Paraphrased Paragraphs:
Paragraph 1:
Establishing a connection between two WordPress websites is the first step in content synchronization. This involves configuring the settings to determine when and how the content will be transferred.
Paragraph 2:
There are two main methods for transferring content between two WordPress websites: importing and exporting. Importing is the process of transferring content from the source website into the destination website, while exporting is the process of transferring content from the destination website to the source website.

###### It's I don't know what time is it for you?
###### It's like 11pm Yeah,
###### breezy. I haven't. I haven't make it up that late at night.
###### Yeah, we count time like we say it's 23 o'clock that's why I was like thinking, yeah, it's 11 vam
###### so when you're about to get weird Tiana because we have in the US, those of us that don't live in Arizona will have daylight saving time change coming up soon.
###### Yes, I saw that. And actually, I have the same change here. But it's later on. It's I think about the near the end of the month or something like that. So it's, it's, I have a few time I have I need to reschedule some meetings a few times. Because they keep like staying in my timezone and reschedule them. So yeah. Okay, I think we all are, we're all here. So if you want we can just chat a little bit about our plans and content strategies for winning workers this year. So basically, I saw Courtney that you're you have some new product, not new projects, but improvements. For learn that it will be added to WordPress dashboard.
###### Yeah, so what one of the things coming up i i am a Developer Advocate inside of the field marketing team. As part of that requirement is contributing to WordPress, the open source project and my role is heavily involved with the docs and training team. I meet frequently I fielded a request actually while at WordCamp. Asia about a week and a half ago when I get home from Josepha hidden Java C. who is the Executive Director of the open source project. For more support contributing to docs and training material, I'll give you all a very so so that you're aware. GoDaddy does support contributing to WordPress the open source project and what that looks like? So the areas that I'm referring to are wordpress.org/support/articles here, and then developer.wordpress.org and
[email protected]. So this is user facing support articles. This whole section is undergoing a redesign right now. This just got part of the redesign, but it's also up for redesign, we'll just say. So these are the developer facing articles versus user facing articles. Those are traditional docs. They get written as part of every release, I participate in helping create some of those docs, but more so you could find me at the top of all of WordPress that work as
[email protected]. WordPress is beginning the on ramp toward certifications. The learn website has four different content types that are on it. We have tutorials which are short form videos, we have lesson plans that are a meetup organizer or an educator could come and get an entire set of directions how to teach the topic. We also have courses and those courses will be the on ramp toward official WordPress certification. And further down we also can see that there are some upcoming meetings, things zoom and slack as a meetup setup, and I helped present some of those types of things. These events are already showing in all wordpress admin dashboards. There will be some asked for people within GoDaddy as long as we are not overtly selling there. We could go in we could go into Security and say here's some security tips related to WordPress. We can hold events in those places. Those are currently available in all North America dashboards. They will soon become available based on a proposal that I think is going to pass with flying colors globally. That can be in any language anywhere around the globe and it shows up when you go to it if I am looking at here is a site that I maintain this for the training team and others I can get oh doesn't want to show me the ah All right. Well then we'll go through my my to my personal go into one of my sites, um, sites real quick. So the area that I will be talking about this is a pretty blank site. I haven't done anything with it yet. But it's a temporary site. So the area that we're referring to is that when you see this admin dashboard here, these WordPress events and news are the things that come you can see that this one that says online that's coming from learn WordPress. So if I click through I can see that's coming from learn WordPress. What is currently being proposed is a widget similar to this minus the events that would showcase the content coming from
[email protected]. And so that would be very visible to all and I have been working with actually Aman is kind of involved in this Aman and Bala. And so Bala is our VP of manage WordPress as a platform that's part of his title. So in that case, we are working towards how GoDaddy shows up and contributes to WordPress. You know, we were called that existential threat last summer. We were called out for not contributing much in terms of staffing and resourcing. So what has been kind of underway is ways to help managers on block contributing to the docks and training team that makes those resources, ways to empower us that whether we are full time doing this or part time ad hoc that we could contribute to those areas. And we're fielding requests from other take that hat off me as training team, former co rep of the team full time like I contribute a lot to this team. We're starting to field requests from other hosts and from places like Artie camp, which is a big agency based out of India, about bringing some of their materials in so consolidating this effort of everyone instead of reproducing the same basics of WordPress, consolidating that to the official WordPress resources making those resources be absolutely top notch. Then each of the companies specializing in what they specialize in GoDaddy talking hub GoDaddy talking pro Academy you know, those kinds of resources and people will get to know us for being that outstanding contributor and if we miss out on being the ones to chopping attribute as other companies are starting to that would also not look favorably upon us, given our past history of how we've contributed to the project. So that's a bit of what brings me here but also what brings me here is looking at our I write content for the garage about every release, I can help advise what goes on to the help site. I'm very closely tied to the release process in WordPress. So I know when we've got major feature changes and I've had staff come to me and say, we had in Karen support. I feel that this question, I didn't know that there was this big overhaul that happened and I did not answer that client's question properly. So that's part of what brings me thanks Tijana
###### thanks, Courtney and Susan and Erica roles and Laurie as well our managers for our help center. So if you want I'm just like having panelists here to share a bit more about what are we doing and how we impact our customers and how are we planning to win workers or do you want me to continue explaining this?
