The new positioning emphasizes "the professional standard for web creation" and prominently features agency and enterprise navigation options. The rebrand introduces "Elementor One," a bundled subscription that consolidates their various products (page builder, AI tools, image optimization, accessibility features, email deliverability) into single pricing tiers. For agencies, this moves from $33 to $37 monthly (launch price, will be $45) for unlimited sites, while single-site plans range from $14-19 monthly. This positioning shift appears connected to the upcoming Elementor v4 "atomic editor," which adopts a CSS-first, classes-based approach similar to professional tools like Webflow and Bricks. The rebrand's visual language—featuring agency environments and enterprise clients—reinforces this professional focus. The strategic question is whether Elementor can successfully transition from serving both beginners and professionals to primarily targeting the professional market, especially as AI builders capture more beginner users. ## 🗒️ Notes #### ⏱️ [00:00](https://youtu.be/Ys0fmTHkS2o?t=0) — [H1] Initial Observations of New Website - Key idea: Immediate shift toward professional positioning visible in hero imagery - Evidence: "These look like professionals. The page builder giant is clearly pivoting from their "builder for everyone" approach to target agencies and enterprises specifically. **Key Changes:** - **Visual Identity**: New professional-focused website featuring agency environments - **Elementor One**: Bundled subscription combining all products for $37/month (agencies) or $14/month (single sites) - **Strategic Messaging**: Emphasis on "professional standard" rather than beginner accessibility **What This Means for You:** The bundled pricing actually offers great value—you get their page builder plus AI tools, image optimization, accessibility features, and email deliverability for just $4 more than the previous unlimited plan. No more juggling multiple subscriptions or dealing with upgrade prompts in the editor. This positioning shift likely prepares for Elementor v4's "atomic editor"—a CSS-first approach similar to Webflow and Bricks that appeals to professional developers. **Questions to Consider:** Will this strategy work as AI builders capture more beginner users? How will existing users adapt to the professional focus? **Resources**: [Learn WordPress](https://learn.wordpress.org/), [Developer Docs](https://developer.wordpress.org/), [WP-CLI](https://wp-cli.org/) ## ✅ Action Items #### WordPress - The "Elementor One" bundled pricing offers compelling value for existing users while the new positioning prepares for their upcoming v4 atomic editor. This shift reflects broader WordPress ecosystem changes as AI builders capture beginner users and professional developers demand more sophisticated tools. For current Elementor users, the bundled pricing provides better value and simplified billing, but the long-term success of this strategy depends on whether Elementor can maintain market share while narrowing their target audience. WordPress professionals should monitor how this repositioning affects the broader page builder landscape and consider how their own service offerings might need to adapt to increasingly segmented user needs. ## 🧱 Refactor Appendix ### 📚 Literature Split Pad Purpose: Stage CEE units that become Literature notes. I heard they have
[00:05] new pricing, and it looks like a new
[00:08] focus. I haven't checked out the website
[00:10] yet, so I was like, I'm just going to
[00:11] turn on the camera. We're going to walk
[00:13] through this new website together. I
[00:15] have a feeling this is preparation for
[00:17] Elementor V4. But, let's just get into
[00:19] it. The first thing that immediately
[00:22] caught my eye was the background video.
[00:25] These look like professionals. Here we
[00:27] have a literal agency in the background.
[00:31] So this already feels different from the
[00:33] builder for anyone, right? And also
[00:36] interesting what they're doing here with
[00:37] the copy, the most powerful website
[00:39] builder, you. So this is kind of like
[00:41] Apple marketing acting like the
[00:43] competitors don't even exist because
[00:45] it's all about you, the user. That is
[00:48] something that I like. Also, here at the
[00:50] top, we see agency and enterprise. Two
[00:53] full dedicated buttons which weren't
[00:55] there. And now look at the logo. I don't
[00:58] know if that was necessary, but it kind
[01:00] of like gives me a taggy kind of
[01:02] feeling. I don't know. Kind of cool.
[01:04] Let's start scrolling. And oh, look at
[01:07] that. The professional standard for web
[01:10] creation. Yeah, I was right. They're
[01:12] moving more towards professionals. And
[01:15] it's kind of cool that they're
[01:16] immediately showing us what they can do
[01:20] when you start scrolling with these cool
[01:22] animations because WordPress has this
[01:24] kind of image that you cannot create
[01:26] cool work with WordPress but they're
[01:29] immediately showing like hey look we
[01:30] have wait
[01:33] let me refresh. Okay this is better. So
[01:37] yeah, here we're seeing the actual
[01:39] builder. Create professional websites
[01:42] with complete creative control. Pixel
[01:45] perfect editing, engage and capture. I
[01:48] guess that's their email marketing.
[01:50] Dynamic by design. Okay. Image
[01:52] optimization.
