A little fun snipped trivia, the AI chapters were actually the very first AI feature we ever built. In the very first version of snipped, when you tapped your headphones to save a moment, what we actually did was we just saved the current AI chapter that you were playing. Was basically a hack to be able to have smart snips that created a well that created a snip with a title and a summary without having to build any actual real-time ai processing which you Know just as a reminder you know this was before chat gpt or even existed let alone there being like a ChatGPT API. So this was sort of like a first little hack. And yeah, since we initially created them, we actually only really improved them once. That was just before we launched our premium version, which now is also again like two years ago. Crazy. Since then, we haven't touched them much. So I'm very happy that we finally got around to tackling them. The two big improvements that you should notice are that one, the chapters now segment the content much more accurately, especially if there are clear segment boundaries. And second, the chapter titles should be much nicer, much more informative for figuring out what they talk about when. - **Skip Chapters With Headphone Tap**
- Use your headphones' double-tap to skip to the end of the current AI chapter for quick navigation.
- Improved chapter segmentation makes headphone skipping more effective for skipping uninterested sections.

Ah, and a quick side note. So just in case you didn't know that, when you actually use your headphones to skip forward, so on most headphones that's a double tap, the app skips to the end of the current AI chapter. So thanks to the improved AI chapters, this is now also improved and it's really nice for skipping sections that you're not interested in without having to take out your phone. - **Fire Emojis Highlight Hot Moments**
- Fire emojis mark the three most snipped moments on the player screen to highlight popular segments.
- The feature briefly disappeared due to a bug and was restored, but Kevin sees more potential for it.

Okay, next one today are the fire emojis on the player screen. These accidentally disappeared without us noticing. This was a bug. Sorry about that. We fixed the bug. So they are back. The fire emojis, what they do is they show you the three most snip areas of an episode. And I have to say, so I personally think that this is a really cool feature. But to be honest, I don't think that we've totally figured it out yet. So it still feels like there's so much more potential there. This is actually one that I'm quite excited about. So for the snips on the episode screen, we've created a new UI and a new style of snip, basically a new writing style for the snip. The idea behind it, however, is to make it easier and more enjoyable to get a quick overview of what you'll learn in this episode before hitting play. And as you know, for those of you who've been around for a while, you know that we've done various experiments in this direction. I just think that this is such an important aspect, and it has so much more potential. So I think this new style is a clear improvement. I've been enjoying it a lot. - **How To Try The New Snip Variant**

- Expect a follow-up request for quick feedback about a week after opting in.

Important to know here is this new variant has to be activated in order to experience it. We will show selected users a pop-up in the app to ask them whether they want to try it out. And if you say yes, then we'll follow up in a week or so to get your quick feedback on it. It would be really great if you took the time to give us your feedback as this really helps us. If you do not get a pop-up, then you can nonetheless activate this new feature. Just head to the settings and click on experiments. You should see it there.