###### We can do a round table of introductions if that's helpful. Yeah, thanks. Yeah, I mean, I'll kick off I managed the digital guidance team. So that is the entire group of content contributors writer so you know, Tiana is one of the obviously the WordPress writer who create all the help articles for the Help Center and we manage experiences on the site as well. We also manage everybody writes program, which is our community contribution model across GoDaddy. So we have teams who create content that shows up as articles in the Help Center. I'm going to I'm not going to go too much deeper all defer to others to get into the when WordPress and how that falls underneath. But that is the high level of what I do.
###### know I've been since I report up to Susan, so Tijana in the reports to me, she is responsible for WordPress really content. Daniel, who is responsible for our Managed WordPress content also reports to me, along with three others writers for other products. That makes me the seller or I'm also the manager so our sponsor forgot with a title for our managed work or when WordPress initiative which Tiana is heading up. So those are the basics as far as that launch scenario that you were describing. The way we are connected with those as each writer has a relationship with their product team to make sure that content is updated in time or in coordination with any product launches. not aware of any problems with that process right now. For what care knows. We have a there's a different group that takes care of that. They used to be known as channel they're now CPOE. So yeah, if that specific scenario did happen, or in that scenario where it did fail, they would want to know about that. Because I'm not aware of that it think issues there but they would certainly want to know if your agents are not getting the information that they should.
###### Yeah, I just want to pile on one more thing just to clarify, you know, our key KPI is containment. If you think about what the product experiences, people should be able to find what they're doing because the products are just so intuitive and easy to use. And then occasionally when that does not happen, they have to go and get search, search help to find information and that is where our beginning of that journey is. So we do focus a lot on how are people what are they queering on the site, how are they getting to the Help Contents? Like what are their top intents and we do look at external SEO as well. And making sure that for every intent, we have a good answer and then we follow that path down in terms of how is the content actually performing and isn't doing its job and do they contact via chat or a call? Do they contact care? And that is our containment rate. If our containment rate is high, that's a good thing. If it's low, that's an area that we really put a lot of attention on. So it's gap analysis like filling gaps, making sure that top attendees have answers and making sure that when we give them an answer, it's a good answer and that we get them back to doing what they were doing in the product. So most of our content strategy is very centered around responding to customer data. Looking at guide feedback. And of course launch support looking out a little bit further and seeing okay, what what's coming next that we need to make sure that we have a content response for before customers or go and start looking for it.
###### And all of that is largely motivated by under the surface, it's to save the company money. You know, customers that don't contact our care, but are enabled to be successful using our content. It costs us less money. They also are the people that use our content tend to be more successful. With the product. Unfortunately, only about 10% of the customers actually use our content. But you know, it's to understand why we do the stuff we do know it is largely we help stop those contacts from happening. And empower those customers. So they don't have to sit on hold. You know that's what we are trying to accomplish.
