## ๐ Main Content
Bethel Church leadership made unprecedented public statements acknowledging their mishandling of allegations against prophetic minister Shawn Bolz. The statements came after sustained pressure from BSSM alumni, national voices including Mike Winger's viral analysis, and internal community pushback.
Danny Silk opened by acknowledging "grievous mistakes" in their "disciplinary" process, admitting they "did not properly and fully discipline and bring to closure and bring out the truth" regarding Bolz's conduct from 2019 onwards. However, contradictions emerged regarding their authority to discipline Bolz, as Vallotton previously stated he was "not under our covering."
Chris Vallotton admitted to having "a heart change" following "an encounter with the Lord" on Monday morning - notably after his controversial Sunday sermon that many characterized as gaslighting. His emotional presentation included claims that BSSM alumni were "calling out the gold in us," reflecting theological commitments to human goodness over biblical depravity.
The institutional response reveals several concerning patterns: victim language about their own "tender morning," requests to be "covered with grace," and framing alumni accountability efforts as initial "frustration" before recognizing necessity. Multiple references to "processing" and therapeutic language replace traditional biblical categories of sin and repentance.

## ๐ฃ๏ธ Paraphrase
- Bethel Church leadership publicly admitted to covering up Shawn Bolz's misconduct for 7-8 years after internal and external pressure forced accountability
- Their response mixed genuine admission of failure with institutional self-protection, victim language, and theological frameworks that enable future problems
- The statements reveal deep theological issues around human nature, prophetic practices, and church governance that remain unaddressed despite the confession
## ๐ฐ Newsletter
**Bethel's Accountability Moment: Progress with Persistent Problems**
This week brought unprecedented public confession from Bethel Church leadership regarding their mishandling of Shawn Bolz allegations. While the admission represents progress, concerning patterns emerge.
**Key Developments:**
- 7-8 year cover-up acknowledged by Danny Silk, Chris Vallotton, and Bill Johnson
- Internal BSSM alumni pressure campaign forced institutional response
- Shawn Bolz positioned for restoration rather than permanent disqualification
- Core theological frameworks enabling misconduct remain unchanged
**WordPress Community Connections:**
The transparency issues mirror challenges in open source governance - when leadership lacks accountability mechanisms, community pressure becomes essential for course correction. Consider how WordPress's distributed leadership model creates multiple accountability touchpoints.
**Practical Applications:**
- Evaluate accountability structures in your faith communities
- Recognize institutional self-protection language vs. genuine repentance
- Understand how theological frameworks either enable or prevent misconduct

## ๐งช Hypotheses
- Institutional confessions without structural change predict recurrence of similar problems
- Theological anthropology (view of human nature) directly correlates with accountability failures
- Victim language from institutions indicates incomplete repentance and ongoing self-protection
- Pressure from educated alumni creates more effective accountability than external critics alone
### ๐ Methodology
- Analyze institutional language patterns for victim positioning vs. accountability acceptance
- Compare theological statements with behavioral outcomes over time
- Track recurrence patterns in organizations with similar confession/restoration cycles
### โ Questions
- Do institutional confessions without structural change create genuine accountability or performance theater?
- How do theological frameworks about human nature enable or prevent institutional misconduct?
- What accountability mechanisms prove most effective for preventing future institutional cover-ups?
### ๐ฎ Future Research
- Long-term tracking of Bethel's accountability implementation beyond public statements
- Comparative analysis of institutional confession patterns across religious organizations
- Development of accountability frameworks for distributed leadership communities
### ๐ก Implications
- Practice: Evaluate accountability structures in leadership roles and organizations
- Policy: Require structural changes alongside public confessions in organizational governance
- Education: Train community members to recognize institutional manipulation patterns
- Funding: Consider accountability track records when supporting organizations or leaders

### โ
Logical Validity
#### Strong reasoning
- Deductive strength: Clear progression from theological premises to behavioral outcomes
- Inductive strength: Pattern recognition based on historical precedent
- Causal reasoning: Links theological anthropology to accountability failures
#### Fallacies
- Ad hominem risk: Focus on systemic patterns rather than personal character attacks
- False dichotomy: Avoid binary thinking about confession quality
### ๐ก๏ธ DARVO Analysis
- Deny: Minimizing 7-8 year timeline, claiming discipline when lacking authority
- Attack: Framing alumni pressure as "pestering" and "frustration"
- Reverse victim/offender: "Tender morning for us," requesting to be "covered with grace"
- Emotional cues: Strategic vulnerability and exhaustion claims to deflect criticism
## ๐ฏ Conclusion
Bethel Church's public confession represents unprecedented acknowledgment of institutional failure while revealing persistent patterns that predict future problems. The admission of covering up misconduct for 7-8 years demonstrates the power of sustained community pressure, particularly from educated alumni who understood institutional dynamics.
However, the response exhibits classic institutional self-protection: victim language, requests for grace, therapeutic categories replacing biblical accountability, and maintenance of theological frameworks that enabled the original problems. The core issues - apostolic governance without accountability, prophetic practices lacking biblical foundation, and theological anthropology emphasizing human goodness over depravity - remain unchanged.
For communities seeking genuine accountability, this case study demonstrates both the necessity of sustained pressure and the inadequacy of confession without structural reform. True institutional transformation requires changing the theological and organizational systems that enable misconduct, not merely acknowledging past failures.

Um, I am uh a little dumbfounded
[01:19] and a little puzzled
[01:22] and uh quite frankly
[01:26] surprised a little bit. Let me just say
[01:27] that at the outset. I don't know if you
[01:30] all watched it or saw it. But what we're
[01:32] going to do today is we're going to
[01:33] watch Danny Fairley, Chris Valatin, and
[01:38] Bill Johnson make their statements, make
[01:41] their comments to their congregation
[01:46] about
[01:47] what they knew about Shawn BS, when they
[01:49] knew it, and
[01:52] I guess take their swing at um
[01:55] repentance.
[01:57] I think that's what they did. Um, it
[02:01] seems sort of halfway. I'm not quite
[02:05] sure what happened, but uh maybe y'all
[02:09] can uh yeah, watch along with. And we're
[02:13] really just I'm just I I I changed my
[02:15] whole plan today. That's why I'm a
[02:17] little bit late. And we are going to I
[02:20] don't typically live stream on Sundays.
[02:22] I premiere typically on Sundays. So,
[02:24] welcome to the live stream. And um tell
[02:26] me where you're uh tuning in from. If
[02:28] you're in the United States, you're
[02:30] probably freezing to death [laughter]
[02:32] and uh so tell me what your uh
[02:34] temperature is and where you're tuning
[02:36] in from. And
[02:39] then we'll jump right in. Um this will
[02:43] be interesting to say the least. So I in
[02:48] in you know preparing all these things,
[02:51] covering it this week, I covered it
[02:53] basically pretty well this week. I
[02:54] covered all I covered, [snorts]
[02:56] you know, Mike Wingers. Mike Winger is
[02:59] what set this whole thing off. He got
[03:01] the attention of the folks at Bethl.
[03:04] What I gather, I think he got the
[03:06] attention of the BSSM graduates andor
[03:10] alumni and and and maybe even current
[03:13] BSSM students. I'm not sure about that,
[03:16] but it seems to me that the internal
[03:19] push back pushed them to make these
[03:22] statements today.
[03:24] So, it certainly wasn't the the
[03:28] discernment camp or folks who do things
[03:31] like I do.
[03:33] It certainly wasn't us because Steven
[03:34] Kosar knew about this stuff years ago
[03:39] and was highlighting Shawn BS's
[03:43] prophetic grift
[03:46] long ago. Long ago.
[03:49] So, um, yeah, let me [laughter] see
[03:52] where I want to begin here. I am not
[03:55] even really sure. I I I I had a plan to
[03:58] do Shawn BS had released a statement.
[04:01] Bethl has released a statement, written
[04:03] statements of from other places. And so,
[04:06] I'm getting things from all sorts of
[04:07] different places. And now just literally
[04:10] an hour ago, I think they finished their
[04:12] live stream and Bethl made a statement
[04:17] with um with Danny Fairley kind of
[04:20] kicking things off, Chris. And then
[04:24] yeah, so let me just jump right in, I
[04:27] guess. So here I wanted to show you a
[04:29] few things. All right, here is let's
[04:33] just jump over to my desktop.
[04:36] Here is the live stream from earlier
[04:39] today. By the way, this guy right here,
[04:43] Ben, I forget his last name.
[04:47] Uh, I need to go find that. He had an
[04:50] affair with someone at BSSM and they
[04:53] reinstated him into ministry. So, folks,
[04:55] before you say, "Well, this is great.
[04:57] This is a really great thing." They've
[04:59] been doing this for years. Remember Todd
[05:01] Bentley? You're back back in the day.
[05:04] Remember the charismatic day of infamy
[05:07] where they inducted or installed Todd
[05:11] Bentley into his apostolic covering? Ben
[05:14] Armstrong, thank you. Someone said in
[05:16] the chat, you guys will get this. Y'all
[05:17] got You guys can help me out today. This
[05:18] is going to be great. I I'll try to pay
[05:20] attention to the chat today. Ben
[05:21] Armstrong. This guy had an affair. It's
[05:24] really well known. I mean, I'm not I'm
[05:26] not just saying stuff out making
[05:27] accusations. It's known in the church.
[05:30] The guy has had an affair with someone
[05:33] in their community, a young lady as I
[05:36] understand it, and they restored him to
[05:38] ministry. He has been back in ministry.
[05:40] This guy is disqualified permanently.
[05:43] So is Shawn BS. So is Mike Bickl. So is
[05:46] Todd Bentley. So is Chris Reid. So are
[05:49] all these goons who
[05:53] have committed some kind of sexual
[05:54] immorality. You are disqualified for.
[05:57] You are no longer the husband of one
[06:00] wife
[06:01] and that disqualifies you. According to
[06:04] Timothy, Titus, Peter,
[06:07] all the qualifications for elders and
[06:10] deacons and pastors in scripture.
[06:13] However, I want to point something out.
[06:14] They don't believe in pastors, elders,
[06:16] and deacons. I showed it last uh
[06:18] yesterday. Let me see if I can get to
[06:20] it. Um, Jeanluke Traxxel here
[06:25] um, reposted ah, here we go. Reposted
[06:30] this deal about the apostolic churches,
[06:34] apostolic hubs. Let me see. I scroll
[06:36] over here. Get that in. And they believe
[06:38] in apostles and prophets. They're
[06:39] replacing pastors. I did I covered this
[06:42] in my last live stream. They're
[06:44] replacing pastors with apostles and
[06:46] prophets. John Luke Traxel is a friend
[06:48] of the house of Bethl. who was at Bethl
[06:51] uh maybe a year ago and I just saw I
[06:54] actually went over to be revived Papa
[06:57] Bill's Instagram and he's like the last
[07:00] one or two posts he and a picture of
[07:03] John
[07:06] they believe in the apostolic they
[07:07] believe that apostles and prophets
[07:10] govern the church and they are wrong
[07:14] written here in this book modern day
[07:16] apostles but that's not the point of
[07:18] today's thing I wanted to show you they
[07:20] don't believe in so they don't believe
[07:21] that you can actually be disqualified
[07:23] because they're the leaders of their
[07:24] church are not p pastors elders and
[07:27] deacons the leaders of their church are
[07:30] apostles and prophets and there's no
[07:32] disqualification
[07:34] standards for p apostles and prophets in
[07:37] the New Testament because they're only
[07:39] 12 there only 12 of them and none of
[07:42] those men were disqualified even though
[07:44] Peter was rebuked by Paul to his face
[07:48] in Gal ations. Remember,
[07:51] they were not disqualified.
[07:55] Yeah. So, anyways, here we go. Let's go
[07:58] over here and just see. Let's let's read
[08:02] Chris uh sorry, Shawn BS's
[08:06] um first statement. I think this go this
[08:10] was on um Bethl Church and Christianity
[08:13] website on Facebook. Thank you guys for
[08:16] posting this, John. So, this must have
[08:18] gone out to an email. I don't think this
[08:20] was a public statement. I couldn't find
[08:22] it on a link anywhere. So, here we go.
[08:24] Sean Bulls just released this morning.
[08:25] This says a lot. Hello, friends. In
[08:28] recent days, renewed attention has
[08:30] surfaced around my life and ministry.
[08:31] Much of it is revisiting matters first
[08:34] addressed years ago. Yes, it was
[08:35] addressed years ago. And and Chris
[08:38] Valatin will say, "You did not repent."
[08:40] So since 2019, I have been in a serious
[08:43] ongoing process of personal growth and
[08:45] accountability supported by counseling,
[08:47] pastoral care, professional guidance, my
[08:49] family, and leadership oversight. This
[08:50] work has been real, sustained, and
[08:52] important to me. Oh, I'm sure I'm really
[08:54] glad it's important to you. I'm glad
[08:56] it's really, really glad it's important
[08:58] to you.
[09:01] Unbelievable.
[09:03] Yeah, I won't engage in online
[09:05] narratives or speculation. What I can
[09:07] say is that I have been intentional
[09:08] about pursuing growth, accountability,
[09:10] and health in my life. Oh, really glad
[09:12] you're healthy or pursuing health in
[09:15] your life. Given the current climate,
[09:16] I've decided to step back from public
[09:18] ministry leadership and enter a season
[09:20] of sbatical. He's going to go and take a
[09:24] sabbatical. Now, that's really peachy.
[09:29] so this work can continue with care and
[09:32] integrity so that his work folks he's
[09:35] not he's not disqualifying himself from
[09:37] ministry he's going to try to continue
[09:40] his work this work with care and
[09:42] integrity
[09:45] nope folks if he tries to come back
[09:51] here here's what's happening we've been
[09:53] calling this out for years and years but
[09:55] the charismatic movement is just now
[09:57] waking up praise the Lord for that and
[10:00] starting to call these things out.
[10:03] I think Mike Bickl was like a real
[10:05] revelation for folks. The guy who was
[10:08] above reproach, who never did anything,
[10:10] who was so holy
[10:14] and um now starting to wake up and
[10:17] realize that these guys are sensuous.
[10:20] Said it I've been saying it for a long
[10:22] time. The mark of a false teacher, a
[10:25] false prophet is sensuality
[10:27] according to scripture.
[10:32] Okay. So, someone says in the chat, I'm
[10:34] going to say, uh, Ben Armstrong not an
[10:36] affair. It was clergy essay as she was
[10:39] under his care. H, but he's restored
[10:43] back. So, um,
[10:47] so here we go. We have this statement
[10:50] and he's going to be reinstated. He's
[10:51] going to reinstate himself if he can if
[10:53] if no one from Bethl will because it
[10:54] sounds like they're pretty serious over
[10:56] there at Bethl. They're not going to
[10:57] reinstate him. They're not, you know,
[10:58] they're saying he's not safe. Their
[11:02] statement was pretty pretty strong. I
[11:04] was I was very surprised. Um
[11:08] and he's very thankful those who walked
[11:10] this journey with us and ask for grace
[11:12] and privacy in this season. In other
[11:13] words, but out
[11:17] um just unbelievable. So, that's the
[11:20] statement from Sean BS. And then, you
[11:23] know, I Yeah, I don't know if we need
[11:25] this. Um, this is
[11:28] Chris Valatin.
[11:30] This was uh six days ago on his social
[11:34] media on his uh I believe it was his uh
[11:38] Facebook. What you fear governs how you
[11:40] think. The wisdom of man is shaped by
[11:42] approval and self-preservation. The
[11:44] wisdom of God flows from reverence,
[11:45] humility, and trust in his ways. Let
[11:47] holy fear recalibrate your priorities
[11:50] and sharpen your discernment. Stay close
[11:52] to him and wisdom will follow.
[11:56] You just want to shake your head. You
[11:58] just want to shake your head.
[12:01] Um the fear of the Lord is the beginning
[12:03] of wisdom and the knowledge of the Holy
[12:04] One is understanding. I wonder if he
[12:06] thought that and really had this on his
[12:09] mind when he preached his sermon last
[12:11] Sunday.
[12:12] That thing was so egregious. It was,
[12:17] you know, even the guys at Remnant
[12:18] Radio, they said it was not a sermon. It
[12:20] was a speech. Wonder what they'll be
[12:22] saying about about this statement from
[12:24] Bethl. This is just this is awful, man.
[12:26] So, then we have uh Bill Johnson as well
[12:29] over here. Uh, we exist to empower
[12:31] leaders like you to step into your
[12:34] God-given potential and impact your
[12:36] sphere of influence. Huh.
