or the devil, like does it steal, kill, and destroy or does it give life and life more abundantly? You know, that seems to me a bit easier. like >> Mhm. >> how did you feel? >> And that's how personal prophecy is able to take off as much as it is. It doesn't sound evil, so it must be God. >> Versus, >> yeah, did you feel peaceful, right? Did you feel loved, >> right? >> That's really watching the fruit of the lives, too. >> Questions are the biggest part of it. >> Um,
>> okay, that's good. It's uh that whole thing comes out because at Bethl that's what they do is teach kids to see something, draw it out, put it up on the coloring board, coloring coloring book. Let me show you another one here. >> Prophetic. The difference between those two is that the adults will go through this battle. Is that me? Is that is did I already know? Is that God? Is that my
enemy? years that and they'll go through this war. You tell children God wants to talk to them and they go, "Cool. Well, I saw blue." And and they and it's a very easy process for them. There isn't >> Yeah. It's a very easy process for them because they're being taught in these cultures to continually accept anything that comes into their mind. And the adults are so busy telling themselves to stop thinking. We're going to raise a a generation of kids. You talk about hitting a wall at 100 miles
an hour. It's easy for kids to just believe everything. Everything's handled for them. They don't have any real problems yet. Wait till they get out on their own and they find out that this N God is not doing the things that they're being claimed that he's doing. And we hear these stories of miracles and signs and wonders and a church full of other people hoping to experience all the same stuff too if we just empty our mind enough. If we just
unlock enough doors or seal up enough doors so we cheer and we clap and we say amen. Or you hear clips and stuff like that when ladies are talking about kids going to heaven. We're like wow. You always hear that. Oh wow. There's always somebody. Just like at the alder calls, there's always a couple people like shrieking. I'm surprised dogs don't come running in the doors, but we believe it. We eat it up. The more sensational, the more fantastic,
especially the more the speaker looks convinced, the easier it is for us to be convinced. We eat it up. But then when it's our turn, when we need a miracle, when it's our own faith that's in crisis because we haven't had any of these things happen yet, life's problems get a little bit too big. It's easy to think it's going to happen while we're sitting there or having our worship experience or hearing the story. We're all excited. So, we go to the God when we're in
trouble that we've been told never allows his kids to go through any troubles. We go to the god who we've been told over in Africa is raising people from the dead. So you end up with baby olive. Stuff like that. We go to a god who we've been told by people like Bill Johnson is always his will to heal. Even so far as going to say like I'm
going to play a clip here in a second where Bill Johnson won't pray. not my will but yours be done. He says it's wrong for us to play pray that because it's not making a bold declaration. It's it's a prayer of unbelief as far as Bill Johnson is concerned. Let me show you. >> And and >> so it was a different idea. It wasn't like if it's Lord if it's your will. No. So it's not like um having that um >> in your prayer or in your thought life because in your it's like practical
theology like you approach everybody like the Lord's going to move right now. >> Yeah. Yeah. And I can't pray if it's your will because for me that's a prayer of unbelief. Okay? >> Because he's already revealed to me. It is his will in his provision for healing. And personally, I use Isaiah 53, but you can, you know, you can come in. >> By his stripes, we are healed. Again, sin, sickness, not every disease that you've ever had. >> Many different angles. It's an aspect of the kingdom, which is a present reality. >> Uh Jesus made provision for it. So, I have to I have to pursue it in that light. >> And then, but in in my rel, you know,
it's appointed unto man to die. So there is a point of death and uh I don't know that that should be the subject now but uh >> okay so as far as Bill Johnson's concern to pray not my will but yours be done that's a prayer of unbelief but didn't Jesus say when he taught his disciples how to pray our father who's in heaven hallowed be your name your kingdom come what's the next Fine.