###### And also one thing that is related, I will sorry I interrupted but I should let Lori and Brian introduced maybe first and then we can chat about about this further on because I wanted to say something but I'll say it later so Laurie around if you want to go next
###### shareholder Ben So Lori Johnson, I lead the customer education team, excuse me in our team primarily focuses on creating video content. So on the Help Center we have our whole How To video courses that we use for all of our products. We do have one Course for WordPress which is currently undergoing updates which you and I chatted a little already in the WordPress channel. I'm so sorry. I have a typical today. Our team also focuses on onboarding contents currently so we're in the process of creating onboarding courses we haven't dove into in WordPress courses yet but that is something that is on our plate to look at this year. And again, like our onboarding courses provide not only the how to do it, but it's like the extra guidance along the way. So if you're going to be adding an adult section for example, like what are the things that you should be included in your about section and think about not just how to actually go and do it type of thing. So those are kind of our big things. We also have our own health center YouTube channel. And we're gonna jump into short form videos as well. So that's kind of the next thing that we're gonna test into starting this
###### year. And Brian Yeah, yeah, we're gonna go to Laurie and the customer education team and manage the YouTube channel, and also content creator and strategist for the team. That's about it.
###### I should mention Laurie very briefly. I've been invited by LinkedIn learning to create a course with them. I haven't made the time quite yet to make good on that. But I am connected personally also with a lot of LinkedIn learning instructors, friends of mine. Awesome.
###### Thank you all for introducing yourself and telling you a little bit about digital guidance. I wanted to say something about digital carers the whole because digital care is a buffer between our customers and our classical care. So to say old school care that answers the phones and chats like human care, so to say. And there we are actually comprised of three units. One of them is chat bots, and chat and chat would actually helps our customers without having the need to actually contact the agent. So basically, our content when somebody goes to GoDaddy and start chatting with our chatbot if they have an issue with WordPress, they're actually expecting to get some kinds of answers. If the issue is relatively simple. We're, we're using our resources like video resources and also help content to try to buffer so to say the number of contexts to care because contract to actual care, human care is much more expensive than contact to chatbot or reading an article or watching a video. So therefore, these people are already at GoDaddy, this help center so to say in a way, and they're expecting GoDaddy to help them out and this is why because WordPress is integral part of many of our products work Managed WordPress to begin with. Then we have new WooCommerce stores, which is also a variation of managed wordpress. And we have a big chunk of people, customers which are using WordPress and SEO in cPanel, as well as on blast. WordPress became a sought to say not the product of GoDaddy but a product that Gouda does customers have questions about when they contact GoDaddy? And therefore as GoDaddy we're trying to serve them? Basic things like most commonly asked question to answer their most commonly asked questions and help them out with most commonly faced issues in a concise way, we're just like trying to provide them instant help for the issues that are here. This is like 80 or 90% of our Help Center basically task articles which are following customers through so they can complete specific tasks they are searching for, to begin with. So basically, if they don't know how to install WordPress, we are saying you can install WordPress by doing this, this and this as concise as it's necessary for them to to finish the task. Also, we have troubleshooting articles. Which are there to replace so to say human help in the case that customer is willing to try to fix something themselves because some customers come into panic mode, so to say when they when they end up with a broken website or something like that. Our metrics are about 90 for general WordPress. Yes, and also brands for branded look and feel for for videos as well. And for general WordPress content which is not related to manage WordPress or 20 Gouda this product, we are stopping so to say 92% for last year. These are metrics 92% of customers that attended to intended to contact care actually ended up reading an article and fixing or doing something themselves. So also, another thing that's important is JCR because out of our articles. We also can direct customers to purchase something not intentionally we will not say selling something to customer it's not that but they're when they're introduced with the product in a way that engages them to use the product they're actually more likely to purchase something else for example, with WordPress they will purchase domains with WordPress they might purchase I don't know security or something else with WordPress and cPanel. So basically, we have for last year, we have about $3 million through earned to godaddy from GCR. I just looked at the data just to make sure that I'm not like exaggerating something or diminishing something there. So basically our content is here just to either buffer. Educate in a way but help customers to task and orient them where to go. In a sense if they want to build a website we have Get Started series that give them step by step instructions where to go and what to do on the WordPress dashboard. If they want to install a plug in we have like from signing to WordPress until your plugin is installed now just the steps and also other than that, we have I already mentioned that troubleshooting and some but only a bit of more advanced content like WP CLI and so on. But this is also done in a way that's like step by step, intro paragraph and last paragraph and that's it. So it is not our Help Center is not built like a course or tutorial. Mainly like 90% of that is not even similar to something that's learned. It's just step by step guide. Do this, this and this and by you're done. You didn't contact care you purchase something additional if you need it. And that's it. So basically it's more like complimentary to learn than its competition to learn in my opinion. I don't know yeah
###### when we look at the the really basics of vanilla WordPress like here's how to install plain worth a