[12:39] Sounds suspiciously like the new
[12:40] language for the seven mountain mandate
[12:43] with the power of the Holy Spirit. So
[12:45] just to give you guys um
[12:49] just to show you that these guys are not
[12:52] seriously seriously spiritual
[12:54] Christians. Father in heaven breathe on
[12:56] me again and awaken everything you
[12:57] placed inside of me. All the while they
[13:00] this is three days ago
[13:02] they had been covering up this man's
[13:07] I mean they're admitting it now. They're
[13:09] actually admitting it. So here we go.
[13:12] Let's go here. And I want to show you
[13:15] because they talk about grace. They were
[13:17] actually too gracious. That's that's the
[13:19] reason they give for
[13:22] not having come forward with the
[13:23] information about Shawn BS earlier. And
[13:26] it's it it want to be grace and mercy.
[13:31] And here's what Jude 4 says about false
[13:34] teachers. I'm telling you folks, they
[13:36] may have confessed for this thing. They
[13:38] may have they may trying to repent for
[13:40] this thing, but they are still false
[13:41] teachers and false prophets. Chris Faton
[13:43] is a false prophet. Bill Johnson is a
[13:45] false teacher. And they are still to be
[13:48] marked and avoided.
[13:51] You know, I I'm talking to a lot of
[13:52] people in the background. People are
[13:53] texting me off the hook right now,
[13:55] [laughter]
[13:56] buzzing things everywhere.
[13:59] And people are saying that they're just
[14:01] doing this because they got caught. They
[14:03] had to. They were they had their they
[14:04] had to be they were forced to do this.
[14:07] Oh, my camera got out again. Hopefully,
[14:09] my camera will behave and just go off
[14:10] every once in a while. Yay, it's
[14:13] behaving today. M. This is This is me on
[14:15] a shoestring budget, folks. Uh I usually
[14:19] edit this and cut all this out. This is
[14:21] a live stream. This is really truly me
[14:22] live. So, um yes,
[14:28] this is what's happening. Jude talks
[14:29] about what is happening. How these
[14:32] people who are false teachers pervert
[14:34] the grace of God. We think about Joseph
[14:36] Prince. Joseph Prince is the um extreme
[14:39] grace guy, you know, um and his is a
[14:43] false gospel. Absolutely.
[14:45] And so, but but what they actually said
[14:48] in this statement was that they're too
[14:52] focused on grace. They want to extend
[14:54] grace to everyone. Blah blah blah mercy
[14:56] blah blah blah. So, here we go. In Jude
[14:59] 4, it says, "For certain people have
[15:00] crept in unnoticed, who long ago were
[15:03] designated for this condemnation,
[15:06] ungodly people who pervert the grace of
[15:09] God into of our God into sensuality and
[15:13] deny our only master and lord."
[15:18] And I do want to tell you folks, Bill
[15:21] Johnson has denied the master and lord
[15:24] Jesus Christ because he preaches another
[15:27] gospel and another Christ. A Christ who
[15:29] laid aside his divinity
[15:34] and out of his humanity only performed
[15:39] his miracles. That is not the Christ of
[15:42] the gospel.
[15:44] So they deny the master and lord Jesus
[15:47] Christ. They have created a Christ in
[15:50] their own image or in their thinking in
[15:52] their likeness. He is not the Christ of
[15:54] scripture.
[15:58] So
[16:00] first of all they're perverting the Lord
[16:01] perverting the grace of our of our God
[16:05] giving people a license for sensuality.
[16:10] And so that's what's happening here.
[16:12] That's what's happened with Shawn Bulls.
[16:14] They perverted the grace of God and
[16:17] turned the grace of God into sensuality.
[16:22] So, and we saw that by him uh in his
[16:24] sermon last week quoting
[16:28] um Revelation where he talks about this
[16:31] that woman Jezebel
[16:33] and he actually pointed out today. So,
[16:35] we'll give him give him kudos for this.
[16:37] And then he talked about Judas that that
[16:40] that God used Judas. There is no
[16:42] scripture, not even a single one in all
[16:45] of the New Testament that says God was
[16:48] using Judas in any way, shape or form.
[16:52] He was a son of predition. The reason
[16:54] Jesus the uh chose him for the 12 was so
[16:59] that he could fulfill his destiny. The
[17:02] the the prophecies that were written
[17:04] about him. And Peter says it, he went to
[17:08] where he was. He belonged because he was
[17:10] the son of predition,
[17:13] destined, predestined to um yeah to
[17:19] his role. All right, here we go. Let's
[17:22] roll over then and just start looking.
[17:24] So that's going to frame our discussion
[17:25] today. It's going to frame script that's
[17:27] that scripture is going to frame us.
[17:29] Jude 4, they give a license for
[17:31] sensuality.
[17:33] All right, here we go. And guys, you
[17:35] know, um, if y'all want a question or or
[17:38] anything like that, there's a lot of
[17:40] people in today. Um, so I don't know if
[17:42] I can keep up with the chat very well.
[17:44] Already 100 people in. So that's great.
[17:46] Thank you'all for tuning in. But, um, if
[17:48] you have a question, maybe super chat it
[17:50] and then I can it can stick out to me.
[17:51] It's really hard. I my glass I have like
[17:54] tri focals. I have to look up like this
[17:56] to see the chat over here. So here we
[17:59] go. Um, let's jump in and listen to
[18:01] there. This is Ben Armstrong who people
[18:05] have said in the chat it's it's it's not
[18:07] a secret folks. This guy has essay a
[18:11] woman
[18:13] a young lady in the Bethl stratosphere
[18:16] and was reinstated just like
[18:20] just like Rick Joiner and Bill Johnson
[18:24] together. Do you remember when they
[18:25] reinstated or tried to reinstate Todd
[18:28] Bentley? Y'all remember that? Y'all
[18:29] remember that?
[18:31] That's years ago. That's years ago.
[18:36] So what's the difference now?
[18:39] What's the difference now? All right,
[18:41] here we go. Let's listen to their
[18:43] >> fighting in us. And as if we give today,
[18:46] God, we pray that a blessing.
[18:48] >> This is I just want to start here. So
[18:51] after let's see an hour and a half of
[18:54] worship and whatever they do and
[18:56] beforehand.
[18:58] So this was a short service actually.
[19:00] Three hours is typically their service
[19:02] length. Um, this is they're asking you
[19:05] to sew into Bethl.
[19:09] I I mean um
[19:13] wow
[19:16] wow wow wow wow.
[19:20] So into bethl so that we can cover up
[19:23] other it's just amazing. It's amazing.
[19:26] Maybe, just maybe, their PR person
[19:29] should have said, "You know what? Leave
[19:30] the offering off for today." Might be a
[19:33] smart idea. Maybe they should have asked
[19:35] for my help. You know what? I actually
[19:36] wrote a a uh statement for them. Now,
[19:40] let's see how close it sticks to my
[19:41] statement. Some people some people, this
[19:43] kind of went viral on Facebook. So,
[19:45] here's my Bethl statement. You know, I I
[19:47] said, you know, they're coming out with
[19:49] a statement soon. By the way, the
[19:51] statement on Facebook on YouTube on
[19:54] their previous uh so last last week when
[19:57] Chris Valin spoke, they had a pinned a
[19:59] comment that said, "We're we're aware of
[20:01] this and we're going to make a
[20:02] statement." So, I was like, "Oh, wow.
[20:03] Well, they're going to make a statement.
[20:04] So, let me help them out. Bethl has
[20:06] announced that they will make a
[20:07] statement regarding Shawn Bull's cover
[20:09] up and Chris Valatin's gaslighting
[20:10] speech soon." So, I have the liberty to
[20:14] prepare a short public relations
[20:16] statement for Bethl, Bill Johnson, and
[20:17] Chris Valatin. they may feel free to use
[20:19] it for free. Here is my statement that I
[20:22] wrote for them. Let's see how close they
[20:24] get to this statement. We at Bethl have
[20:26] realized that we have gas lit you,
[20:28] manipulated you, and covered up gross
[20:30] error, sin, and false prophecies for
[20:32] many, many years. I mean, going back to,
[20:35] like I said, Todd Bentley,
[20:38] that's why we have decided as a staff to
[20:40] fire every single person that is
[20:42] currently on staff here for the
[20:44] theological aberrations and often
[20:46] heretical statements made by people from
[20:49] the stage and our gross mishandling of
[20:51] victims and their abuses. We will no
[20:53] longer be offering any services. We
[20:56] repent from it all and will all submit
[20:59] ourselves to faithful Bible teaching and
[21:01] preaching churches.
[21:03] We will be closing our doors
[21:05] permanently, selling everything we have
[21:07] to recompense everyone we have stolen
[21:09] from and do our best to seek justice for
[21:12] our victims. We are closing up shop this
[21:15] Sunday and the last maintenance staff
[21:18] member will permanently lock the doors
[21:21] behind them. Goodbye and we're very very
[21:24] sorry. Bethl Church. Now, someone
[21:27] actually put in there uh or highlighted
[21:29] Yeah. and and and you know we're turning
[21:32] off all the music too. So Bethl Music,
[21:36] there'll be a little addendum in there,
[21:37] a PS in there. We are removing all our
[21:41] music that has corrupted the church for
[21:45] the past 25 years from circulation and
[21:50] destroying it all. That'd be pretty
[21:52] cool, too. All right. So, that's the
[21:55] statement that I came up with for them
[21:57] and see if it kind of reflects in any
[22:00] way what they're going to say. But
[22:02] before they do any statement, they're
[22:04] going to take they're going to get you
[22:05] to sew into Bethl
[22:08] >> on every household in Jesus' name. Amen.
[22:14] >> Released on every household and it's
[22:16] unbelievable.
[22:17] >> I'll give it to Dan Gospel. At least
[22:20] they didn't read the pro lead that read
[22:22] their uh statement, you know, the the
[22:25] offering statements that they read. More
[22:27] cars and better cars, offerings in the
[22:30] mail, you know, um jobs and better jobs,
[22:34] you know, that type of thing, whatever
[22:35] that is.
[22:36] >> Good morning, everybody.
[22:39] >> It is good to be with you this morning.
[22:41] Um it's been a tender morning for us as
[22:44] we've been talking about very important
[22:46] matters. a tender mourning
[22:52] the victimhood they're so what they will
[22:55] do actually is they will create a victim
[22:58] status for themselves again
[23:01] um this statement is better than I
[23:04] actually thought what they're doing is
[23:06] better than I actually thought they
[23:07] would do but they create right from the
[23:09] get-go um it's been very tender for us
[23:13] um so creating creating you
[23:17] excuses. It's excuses
[23:18] >> and have uh spoken at the 8:00 service
[23:22] and then over at Twin View and then now
[23:23] with you and online community. We're
[23:25] glad you're with us too.
[23:28] Uh we're just going to talk about some
[23:30] of our m
[23:31] >> tender as Christianes
[23:34] >> mistakes and failures uh in a situation
[23:38] about Shawn Bolts and just wanted to let
[23:40] you know about that ahead of time in
[23:41] case this is like a triggering moment
[23:43] for you or you're like I'm not ready for
[23:45] this. I didn't come to church for this.
[23:46] Just kind of give you a heads up.
[23:51] Chris and Bill will be speaking in just
[23:54] a a moment. And uh our heart is to end
[23:56] in a time of prayer and and confession
[23:59] and repentance. And not you guys. You
[24:01] didn't do anything wrong.
[24:02] >> That might have been the very first time
[24:04] that I have ever heard someone say that
[24:07] word on a Bethl stage. I've been
[24:09] covering them for a long time.
[24:12] Trying to think. I don't think I've ever
[24:14] heard anybody say confession and
[24:17] repentance from the stage at Bethl. I've
[24:19] been covering them for a while. and I
[24:21] wrote a book about him and all that
[24:22] stuff. So, I I'm like in
[24:26] I've been there twice.
[24:29] So, um I don't think I've ever heard
[24:31] that before.
[24:32] >> What we're going to talk about this
[24:33] morning is what we did wrong. And so, at
[24:36] that moment, we just ask for you to
[24:38] cover us with grace as we seek the
[24:40] Lord's forgiveness. How does one I'm
[24:42] going to stop him a lot because first of
[24:44] all, just the copyright thing, I have
[24:45] the right to to review this in in bits
[24:48] and pieces, but um how do you how does
[24:50] one cover someone in grace? You can be
[24:53] gracious with someone, but um it's this,
[24:56] you know, it's this Christian ease.
[24:59] Yeah. Yeah. Cover someone in grace
[25:01] >> in the face of some grievous mistakes.
[25:05] >> Good. They admit their grievous
[25:06] mistakes. So, we plan on ending a little
[25:08] early if we're able to to give us time
[25:10] to kind of be together and grieve to
[25:11] stay here. We don't have another
[25:13] service, you know, starting too quickly
[25:15] afterward.
[25:16] >> Be together and grieve. So, who's
[25:19] grieving? Now, they do say quite a bit
[25:21] in this that it's no one has to repent.
[25:24] No one in the body in their in their
[25:25] body has to repent. I'm glad for that.
[25:27] That's really great.
[25:28] >> And so, uh we'll be available to you
[25:31] guys to visit with and talk and just
[25:33] process with as well.
[25:36] processing.
[25:37] >> There's an older senior leadership team
[25:41] and a younger senior leadership team,
[25:42] just so you know. And we call it the
[25:44] SLT. So, the older SLT, senior
[25:47] leadership team, very small. It includes
[25:49] me and especially at the time, right
[25:51] after Candace and Eric Johnson left and
[25:53] before the 17 new Young Bloodoods joined
[25:56] the team. Um, the truth is we did not
[26:01] properly and fully discipline and bring
[26:04] to closure and bring out the truth of a
[26:07] very important situation regarding a man
[26:10] named Shawn Bulls.
[26:12] >> Well, now they said they're disciplined.
[26:13] I I didn't catch that in the first first
[26:15] go around. I I really have listened to
[26:16] this one time, guys. So, they said that
[26:19] they're um disciplined, but how would
[26:22] they discipline him? He said forever.
[26:24] Chris Valatin, all of them said he's not
[26:26] under our covering. We have no way to
[26:28] discipline him. He said that last week.
[26:32] So what's the difference now? They
[26:35] didn't adequately discipline him. How
[26:36] would they have been able to discipline
[26:37] him?
[26:39] He was not under their covering. They
[26:41] said that
[26:45] things have changed.
[26:46] >> Who preached and prophesied in this
[26:48] place?
[26:49] >> Okay. regarding a man named Shawn BS who
[26:52] preached and prophesied in this platform
[26:55] and with our team around the world.
[26:59] >> This is not me defending Shawn BS in any
[27:03] stretch, not even close. But what Shawn
[27:06] BS does is what every single prophet in
[27:09] this movement does. They get on stage
[27:11] and they say, "Is there someone else
[27:13] that have a word of knowledge?" The word
[27:15] of knowledge is a piece of information
[27:16] that someone could not really have known
[27:18] about so and so and such and such their
[27:20] address calling out some detail about
[27:22] someone.
[27:25] Um y'all remember who was the guy back
[27:27] uh who was caught with the earpiece. Uh
[27:29] someone in the comments helped me out.
[27:31] He was he was listening to words of
[27:33] knowledge. He was doing the same thing.
[27:35] The same thing. This has been going on
[27:38] since the 80s. Who was the guy? Uh help
[27:41] me out. Someone in the comments.
[27:44] Tina and Joan, y'all are there. Thank
[27:45] y'all so much for modding. This is
[27:46] great. Um, he was getting people's
[27:50] registration cards talked into his
[27:52] earpiece.
[27:53] Uh, Peter Pop Off, thank you. Someone I
[27:55] knew someone would come up. Peter Popoff
[27:57] was doing the same thing. This has gone
[28:00] on in the prophetic movement
[28:03] since at least the 80s
[28:07] and probably since the inception of the
[28:09] new apostolic reformation, probably
[28:11] since the inception of the new order of
[28:14] the latter reign and William Brandham
[28:16] did that type of grift.
[28:20] Yes.
[28:23] So, so he prophesied on their stage and
[28:25] every single person from Mike Bickl who
[28:30] was doing it prophetically to to gain uh
[28:36] women
[28:37] uh for his sexual abuses that all of
[28:40] them were doing this thing.
[28:44] Um so,
[28:47] and look, Chris Valatin does the same
[28:50] thing. Look, we'll go over here. I'll
[28:51] I'll review what I did last night.