Oh, don't say it. That's unbelief. Your will be done. We see Jesus modeling that. That's the way we should pray, too. If I'm being told consistently that even praying for God's will to be done in a healing situation or something like that is wrong, what's going to happen when I prayed for my loved one, they don't get well and things don't change? What's going to happen when my kids are starting to move away? And believe me, kids that are
raised in this don't typically stay because they're able to see it. They're not so desperate yet for these miracles. They just see it on its face. And a lot of times they don't question it until the point when they do, and they start seeing inconsistencies. They see, like I did, that some of the most demonstrative prayer warriors and praisers had home lives that were complete mess. They see the people that are struggling with
afflictions in their body not being healed, sitting in that wheelchair week after week after week until they die. And so they end up leaving this stuff. What happens when our kids do that? What happens when the money dries up? Then what? Because we've been told that God's just going to do all these things for us all the time. Well, it's your fault. That's what. And while they won't say that, and Bill Johnson definitely works hard to distance himself. In fact, I've heard him on one podcast saying,
"We would never say that because that's cruel." Yeah, it is cruel. You're not saying it, but you're accidentally teaching it. And people are accidentally learning it because if I lose my miracle because I didn't have enough faith, or I don't have enough money because I just couldn't believe God long enough, or I'm suffering with depression because I accidentally left the door open. Whose fault is that? You can tell me it's not my fault, but I don't know who else I'd be able to blame. It's either me or God. And when this happens, when we get to the point where
we've really run into a big problem and this God we've been presented fails us, one of three things happens. You either give up and walk away like a lot of kids do when they grow up in this because you get let down in a big enough way, a really big way. Your spouse dies. You lose a child. that your your kids disown you and go out into the world and they just reject everything. Money dries up and you lose your business, you lose your home.
When something like that happens, you end up in a crisis of faith. And this first group of people because they really have no real knowledge of God that you can carry with you as you try to walk through this, you just walk away and never come back. And I think the largest group of people that leave the NR and hyperarismatic movement are this first group. They walk out and never look back. A lot of them never walk into churches again because as I've said before, we get hurt and
that's why we leave. We don't leave over the theological differences. We spend a lot of time rationalizing why why this one passage seems a little bit different. I used to wonder about that when I was growing up at Grace Cathedral. At the end of every service, they would have everybody come up and start speaking in tongues. So you'd have hundreds of people doing it. But when I read things like in first Corinthians where it says one at most two and each one in turn, that's a pretty clear instruction. And I don't like using that word clear very often because a lot of times preachers say that and it's not very clear. But in that case, it's
pretty clear. So what do you do with five, six hundred people being told by their pastor to start doing it now? You rationalize it away. That's what So say you've got to the point where you're done. You can't rationalize it anymore because now it's hit so close to home and it's hit so hard that you have this crisis of faith. You don't have any real knowledge of the Bible. So, you don't have anything to help carry you through anything. Well, what do you do? You blame God. You don't blame the false teacher that filled you with all these
lies. You blame God. Instead of blaming false teaching, we blame God. We blame the church. We blame the people of God. But how would you even know what's true from what's false? You haven't been taught. Your faith has depended on other people's stories. and you've been working so hard you didn't have time to notice that you weren't learning anything of any substance. That's the first outcome of people that hit the wall in this. Second thing that happens to many of us is that we double down.
We swallow our guilt because it was our fault that we didn't get this. I didn't perform good enough for God and I rationalize away why he didn't move. Something I did was wrong. One thing I tell our church when it comes to faith because those of us breaking out of this, this is where it gets us. We didn't have enough faith. Don't think about faith as many of us see faith as like a cup, like a glass. And we imagine this glass being filled up. That's our faith, right? And once we
get it up to a certain level, we get what we're asking for. God's waiting for us to get that faith filled up. And the only thing we can do is just keep saying it. It's going to happen. It did happen. It's already happened. I'm thanking you in advance. All that kind of stuff to try to make sure we don't say anything negative and pop a little hole in our cup so faith doesn't start going back. We want to build it up. But that's not the way we should look at faith. Jesus compared faith to a mustard seed. And since I reached back here, let me just say n people like to point out Godzilla and get angry. That's not a demon. It's
just Godzilla. And this whole backdrop is something I threw together in an afternoon because I didn't want to have a bare wall behind me. This none of this this is just junk I had laying around the house. I got yelled at by somebody over Godzilla and Mountain Dew and they messed up Mountain Dew thinking Mountain Dew was liquid death because Liquid Death had this whole urban legend about it was demonic. N people believed this and they somehow thought Mountain Dew was demonic.