[01:54] Accessibility. It looks like it's all
[01:56] part of the package now. Driving the
[01:58] next decade of WordPress creation. Here
[02:01] we can see something about managing
[02:02] websites. So they have, of course, their
[02:05] own hosting. It looks like they're also
[02:07] selling domains now or not. I'm not so
[02:09] sure yet. Email deliverability. They
[02:12] have a separate plug-in for that. Grow
[02:14] your agency, not your overhead. Yeah,
[02:16] very agency focus. Wow, what a big
[02:20] shift. The enterprise standard for
[02:23] WordPress websites. Wow. Wait, are these
[02:26] websites made with Elementor or is this
[02:28] just WordPress websites? Because these
[02:30] websites are huge. Look at that.
[02:33] Okay, some testimonials.
[02:36] Hey, the sticky food that I also made a
[02:38] tutorial about. They have it now with
[02:40] the rounded corners even. Maybe they
[02:43] even watch my tutorial.
[02:45] I don't think so. Okay. I'm just very
[02:48] curious to the agency page because the
[02:51] homepage kind of feels like an agency
[02:53] page already. Whoa. What is this?
[02:55] Introducing Elementor 1. All tools you
[02:58] need to create. Okay. Okay. Maybe a
[03:00] little bit later. I first want to check
[03:01] it out. Launchpad for scalable growth.
[03:05] Okay. We see the AI tool here that they
[03:07] built which many of us know from Reloom.
[03:10] Bring your client's vision to life.
[03:13] Okay. All right. What is there under the
[03:15] enterprise button? An enterprise
[03:17] solution for big ambitions. Oh, you can
[03:20] contact them or a demo. Okay. So, if
[03:23] agencies are thinking about working with
[03:27] Elementor, they can book a demo or a
[03:30] call with them. Huh? 21 million websites
[03:35] already with Elementor. Wow. 13% of all
[03:38] the websites in the world are made with
[03:40] Elementor. Wow, that's incredible. Road
[03:43] map. Oh, I want to see the road map. Is
[03:45] it already live? Okay. No, it's not live
[03:48] yet, unfortunately.
[03:49] Let's check out the products tab, which
[03:52] is different. Now, a theme AI. This
[03:55] still feels like a lot. Manage cookies
[03:58] consent coming soon. They're also
[04:00] building a cookie consent plugin. So
[04:02] far, very interesting. And have you
[04:04] noticed that the pink is even more
[04:07] bright right now than what it was
[04:09] before? Let's compare it to the older
[04:12] website. So, I went back to Wayback
[04:14] Machine and this is the older website,
[04:18] which is more generic, right? Build a
[04:20] website, create your future. that
[04:22] doesn't mean a lot. But here they are
[04:24] positioning themselves as the most
[04:26] powerful builder even though they're
[04:28] saying, "Hey, it's actually you." But
[04:30] the whole website of course screams
[04:32] professional. So that is a huge shift in
[04:36] positioning. And I feel like they've
[04:38] been moving towards this for quite some
[04:40] time now. If you've been following my
[04:42] live streams, then you know that I've
[04:43] been playing around with the new version
[04:44] of Elementor 4, version 4, which is
[04:47] called the atomic editor. This is a much
[04:49] more professional approach which we know
[04:51] from uh some more professional builders
[04:54] like web flow or bricks where you work
[04:56] with a classes first mindset. So a CSS
[04:59] first mindset. Elementor is also moving
[05:02] towards this. So they probably made this
[05:04] decision a while ago and they're now
[05:06] just adjusting the brand to this new
[05:10] editor that's coming out. That's what I
[05:12] feel is happening. But there's more
[05:13] happening because they also launched a
[05:16] video on their YouTube channel called
[05:19] introducing Elementor 1 one
[05:21] subscription. So let's check this out
[05:23] real quick.
[05:28] Glass design. You see that? That's
[05:31] getting more popular. These glass pink
[05:34] bubbles. Okay, we see AI right here.
[05:37] Some very nice carousels right here. But
[05:40] this is the most interesting part. one
[05:42] subscription for everything I guess with
[05:46] credits where when it matters where it
[05:48] matters. So that's what I want to check
[05:50] out. So let's just go to the pricing
[05:53] page over here and let's see what we
[05:58] find. Okay, select your plan. Building
[06:00] for myself or building for clients. Oh
[06:02] wow. Okay, that is new. Uh let's also
[06:04] open the old pricing page. This is the
[06:07] old pricing page that we know which is
[06:10] just pro and Woo Commerce. They didn't
[06:12] really separate for yourself and for
[06:14] clients which is interesting. Okay, so
[06:16] the pricing was uh 17 or 33 and now uh
[06:21] let's see the pricing is building for
[06:24] clients $37
[06:28] and then you also get AI credits. Yeah.
[06:32] Oh, that's cool. Okay, so it looks like
[06:35] this Elementor one package includes the
[06:38] other products that they have here. The
[06:40] image optimizer, accessibility, also the
[06:43] site mailer manage coming soon. Okay, so
[06:46] there's even a new product coming. Maybe
[06:48] also that cookie consent plugin.