spot I think good it would excel really well in is going through the new onboarding wizard that we see for managed WordPress hosting where it spins up with chlobo CodeBlocks and go theme having more material around using our products CodeBlocks and go theme and what that experience looks like I think absolutely we should for sure own that and do that in conjunction perhaps with the pro academy that is being worked on with Christina Romero. But then I also think the plain vanilla WordPress install, like how to use the block editor, how to write an about page, those types of things where we see that this is something that is common to everything and if there are times where this could be said this, this piece of information is common to everything. Then let's look at having that submitting that per the guidelines also to wordpress.org and it does allow for we can't have like our logo hard coded to the video. But if we have a person presenting that happens to have it on their shirt just small and their bio shows up as they are sponsored by GoDaddy blah, blah blah, we are able to do those types of things. So those tutorial videos like the areas of tutorial videos might be a good start for that. And then also looking at if we wanted to put together one complete course we're using an LMS on WordPress as well. So maybe we come in and we offer to create the first course that's around security. And we stick to some things that are pretty general but that people would notice that it was one of our people from security that put that together or something to that effect. That's kind of the idea that's there. And then also Laurie as it as the videos come out for help, the help videos. I know there was quite a bit of lag between WordPress released an entire new theme editing experience and it's been out for a little over a year. So I'd like to work with you possibly on ways that we can I read a post every time on the garage I've always already got one up for six to about the features that are coming in the next version. But to sort of assess because I look at this for all of learn. I'm the one that triage is on Learn WordPress, everything that needs to get updated on that whole site by the team. So that's something that maybe begin form some better relations on like, Okay, now what else does GoDaddy have that might also need to be reflected because, well, they changed the look of that one button but if you're a new user, that's a big deal.
###### Right? Yeah, that would be amazing for our team. Yeah, and I'm sure Tijana would also benefit from that for her articles as well.
###### Can you share when you get time it doesn't have to be right now but when you get a chance, a couple of those garage articles specifically so I can take a look at them. And the reason why I'm asking is because I'm working with Alicia Leno on they're changing their content strategy for the blog. Yeah, and a lot of the product content may not live on the garage in the long term and it may be a path where you end up backpack hunting our team. That's something we're trying to figure out now is like what is that strategy for really defining those swim lanes and understanding what content should go where and then what's the process for to actually incorporating that. So I I just like to use that as a reference for myself when I'm talking to her. You know, this might fall in that category.
###### Yeah, we saw a big lift on 6.0. But that was again because we had social. Our entire GoDaddy Pro social handle was stones focused on the WordPress content and they have all been laid off. Along with our AV department. They had done a good bit of very targeted boosting and running sponsored on a lot of these posts and we use that as also a way to feature I think understanding that it's not just the how tos of doing the thing but it's also a showcase of it is important to GoDaddy is reputation in the WordPress community. And even from a threat perspective, I would say Charles Vidal has been talking about understanding our open source efforts all over in GoDaddy from a like threat security awareness. It is concerning to have the co founder of WordPress, throwing GoDaddy under the bus repeatedly because GoDaddy brings two people full time sponsored and a couple people like myself when we have capacity to go contribute. And so we also use those garage posts to highlight not just the that this is here are the changes, but it's also and GoDaddy is showing up in this way to do the work of those changes and that current post for six two will evolve. We are sponsoring full time one of the release leads there are about eight people that are in leadership roles on that release. And we are sponsoring one of them full time George and we make some promotions out of that out of the field team we have events and such for that as well. So it's to really highlight that this is the software is possible because of a community and part of that community involves making sure people have time and resources to do that work. And here's how GoDaddy is showing up in those regards. So there's it's a little more nuanced than just here's the software and the changes. But yes, we'd love to chat through that. I gave a link also to that chat bot just so people know. WP docstoc chat is a new thing that I've got on my radar. Literally this is the onset of WordPress and diving into AI and it is going to be a SaaS based system that will you can program what content you want this chatbot eventually to know it's an early stages Aaron just released it his building in public. So give it a couple more months because it's only got out like two three weeks. But what it does is it pulls the official resources from wordpress.org Whether that's stocks or training content, it pulls those resources first. And also you could queue it up to then additionally have your what he's working on now is we completed the garage we considered our YouTube channels, we could feed it our help area. And there any knowledge base it could be all of our products, like the knowledge base for all of the WordPress things that we've got. And then when somebody goes to search, if it is something that is officially WordPress created, it just links right to that. If this is like a support article from wordpress.org it will give you the link to that as the resource. So it helps with streamlining some of that again early phases but if anyone here is in m&a type of work and wants to meet Aaron, I can make a connection for you. It looks interesting. There'll be more like it coming soon. I think
###### it's funny because like I've been really been playing with the chat GBT a lot and so like the first question after you sent the link I was like What are the five must have plugins for a restaurant site but it can't answer me.