Well, Mountain Dew Zero might be demonic. Anyway, the second group of people doubles down. And this is what we do. We think we didn't build up enough faith. Jesus doesn't say faith is like a a mug full of liquid. He tells us faith is like a little mustard seed, tiny. It's one little stone. And Ephesians tells us that God's the one that gives us faith. We don't work it up. He actually gives it to us. And if that little tiny bit of faith is enough to
do some pretty great things and not amazing things like actually pick up a mountain and throw it, there's a lot of symbolism going on there. The mountain is where God lives. The sea is often referred to when you're talking about gentile nations. And where was the temple? The temple was on that mountain. Jesus is saying one way to look at it is that Jesus is saying you could say to this mountain be cast into the sea, the temple, the
light, the people, the presence of God be cast out into the nations. Yeah. Yeah. Total paradigm shift, right? So you didn't get your faith, you didn't get your healing, you you didn't get anything. And so you either quit and leave or you double down, rationalize. I didn't have enough faith. It didn't happen to me because I was speaking wrong things. I wasn't worshiping hard enough. I opened a portal. You're determined that I can move up a new level. If I move up a new level, if I can find the key to breakthrough next
time, this isn't going to happen. So, what you do then is you write off anybody that doesn't agree with you. Any naysayers at all, cut them out of your life because you don't need that kind of stuff. And people lose their families over this stuff. You roll up your sleeves and you get right back to work. only this time you're deeper. Every revival you can find, you go to as many hours as you need to be locked away, even from your own family and family time to pray, you'll do it because you want to go up this new level. Every worship encounter, you're there. You're you're you got Post-it notes all over
the house in some cases because you're coming against the devil. He has to have an open door. So, I got to have reminders. It becomes this OCD craziness. more rules for you to now live by. Remember, salvation is by grace, which is a gift through faith, just belief. No feelings involved, no working involved. But here we are in the N hyperarismatic, feeling our way through a whole lot of work. This is wrong. This is backwards.
And so when you're in this and you fail and you fall in that second group that doubles down and rationalizes it all the way, you make more rules for yourself. you you add things to your to your list that you should be afraid of or that you should avoid because you're allowing the devil to override God's blessings when you do those things. So, those have got to go. You might listen to worship music every waking moment or just lose yourself looking for a fresh word, every prophet you can listen to and adjusting your life according to what these people
are saying that you don't even know. And some get into hours and hours and hours and hours of Bible study, but they're not teaching you how to study. So it turns into I'm circling certain words and I'm color coding things and I'm trying to find secret messages here in the Bible. No, we need a hermeneutical guide. And if you run off into the weeds without even knowing what you're looking at or how to look at it, assuming that the Holy Spirit will just when I open up my Bible, he'll take me right to the verse I need and he's going to speak some secret hidden message to me from this verse. That's the attitude we have.