[28:53] Gaslight. This is
[28:56] uh Chris Valatin from the stage
[28:58] prophesying that people who have not had
[29:01] children are going to have babies. It's
[29:04] actually his own rule. You should not
[29:06] prophesy dates, mates, or babies. And
[29:09] here he is at the communion revival
[29:13] night at Bethl
[29:16] prophesying babies.
[29:19] Here
[29:21] he is
[29:23] prophesying the releasing of force
[29:25] fields above people
[29:28] there. I I'll put all these links in in
[29:30] the show notes. I I want to cover I want
[29:32] to just I really just want to cover you
[29:34] know the this this apology tonight.
[29:38] Here's Chris Valatin prophesying a false
[29:41] prophecy about Germany.
[29:45] All the details. I covered this in uh
[29:47] two hours. I did it in German and in
[29:49] English. I think
[29:52] he is falsely prophesying in this show.
[29:55] In this show I covered about a 10-minute
[29:58] prophecy and everything is wrong. It's
[30:01] all false.
[30:03] He falsely quotes scripture. He says
[30:05] that God told him this and that and the
[30:07] other thing about a new reformation in
[30:09] Germany that um that the uh prime
[30:12] minister of Germany even though we have
[30:14] no prime minister we have a chancellor
[30:17] will become a Christian have a
[30:18] Nebuchadnezzar experience and he will
[30:20] turn the country back to to God
[30:23] has not happened and he gave a date
[30:26] false prophecy here we are where he
[30:29] teaches the manifest sons of God now I
[30:32] actually want to correct it he doesn't
[30:33] teach it He actually
[30:36] um says that they were involved with it
[30:39] at Weaverville
[30:41] before they came to Bethl. So he by all
[30:46] accounts believes in the manifest sons
[30:47] of God. And that's, you know, people say
[30:48] in the comments, "Well, I never heard
[30:50] him teach manifest sons of God." They're
[30:52] not going to say, "Hey, this is the
[30:53] manifest sons of God theology." But when
[30:56] he says, "He is big G, ye is little G,
[31:00] God." That is manifest sons of God
[31:02] theology. When he rips his shirt off and
[31:04] says, "Look, you're Superman
[31:06] underneath." That is manifest sons of
[31:08] God. When you can become like Christ and
[31:10] do the works that Jesus Christ did, that
[31:13] is manifest sons of God. All right. So,
[31:15] let's go over here. Now, this one, this
[31:17] is going to be on the AG Spirit and Fire
[31:20] uh uh AG3 Spirit and Fire. Chris Valatin
[31:24] sees the angel
[31:26] Michael appear to him in wrestling
[31:29] tights and he looked like a Native
[31:31] American but like Arnold Schwarzenegger.
[31:36] Folks, that's just he didn't see Michael
[31:38] the Archangel.
[31:40] This is This stuff happens all the time.
[31:43] Now, here is a video. I I don't don't
[31:46] know if I needed to do this, but here's
[31:47] a video of a young man, Jeremy Bros,
[31:51] who's saying he was a victim of Shawn
[31:53] BS, and he describes his full story.
[31:58] Very very sorry for this this guy. Um,
[32:01] and uh I'll put those links in the
[32:03] description. And I I didn't I didn't I
[32:07] actually uh got to about h about about
[32:09] an hour in so I didn't get to the
[32:12] details but um it's just all coming off.
[32:15] It's all popping off right now. So this
[32:18] is what they do.
[32:20] They prophesy from the stage
[32:25] all the time. Words of knowledge that
[32:27] some person has a knowledge that is not
[32:29] the biblical word of knowledge. A word
[32:31] of knowledge is a word of actual wisdom
[32:34] and knowledge that you can give someone
[32:36] for their life that God has
[32:38] supernaturally given you. Not that you
[32:40] know a detail about someone's life.
[32:43] That's just nowhere in scripture, folks.
[32:45] There's not a single prophet or
[32:46] prophesying that um you know, I know
[32:50] that that that you have a sister that
[32:52] you've never told me about and God's
[32:54] going to bless her or or your grandma is
[32:56] this or that. There's just no basis.
[33:00] whatsoever. There's not a single time in
[33:03] scripture that you can tell me where a
[33:05] person knew a detail about a person that
[33:08] showed them that they that God loves
[33:10] them.
[33:12] I mean, try to help me out, folks. Hit
[33:14] me in the comments. I am willing to be
[33:16] corrected. But the word of knowledge
[33:19] that is practiced in this movement is
[33:21] cold reading. It's psychic cold reading.
[33:25] Now, if someone actually did do that and
[33:28] they had, you know, the power to see
[33:30] some detail about your life, which
[33:31] psychics do, they actually do it
[33:36] and they have that power to do that.
[33:39] That is demonic. It's occultic and it is
[33:42] not of God.
[33:45] Just sorry about Sorry folks.
[33:48] Sorry.
[33:50] So
[33:52] the movement is the prophetic movement
[33:55] as it stands
[33:57] is so deeply corrupted that they have to
[34:01] throw out the whole baby with the
[34:03] bathwater. Under there is no baby in the
[34:05] bathwater
[34:07] in the practice of what they do. Why can
[34:10] Shawn BS stand on stage and do this
[34:12] thing this griff? Because everybody else
[34:14] does it. Everybody else does it. Bob
[34:18] Hartley did it. Mike Bickl did it. All
[34:20] the people who have these gifts of words
[34:23] of knowledge have gotten that
[34:25] information somewhere else or they're
[34:27] actually doing it in a satanic power
[34:29] because it is cold reading. It is
[34:31] psychic power. Mentalists can do it.
[34:34] They can look at somebody. A mentalist
[34:35] can look at somebody when they're really
[34:37] really trained and can give someone a
[34:39] cold reading and boom, blow their mind
[34:42] from the information. So this is the
[34:45] problem. The problem is the
[34:49] the entire
[34:51] uh uh the entire scaffolding
[34:55] of this movement
[34:57] holds this thing up and that's why Sean
[34:59] BS can stand on the top of the
[35:00] scaffolding and do this thing this evil
[35:03] thing that he did because it empowers
[35:07] that type of prophetic words. Those are
[35:10] not it's it it is it you know you got uh
[35:13] who's whoa this year
[35:16] teran it's sorcery it is sorcery it's
[35:19] true all right here we go let's keep
[35:20] listening
[35:21] >> on many occasions up until 2019
[35:24] >> okay we get some context
[35:26] >> who preached and prophesied in this
[35:28] platform and with our team around the
[35:31] world on many occasions up until 2019
[35:36] now Brian and Jen weren't involved the
[35:37] Bethl music staff teams they they
[35:39] weren't involved in these decisions or
[35:42] the lack of them and we are blessed by
[35:44] as I mentioned newer
[35:46] >> so
[35:48] so he's saying people who were not
[35:50] involved Brian and Jen Johnson were not
[35:52] involved they they weren't privy to
[35:53] these informations or or something and
[35:57] um yeah so I think he's just trying to
[35:59] eliminate the people from accountability
[36:02] probably because they weren't involved I
[36:04] don't know
[36:05] >> leadership uh that's here with us this
[36:07] morning our younger senior leadership
[36:10] team uh who had nothing to do with these
[36:12] decisions and just want to again
[36:15] >> appreciate them for their support and
[36:17] also to honor them
[36:22] culture of honor to honor them.
[36:26] So they're supporting the big three.
[36:28] Here's Dan Fairley speaking, Chris
[36:30] Fallatin and Bill Johnson and they've
[36:32] the culture of honored them. Um
[36:36] and um it's just
[36:38] >> [clears throat]
[36:41] >> They're honoring these guys who have
[36:45] sorry committed they and they admit they
[36:47] committed a a grievous error. A grievous
[36:49] error.
[36:53] You honor them toward their repentance.
[36:55] But
[36:57] again, just show these things, guys.
[37:00] Culture of honor. Culture of honor. And
[37:03] he actually says Danny Silk was involved
[37:05] in the in knowing about this. So here we
[37:07] go. Keep going. the immense help
[37:11] they have been. As we process these, we
[37:15] process our failure.
[37:17] >> I I don't know. It's hard to tell. Are
[37:18] these crocodile tears? I don't know. Um
[37:21] are these contrived? I don't know. I
[37:23] tend to think Danny
[37:25] fairly is a a truly uh a truly deceived
[37:30] person.
[37:32] Bill and Chris are false teachers.
[37:35] I mean, I've got the stack right Here,
[37:36] I'll show you all this later. Got a
[37:38] stack right here of false teaching.
[37:40] Okay. I think Danny is Yeah.
[37:45] Don't know. I mean, I I can't say. I've
[37:48] never read his he's not he's not written
[37:49] books, I don't believe. Um so, but he is
[37:52] he's definitely deceived. Um anyways,
[37:56] >> so we we're clear. We're not responsible
[37:58] for Sean's sin. Sean is, but we're
[38:01] equally clear that we are responsible
[38:02] for our sin, our inaction.
[38:06] our actions after the fact. And the
[38:09] scripture talks about this in kind of a
[38:10] surprising place. It's sobering that one
[38:12] man's sin can impact you in the moment
[38:14] of correction. And I'm going to read it
[38:17] to you out of GL.
[38:18] >> So just as a a background, someone just
[38:20] said in the comments, great. Uh they
[38:23] have known about this for 7 to eight
[38:24] years. So it's hard to have compassion
[38:25] for them honestly when they're crying
[38:27] and carrying on. Um it's just honestly
[38:29] hard to have. Look, I've been in youth
[38:31] ministry for 30 years. I've had to
[38:35] report essay to child protective
[38:38] services. You do it immediately.
[38:42] You do it immediately.
[38:45] You go to the staff that day. You get
[38:47] gathered together the pastoral staff,
[38:48] the senior pastoral staff and say, "Help
[38:51] me connect with child services. We're
[38:53] going to do this together." And I mean,
[38:56] do not pass go. Do not collect $200.
[38:58] Now, this is a challenge because
[39:02] um they went to him and he says no. But
[39:06] then you have two or three witnesses and
[39:08] you make that thing public immediately.
[39:12] It was kind of a challenge because you
[39:14] know um I mean it is sexual harassment
[39:16] for sure what he was doing. For sure
[39:19] what he was doing. I mean as is actually
[39:21] criminal probably in the sense if this
[39:23] guy person wants to press charges um
[39:26] yeah if someone had reported him to the
[39:29] proper authorities right away
[39:32] he certainly could have served jail
[39:33] time. I mean this is sexual harassment
[39:35] for sure. Um and um [clears throat]
[39:39] yeah, so
[39:42] look, you don't sit on something for 7
[39:44] to 8 years and then they were called out
[39:50] um in the these personal texts between
[39:52] Chris and the minor prophets. And that's
[39:55] been about a six months ago. I don't
[39:57] exactly when did that video come out
[39:58] from the minor prophets. Can anybody
[39:59] help me help me out with that timeline
[40:01] real quick? um that came out a while ago
[40:05] and they still were like it's not our
[40:07] problem,
[40:09] you know. Um yeah, so the it's hard to
[40:13] have any kind of sympathy for him when
[40:16] they sat on this thing for a long time.
[40:18] Um let's see. Anybody known the time
[40:22] when the minor profits video came out?
[40:24] Because they exposed Chris's knowledge
[40:26] of this for a long time. I think a year
[40:28] ago someone said, "Okay, so yeah, let's
[40:30] say six months to a year. [laughter]
[40:32] Let's listen. Keep listening. It's hard
[40:33] to have sympathy for these guys.
[40:36] >> 6:es 1-5.
[40:39] Brothers and sisters, if someone is
[40:40] caught in sin, you who live by the
[40:42] spirit should restore them that person
[40:45] gently.
[40:47] >> All right. This is not this. They quote
[40:50] this passage all the time. It makes me
[40:52] so irate. This is not about restoring
[40:55] someone to ministry. That's all they
[40:58] were ready to do. They were all set up
[41:00] to try to get this guy. And that's what
[41:01] Sean's read gonna do himself. Look, he's
[41:03] got it over here in his statement. He's
[41:05] got it over here. Uh, I'm back back for
[41:08] public ministry leadership and enter a
[41:09] season of sabbatical so this work can
[41:12] continue with care and integrity.
[41:15] I'm thankful for those who walk this
[41:17] journey with us. He is prepping himself
[41:20] already for restoring to ministry. He is
[41:25] disqualified
[41:26] permanently. Okay, so someone says it
[41:28] was exactly one year ago. um the the
[41:31] Modern Prophets podcast.
[41:33] It's just it's it's unbelievable. It's
[41:36] unbelievable.
[41:38] So, um this passage of scripture is not
[41:41] to be used to restoring someone to the
[41:44] faith. But but actually, he has not
[41:47] repented. He has resisted them. Chris
[41:50] talks about it in a moment, folks. Um
[41:53] so, let's just let him
[41:54] >> But watch yourselves or you also may be
[41:57] tempted.
[41:58] >> Yeah. Watch yourselves or you may be
[42:00] tempted to cover up his sins and
[42:03] indiscretions for seven years.
[42:07] >> Carry each other's burdens.
[42:08] >> Since 19. Since 19.
[42:10] >> And in this way, you will fulfill the
[42:13] law of Christ.
[42:15] If anyone thinks they are something when
[42:17] they are not, they deceive themselves.
[42:21] Each one should test his own action,
[42:24] >> you know. So, someone just asked in the
[42:25] in the comments, "Is there anything good
[42:27] about Bethl?"
[42:29] Um,
[42:32] I would ask you if I threw a pile of
[42:36] turd into beautiful, lovely wine, a big
[42:39] vat of wine, wonderful vat of wine,
[42:43] what do you have?
[42:47] You have turd wine. If you know that
[42:50] there's a big pile of crap at the bottom
[42:53] of the vat of wine and I tell you, hey,
[42:57] there's a big pile of crap at the bottom
[42:59] of that vat of wine. Are you going to
[43:01] drink it?
[43:06] I'm just going to guess no. No,
[43:10] no.
[43:12] So, this might be a good mo this might
[43:14] be good right here. what they're doing.
[43:16] Actually, the giving to the po money to
[43:19] the poor might be good,
[43:22] but overall what they're doing is
[43:24] they're leading people astray into
[43:28] apostasy
[43:31] and to false teaching. And uh
[43:36] yeah, it no, there's there's there's no
[43:39] baby in the bathwater. If there's
[43:41] anything good in that bathwater,
[43:44] it's corrupted by the turd at the bottom
[43:46] of the vat of wine.
[43:50] The Bible says a little levan leavenvens
[43:52] the whole lump. If you throw some
[43:55] leavenan into a lump of of dough, it
[43:58] will leaven the entire dough.
[44:01] So, according to to to the New Testament
[44:04] writers, if there is false teaching in a
[44:08] little bit, think about what Paul did to
[44:10] Peter. He My camera went out again. He
[44:13] approached him and confronted him to his
[44:16] face for a little deal. A little deal.
[44:20] What did he do? He withdrew from the
[44:23] Jews, from the Greeks when when the Jews
[44:26] came and did not eat with them. and he
[44:30] was corrupting the gospel according to
[44:33] Paul and he confronted him to his face.
[44:36] So a little levan like doing that
[44:41] what Peter had been done
[44:44] was corrupting the gospel a little bit
[44:47] just a little bit
[44:50] and so yes the corruption is great, you
[44:54] know, since Michael Brown has his stack
[44:56] of books I've got my stack of books. So,
[44:57] I'm going to bring my stack of books out
[44:59] here. This is my stack of books of the
[45:01] corruption of Bethl. This is just a few.
[45:02] I I don't I didn't bring them all out,
[45:04] but I'm going to I'm going to use these
[45:05] as props today to ask Bethl if they're
[45:08] ready and willing to repent from it all.
[45:10] So, here we go. We're going to keep
[45:12] going. I mean, this is a good statement.
[45:13] I I'll be honest. I'm very, very
[45:15] surprised.
[45:17] But it does not negate the turd at the
[45:20] bottom of the wine. There is turd in the
[45:23] wine vat. It's turd wine.
[45:28] That's That's nice. That's fun. Turd
[45:29] wine. Here we go.
[45:34] >> Then they can take pride in themselves
[45:35] alone without comparing themselves to
[45:38] someone else. For each one of us should
[45:40] carry their own load.
[45:44] So the the truth is
[45:46] >> I think that's the very first time I've
[45:47] heard someone read a section of
[45:48] scripture from the stage at Bethl.
[45:50] That's that was like four or five maybe
[45:52] six, seven verses. I I don't think I've
[45:55] ever heard that before. He read that
[45:56] whole portion of Galatians.
