leaving that of our [67:48] of our home [67:49] church and um we were just married [67:53] i think we were nine months married when [67:55] we when we had to go and it was the [67:57] hardest time in our lives [68:02] and jonah jonah wasn't born yet and we [68:05] left that church [68:06] and we called we called jen's dad and [68:10] jen and we said we need to find our [68:11] church right away [68:13] uh because we didn't want to go time [68:15] feeling comfortable not going to church [68:18] and so we took one sunday off and then [68:20] we said okay [68:22] roger tell us where to go where do we [68:24] have to go to church and say [68:25] listen you need to go to gateway [68:28] christian fellowship [68:29] in connecticut that's where you have to [68:31] go and [68:33] we were living in queens it was an hour [68:34] and 15-minute drive from where we were [68:37] we were we were just it was just me and [68:39] jen so whatever on a sunday morning we [68:41] get up we drive out to connecticut [68:42] we go to church and we just hang out and [68:45] we were in the most broken [68:47] state that we can be we're in so much [68:49] pain [68:50] and we wound up a gateway christian and in that 30-year journey i have had [74:14] the privilege of [74:15] of i i'm sure i probably haven't [74:19] memorized now [74:20] i've been able to look at it in the [74:22] hebrew manuscripts [74:24] i've been able to now translate it into [74:26] the passion translation it was the very [74:28] first book [74:29] that i tackled in this project [74:32] that was 11 years ago and i can tell you [74:36] that it is the sweetest song you'll ever [74:38] hear [74:40] it's not the greatest song of solomon [74:43] it's the greatest song of all [74:49] and how i wish every songwriter and really from the lord [92:12] i really feel from heaven that the lord [92:14] is saying these scriptures to this [92:16] church we actually sang [92:17] some of the truth from it now is the [92:20] time to arise didn't we sing that [92:22] and that some of our lyrics and i want [92:25] to talk about [92:26] this in chapter two so [92:30] um how many of you have jesus figured [92:34] out [92:37] no about the time you think you know him [92:42] he will come in a way you don't know [92:44] you've never experienced [92:46] out of your uh comfort zone in chapter [92:50] one he's the sweet savior he's the [92:52] sole satisfier he's the you know the [92:55] shepherd [92:56] he's the lover and he comes to lead [92:59] gently his flock you know [93:01] and she says i want you i don't want all rafters and [93:38] the balconies of [93:39] eternity what a wonderful way to end [93:42] chapter one but in chapter two [93:44] suddenly he comes to her in a way [93:49] she can't believe he comes [94:09] she's sitting on her couch chapter one [94:13] she said draw me and i will go after you [94:15] i will respond if you will tug [94:18] my heart i will go with you anytime [94:20] anywhere and i know you all have said [94:22] that a few times [94:25] and then he comes and she doesn't want [94:28] to go [94:31] so she hears him his lo [94:34] her lover's voice it's him coming to her [94:38] over me is love [95:00] and the mountain of insecurity the [95:02] mountain of hiding and [95:04] of i'm not good enough and when is this [95:06] going to be resolved and [95:08] the mountains of distraction come on [95:11] he's leaping effortlessly over [95:14] everything that intimidates her [95:16] everything that limits her everything [95:18] that holds her back [95:19] and keeps her bound to status quo [95:26] leaping in love over the hills that [95:28] separate us verse nine [95:32] she describes him but i want you to jump [95:35] to the place here [95:36] that he comes closer you see it you can [95:38] see it on the screen or [95:40] on your app or whatever it says he comes [95:42] closer [95:44] even to the places where i hide he comes [95:47] to your hiding place [95:49] now the hebrew is actually behind our [95:51] wall [95:52] he he comes while i'm behind my wall he [95:56] comes there and that's where we hide [95:59] and god is targeting your hiding places [96:02] and we you to prove to you [100:10] that the season has changed number one [100:14] the bondage of your barren winter has [100:16] ended [100:18] bondage is over the barren winter where [100:21] everything revelation of god [117:35] the truths the meat of the word of god [117:38] her cheeks [117:39] is her countenance it's where emotion [117:41] her emotional life [117:42] is displayed and she's wholesome she's [117:45] her cheeks are [117:46] opened like blushing pomegranates she's [117:49] not closed down she's not shut down [117:52] she's approachable he can reach into her [117:55] heart