That's the attitude I used to have. He'll just direct us to this one verse. It's going to open everything up with a brand new insight. But when you lock away from others though, a lot of your relationships start to suffer. When you cut people out of your life because they might be speaking negatively, we're actually rather than pleasing God, it's like a slap in the face to what God's will for our lives actually is. He's laid out very plain, very basic commands to all
of us that aren't patterned specifically. They're just patterned to groups. Husbands, wives, children, friends, enemies, neighbors, workers, bosses. He's laid out a whole bunch of commands. And when we live according to those, we don't have to worry about this other stuff. We don't have to work for anything. We can just trust God. either we'll get our healings or our breakthrough or our miracle or he'll give us the strength to continue on through it. But with that kind of stuff,
we actually start to cut other people out of our lives so we can spend more time soaking or praying or whatever. And we're ignoring these very plain and basic commands that teach us how to order our loves. We have God and as a husband, then my wife, then my children. I'm a pastor of a church. So, I have to order those right. Church doesn't come before my wife. My kids don't come before my wife. My church doesn't come before God or before my
kids. You see, when we order these correctly the way God's already laid this out, we prioritize certain things the right way. But that all goes out the window if we're chasing. And now we're not even pleasing God in the very basic stuff that he's created us to do. We'll neglect all kinds of responsibilities. We'll chase after a God who promised that he's going to take away all our troubles. a god who only exists in the minds of idolattors like in the n is not Christianity. The god they're presenting is not god as he's presented in
scripture. Therefore, it's an idol. That's the first and second reaction. People either leave or they double down and go nuts trying to continue chasing hanging on these promises and in 2015 the angels are coming and all that stuff just year after year hearing the same stuff. But the last group, and if you're watching this, that that probably includes you, the last group takes a step back and evaluates things with critical thinking, logic, common sense at the very least,
and starts asking questions, maybe to themselves at first, maybe to a trusted friend, maybe even to leaders or some a mentor that they have in the church. This group, this third group that's having their eyes open and starts to ask questions. Honestly, we're not trying to tear down God or or his word. You can't. So, there's no harm in that. There's no harm in asking questions. But this group here doesn't leave the faith. They know enough about the basics to know that they've had a real change of
life. They're on a different pattern now. They weren't just seeking only the goodies. They were genuinely seeking God and they've been regenerated. And and they usually are the ones that have their their eyes open or at least they're being drawn by the spirit at that point. Their eyes are starting to open. They might ask leadership what went wrong, but trying harder won't fool them again. And leaders seem to know it because they start to you turn into a pariah when you're asking the wrong questions or or asking the right questions the wrong
way. But people in this third group, they've been hurt deep enough. They've been hurt deep enough or often enough. They've seen so many people fall away, maybe even people in their own family, that they start to wonder if maybe something might be wrong with what they've been being taught. And they'd be right because God doesn't promise that all our troubles will be gone. In John 16:33, Jesus said, "I've said these things to
you that in me you may have peace. In the world you'll have tribulation, but take heart, I have overcome the world." He said in the world, you'll have tribulation. You'll have trouble. You'll have testing. You'll have pain. You'll have suffering. You'll have loss. You'll have grief. You'll have things not go your way. You'll you'll be targeted even sometimes. God doesn't promise to take any of that away. He just promises that he'll be with us and that he's overcome the world. And we're in Christ. We overcome, too. This is just a short in
an eternal perspective. What our time on earth is just a blip. But in this time, we have to use it very wisely to glorify God. Because then in the end, in eternity, when we're before the throne of God, when we're casting our crowns down before the feet of God, those rewards we get for all the times we've glorified God. And we glorify God not with a big ministry, just in obeying him. Those those basic truths that I listed earlier, do that and you're building up treasure