[45:57] >> We have hurt and scared people because
[46:00] we did not tell the truth early enough,
[46:03] long enough, or loud enough. And this is
[46:07] a completely fair criticism.
[46:11] I am sad and embarrassed about this. We
[46:14] are sad and embarrassed about this. And
[46:16] I just ask you just not to judge too
[46:18] harshly. We have experienced this three
[46:20] times. We'll do it. We'll do it with the
[46:22] one:00 service and then tonight as well.
[46:24] And so maybe not look for a lot of
[46:26] subtle emotional clues. We we've been up
[46:28] since 3 this morning,
[46:34] >> right? Don't judge us too harshly. We've
[46:37] been up since 3. We're we're we're the
[46:39] victims in this thing. Seriously, bro.
[46:46] >> When we uh sin publicly or make a mess
[46:49] publicly as we have, it's important to
[46:50] take responsibility publicly. And that's
[46:52] one of the things we'll be talking about
[46:54] to listen as people share their
[46:56] frustration, their sadness, their fears,
[46:58] and their correction. And we're getting
[46:59] a lot of that on texts and social media.
[47:02] And it's people's sadness, fears,
[47:04] frustration, and correction. And we've
[47:06] earned that.
[47:08] We've been hearing a lot of this and we
[47:10] expect to hear more in the season ahead
[47:13] is that sometimes takes a while for the
[47:15] frustration to land. You kind of want to
[47:16] take care of us in the moment and cover
[47:18] us, but you know, in two weeks or two
[47:19] months, you're like, "Wait, what
[47:21] happened?" So people are going to cover
[47:22] them
[47:25] sort of like they did uh last week when
[47:27] they gave Chris Valatin a standing
[47:29] ovation that people if you're at Bethl
[47:32] if you are still at Bethl
[47:35] you must be like I want to give be very
[47:38] very compassionate here. He must be
[47:39] reeling. Like what? Like what? What was
[47:43] last week? Uh last week he defended
[47:47] himself and threw Mike Winger under the
[47:50] bus.
[47:53] I mean, he accused Mike Winger of
[47:55] profiteering off of this controversy.
[47:58] Does he still believe that?
[48:01] He actually said Mike Winger had done a
[48:04] pay-per-view. It was like he did a
[48:06] pay-per-view boxing event. Do y'all
[48:08] remember that? I don't Go look go back.
[48:10] I did the I reviewed the entire sermon.
[48:13] I'm going to review all this now
[48:14] tonight. It's going to take me a long
[48:16] time, guys. I'm sorry. It's later here
[48:18] to Germany. I'm just going to stick I'm
[48:19] sticking with it with y'all because we
[48:21] got to cover this. So, does he believe
[48:23] all that stuff? He doesn't He didn't say
[48:25] anything about his sermon from last week
[48:27] except for excusing it. Here we go.
[48:29] Let's keep going.
[48:30] >> Just want you to know we're here for you
[48:32] in that moment, too.
[48:34] >> So, you're there for them in that
[48:36] moment, too. So people who are
[48:38] deeply confused, go to the people who've
[48:40] covered this thing up for the last seven
[48:42] years and confide in them. Real smart
[48:46] move. Don't do that. Don't do that. If
[48:49] they're offering you counseling at this
[48:50] at this church, you need to go somewhere
[48:54] else, man.
[48:56] I'm just saying.
[48:58] >> And I'm not rushing past this.
[49:03] I want to thank especially our alumni.
[49:06] Some of you are probably in the room
[49:07] right now. And um there's about, this is
[49:10] always mindboggling to me, there's
[49:12] 18,000 alumni running around the planet
[49:16] and reading and around this congregation
[49:17] here. And
[49:19] >> that's a problem. 18,000
[49:22] Bethl School of Supernatural Ministry
[49:24] alumni going to other places in the
[49:27] world and spreading their levan,
[49:28] spreading their evil gang green.
[49:34] Folks, it that's what the that's what
[49:36] the apostles of the New Testament called
[49:39] such teaching.
[49:42] Teaching that perverts grace like we
[49:44] just read here. Let's go back to Jude
[49:46] real quick. Go back to Jude.
[49:52] For certain people have crept in
[49:53] unnoticed who long ago were designated
[49:55] for this condemnation.
[49:58] ungodly people who pervert the grace of
[50:00] our Lord God into sensuality and deny
[50:03] our only master and Lord Jesus Christ.
[50:09] They're gang green. These that's that's
[50:12] the words that the the the New Testament
[50:14] writers have for false teachers.
[50:18] They're perverting grace and turning it
[50:21] into sensuality. And that's what's h
[50:23] look at look at what's happened in the
[50:24] last little bit
[50:27] from from from the Todd Bentley scandal.
[50:32] He slept. This is amazing. Just look at
[50:35] what he did. He abused
[50:39] so many people sexually.
[50:43] The the very roots of this thing are
[50:45] sensual.
[50:47] So why are people surprised when Mike
[50:49] Bickl
[50:52] comes out 40 years of of of essay of 17
[50:55] women? Because the entire thing is
[50:59] sensuous.
[51:01] The bridegroom paradigm, the man of the
[51:03] sons of God, we are the chosen. We are
[51:06] the ones who are going to bring back
[51:08] Jesus Christ to this earth. That is
[51:10] sensuous. They are not that important.
[51:15] All right. Here
[51:17] we go. Let's keep going. I got to get
[51:19] through it. We got to get through it.
[51:21] >> Yeah. So blessed by them. But frankly,
[51:24] it was their communication, their
[51:26] agitation, their pestering. They're
[51:28] like, "What about this? What about
[51:29] this?" that began to happen on our
[51:32] alumni pages. So they had to pester you
[51:34] to get you to do something. That's
[51:36] that's what's that's what's kind of
[51:37] bothersome. Good for y'all. Like BSSM
[51:40] students,
[51:42] if you like are actually true
[51:44] Christians, you follow the true Christ
[51:46] who did not divest himself of his
[51:49] divinity
[51:50] and you want to be sanctified in the
[51:53] true Holy Spirit, not the fake Holy
[51:55] Spirit of these these these false
[51:58] teachers.
[52:01] and you are being sanctified and you
[52:02] care about righteousness
[52:06] and truth
[52:09] and accountability,
[52:11] then it shouldn't have taken them this
[52:13] long. Y'all been pestering them actually
[52:15] since the minor prophets thing came out.
[52:19] And now they could not do any they could
[52:21] not do otherwise. They had to have done
[52:23] this statement today because Mike
[52:25] Winger's thing is almost seen a million
[52:26] times now, I I'm not sure exactly right
[52:28] now, but um his video been seen about a
[52:31] million times.
[52:32] >> That at first was a a frustration and
[52:34] then you realized this is necessary.
[52:37] >> They were frustrated by their pestering.
[52:39] See,
[52:40] I don't know. The more I listen to this,
[52:42] this is the second time around I've
[52:43] listened to this. I'm not sure. Do you
[52:45] say that the BSSM students were
[52:48] pestering us and we were frustrated by
[52:50] their pestering and now we we this isn't
[52:53] really necessary.
[52:55] doesn't sound like repentance actually
[52:57] that that we're doing this because they
[52:59] pestered us.
[53:00] >> They drew our attention back and sub
[53:02] subsequently other national voices have
[53:04] joined that and as well you might have
[53:05] been seeing some of those things as well
[53:07] as and they called us to finally and
[53:10] appropriately address this.
[53:13] >> So other national voices called them.
[53:15] >> We're simply
[53:16] >> other national voices called them to
[53:18] address it. So it sounds like
[53:21] which other national voices?
[53:24] All right. Calling us to live up to what
[53:27] we taught them.
[53:33] Calling out the the gold in us as we
[53:36] taught them.
[53:38] The BSSM students were calling out the
[53:41] gold in Chris Valatin and Danny Fairley
[53:46] and in Bill Johnson. Are you serious,
[53:48] bro?
[53:50] Wow.
[53:53] So, I said this in our live stream the
[53:55] other day. I think that they don't act,
[53:56] they're pelagians. They don't believe in
[53:58] the sin nature. They believe that
[53:59] there's gold deep down, not sin.
[54:05] And so,
[54:07] what Chris what Chris is actually doing
[54:09] with his gaslighting sermon last week is
[54:12] actually he's just opening up his
[54:15] theology and saying, "I don't believe in
[54:18] sin.
[54:20] There's gold down there.
[54:23] That's what their prophecy does. It
[54:25] actually the prophetic is supposed to
[54:27] call out the golden people. And does
[54:30] that reflect the prophetic gift of of
[54:33] the Old and New Testament?
[54:36] No. What does the prophet do? He calls
[54:40] out sin in the camp and calls to people
[54:44] to repent and turn back to God. Look at
[54:48] the prophets of all of history. The ones
[54:52] who of course there's a prophetic that
[54:55] that looks to the future that prophesies
[54:57] like Christ for instance or the coming
[54:59] you know or the the return of Christ and
[55:02] revelation and things like this. But the
[55:05] prophetic gift if it's speaking it to a
[55:08] individual
[55:11] it's calling people sin. Nathan, you are
[55:15] the man.
[55:18] calling even even Balum wicked Balum was
[55:21] disallowed from prophesying against
[55:24] Israel. Yeah. I mean,
[55:30] I'm just at a loss,
[55:34] their entire I mean, and and there was a
[55:38] uh Johnson's son, um I think he
[55:41] preached, it's been a long time ago now,
[55:43] but you have to believe I have to
[55:45] believe that their man is basically
[55:47] good.
[55:50] He said that from the stage years ago.
[55:54] They don't believe in total depravity.
[55:59] So he this slips out. I don't know. You
[56:01] called out the I don't know if anybody
[56:02] else caught it. Um let's listen to it
[56:05] again. So BSSM students were calling out
[56:07] the gold in Bill, Chris, and Danny.
[56:12] >> Calling out the
[56:13] >> Here we go. Go back.
[56:18] >> Calling out the the gold in us. That's
[56:20] what we taught them.
[56:22] And this isn't over today. Uh nor are we
[56:26] >> I just shake my head like man
[56:29] calling out the gold. So was it was it
[56:32] the gold that uh made you cover this up
[56:35] for seven years? That that gold is that
[56:37] the gold they're calling out? What gold
[56:39] specifically were they calling out?
[56:42] Um
[56:46] was that golden of you to hide
[56:50] people's abuse?
[56:53] and to cover up
[56:56] the abuses, prophetic abuses that these
[57:00] two folks suffered,
[57:02] Jubilee
[57:04] and um I can't remember that guy's name
[57:07] um that that did the film and was on
[57:09] Mike Winger's show and invested his
[57:11] whole fortune um in this movie. Um um
[57:17] was that was that golden of y'all to
[57:20] cover that up so that those people would
[57:21] be abused so that they would listen to
[57:23] Shawn?
[57:25] All right, here we go.
[57:26] >> Putting a bow on this and moving it on.
[57:28] Moving on. Uh we have had a lot of key
[57:31] conversations this year. We expect to
[57:33] continue to have key conversations and
[57:35] but this is the beginning of making
[57:37] things right as we've
[57:38] >> Elijah Elijah Stevens. Thank you guys. I
[57:40] I don't have everybody's name in my
[57:42] head. Elijah Stevens did invested his
[57:45] entire life life's fortune into making
[57:49] this movie and I don't know if it it
[57:51] just probably didn't return what he had
[57:52] imagined it would return. So yeah, and
[57:55] Sean basically said, "Go for it, man.
[57:57] That God's telling you to do it." And
[57:59] >> an increase in accountability this
[58:01] morning is about accountability before
[58:03] you guys and hopefully under
[58:05] transformation.
[58:07] And as you all know, it's not our
[58:09] mistakes or our sins that define us, but
[58:13] what our savior does and how we respond
[58:16] to his amazing grace.
[58:19] And that is our great hope this morning.
[58:22] Uh let's not to applause this morning.
[58:23] And this is a somber moment, but I'm
[58:25] just going to ask Chris to come and and
[58:29] >> let's not do applause. So don't applause
[58:30] for them like you did last week when you
[58:33] they applause for every they applaud
[58:35] everybody who approaches their stage
[58:38] because they believe that these people
[58:39] are prophets and apostles. Folks, I
[58:42] meant to say this at the beginning
[58:43] actually when I started. These are not
[58:45] the apostles and prophets that you are
[58:48] looking for.
[58:52] Now I'm very glad that they've actually
[58:53] sort of, you know, kind of it's about a
[58:55] half I'm I'm a little bit torn. I'll be
[58:57] honest. I'm a little bit torn. Seems
[58:59] like they've done they've admitted it.
[59:01] They've admitted it
[59:03] right. They admitted they did it. But
[59:05] I'm torn because they are false prophets
[59:08] and false apostles and their teaching is
[59:11] false teaching to the core. And there's
[59:13] poo at the bottom of the vat of wine.
[59:18] It's wonderful vintage wine, but there's
[59:20] poo at the bottom.
[59:23] And I don't know if you can get it out,
[59:24] man.
[59:26] There's leavenan in the lump.
[59:29] There's leaven in the lump.
[59:31] And uh so
[59:34] I'm glad they've done it. I'm glad glad
[59:36] they've admitted it. I mean they had to.
[59:38] They really had they basically had to.
[59:39] There's there's I mean after Chris
[59:40] Valad's sermon everybody that there was
[59:43] hundreds of YouTubers
[59:46] I I I can only imagine hundreds of
[59:48] YouTubers covering his sermon. I covered
[59:50] the entire sermon and go back and look
[59:52] at it.
[59:55] And and people people weren't letting
[59:56] him off the hook. People weren't letting
[59:58] them off the hook and so this is they I
[60:00] think they they really just had to. They
[60:02] had to. There was no way they could get
[60:03] around it. All right. Here we go.
[60:05] >> Share your heart with us.
[60:08] >> All right. So, they're not going to
[60:09] >> ask for prayer. We are praying for you
[60:11] as you share. We love you.
[60:12] >> All right. Here we go. Here's the big
[60:15] admission. This is the
[60:16] >> morning.
[60:17] >> I mean, this is actually in the long
[60:19] run. This is the the main one. This is
[60:21] the one that uh gets the details, but he
[60:24] doesn't actually get into the details,
[60:25] the gritty details, but he actually
[60:27] talks about what he did. And then Bill
[60:29] Johnson kind of just comes up
[60:30] afterwards.
[60:31] >> Um I'm incredibly anxious.
[60:34] I've not ever done anything like this
[60:36] before. Well, I've done it twice today
[60:38] already.
[60:40] I feel a little bit uh like my emotional
[60:44] tank is emptying, but um
[60:48] [snorts]
[60:48] >> I feel loved by you. Um so I want to
[60:51] take you on a little journey and tell
[60:53] you about the process with Sean Boltz
[60:56] and I I want to say I had I've had a
[60:59] heart change in the from on Monday
[61:01] morning I had an encounter with the Lord
[61:04] and
[61:05] >> so on Monday morning he had an encounter
[61:07] with the Lord. So he preached this
[61:09] gaslighting sermon
[61:12] on Sunday and then on Monday morning he
[61:14] had an encounter with the Lord.
[61:17] You kidding me, bro?
[61:20] That sermon was the most wicked
[61:24] thing I've e I think I've ever heard.
[61:29] That sermon was the most gaslighting,
[61:32] victimlaming thing I have ever heard.
[61:34] Darvo
[61:36] is what other people said about it. Deny
[61:40] and reverse victim and abuser.
[61:43] That's what he did. And actually, I
[61:45] quoted these scriptures. I got these
[61:47] scriptures out so that we would see what
[61:50] he actually did on that in that in that
[61:53] sermon. It was not a sermon. It was a
[61:54] speech. He didn't preach anything from
[61:56] scripture. He preached his own vain
[61:58] imaginations. And here's what it says.
[61:59] Proverbs 17:15. He who justifies the
[62:03] wicked and he who condemns the righteous
[62:05] are both alike and abomination to the
[62:08] Lord. So in that sermon he justified
[62:13] wicked actions of all. I mean he could
[62:15] he could have just inserted uh the next
[62:18] prophet didn't have to be Shawn BS. It
[62:21] could have been Mike Bickle because he
[62:22] did the same thing to Mike. He justified
[62:24] Mike's actions and said I love Mike
[62:26] Bickl.
[62:30] Chris Reid could have put it plugged in
[62:31] Chris Reed. He could have plugged in
[62:33] Todd Bentley could have plugged in any
[62:35] single name and he justified the wicked
[62:38] and then he reversed it and condemn the
[62:41] righteous. Mike Winger, he did a
[62:44] righteous thing.