###### Yeah, right now it's just, it's gonna scrape whatever is available in.org support articles and learn which we try to keep those actually quite free of any any, any body any companies because those are the official just WordPress vanilla install. If you hit that little circle that's in the search bar. It's not obvious people give him feedback this morning on a podcast, hit that little search circle that's there and it will give you to show you kind of questions about my site
###### but yeah, no, I haven't ever done that.
###### Yeah, right. Yep. So again, very early phases, but that's something cool that I think technology for us, we'll be there in probably just a few months, not just with this one version, but there's probably going to be competitors to a good idea. So
###### tell us a little bit more about like the wordpress.org like the support articles and whatnot, just overall the content strategy there and what makes that distinct. You know, I know you kind of to ask some questions like how do we prioritize things? I mean, we have a certain way of like looking at, like, how are we being measured, and we align our content strategy accordingly. And I'm sure you know, wordpress.org has something and I'm sure there's, you know, let's go back to a Venn diagram. I'm sure there's overlap, we can optimize and then there's going to be things that are unique to wordpress.org. And there's going to be things that are unique that we do really well so I wonder if you can share your perspective on that.
###### Yeah. So in in WordPress, there is the the big ask from just EFA, Executive Director of the project is more resourcing for Docs and learn training. So that's it as a director of the project. Her job is to steward or care for what the project itself needs. And I happen to closely work on these two teams. Every time that there's a release, they are the first people to know what's changing in the release. They are the ones that write the source material that we refer to later. There is a big push that as much as we can have ready at release. We want to have ready at release. That is the official information available. I have also worked in knowledge base work at I worked at the events calendar, which is a WordPress plugin company for four years have I handled their intel entire knowledge base. So I speak from some experience of some of these things. What becomes unique then at GoDaddy is like I said in our managed WordPress hosting is that wizard experience and what we do with CodeBlocks and go that's something that's unique that would help a DI wire to get a quick site done, right that's that's the kind of a DIY ER or a side hustler Pro that just wants turnkey. That's who's gonna go through that wizard. And so, di wires that don't really know WordPress giving them some more of those guardrails that is unique certainly for us are also in our managed WordPress hosting, we have Gravity Forms included, and so there's a partnership with that particular plugin. There might be some settings that are unique to us that are available or why we might recommend some of the pre installed there's a few pre installed plugins. Absolutely recommending those things. Additionally, since a lot of us are Americans think think holistically about this one. The WordPress group has the polyglots team. They are the translators to translate the software that translate the about page they've translate as much as they can have the docs and the training materials. So we're leveraging a global community that is doing the work of making their content globally accessible and what that could look like. So it's Jana has actually done a great job of helping on one of our translator days for some of that as well. Getting some things that were in the Serbian which was great. So I think the overlap that's in there you know, the the, the super vanilla, parts of WordPress, the things that are just super common to WordPress that's always in there where we could stand to make some ground making waves as we're contributing resources and doing that overlap is to learn the style guidelines for.org and the boundaries of.org but ensuring that those basic articles that are absolutely vanilla, were press like no bells and whistles, nothing setting about GoDaddy that if they need to be updated, because there's an update coming. Well, let's do that and take care of updating our own articles too., WordPress content sync, Courtney Robertson, 01gtyt23mzr9k7ma28a25yzr4e.