in heaven. Share the gospel, right? present a true God, not this genie God, but a real the real God as he is. Those are the things that God's looking at. And that accumulates reward, then we'll have a whole lot to show God for his investment. But we're going to have to endure some trouble here. There is no magic breakthrough keys or anointings that we can get that will cause us to leaprog all the trouble that we're going to have. Jesus said we'd have it. So, let's take him at his word and understand that
that he's with us. But not only that, God doesn't make us work harder. He calls us to trust and obey. And in that, there's not a lot of work. There's actually a lot of rest. Now, will we be busy for God? Better believe it. We're not saved by our good works, but we're saved to good works. Okay? So, we're doing a lot of work, but when we're doing it out of a spirit of gratitude, it's a lot different than when I'm doing it hoping to build up the faith. for doing it in a transactional
relationship between me and God. If I do this, God, you'll do that. No, there's none of that in the kingdom of God. Matthew 11:28, Jesus says, "Come to me all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." That doesn't sound like I will make you go to more services. Doesn't sound like I'll keep you busy four out of five week nights doing church stuff and then multiple services over the weekends. It doesn't sound like that. Hebrews talks a whole lot about rest. If you want to know about rest or the fact that Christ is our Sabbath,
he's who we rest in. He's the one that satisfied God by all the works of the law, we can't. So, we need his credited perfection in my account. So, it's as if I've never sinned, but it's not only that. It's as if I've not only never sinned, but as I as if I've completed the law of God. I've lived the law of God perfectly. That's what justification all entails. And so Hebrews talks about that resting. We're able to rest in
Christ. The works done. Now it's just works of gratitude, works of thanks, works to glorify God, but not to get things from God. That would that would look a lot more like Pharisees who are working to earn God's favor. We don't want to do that. God isn't also he's not depending on us. He's not depending on you whatsoever to give him legal authority to do anything. He doesn't need legal authority. He's the sovereign over all creation. Psalm 115:3 says, "Our God is in the heavens. He
does all that he pleases." That actually sounds almost casual. "Our God is in," it doesn't say like, "Our holy and righteous father decrees commands from his heavenly throne." That would sound a lot more like legal. No, our God's in the heavens. He does all that he pleases, whatever he wants, whenever he wants. Satan can't stop him. I can't stop him. You can't stop him. Even sometimes I've found in my life that I'm working in the opposite way.
Yet, we have a God that's sovereign over all things and providentially works within our even our mistakes to accomplish his will, his glory, his good, and our good ultimately to all those that are called according to his purpose. He He works good. But he does that despite our bad mistakes. That's pretty cool. He doesn't let the enemy overrule him. He doesn't let the enemy outclass him or
or sneak by him because we accidentally opened a portal. You know, first Peter, this one gets quoted a lot because roaring lion. But let me read the whole verse. First or the whole two actually. 1 Peter 5:9. Be sober minded. Be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion. seeking someone to re to devour. We we know that. Resist him. Firm in your faith. You have to have a foundation if you're going to be firm in any faith. Somebody's stories about what
God did in a third world country. That's not going to build your faith. They think it excites us and it gets us to listen to them longer and and keep following their directions, but that's not going to give us a firm foundation to stand on. Says, "Be firm in your faith knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world." Whoa. Wait a minute. In Christianity, there's a pretty deep theological truth here. This theology of suffering, God gives us
what we need and and shapes us during suffering. We actually need that because that's what keeps us close to God. Otherwise, if we never had suffering, we'd think we can just handle it all on our own. What do we need God for? He reminds us as a good father to us that we can't stray too far. We need him. We really can't do things in our own ability. Yeah, there's things we can do, but not with purpose, not eternal purpose, and not with the peace and joy that comes with just trusting God as we go through step by step. We're we're not worried as Christians about what's