[62:46] He did a righteous thing.
[62:49] And if you don't believe that, then you
[62:51] are wicked yourself and you must repent.
[62:54] If you can watch Mike Winger's video
[62:58] and think he's done something wrong,
[63:02] you are wrong.
[63:05] You're wrong.
[63:07] Mike Winger has done a righteous thing
[63:10] by doing what scripture says and
[63:14] exposing the worthless deeds of
[63:16] darkness.
[63:18] And so he who justifies the wicked and
[63:20] he who condemns the righteous are both
[63:22] alike an abomination to the Lord. So
[63:24] what Chris did on Sunday was an
[63:27] abomination to the Lord. And here we go.
[63:30] Woe to those who call evil good. Isaiah
[63:33] 5:20. And good evil. Who put darkness
[63:36] for light and light for darkness. Who
[63:37] put bitter for sweet and sweet for
[63:39] bitter. And who pervert the grace of
[63:41] God. That's what he did on Sunday. And
[63:43] so he says the next day
[63:46] he had an encounter with the Lord.
[63:50] What? Really?
[63:53] just don't believe you. I don't believe
[63:54] you. He's trying to make himself more
[63:57] spiritual than he really is. He did not
[63:59] have an encounter with the Lord. If he
[64:00] if he had an encounter with the Lord,
[64:01] the Lord Jesus Christ would have come to
[64:03] him and said, "Chris, you must repent
[64:06] for your wicked covering up. You are an
[64:09] abomination to the Lord."
[64:12] I hope that's the encounter. Maybe that
[64:13] was the encounter. He doesn't really say
[64:15] what it was, but he's trying again like
[64:18] he always does. I have encounters with
[64:20] the Lord all the time at the drop of a
[64:22] hat. morning, Monday morning. On Monday
[64:23] morning, he had an encounter with the
[64:25] Lord.
[64:28] Unbelievable. So, let's see what he says
[64:30] here. Go back real quick.
[64:33] And I I want to say I had I've had a
[64:37] heart change in the on Monday morning. I
[64:40] had an encounter with the Lord and I I
[64:43] see things quite differently and I
[64:46] >> All right. So, on Monday morning, he had
[64:49] a heart change, an encounter with the
[64:50] Lord.
[64:52] I wonder if it was because the rest of
[64:54] the church, the visible church was
[64:57] calling him to repentance for his awful,
[65:00] evil
[65:02] disgrace for a sermon. He called a
[65:04] sermon. I'll talk about the change in my
[65:08] heart since that encounter
[65:11] um to that. So in um 2019 it came to our
[65:15] attention uh through some European
[65:18] leaders that that that Shawn Boltz was
[65:20] using Facebook to get some of his uh
[65:23] words of knowledge.
[65:25] >> So in 2019 he got credible from European
[65:29] leaders. I I was really curious what uh
[65:31] what European leaders he's talking
[65:32] about. Uh I wonder if it was actually
[65:34] Jean Nuke Choxel or someone like that or
[65:37] Ben Fitzgerald. He's in Germany. Uh or
[65:40] others. uh I can't uh Vanderstein
[65:45] um there's a lot of European leaders who
[65:48] might have given that information and uh
[65:51] so it was credible. So what do you do
[65:53] with those kind of things from people
[65:55] who are in the movement who think wait a
[65:57] minute that's not right how is he doing
[65:59] that and they track it down they figure
[66:01] out that he's doing it via data mining
[66:04] from social media or whatever and um we
[66:07] got involved Danny and I Danny Silk and
[66:10] I Bill was out with his wife was passing
[66:13] >> the author of Culture of Honor
[66:17] so and and he says uh Bill Johnson's
[66:20] wife was passing
[66:22] Why was she passing again? I thought
[66:24] that Bethl was a cancer-free zone. I'm
[66:26] really not trying to pile on, but they
[66:29] claim that they can heal cancer and they
[66:32] cannot
[66:34] because they're trying to promise you
[66:36] something that's built into the atoning
[66:38] work of Jesus Christ. And healing for
[66:40] this life is not built in to the atoning
[66:44] work of Jesus Christ. I've got a bigger
[66:46] audience than I'm typically used to. And
[66:49] so I'm gonna really put these
[66:50] theological points in so y'all see,
[66:52] especially if people from Bethl are
[66:53] watching.
[66:55] Healing is not a promise for this life
[66:58] or Benny Johnson would not have died.
[67:02] Healing is not a promise for this life
[67:05] or Bill's mother would not have died.
[67:09] Healing is not a promise for this life
[67:10] or Bill's father would not have died.
[67:16] I I hope you all get that by now.
[67:19] All right, here we go.
[67:21] >> Sick and uh we got involved
[67:25] and uh we began to do an investigation.
[67:28] As we we were doing that somewhere in
[67:30] the midst of that, it might have even
[67:32] started
[67:32] >> on Sunday last he said he had no chance,
[67:34] no possibility to do an investigation.
[67:36] He's not a lawyer. He's not the law. He
[67:38] doesn't have ability to do
[67:39] investigation. But here he actually said
[67:41] so he lied to y'all last week.
[67:43] He lied to y'all saying that he could
[67:45] not do an investigation. He has no
[67:46] capability of doing investigation. But
[67:48] they did. He just says it. They did an
[67:49] investigation.
[67:51] >> First sexual allegations about Sean's uh
[67:55] ministry in a spec.
[67:57] >> So someone said, "I do believe in divine
[67:59] healing. I I believe in divine healing
[68:00] too, but it is not a promise for this
[68:03] life, and it is not built in to the
[68:05] atoning work of Jesus Christ." Healing
[68:08] is not a promise built in or given as a
[68:13] result of the atoning work of Christ. By
[68:15] his stripes you are healed is
[68:18] specifically talking about sin. Look at
[68:20] the context of Isaiah 53. If you look at
[68:22] Isaiah 53, I've got also lots of work.
[68:24] Look at my history and you can see the
[68:27] work I've done on this healing is that
[68:30] Isaiah 53 was never understood as a
[68:33] promise as a promise of the result of
[68:37] Christ's atoning work on the cross.
[68:39] Never in history until the late
[68:42] modernity was it ever understood as
[68:45] being about physical healing. Only at
[68:48] the inception of AB Simpson and uh and
[68:51] his idea that it was part of the gospel.
[68:54] the four-fold gospel he preached. Never
[68:56] had it ever been preached in human
[68:58] history. Go back and look at human
[69:00] history at at church history. Never in
[69:04] all of church history has Isaiah 53 or
[69:06] what Peter repeated from Isaiah 53 ever
[69:08] been understood as physical healing for
[69:11] this life. All right, here we go.
[69:13] >> Specifically around his
[69:14] >> Let's get some context to that. It might
[69:17] have even started first sexual
[69:19] allegations.
[69:20] >> Oh, wait. I got to go back and get some
[69:21] context. uh we began to do an
[69:23] investigation as we we were doing that
[69:26] somewhere in the midst of that it might
[69:27] have even started first sexual
[69:30] allegations about Shawn's uh ministry
[69:33] and specifically around his employees
[69:37] came
[69:38] >> harassment
[69:39] >> sexual harassment came to light
[69:42] >> sexual harassment
[69:43] >> um Danny
[69:43] >> someone corrected
[69:44] >> got in the trenches there and began to
[69:47] investigate the sexual allegations and
[69:49] also the u and Danny They got the there
[69:52] was 14 uh Facebook videos that the
[69:55] Europeans had put together in their own
[69:57] investigation and they said, "Can you
[69:59] guys do something about this?"
[70:01] >> Wow. Wow. Europeans, whoever they were,
[70:05] the Europeans who first called this out
[70:07] had 14 videos where they had caught him
[70:10] doing the data mining uh from social
[70:14] medias or wherever he got his data data.
[70:17] Wow.
[70:18] >> So, Danny,
[70:19] >> sounds like a sounds like a lot of
[70:20] evidence. Sounds like a lot of evidence.
[70:22] >> Who was uh you know we we were I'll say
[70:24] we were all friends of Shawn. Sean was
[70:26] here many times in 2014 when I had a
[70:29] nervous breakdown. He ministered to me
[70:30] several times through my nervous
[70:32] breakdown
[70:34] and so he was a friend of the house.
[70:36] >> So wait wait wait
[70:37] >> my nervous times in 2014 when I had a
[70:40] nervous breakdown. He ministered to me
[70:41] several
[70:42] >> in 2014 he had a nervous breakdown. So
[70:45] [clears throat]
[70:46] yeah, um
[70:49] 12 years ago. So he had a nervous time
[70:51] through my nervous breakdown
[70:54] and so he was a friend of the house at
[70:56] the time.
[70:58] And Danny looked at the videos and flew
[71:02] to LA and showed him the videos and also
[71:06] showed him the sexual
[71:09] uh allegations and he flatly denied it.
[71:13] I didn't do that. I would never do that.
[71:16] Um I don't know why you'd think I'd do
[71:18] that. And it just went nowhere. And so
[71:21] Danny, I I took on the prophetic side. I
[71:26] said, "I'll I'll work on the prophetic
[71:28] thing." And you work on the allegations,
[71:31] the sexual allegations. So Danny did
[71:33] some research, got a hold of some other
[71:35] former employees, and it turned out I'll
[71:38] share I'll spare you all the facts, but
[71:41] it turned out
[71:42] >> so at this point in the chat, a lot of
[71:45] people were going off when I watched it
[71:47] live. People were going off and saying,
[71:48] "Don't spare us the details. Give us the
[71:50] details." So, um, [clears throat] I
[71:53] mean, that was they were going off. The
[71:55] chat was going off, too. So I would say
[71:58] when I watched it live live chat I was
[72:00] trying to follow along a little bit but
[72:02] I would say about three four four of the
[72:04] people were really supportive because
[72:06] that's their that's their main live
[72:07] stream that's their that's their people
[72:09] and about the other quarter were like
[72:12] really uh opposing them and giving it to
[72:17] them. So yeah um so what were the
[72:21] details there? So
[72:24] yeah, they they actually confronted him.
[72:26] Apparently it was them two personally,
[72:29] Danny and him. Um I guess that was when
[72:33] he traveled to him and didn't say, but
[72:36] um it was going nowhere. They they
[72:37] confronted him and nothing was
[72:39] happening. He was he was denying it.
[72:41] >> That those allegations were not only
[72:43] true, but it was a culture from Okay, so
[72:45] here we go.
[72:45] >> Former employees. And it turned out back
[72:48] to the
[72:49] >> research got a hold of some other former
[72:51] employees and it turned out I'll share
[72:54] I'll spare you all the facts but it
[72:57] turned out that those allegations were
[72:59] not only true but it was a culture. So
[73:01] apparently it seems like it was after
[73:03] they confronted him, he got some more
[73:05] evidence and more things came to light
[73:07] and got more former I guess employees or
[73:10] employees and that it they came to came
[73:13] to the conclusion that it was a culture
[73:15] a culture of sexual devian like um like
[73:19] Mike Winger exposed and uh prophecy and
[73:24] the like. So
[73:25] >> for a long time
[73:26] >> for a long time.
[73:30] >> Sorry.
[73:32] And so I flew to LA and confronted him
[73:36] and it was a 4-hour meeting. The first
[73:38] two hours was
[73:40] >> confronting him as
[73:41] >> so no. So this was they were still
[73:43] gathering. I'm trying to get the
[73:45] timeline right. It's not real clear. The
[73:47] timeline was they had gathered all these
[73:50] and gota gathered more that would show
[73:52] that it was a real culture of you know
[73:54] of sexual perversion and um abuse and
[73:58] harassment.
[74:00] Um and uh I mean naked harassment n when
[74:03] you're naked and you know sexual sexual
[74:06] harassment is smacking someone on the
[74:08] butt. Um, is it sexual harassment when
[74:11] you actually are naked and you are
[74:13] pleasuring yourself in front of them
[74:16] while they're trapped in your hotel room
[74:18] with you and they're a and they're a
[74:21] employee? I mean, I I don't know. Like,
[74:23] wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. So, here we go. So,
[74:27] they went to confront him. They got on a
[74:29] plane and went to confront him.
[74:30] >> Galatians 1. as a friend who had sinned
[74:34] and calling him to repentance
[74:38] and he's flatly denied that he had done
[74:40] anything wrong, that he would never do
[74:41] that
[74:43] and it it really got nowhere. The last
[74:45] two hours were a very different meeting,
[74:49] a very passionate meeting.
[74:51] >> So two hours apparently they confronted
[74:53] him and then the last two hours it got
[74:55] passionate, he got angry and probably um
[74:59] maybe threw him out in the end. Who
[75:00] knows?
[75:01] >> And I was saying to him, if you don't
[75:04] confess your sin, if someone else has to
[75:06] confess your sin, it's going to get
[75:08] ugly. Cuz if you confess your sin,
[75:11] you're going to get forgiveness and
[75:12] you're going to get repentance and
[75:14] you're going to get whole. But if
[75:15] someone else confesses your sin, your
[75:17] whole ministry is going to burn down.
[75:20] Your whole ministry is going to burn
[75:22] down. So if you don't confess your sin,
[75:24] your ministry, your ministry is going to
[75:25] burn down. I was like, "Bro, your
[75:27] ministry is going to burn down if you
[75:29] don't
[75:30] if you don't get in here and do the
[75:32] right thing."
[75:33] >> So, they don't care about repentance
[75:36] if it's about your ministry burning
[75:38] down.
[75:43] It's crazy, man. That's crazy. All
[75:45] right, here we go. Keep going. He I
[75:48] mean, you tell you tell me, folks. What
[75:49] do you think?
[75:51] He tells him, Chris Valton tells him,
[75:53] "Your ministry is going to burn down if
[75:55] you don't repent.
[75:57] Your ministry is already over. It's
[75:59] over. He is disqualified."
[76:03] But they will reinstate Ben Armstrong.
[76:06] They'll re He would reinstate Mike Bickl
[76:08] if Mike Bickle repented. They'd
[76:10] reinstate Shawn Bulls if he repented.
[76:12] They'd reinstate Todd Bentley if he
[76:14] repented.
[76:16] But none of them have.
[76:20] You see what I'm saying, folks?
[76:24] This guy Sean BS is forever disqualified
[76:28] from Christian ministry in my opinion.
[76:30] And if he tries to come back, we should
[76:32] oppose him
[76:34] with your help. And I will I'll do my
[76:36] best. If Mike Pickle tries to come back
[76:39] to ministry, he can repent and be
[76:42] restored to the faith and and escape the
[76:45] flames.
[76:48] But he can never ever serve as a
[76:51] preaching teacher in the body of Christ
[76:54] ever again.
[76:57] Neither can Todd Bentley. They're
[76:58] disqualified. Neither can Robert Morris
[77:01] disqualified. Neither can Shaw BS
[77:05] disqualified. And Ben Armstrong, who you
[77:07] have on your stage, he's also
[77:08] disqualified. And he probably essayed
[77:10] someone who is unbelievable
[77:13] [snorts and clears throat]
[77:14] who is under his spiritual care.
[77:17] Disqualified.
[77:19] All right, let's continue.
[77:24] So he didn't
[77:27] it went on for a long time. We we all
[77:30] felt that we should give him some time.
[77:31] We were texting back and forth and
[77:33] pretty soon it was just like no no no no
[77:35] messages back I'm not doing anything
[77:37] this is not happening
[77:40] and
[77:41] I I just be so we we began to meet this
[77:45] is like almost a year passed and and
[77:47] part of it is uh so part of the I think
[77:50] the timeline is that you know where was
[77:53] CO we were in CO Benny was passing
[77:57] um
[77:58] >> what's that
[78:00] >> Eron Candace left.
[78:02] >> So there's a, you know,
[78:06] look, I've been as a pastor, I've been
[78:07] in lots of tents and and difficult
[78:09] situations where you've got lots of
[78:11] things happening at one time. Same thing
[78:13] happened to us. We had a uh sexual
[78:15] allegations in a church and a lot of
[78:16] things were happening at the same time.
[78:18] You have to deal with it immediately.
[78:23] Sorry. I mean, that just that's just
[78:26] what you do as a pastor.
[78:28] And one of my very close, very close
[78:31] family members began a divorce.
[78:35] >> Yeah, he's throwing Shawn on the
[78:36] >> and I was completely exhausted.
[78:39] That's not an excuse,
[78:42] but that was where we were.
[78:46] >> Not an excuse, but sort of is.
[78:49] >> And so we had a conversation like what
[78:52] should we do?
[78:54] And [snorts]
[78:56] he's not repentant.