[06:51] Actually, that's a pretty good price
[06:53] because it's only a few dollars more and
[06:56] we're getting all of the products. And
[06:58] with this one, you're getting the 25
[07:00] license plan, which is 17 now. What was
[07:03] it before? Also 17. But then with this
[07:07] one, oh, you don't get the extra
[07:09] products. Okay. So, basically the,000
[07:12] website license plan was $33
[07:16] is now 37. So, $4 more, but then you get
[07:20] all of their other products. Honestly,
[07:22] that's pretty exciting because I really
[07:25] dislike having multiple subscriptions. I
[07:27] don't know about you, but this was one
[07:28] of the reasons why I didn't buy their
[07:30] other products because then I have to
[07:32] decide what package do I want. I have
[07:34] another subscription. It's more
[07:35] accounting work. So now it just looks
[07:37] like they make it really easy for
[07:39] agencies for Yeah. $4 more. Oh, it's a
[07:42] launch offer. Okay. So, it's going to be
[07:44] 45 soon, which for an agency, let's be
[07:48] honest, is is nothing if you sell
[07:50] monthly uh maintenance packages to your
[07:52] clients. because if you don't have this,
[07:54] you're probably spending it on some
[07:55] other companies that are offering these
[07:58] features. And I hope that with this
[08:00] change, they're not going to have these
[08:03] popups or these these upgrade buttons
[08:06] inside of the WordPress editor, which we
[08:08] used to have because they wanted you to
[08:10] upgrade to these other products. And
[08:11] this is what really annoyed a lot of
[08:14] people. You can see that here in this
[08:16] comments, I pay to see ads. And I
[08:19] understand it. You don't want to get a
[08:20] lot of ads when you buy a product. Even
[08:23] though these days we see it in more
[08:25] stuff, even if you buy like a fridge or
[08:27] a car, you still get ads for more
[08:29] services. Doesn't mean it's not
[08:31] annoying. So, I'm thinking that
[08:33] Elementor 1 actually solves this
[08:36] problem. So, what have you built for
[08:38] yourself? Okay, this is all one site
[08:41] licenses.
[08:43] Okay, so there's also a oneite license
[08:46] with all of those features. So, let's
[08:49] say that your client does not want to be
[08:51] on your plan. Then your client has to
[08:53] pay $14 per month or 19 soon. Uh, and
[08:58] then they have all of these features.
[09:00] So, that's how it works. And these plans
[09:02] were already existing. With the
[09:04] essential plan, you just don't get all
[09:05] of the dynamic options. So, that's only
[09:08] for very simple websites, basically. So,
[09:10] honestly, I'm happy with this because
[09:12] again, I didn't want to pay for all of
[09:14] these different products. Now it's just
[09:16] one price, very easy. But I think this
[09:19] opens a more interesting discussion on
[09:22] what Elementor is becoming in the
[09:24] future. I've been thinking a lot about
[09:25] this. I don't know what you guys think.
[09:27] Everybody has a different view on this,
[09:30] but I feel like Elementor has always
[09:32] tried to serve two audiences, the
[09:36] beginners and the pros, and that has
[09:38] worked for them for a very long time.
[09:40] But now we're in a world with AI, right?
[09:43] where these AI builders like uh Lovable
[09:46] and Bold and all of these other tools
[09:48] and even companies like Wix and
[09:50] Squarespace, they're probably eating
[09:52] away a lot of beginners from WordPress.
[09:55] That's what I think. And WordPress no
[09:57] code developers like me and probably you
[10:00] were getting more advanced. We demand
[10:02] more and so I feel like Elementor was
[10:05] kind of like pushed upward. Maybe they
[10:07] felt like they had to go a little bit of
[10:09] the beginner because this positioning is
[10:12] clearly more focused on the
[10:15] professional. I am very curious on what
[10:17] kind of effect this will have on their
[10:19] business. But, you know, nothing stays
[10:20] forever. They are still the king on
[10:23] WordPress. 13% of the web is built in
[10:26] Elementor. But, I'm thinking that a lot
[10:28] of these numbers actually come from
[10:30] beginners. But, you know, I shouldn't
[10:33] really care because I'm a oneperson
[10:35] agency who just likes to work for
[10:37] clients and I want to have great tools.
[10:39] But I just find it interesting and
[10:41] fascinating to think about this how
[10:43] companies move, how they position
[10:45] themselves. I mean, some builders have
[10:47] clearly positioned uh themselves as pro
[10:50] from the beginning. Web flow and and
[10:52] bricks are a perfect example of that,
[10:54] but Elementor has always been in the
[10:56] middle and now they're moving more
[10:57] towards pro. Very interesting times,
[11:00] guys. What do you think about all of
[11:02] this? I'm probably going to buy
[11:04] Elementor one and then maybe do a more
[11:06] in-depth video if I know more. If you
[11:08] think I'm missing some information, then
[11:09] please put that in the comments. Okay,
[11:12] see you later,