happening next month, next year. We're constantly warned against that. We are taught to pray by Jesus for today. Let's just worry about today. James 4:7 says, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he'll flee from you." So, forget about opening portals. All I have to do is submit myself therefore to God by obeying the basic commands that he's taught all of us to do. And you specifically, if you're a husband or a wife or a kid or a worker, look at those. Learn how to live
that way. Submit yourself to God in those. Act accordingly. Learn to love, which is a choice, not a feeling. If you obey God in those ways, resist the enemy. I get a temptation. Don't Don't go with it. Resist. Resist. No, I'm not going to do that. Maybe you're addicted to porn. Close the phone. Throw the phone away if you need to. You might have to do something drastic, but resist the enemy. And the Bible says that he will flee from us. That temptation won't last forever, but we have to sometimes outlast it. I tell
our church all the time, when it comes to sin and temptation, if somebody was going to throw you in a car, you walk out to the parking lot and somebody's out there and they they try to tie you up and push you into a trunk of a car, what would you do? You would kick and bite and bite and spit and scream and roll and twist. You would do anything you can to get loose because you know that if you go into that trunk, you're probably not coming out alive. And if you do, it's not going to mean anything good. Well, sin is doing the same thing. The enemy is wanting to cap capture us. But we've been freed. So when we're in temptation,
fight like your life depends on it. And you will overcome. That's a promise from God. That's a real promise that you'll really see come to fruition. The big problem with this movement and they ar hypercharismatic and and any false Christian movement, any of the cults, is that false teachers pray on vulnerable people. And that's where they get us like addicts, like sick people, like poor people. They're promising us relief from what's hurting us. And
relief always appeals to people that have big problems, especially big problems that don't have easy solutions. If you've been to rehab three times, it sure would be nice to just be rid of this thing. I I remember the desperation that I went through and the NR thrives on big promises. So, people that need big promises fall right in. This isn't a new phenomenon. False teachers have been taking advantage of the people of God since the very beginning of the church. They It's
pretty well documented, especially since the 19th century. The charlatans, John G. Lake, uh, Charles Pum, you you can just go down the list and you see the same things that we're seeing in the N today back then. Big promises that excite people enough to start entire movements sometimes and in the end they fail to deliver on these promises.
For all this promise, how much is truly realized? You need to ask yourself if you're hanging on this long but you still believe in all the signs, wonders, all the I'm not saying God doesn't heal. I'm just saying like what Bethl pre preaches that everybody should be doing this all the time that these signs will follow those that believe in the disputed passage in Mark 16 for all the things you've been promised year after year every New Year's Day service. Every time an evangelist or a prophet's come to your church and pointed you out. Every time a brother or sister in Christ has pulled you aside to
give you something the Holy Spirit told them. Every time that revival's almost here, the breakthrough's here, the anointing's here, every time you've had something imparted to you, how much of that has been truly realized? And you can rationalize and believe because I did too. I believe that there was certain ways you could view these things that no, they did in fact happen. But how often are we forced to do that despite all the effort we've been putting out? This stuff should come easy at this point. It does for the leaders. But also, you need to ask yourself, how
often is disappointment a reality? How often do you have to rationalize? How tired are you from chasing and hoping? We're almost there. If we could just keep the momentum, I'm on the verge of a breakthrough. We're excited only to see that momentum that we've been building begin to slow back down. The worship service excitement was really good for a few weeks and now it's starting to die back down and we have to get it again. How many times do we need to feel as if we've failed God because
we didn't get what we were asking for or we didn't get the what we've been told we were going to get by one of these prophets. How many false starts have you had? How many times you felt like you were starting all the way over? How many times you've been almost there? How many promises that this is the year? How many personal prophecies fall apart and then you have to get back to rationalizing it again? But they really did happen if you see it like this. How long will you stay enslaved before you open up your eyes?