[78:59] Okay. Well, let's take him off of all of
[79:01] our platforms. So, we took him off of
[79:02] all of our platforms. We took all of his
[79:04] books out of our bookstore. We took all
[79:05] of his messages off off of our
[79:09] uh you know, off of our network. And we
[79:12] we told a bunch of
[79:13] >> So, they scrubbed him. They scrubbed him
[79:15] off their stuff quietly without it's
[79:17] just a unbelievable. Like
[79:22] so Chris Valatin in the last service he
[79:25] said the gifts and call of God are
[79:27] irrevocable in relation to Shawn BS. So
[79:31] I would ask you
[79:34] why did you scrub this privately?
[79:38] What was your thinking? I think their
[79:39] thinking was that the call the gifts and
[79:42] call of God are irrevocable. Although
[79:45] that is not about the spiritual gifts.
[79:47] It's about Israel. It is about Israel.
[79:50] They're That's how they falsify the
[79:52] scriptures, folks. Romans 11, all of it.
[79:56] All of it is about Israel. Not about the
[79:59] spiritual gifts of prophecy, for
[80:01] instance, or the spiritual gifts of
[80:02] anything. It's not about spiritual
[80:04] gifts.
[80:06] It's about Israel. Every single
[80:09] historical commentator
[80:11] up to late modernity and to the new
[80:13] apostolic reformation has understood
[80:17] that Romans 11:29 is about Israel and
[80:22] the irrevocable call and gifts of the
[80:25] covenant of God on Israel are
[80:27] irrevocable.
[80:30] So my question is, do you believe that
[80:32] Shawn BS was a prophet? I kept asking
[80:36] that in the live stream. No one answered
[80:37] me. Do they believe that Shawn BS was a
[80:40] prophet of God?
[80:43] Do they believe that his gifts and call
[80:45] are irrevocable? Meaning he can be
[80:48] restored eventually if he repents.
[80:52] Yeah,
[80:54] they believe that. He he preached on
[80:56] Sunday, last Sunday.
[80:59] He said that in relation to Shawn BS
[81:03] they believe that all these guys are
[81:04] anointed
[81:07] and their anointing construct is a
[81:09] construct. It's created. It's a lie.
[81:12] There is no one more anointed than
[81:14] another. So actually since we really
[81:17] have a a high high viewership right now,
[81:19] really great tuning in. I hope there's a
[81:21] lot of Bethl people tuning in because I
[81:23] want to tell you there is no one more
[81:24] anointed than another.
[81:27] The anointing that Jesus Christ gives us
[81:30] when we are saved and sealed in the Holy
[81:32] Spirit is the anointing. It's not a
[81:35] power.
[81:37] Anointing does not equal power.
[81:39] Anointing is being chosen.
[81:43] The anointed leaders in the Old
[81:44] Testament were anointed to lead. They
[81:47] were chosen by God to lead. Our
[81:49] anointing
[81:51] is just that his choosing us in Christ
[81:54] to seal us by the power of the Holy
[81:56] Spirit to be Christians to be little
[81:59] anointeds. We are little anointed.
[82:00] Doesn't mean we have power. Anointing
[82:02] does not equal power.
[82:06] So they believe in this anointing
[82:08] construct that there if you were
[82:10] anointed at one point like apparently
[82:12] Shawn BS was he said it Sunday last that
[82:14] he gave him prophetic words in his
[82:16] private time that could not have been.
[82:18] So he believes he was anointed at one
[82:20] point. He believes the gifts and call of
[82:22] God on Shawn BS's life are irrevocable,
[82:27] but
[82:29] um it
[82:31] it's just not it's not they're they're
[82:34] misinterpreting all of scripture about
[82:36] the anointing and about the gifts and
[82:38] call of God are irrevocable. Romans
[82:40] 11:29 is about Israel, not about gifts
[82:43] of the spirit. of our close ministry
[82:46] friends that we knew were having him on
[82:48] their platform.
[82:51] But here's the challenge that I didn't
[82:53] understand till 4 days ago, 5 days ago.
[82:57] I thought we were helping somebody else
[82:59] with their problem.
[83:01] He was on many, many platforms. I He
[83:04] thought they were helping Shawn Bulls,
[83:07] somebody else with their problem. Is
[83:08] that what he's saying? I can't quite
[83:10] tell. Is that what he's saying? I just
[83:12] want to make sure I'm getting him right.
[83:14] I think he's saying I we thought till a
[83:17] few days ago that we were helping Shawn
[83:19] with his problem, somebody else. Okay.
[83:22] >> I don't know 100 or 200 churches. Those
[83:25] European
[83:26] >> He was on the platform of 100 to 200
[83:28] churches.
[83:29] >> I thought we were helping somebody else
[83:31] with their problem.
[83:33] He was on many many platforms. I don't
[83:36] know 100 or 200 churches. Those European
[83:39] leaders asked us to help. We weren't on
[83:41] his board. We went to his board on a
[83:44] couple of occasions. They did nothing.
[83:47] And I
[83:48] >> So Sean was on a 100 to 200 church
[83:53] stages.
[83:55] Um, wow. And they went to his board and
[83:57] the board did nothing. Now, I've been
[84:00] talking behind the scenes, especially
[84:01] with other people, and Sean Fu was also
[84:04] on the board. I don't know if he was on
[84:05] the board at this time, but he was on
[84:06] Shawn BS's board. So,
[84:10] um,
[84:12] yeah. Is Shawn Fu also culpable? Does he
[84:15] know about these egregious miscarriages
[84:18] of of of trust by lying prophecies and
[84:23] by sexual abuse? Don't know. But, uh,
[84:27] I'm going to get in with some people and
[84:28] hopefully we'll discover those things.
[84:30] Someone's looking into it. So, let's see
[84:33] if he was on the board at those times.
[84:35] All right, here we go. I was I I I
[84:38] wasn't thinking of it like I would think
[84:39] of a staff member like that happens in
[84:41] our staff that is not going to go. I was
[84:44] like this is not our this is not our
[84:47] responsibility. This is someone else's
[84:50] responsibility. We've done what we could
[84:52] and that was a serious mistake. We
[84:55] [snorts] put him on a global platform
[84:57] and as soon as we did that other people
[85:01] other people believed in him because we
[85:04] believed in him and consequently
[85:08] when he failed and then failed to repent
[85:11] after giving him time to repent, it was
[85:14] our responsibility to tell the people
[85:17] that we told we trust this man to tell
[85:20] them we don't trust this man. And that
[85:23] didn't happen. And that's on me. I made
[85:25] that decision.
[85:27] Um, I know that it sounds like we were
[85:30] hiding something. Uh, I I want to point
[85:32] out to everyone who knows me and our
[85:34] global audience too, I confess my own
[85:38] sins.
[85:39] >> All right.
[85:40] >> When the Lord
[85:41] >> um they put they said that they
[85:47] would have should have come forward and
[85:50] said they don't trust this man.
[85:52] um
[85:54] should have done a little more than
[85:55] that, you know, but they can't do it.
[85:57] They cannot do it, folks. They cannot
[86:00] say these words. It's impossible. I'm
[86:03] going to tell you which words Bethl will
[86:05] never ever ever say. They they are
[86:08] saying they repent, but they will never
[86:10] ever be able to say
[86:14] BS or insert name is a false prophet
[86:18] and you must mark and avoid him.
[86:22] that they can't ever say it. They will
[86:23] never ever ever be able to say it about
[86:27] anybody.
[86:30] Anybody can stand on their their their
[86:32] platform and just claim prophecy as a
[86:34] thing and say they have words of
[86:35] knowledge and get them completely wrong.
[86:38] Chris Valatin here folks, I have major
[86:42] evidence that Chris Valatin has gotten
[86:45] this prophecy wrong. He just prophesied
[86:47] against his own prophetic standard. No
[86:51] dates, no mates, no babies. He
[86:53] prophesied hundreds of people in the
[86:55] audience getting babies. Here he's a
[86:59] Chris Valatin releases a prophetic force
[87:00] field. That's a false prophecy, folks.
[87:05] Chris Valatin prophesies over over
[87:07] Germany. False prophecy.
[87:11] Preaches or teaches that he was involved
[87:13] in the manifest sons of God theology. an
[87:15] aberrant theology that the assemblies of
[87:18] God denied
[87:20] and said was aberant and should be
[87:23] avoided.
[87:25] And then um oh I forgot I'm forgetting
[87:28] the one that um the one that he had
[87:34] he prophesied a spirit of jinx. It's a
[87:38] false prophecy folks or at least it's
[87:40] oult. So these things are a cult
[87:41] prophetic force fields
[87:44] dates mates and babies.
[87:46] Um
[87:49] you will conceive, you will give you you
[87:52] these are all false prophecies.
[87:54] Not to mention the Trump prophecy. I
[87:56] mean there's there's just oodles and
[87:58] oodles of other prophecies that he has
[88:00] gotten completely wrong.
[88:05] And so it's not just the Trump prophecy.
[88:06] He's like, you know, you don't just
[88:09] getting one prophecy wrong doesn't make
[88:10] you a false prophet. That's what he
[88:11] said. How about getting 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
[88:17] 9 10. How about getting 10 prophecies
[88:19] wrong? Does that make you a false
[88:20] prophet?
[88:22] 10 major prophecies?
[88:26] Yes, it makes you a false prophet. So,
[88:28] he is a false prophet trying to
[88:31] corral a false prophet who has actually
[88:33] done something pretty egregious.
[88:38] But they cannot say it. They cannot say
[88:40] the words so and so is a false prophet.
[88:45] You must mark and avoid him. We don't
[88:47] think he is. What did he say?
[88:52] >> I confess my own sin who knows me and it
[88:56] sounds like I made the decision trust
[88:58] this man.
[88:59] >> We don't trust and
[89:00] >> that didn't happen. And that's on
[89:02] >> he is a false prophet and we do not
[89:04] trust this man. And you should not
[89:06] either. You should mark and avoid them.
[89:08] They can never ever say those words.
[89:10] They will never be able to do it. Never
[89:12] be able to do it because
[89:14] they would have to do it themselves. All
[89:16] right.
[89:17] >> Me, I made that decision.
[89:20] Um, I know that it sounds like we were
[89:23] hiding something. Uh, I I want to point
[89:25] out to everyone who knows me and our
[89:27] global audience too, I confess my own
[89:31] sins.
[89:32] Well, when the Lord talked to me about
[89:34] cussing, I'm like I about a week later,
[89:35] I told the whole world.
[89:39] I've never been I I've never been able
[89:41] to live with I do something wrong and I
[89:45] don't confess it. So, it it wasn't in my
[89:48] mind to cover up anything.
[89:51] It was
[89:52] >> then why didn't you do it?
[89:56] What?
[89:59] Wh Why did you wait seven years until
[90:02] this point where you have no other
[90:04] choice?
[90:07] It would go so badly for you and Bethl
[90:11] if you did not respond to Mike Winger's
[90:13] show.
[90:16] Why did Why did you wait to this point?
[90:19] If you confess your sins, he says he
[90:21] confesses I confess my cousin all the
[90:23] time. I confess it the next day to pe to
[90:25] my global audience.
[90:28] No, I I I don't I don't believe you.
[90:30] >> It was a couple of things. One, I
[90:32] struggled with what is our
[90:34] responsibility,
[90:36] which I see completely different. And by
[90:38] the way, it's so sad that somebody has
[90:41] to put out a video.
[90:45] >> Oh, his attitude has changed here to
[90:48] Mike Winger. Last week he was accusing
[90:51] him of being a money grubber.
[90:54] He accused all people who do what we do
[90:56] of money grubbing. Funny enough, I make
[90:58] tens of dollars on this folks.
[91:02] A good month for me is 150 bucks to 200
[91:05] bucks.
[91:07] I make two hundreds of dollars.
[91:10] How much is that watch on your wrist
[91:12] there worth, Chris? I'm just curious.
[91:18] I have it on good authority. He has a
[91:20] pretty pretty
[91:22] um pretty extensive Rolex collection.
[91:24] Here we go.
[91:25] >> That creates a firestorm.
[91:28] >> So, here we go. So, he's going to
[91:31] >> He was probably pushed into this. He was
[91:33] forced into this. He's got to come back
[91:35] to Mike and say, um, I was wrong. that
[91:39] somebody has to put out a video
[91:44] that creates a firestorm
[91:47] to get someone who's 70 years old
[91:50] to do something.
[91:53] That is pretty sad. That is pretty sad.
[91:56] If you're a true Christian, been a
[91:58] Christian your entire life and you knew
[92:00] about this and you actually admitted it.
[92:02] You've gone back and forth in text. You
[92:03] knew it. We did it. We had it. We knew
[92:05] it. And then here comes Mike Winger,
[92:08] half your age probably
[92:12] to get you to do something. That's
[92:14] pretty sad. That's an indictment against
[92:16] my leadership.
[92:17] >> Mhm. Therefore, you should resign.
[92:22] Therefore, you should resign. Take my
[92:23] advice here. I've I've got a I've got a
[92:26] public statement you can do really
[92:27] quickly. I you just copy and paste it.
[92:31] That's why we as a staff have decided to
[92:34] fire every single person that is
[92:35] currently on staff for the theological
[92:37] aberrations and often heretical
[92:39] statements made by people from the stage
[92:40] and our gross mishandling of victims and
[92:43] their abuses.
[92:47] Yeah, that could be a real good
[92:50] solution.
[92:52] I should have known better. And if I
[92:54] didn't know better, I should have went
[92:55] and got counsel
[92:57] >> and I didn't do that and I'm very sorry.
[93:04] I take full responsibility for that.
[93:06] >> Good for him. He's very sorry. At least
[93:09] that. At least he's very, very sorry.
[93:19] >> I'm very sorry.
[93:22] And
[93:24] being sorry doesn't fix anything because
[93:28] the side effects of that are that people
[93:31] took prophetic words from Shawn.
[93:35] >> Mhm.
[93:36] >> And as news came out, and of course it
[93:39] it it it will. We live in a social media
[93:41] world. I didn't know what to do. What do
[93:44] I do with this prophetic word by
[93:45] somebody who's
[93:47] been getting mining Facebook to get his
[93:50] words of knowledge? What do I do with
[93:52] these? And instead of
[93:55] stepping in
[93:57] and and
[93:57] >> and saying they're false prophecies and
[94:00] saying you should mark and avoid this
[94:01] guy because he's a false prophet.
[94:06] You didn't do that. you you waited
[94:10] >> helping process
[94:14] >> like what?
[94:15] >> And guys, you know, I I get flagged for
[94:17] stopping them. I got to stop him every
[94:18] few times. I try to not get a uh illegal
[94:22] illegal. It's illegal for them to give
[94:23] me a copyright strike. I'm making
[94:24] commentary, critique, and and news. I'm
[94:28] reporting. This is me reporting and
[94:30] giving critique and commentary. And it's
[94:32] illegal for them to give me a copyright
[94:33] strike. So, I have to stop it every 10
[94:35] seconds. And I actually have stuff to
[94:36] say. I'm stopping it as well because I
[94:38] have stuff to say. I want to say stuff.
[94:40] So me stopping it is me inserting my
[94:42] commentary, my critique. I'm critiquing
[94:44] them theologically,
[94:46] right, for what they're doing and what
[94:48] or what they didn't do. And so that's me
[94:51] doing this for fair use laws so that
[94:54] they don't give me an illegal copyright
[94:56] strike because every time I cover BETHL,
[94:59] they give me an illegal copyright strike
[95:01] on my account or copyright claim, excuse
[95:04] me. And um it's illegal for them to do
[95:06] that. And every time I contest it, they
[95:09] just drop it because they realize it's
[95:11] illegal. All right, here we go.
[95:12] >> What do you do with these words?
[95:15] >> And then the the sexual allegations.
[95:18] What do we do? One of the victims,
[95:22] [snorts]
[95:24] I'm sorry. One of the victims of the
[95:26] sexual allegations reached out to me.
[95:29] And
[95:29] >> what do y'all think of him crying like
[95:30] the entire time? I I'm not going to make
[95:33] a comment on that. I don't know if it's
[95:35] crocodile tears. It's hard for me to
[95:37] tell. Um, of course, it could be this
[95:40] could be emotionally really draining and
[95:42] everything like that. Um,
[95:45] yeah, he's he's people are coming after
[95:47] him. Um, what do y'all think of it? I'm
[95:49] just uh kind of curious. Don't know what
[95:52] to think of it myself. Um I tend to be
[95:54] an emotional guy myself
[95:57] but uh maybe I mean maybe he's really
[95:58] trulization that he has
[96:03] platformed a guy who has really
[96:05] seriously harmed
[96:07] people's lives
[96:10] sexual sexual harm uh physical harm
[96:14] Jubilee Dawn life harm Elijah
[96:19] um and and other those are just the ones
[96:21] who came forward.
[96:23] But if he's been doing this prophetic
[96:24] griff for years, then he people people
[96:27] worldwide trusted him in his words and
[96:30] acted and did things accordingly. So
[96:33] there's more there's more people than
[96:34] just these folks. But those are serious
[96:37] harm. And so maybe he's really just
[96:38] coming to the realization. What do y'all
[96:40] think? Do you think these tears are
[96:43] definitely fake? Okay. All right. Here
[96:45] we go.
[96:45] >> Wanted me to help. I did. I reached out
[96:49] to Sean on several occasions and after a
[96:52] while just got stonewalled and it didn't
[96:54] go anywhere. Danny was meeting with him
[96:56] too.
[96:56] >> Okay.
[96:57] >> And uh and he was persistent like he
[97:01] should have been. He's asking a
[97:02] spiritual father's life, can you help
[97:05] me? I'm in a crisis.
[97:07] >> He's asking a spiritual father. That's
[97:09] the problem. You should not have
[97:10] spiritual fathers or spiritual mothers.
[97:13] God is your father. Jesus Christ has
[97:15] said it plainly and clearly. Call no man
[97:18] father. Don't have these hierarchies.
[97:22] You can be a disciple, a spiritual son
[97:24] or daughter like like Paul was talking
[97:25] about. But Paul is talking about this. I
[97:28] led you to Christ
[97:31] and I discipled you. I feel like a
[97:34] father to you, but I'm no father. Call
[97:37] no man father. Jesus said Paul's words
[97:40] about being a father um to to Timothy or
[97:43] Timothy being his son in the faith do
[97:45] not contradict Christ's words.
[97:48] Christ is opposing this thing
[97:51] specifically. Don't call any man a
[97:53] father. No fathering, mothering, the the
[97:56] the heavy that's heavy shephering
[97:57] movement. That's like the the shephering
[97:59] movement back in the 70s, folks. It's
[98:01] just a rehashing of the old thing.
[98:04] >> Yeah. Anyways, and unfortunately his
[98:06] persistence
[98:09] and my
[98:11] not knowing what else to do
[98:16] caused my to me to make a decision out
[98:19] of frustration instead of compassion and
[98:21] I just blocked him. Not it wasn't the
[98:23] first day or anything like that. It went
[98:24] on for a long long time. And I think
[98:27] just my my capacity for stress was at an
[98:30] all-time low as I was trying to
[98:33] >> help my family member and Benny and
[98:36] COVID and all the issues that were
[98:38] happening all at once,
[98:41] >> right? So you're a cancer-free zone. You
[98:45] can just speak things into existence.
[98:46] Why don't you just speak COVID out of
[98:49] existence?
[98:51] I believe it was Bill Johnson prophesied
[98:53] and others prophesied. Um I think it
[98:57] might have been Sean B. Sean BS is
[98:59] right. He said March. This thing will
[99:00] end in March. You got that wrong.
[99:04] Why didn't you just speak it out of
[99:06] existence? How come BSSM had to cancel
[99:09] classes because of COVID? Because they
[99:12] were spread they were like spreaders in
[99:13] in reading.
[99:16] If healing is part of the atoning work
[99:18] of Christ, why could you just not heal
[99:21] everyone? Why don't you just lay hands
[99:22] on all the people who had COVID and just
[99:25] rid them of it? Because you have no
[99:27] power and the atoning work of Jesus
[99:30] Christ does not pay for your COVID
[99:35] or for you not dying of cancer. So all
[99:38] these things were happen on on on him
[99:40] and their theology, their theology of
[99:42] healing of theology of divine healing
[99:46] is false.
[99:49] And so that stress was probably on him
[99:51] and he should free himself of that
[99:53] stress because the stress that you put
[99:56] on top of yourself to try to heal
[99:58] people, to try to heal Benny, to try to
[100:00] heal people of COVID, to try to manage
[100:02] all this stuff is a stressor for sure.
[100:08] So Chris, if you're listening, if you
[100:11] watch, free yourself from that theology.
[100:14] It's not biblical.
[100:16] No one in in all of Christian history up
[100:19] to late modernity has taught that
[100:22] healing is a part of the atoning work of
[100:24] Christ. So free yourself from it.
[100:28] There we go. And it was uh sad to look
[100:32] back and realize that someone reached
[100:33] out to me for help.
[100:36] And not only did they not get help, they
[100:38] got stonewalled.
[100:41] It's not the way.
[100:42] >> So, who reached out for help? Was it Was
[100:45] it Shawn BS reaching out for help?
[100:48] Let's go back. Did y'all hear? I'm
[100:51] trying to get that context.
[100:55] And it was uh sad to look back and
[100:58] realize that someone reached out to me
[100:59] for help.
[101:01] And not only did they not get help, they
[101:03] got stonewalled.
[101:06] >> Who got
[101:06] >> It's not the way I think he's talking
[101:08] about Sean.
[101:10] >> A leader should behave. And I I want to
[101:13] say publicly, I'm so sorry for all the
[101:15] people like everyone in this room.
[101:17] >> Oh, he blocked a victim if I'm not
[101:19] mistaken. Is that right? Trying to
[101:22] remember.
[101:23] You're carrying the stigma of my
[101:25] inability to do the right thing, which
[101:28] was to post, hey, we put this guy on
[101:31] stage and we trusted him. Hey, we no
[101:33] longer trust him. Everyone should know
[101:35] that.
[101:36] And and I didn't do that. So, I
[101:40] especially apologize to the victims.
[101:42] This this the victims of the
[101:46] inappropriate sexual culture and and
[101:50] obvious the victims of all the people of
[101:53] Sean's prophetic.
[101:54] >> Okay. So, am am I understanding that
[101:56] right? The victim who Mike was talk
[101:58] talking about reached out to Chris and
[102:01] Chris stonewalled him. From what I
[102:03] understand, this guy over here um he
[102:06] actually says it in his in his uh this
[102:07] is uh Jeremy Bros. I do not know who
[102:10] this guy is. Never seen him before. I
[102:12] just saw this this came on my feed
[102:14] because I've been doing this and
[102:15] covering this. And he said he was a
[102:17] assistant to Bill Johnson. So, he was in
[102:20] in in I guess is this the guy that that
[102:23] Chris is saying he stonewalled and and
[102:25] blocked? I think he said he blocked him.
[102:27] Am I right about that?
[102:29] Oh my goodness.
[102:32] Help me if I'm I want to make sure this
[102:34] is all correct. So, um yeah, this that
[102:38] guy did say that he was Bill Johnson's
[102:41] assistant. So, I don't know if it was
[102:43] him. Um
[102:47] yeah. All right. Here we go. help me out
[102:49] of the details
[102:50] >> street
[102:51] who struggled with what do I do with
[102:53] this word? Some of the words were
[102:54] amazing. Do I believe this word? Do I
[102:56] put faith in it anymore? How do I
[102:58] process?
[102:58] >> Yes, he blocked the victim. Okay, thank
[102:59] y'all for confirm. Thank y'all confir
[103:01] for confirming that as people said yes,
[103:03] he blocked the victim. Um,
[103:10] yeah, he should step down. There's no
[103:11] question.
[103:11] >> Had never processed that on that level
[103:13] before. So it was new territory for us.
[103:18] It's
[103:18] >> excuses. New territory, bro.
[103:23] That's that's partly why you should go
[103:25] to seminary and Bible college because
[103:27] you learn these things that you are a
[103:29] mandated reporter. If someone is
[103:31] sexually abusing someone, you learn how
[103:34] to do stuff like this. You learn how to
[103:36] I mean, unbelievable. Learn how to
[103:38] handle stuff like this and go right to
[103:39] the authorities. Now, um was a criminal
[103:42] offense.
[103:44] Um those are the things you have to deal
[103:46] with and you have to talk amongst your
[103:48] staff immediately
[103:50] and say we have to handle this
[103:52] immediately
[103:53] because he was someone who had been in
[103:55] your church and in your stage and been
[103:58] platformed
[104:01] multiple times, not just here or there.
[104:08] >> Not an excuse.
[104:09] I Sunday night I was not in this this is
[104:14] our this is our responsibility mode. I
[104:16] was still in
[104:18] >> and on Sunday night we did more than 100
[104:20] platforms he was on. Hey
[104:23] >> we took our own time to investigate this
[104:25] >> talking about last Sunday. So he's
[104:27] giving excuses for why he preached the
[104:29] most wicked evil daro gaslighting
[104:34] um switching good for evil and evil for
[104:36] good sermon that I've ever heard. I've
[104:38] never heard someone speaks say I mean
[104:40] this people were rightly outraged for
[104:43] his sermon. It was incredible. All
[104:46] right, here we go.
[104:47] >> We confronted and confronted to
[104:50] >> uh thank you for covering this, Richard.
[104:52] You bring the clarity and the word.
[104:53] Appreciate it. Observation station, God
[104:55] bless you. All right, here we go. Let's
[104:57] keep going.
[104:58] >> No solution.
[104:59] >> Try to get through this, guys.
[105:00] >> And and I'm going to cover the whole
[105:01] thing.
[105:01] >> And and I I I was in this mode of like I
[105:05] don't know why everybody's mad at us.
[105:06] like who else did anything not realizing
[105:10] like
[105:10] >> he never even said that. He never said
[105:11] that. I don't know why anybody else was
[105:13] mad at it. He didn't he didn't even
[105:14] actually say the details of the
[105:16] situation. So last Sunday it was implied
[105:19] and he spoke against YouTubers and it
[105:21] was pretty obvious what he was talking
[105:23] about. But he never said that right
[105:26] there last Sunday that I'm aware of. He
[105:30] never said, um, we're the ones who only
[105:32] ones who did anything.
[105:34] >> Like, we're the ones who put him on a
[105:35] global platform.
[105:38] We're the ones who caused it to go from
[105:41] this to this.
[105:43] >> Yep.
[105:43] >> It was on us.
[105:44] >> I mean, I mean, what other platforms
[105:46] made him who he was?
[105:49] Bethl is the global N platform. They're
[105:53] the global prophetic platform. I mean, I
[105:56] don't know who else could have made him
[105:58] as big as he as he got them. It's them.
[106:02] >> And honestly,
[106:04] to you know, I say sometimes adversity
[106:07] introduces a man to himself. And I saw
[106:10] in me a man I did not like
[106:13] Monday morning.
[106:15] And I want to thank people who push back
[106:19] and who are dedicated to the body of
[106:21] Christ being a healthy body. We We need
[106:25] It's not fun, but we need that kind of
[106:29] push back.
[106:31] >> Oh, did he thank me? I think he I think
[106:35] Chris might have thanked me. I covered
[106:37] his entire sermon. I covered every word
[106:39] of it.
[106:41] So maybe maybe he was thanking me. I
[106:46] doubt he watched it. Yeah, he's blocked
[106:49] me. So
[106:51] >> last Sunday night I [snorts] was trying
[106:54] to uh process externally
[106:57] which I'm sort of famous for doing like
[107:00] I don't totally have it figured out but
[107:01] I think I'll just tell everybody about
[107:03] it and maybe it'll maybe it'll be
[107:05] >> all right. So someone just I was
[107:07] actually going to um going to use that
[107:09] scripture um
[107:13] worldly sorrow.
[107:19] It says in get that out 2 Corinians
[107:23] 7:10. So let's switch just take a moment
[107:26] and you know I like to try to really
[107:27] intersperse scripture. See if I can find
[107:30] that real quick and
[107:35] uh ask y'all the question. Is this godly
[107:37] sorrow or worldly sorrow? It's hard to
[107:39] tell right now
[107:42] because um yeah just seen the beginning
[107:45] of it. 2 Corinthians
[107:50] chapter 7 vers
[107:54] uh 10. For godly grief or godly sorrow
[107:59] produces repentance that leads to
[108:01] salvation without regret whereas worldly
[108:05] sorrow or worldly grief produces death.
[108:10] And then he says,"Forese see what
[108:11] earnestness uh this godly grief has
[108:13] produced in you, that you also are
[108:15] eagerness to clear yourselves, what
[108:17] indignation, what fear, what longing,
[108:19] what zeal, what punishment, at every
[108:21] point you have proved yourselves
[108:22] innocent in the matter." So although I
[108:24] wrote to you, it is not for the sake of
[108:26] the one who did the wrong. It's talking
[108:28] about the guy who they had to put out
[108:30] because of sexual morality. Um nor for
[108:33] the sake of the one who suffered the
[108:35] wrong, but in order that your
[108:36] earnestness for us might be revealed to
[108:38] you in the sight of God.
[108:41] So is this godly sorrow
[108:45] um producing repentance that leads to
[108:47] salvation or is it worldly sorrow?
[108:51] Sorrow that you got caught. you got
[108:53] caught and um I mean really he from last
[108:58] week to this week I mean he's talking
[109:00] about a encounter he had with the Lord
[109:02] that where he you know his mind changed
[109:05] okay I mean you know
[109:09] can't say don't know but uh he hasn't
[109:12] repented from that from that from that
[109:14] speech he gave last week I mean if I if
[109:16] if I if God had actually
[109:20] if I had I can't I can't imagine having
[109:22] preached a word of that nonsense last
[109:24] week. That last week was the the most it
[109:28] was probably one of the most terrible
[109:29] things I've ever heard coming out of
[109:30] Bethl, honestly. And I've heard a lot of
[109:32] I've heard all the terrible. I've heard
[109:33] it all.
[109:37] And so I don't know. Did he have a
[109:40] worldly sorrow here or is this godly
[109:42] sorrow? Anyways, just a thought to put
[109:45] out there. Can't say I can't see into
[109:48] his heart. be a good message.
[109:52] I I had a sincere heart. I was really
[109:54] trying to share with our body with all
[109:57] of these Facebook p all these you know
[109:59] social media swirl and my friends are
[110:00] like say something and I'm like oh you
[110:05] know what am I going to say? What I'm
[110:06] going to say is wow it's really hard to
[110:09] pastor a global body in 21st century
[110:13] with social media. That was really a
[110:16] pretty dumb response actually.
[110:18] Okay.
[110:18] >> Especially since I hadn't worked out how
[110:20] to do it. Like, let's just tell
[110:22] everybody I don't know what I'm doing.
[110:25] >> So, he actually admits that was a bad
[110:27] that was a dumb idea. It was more than a
[110:29] dumb idea, though. It was really an evil
[110:32] evil turn of turn of phrase. I I've
[110:37] never seen anything worse than that.
[110:38] That was that was that was as bad as it
[110:39] gets. And I actually quoted Revelation 2
[110:43] where it says, "I know your deeds that
[110:45] you love your love and faith and service
[110:47] and perseverance that your deeds of late
[110:49] are greater than at first." Well, that's
[110:51] good. But I have this against you that
[110:53] you tolerated the woman Jezebel who
[110:56] calls herself a prophetus and she
[110:58] teaches and leads my bond servants
[111:00] astray so that they commit acts of
[111:01] immorality and eat sac sacrifice idols.
[111:05] I gave her time to repent and she does
[111:07] not want to repent of her immorality.
[111:10] Funny, I don't know how you read that
[111:12] verse and emphasize I gave her time to
[111:14] repent instead of you tolerated
[111:19] the prophetus who was perverted.
[111:22] But somehow I didn't get that.
[111:24] >> Somehow I read right over that and not
[111:26] saw I didn't see that the Lord was
[111:28] actually speaking to us like, "Hey,
[111:30] you're doing these greater works. That's
[111:32] awesome. You're tolerating this
[111:34] prophetic person who's actually
[111:36] perverted his ministry. And I gave him
[111:39] time. And I'm emphasizing in my message.
[111:41] I gave him time when I should have been
[111:43] emphasizing I called him to judgment.
[111:46] So he's at least admitting that. Good
[111:48] for him. Now, um, Revelation 2, let's
[111:53] see if I can get it here real quick. Um,
[111:56] but I have this against you. Let you
[111:58] tolerate that woman Jezebel.
[112:00] Oh, ESV. uh that you tolerate that woman
[112:02] Jezebel who calls herself a prophetist
[112:05] and is teaching and seducing my servants
[112:07] to practice sexual morality and to eat
[112:09] food sacrificed to idols. He also didn't
[112:12] keep reading because what it continues
[112:14] to say, let me get to it. Full chapter
[112:16] here we go 220.