That's the real question. Because the N's God is a powerless God. A broken clock is right twice a day. So people can always claim that, well, I told a prophecy to this person. See, but there have been just way too many fall flat on your face failures from these signs and wonders and AR guys and gals. And if we're going to have any hope of
living any kind of peace, any kind of joy, any kind of satisfaction and fulfillment in our life, you're going to have to return to biblical Christianity where you don't have to chase. Biblical Christianity where you can actually rest. Biblical Christianity where you're investing in people in the relationships because you're living them God's way. And these are lasting relationships where we don't have problems. If you look at the state of the church, the divorce rate in the church, the amount of kids that leave each generation, something's wrong. And what's wrong is not biblical
scholarship or teaching people how to read the Bible or Bible studies or old-fashioned hymns or fellowship with other people in a in a a local assembly. That's not what's wrong with the church. What's wrong with the church is we're being offered a powerless God. A God who has not accomplished all these things that these stories would have us believe and and a God that looks radically different in the N than he does in his
in his own word. We have to return to the truth. It seems like a boring much more calm, but it it it's boring in a good way. you don't work yourself to death. And there's a lot of satisfaction at the end of the day knowing that I pleased God. Even though if I didn't speak to thousands, even if I didn't have an international ministry, I pleased God because I loved my wife the way I'm supposed to. I apologize for something stupid I said and I owned it. I didn't excuse it. I just owned it. That glorifies God. I spent a little bit of time with my kids
today. I encouraged them. I maybe even taught them a little something about who God is. Man, that glorifies God. That's big ministry. N would have us believe that's just okay. Yeah, that's fine. But but what we really want is the the billion soul harvest. God can handle all that. God can handle when revival comes. God can handle whenever he wants to heal. We can ask him, but we're not going to be able to do things to make him. And that's the case in a lot of the N teaching. It it
sounds like a really big powerful God, but if you really look closely at what they're teaching, it all depends on you. That's not the God we serve. The God we serve offers freely out of his riches, grace upon grace upon grace, forgiveness, mercy, strength, peace, joy, contentment, fulfillment, comfort, companionship, community. It's all there. It's in the boring looking at first biblical Christianity, but it's
really rewarding. My wife and I were talking not too long ago about I get my time messed up. Had a couple of years there where it's really hazy and so just kind of throwing everything from there there on out. In fact, I lost a whole year one time. I thought I was turning one age and I was actually turning the year older and I panicked for a minute. But uh but we were talking about how long this has been. And as I look back over this time that I've really served the Lord, not chasing like I used to
with all this, but when I've really found my place just before God, living a very simple existence, man, there's been more fulfillment in this than ever because I've got time to notice what he's doing. I got time to to spend with him that I enjoy. It's not that I'm trying to fill my entire day reading out of the Bible or soaking. I'm just as I go, aware that God's with me, talking to him as I go, representing him every chance I get. And
as you look back from that, I don't see years and years of regret, of missed opportunity, of times that I blew it or opened the wrong portal. What I see is God staying true to his word and doing everything that he said he would in his word in me. He's growing me up. It's been hard. Sometimes I would rather have gotten out of things, but he's made me walk through them. I've come out stronger because of it. And I'm just one little story. There are thousands and thousands of people, millions of Christians since the beginning that it
could have the same story. And because of what God is doing in us foundationally in these small ways, then when we do get to the big stuff, whether God decides to deliver us from it or carry us through it, it won't make a difference to the person because we're equipped to handle it. And that's what God wants for us. He doesn't need us to hit home runs. He just wants us to get the bat on the ball. And the N's false god demands an awful lot from you and doesn't give you a whole lot in return. The God of the universe, Yahweh, the
sovereign God who sent his son to die for you, freely gives all that he has to his own children. And he just asked for our trust and obedience in return. I can do that. You can do that. So, let's get doing that. And uh if you liked what I had to say, please like, share, subscribe, tell me your story about how you got out. My wife and I look at these comments and I got to say, man, they are just amazing to read. The stories of people waking up and coming out. God's doing a real work
right now. And it might not be a billion soul harvest, but he sure is waking up a lot of people and open up a lot of eyes. If you didn't like what I had to say, I thank you for watching this long. And I hope that I put a pebble in your shoe that when you do hit the wall and become one of those three categories that you'll be the third that sits back, steps back, evaluates things with the brain that God gave you and comes to the same conclusion that I have and that many other Christians are. The God you are presented is not the God of the scripture, but the God of scripture will
surpass any of your wildest dreams about who he is. So, hope you'll come back and join me again next time. I thank you for spending a little bit of time with me this this week and see you again soon. Later., The NAR Trap: Exposing Their Powerless God, YouTube, 01knvqffqaj5anv7b9fqxxz02w.