[112:19] Um it can go Christ goes on to tell John
[112:24] the revelator what has happened, what he
[112:26] is going to do. Um she refused to repent
[112:29] of her sexual immorality. Behold, I will
[112:32] throw her into a sick bed, and those who
[112:35] commit adultery with her, I will throw
[112:37] into great tribulation, unless they
[112:39] repent of her works. And I will strike
[112:42] her children dead, and all the other
[112:44] churches will know that I am the one who
[112:46] searches the mind and the heart, and I
[112:48] will give each one according to your
[112:51] works."
[112:54] This passage of scripture directly
[112:57] opposes their health, wealth, and
[113:00] prosperity gospel.
[113:04] Jesus Christ
[113:07] through Jezebel, this woman Jezebel,
[113:09] whether that was her real name or or
[113:11] that was a metaphorical name to describe
[113:13] her,
[113:16] threw her into a sick bed.
[113:19] and all those who had committed adultery
[113:21] with her. He will throw into great
[113:24] tribulation and they will repent of
[113:26] unless they repent of their works. And I
[113:28] will strike her children dead.
[113:35] Wow.
[113:37] So he also neatly uh ignored that
[113:40] passage that that the rest that's like
[113:42] the the following verses because they
[113:45] don't know how to preach the Bible.
[113:47] So this passage of scripture directly
[113:50] opposes Bethl's health, wealth, and
[113:52] prosperity gospel. The gospel that says
[113:55] that
[113:56] healing or health is part of the atoning
[114:00] work of Jesus Christ. If the atoning
[114:02] work of Jesus Christ were health, then
[114:05] why did God through the word of Jesus
[114:09] Christ throw Jezebel into a sick bed? I
[114:13] ask you
[114:16] h
[114:18] and exactly they were tolerating at
[114:20] least he realizes they were tolerating
[114:22] Jezebel. This is the exact one for one
[114:24] except that Jezebel was not a not a man.
[114:27] It was a prophetist. Here we go. Keep
[114:29] going.
[114:30] >> That was
[114:32] dumb.
[114:34] >> That was dumb.
[114:35] >> And then your com comments on Judas were
[114:37] also dumb at best. There's no biblical
[114:41] evidence that Judas was actually doing
[114:44] or ministering
[114:47] uh as a tw as one of the 12 disciples.
[114:50] No evidence. He said Judas, you know,
[114:53] God chose Judas
[114:55] um and he, you know, betrayed him and
[114:58] Christ chose Judas. It's like just
[115:01] bro is making interpretational leaps
[115:05] that no one in all of history had ever
[115:08] made. Yes. Someone asked, "Where's
[115:09] Bill?" He's coming up shortly. Here we
[115:11] go. After his after remarks.
[115:14] >> I didn't see it till Monday morning.
[115:16] >> He didn't see it till Monday.
[115:16] >> I saw it.
[115:17] >> Did he see the part about Judas as well?
[115:19] I mean, he should disavow. He should
[115:21] repent from the entire sermon.
[115:23] Everything I said. If he It's It's not
[115:27] enough. He's saying, "Yeah, this is this
[115:29] was not great and that was bad." He
[115:31] should say, "I repent for my entire
[115:33] sermon. My entire speech last week was
[115:37] not a sermon." and it was a bad speech
[115:40] and I repent for all of it. I recant and
[115:44] renounce everything I said.
[115:47] So this right here is not enough for
[115:50] sure about his speech um from Sunday
[115:53] last
[115:53] >> when I realized this is our this isn't
[115:56] just this isn't our fault but it is
[115:59] definitely our responsibility.
[116:03] >> No it's your fault too. These are the
[116:05] things you know repentance means that
[116:08] you take ownership of your failure.
[116:11] >> So number one I need to take ownership
[116:13] of my failure. We failed you as a body.
[116:17] We failed the students. Failed everyone
[116:20] who trusts us and I sincerely am sorry.
[116:25] But repentance requires bringing forth
[116:27] fruit because sorry doesn't really get
[116:31] it if you just keep doing the same
[116:32] stupid thing over and over.
[116:36] >> So
[116:37] we needs to be a shift in our cultural
[116:39] values
[116:41] [snorts] and that we focus on safety and
[116:43] security of our global community. We
[116:45] have to focus like it's it
[116:47] >> welcome new uh member. I'm trying to
[116:50] read your name Jinorn
[116:53] on
[116:55] Dminicorn 40. Uh, it's my glasses. If I
[116:58] don't if I got your your your username
[117:00] wrong, I'm sorry. Welcome. And, uh,
[117:03] thank you for becoming a member.
[117:05] >> I used to say it's not our
[117:07] responsibility to keep everybody safe.
[117:08] Well, we can't keep everybody safe, but
[117:09] it is our responsibility to do our best
[117:12] as it it depends on us to keep our
[117:15] people safe and to keep the people who
[117:17] trust us safe. That was a very bad core
[117:20] value on my part. Number three, we must
[117:23] realize that leaders who have graced our
[117:26] podium and being promoted by us are
[117:28] thereby we have to care as much about
[117:32] their character as we do about their
[117:34] gift. When we put somebody on stage, we
[117:37] have to care.
[117:42] No, you don't care about their
[117:45] gift. So if you put someone on stage at
[117:49] a church,
[117:51] their task, their singular task as a
[117:54] preacher or a teacher of the word of
[117:55] God, when you speak at a church, you are
[117:59] teaching and executing and expositing
[118:02] the word of God. That's your only task.
[118:06] It' be helpful to be gifted at that.
[118:08] Sure. The spiritual gift of teaching,
[118:10] funny enough, they sort of ignore the
[118:12] spiritual gift of teaching.
[118:14] They should only put people on their
[118:16] podium who teach and preach the word of
[118:19] God faithfully. But they don't have
[118:21] that. They don't have that. I've never
[118:23] ever watched a single sermon from
[118:28] someone from Bethl. Typically, I I just
[118:30] review people their their main leaders.
[118:32] I don't review typically e extraneous
[118:35] people who come who are not part of
[118:37] their leadership team. I've never ever
[118:40] heard a faithful, biblical, bible-taught
[118:44] sermon that had not twisted scripture,
[118:46] perverted scripture, misqued scripture,
[118:50] or otherwise taught something that that
[118:52] that is not theologically accurate.
[118:58] Never. Not se not one single time.
[119:01] Not. And and last Sunday was just a
[119:03] perfect example of that. That was
[119:05] exhibit A of how they twist scripture.
[119:08] All right, let's keep going.
[119:09] >> If we're going to take responsibility
[119:11] when somebody that gets on our stage
[119:12] falls, we got to care that they have a
[119:14] track record. Now, obviously, you can do
[119:17] all the investigation you want and still
[119:19] make a mistake. That's a mistake. But
[119:21] when you don't even try, that's not a
[119:23] mistake.
[119:24] >> Oh, well, at least he admitted he wasn't
[119:26] didn't make a mistake.
[119:29] He tried to cover it up. That that
[119:31] that's
[119:31] >> number four. We have to take steps to
[119:33] bring greater accountability to our own
[119:35] leadership teams and ensure that we
[119:38] together
[119:39] live out these values. We have to call
[119:41] each other to account when we break
[119:43] these core values that we're creating.
[119:46] When we say, "Hey, it is our job to keep
[119:50] people safe. At least as it depends on
[119:52] us, this is our job. This is not their
[119:55] job because he's in some other ministry
[119:56] or he's not on our board. We're not on
[119:58] his board." And and we just slough it
[120:00] off. And then what happens comes into
[120:03] our
[120:03] >> So I know several
[120:06] several victims who this is going to
[120:08] very fall very flat on um they have been
[120:12] abused at at Bethl and don't feel like
[120:16] they have any recourse to go to anybody
[120:18] trying to work with them and and pray
[120:20] with them and and see if there's any way
[120:22] they can go to anybody. Mike Winger has
[120:25] offered any victims come to him. He's
[120:27] got representation for you and he's got
[120:29] counseling for you. Please, please,
[120:30] please, if you are a victim, I I think I
[120:33] I would trust Mike and his uh team to
[120:35] get you the help you need, the legal
[120:37] representation you need. But, uh, this
[120:40] is going to fall flat right here on a
[120:42] lot of abuse victims who have lived
[120:45] through abuse at Bethl. I'm talking
[120:47] about sexual abuse. So, here we go.
[120:49] Let's see. Let's see what he says. We
[120:51] They want to feel safe. We want them to
[120:52] feel safe.
[120:53] >> Job. This is not their job because he's
[120:55] in some other ministry or he's not on
[120:57] our board. We're not on his board. and
[120:59] and we just slough it off. And then what
[121:01] happens? Comes into our into our
[121:04] network. It comes into our people and in
[121:06] the body of Christ and wres havoc. And
[121:09] we're like, well, that's that's not my
[121:11] problem. I'm sorry. From now on, it is
[121:14] our problem. And from now on, we better
[121:17] think of how we're going to solve that
[121:18] problem. And I don't know that's going
[121:20] to be an easy solution, but the Lord
[121:22] will give us wisdom and grace, and we
[121:24] will figure it out. And we will be a
[121:26] better movement in the future. going to
[121:28] be a better movement. So, they're going
[121:29] to continue to push the movement thing.
[121:31] They're going to be a better movement.
[121:33] So, they're not quitting. They didn't
[121:35] take my advice. I gave them a really
[121:37] good PR statement. I thought it was
[121:40] pretty good. I really worked hard on
[121:42] that. Um, no, I'm kidding. I wrote that
[121:45] in like 10 minutes, like five, like two
[121:47] minutes. Sorry. [laughter]
[121:48] Like, we repent. We close the doors.
[121:50] That That's what That's what they need
[121:51] to do. They need to close the doors.
[121:53] They need to repent. And uh you know,
[121:55] I'd ask him um since he's written a
[121:58] couple of these books. Well, you know,
[122:00] I'll wait. I'll wait to ask them if
[122:01] they're they repent from their
[122:02] materials, too. Here we go. [snorts]
[122:06] We want to remain a place of restoration
[122:08] for leaders,
[122:10] but not at the expense of protecting the
[122:13] flock. Listen, people come here from all
[122:15] over the world. Some of them, you know,
[122:17] some of them you don't. It happens a lot
[122:19] here. a leader who has fallen comes into
[122:22] our midst and we help restore them and
[122:25] we've restored so many people and I'm
[122:27] going to tell you that I
[122:28] >> and they're going to do it again.
[122:29] >> A product
[122:32] >> they'll do it again.
[122:34] Do you think for one second they would
[122:37] not restore any one of these sexual
[122:40] predators if they if they repented?
[122:45] Ben Armstrong should not be on their
[122:46] stage.
[122:49] Shawn BS should never ever stand on a
[122:50] stage ever again. He He's done.
[122:54] Mike Bickl is done.
[122:58] Michael Brown, he should never He's
[123:00] disqualified.
[123:04] He's not above reproach. These people
[123:06] are not above reproach. Todd Bentley is
[123:09] done. Chris Reed is done. But they have
[123:11] just started another church somewhere
[123:13] else.
[123:15] And this prophetic movement, this
[123:17] prophetic stream has just reenabled them
[123:20] to be they if you have essayed or done
[123:24] anything, if you've done anything that
[123:26] would could be considered sexual
[123:28] immorality, you are no longer qualified
[123:33] to be a minister of the gospel of Jesus
[123:36] Christ. You are done.
[123:43] All right, here we go. They would they
[123:44] would restore him. They would restore
[123:46] him. So if Shawn BS repents tomorrow,
[123:48] they'd resto put him right back on
[123:49] stage.
[123:53] That's what he said. That's what he
[123:54] said. Let's go. Go back.
[123:56] >> Of them, you know, some of them you
[123:58] protecting the flock. Restoration for
[123:59] leaders,
[124:01] but not at the expense of protecting the
[124:03] flock. Listen, people come here from all
[124:06] over the world. Some of them you know,
[124:07] some of them you don't. It happens a lot
[124:10] here. a leader who has fallen comes into
[124:13] our midst and we help restore them and
[124:16] we've restored so many people and I'm
[124:18] going to tell you that I
[124:19] >> they've restored so many people and they
[124:22] do it again.
[124:26] >> Sorry folks, this is not good.
[124:30] >> A product.
[124:31] >> He's a product of restoration.
[124:33] >> Of that restoration. I met this man when
[124:37] I was 26 years old and I was in the
[124:40] middle of a three and a half year
[124:41] nervous breakdown and he wrapped his
[124:43] arms around a broken kid with two little
[124:46] kids and a wife who moved to the
[124:48] mountains because I was mentally ill and
[124:51] he believed in me and I never want to
[124:54] lose that.
[124:57] But in the midst of that core value, we
[124:59] have to protect the flock.
[125:01] We can't let predators and people who
[125:04] are unrepentants
[125:09] have our podiums and be among our people
[125:12] when they are still destructive.
[125:16] And I'm so sorry for that. And we will
[125:19] do better. Will we get it right every
[125:21] time? No. But at least we should try.
[125:23] >> Let him talk it out here.
[125:24] >> At least we should build a culture where
[125:26] we could say, "Oh, we got through the
[125:28] cracks." Not like we have an open door.
[125:31] There's a big difference between an open
[125:32] door and he fell through the cracks.
[125:36] [snorts]
[125:40] Sunday night's message I thought was
[125:42] good is inappropriately placed in the
[125:46] wrong. He thought it was good.
[125:49] He thought his Sunday night message from
[125:51] last week was good. Just inappropriately
[125:54] placed. Are you serious?
[125:57] Am I hearing that right?
[126:00] Let me hear that again.
[126:03] >> Sunday night's message I thought was
[126:05] good is inappropriately placed in the
[126:09] wrong context and sent the message that
[126:12] he cared more about the leader than I
[126:14] did the victim. I I I just you know I
[126:18] say this for people who don't know me.
[126:21] >> Wow.
[126:24] [laughter]
[126:26] The message was good.
[126:28] just inappropriately placed.
[126:31] That's not an apology, folks.
[126:35] He believes in what he said. He believes
[126:37] what he said. It was just the wrong
[126:38] place, wrong time. Just kind of um
[126:42] it was uh unseammly, you know, unsemly
[126:44] at that moment.
[126:47] Wow. No, Chris,
[126:51] you know what you need to do with that
[126:52] message?
[126:54] and you go out to your fire pit out in
[126:56] your lovely house in the back of
[126:58] Reading,
[127:00] put that thing on the log fire and burn
[127:02] it
[127:05] cuz it is the worst message that a
[127:08] pastor could ever ever pre the wor it's
[127:12] the worst thing I've ever heard in this
[127:14] whole coverup culture and this whole um
[127:17] shenanigans that that's going on right
[127:18] now with Mike Pickle and all the you
[127:20] know maybe you know I'm sorry maybe uh
[127:22] Mike Pickle's sister was worse. It might
[127:24] have been worse. Might have been worse.
[127:29] You use scripture. That's unbelievable.
[127:34] No, it wasn't just misplaced or or you
[127:38] know, poor timing or something like
[127:40] that. Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope.
[127:43] Cuz this is probably going all over the
[127:44] place cuz my [snorts] failure has gone
[127:47] all over the place.
[127:49] I grew up in a very violent home.
[127:53] more excuses making you He did this He
[127:56] did this on Sunday last week
[127:59] to to elicit sympathy for him.
[128:04] He's telling you about his awful,
[128:05] terrible past. And by the way,
[128:07] brokenness is not a biblical idea.
[128:11] He talked about brokenness last week.
[128:13] Broken this, broken that, bro. I'm I'm
[128:14] broken. You're broken. He's broken. Um
[128:17] uh my my my uh bald my bald compadre
[128:21] down in South Africa did a great job. He
[128:23] actually talked about brokenness in his
[128:24] live stream or he didn't do a live
[128:25] stream but he did a show. Go check it
[128:27] out. Uh Rick, if you're in the in the
[128:30] chat, make yourself known, bro. And uh
[128:33] so Rick did a great job over there. Rick
[128:35] Becker at uh Famine in the Land. Go
[128:38] check it out. I'll give him a shout out,
[128:39] man. We got to just pump each other up.
[128:41] He did a great job of talking about
[128:42] brokenness. Brokenness is not a biblical
[128:44] idea. Not even close. There's no even
[128:47] just the term the word broken,
[128:49] brokenness or being broken. I looked it
[128:52] up. I I I scanned the entire text of
[128:55] scripture. There is not one single time
[128:59] that that word appears in the context of
[129:02] saying a person is broken. So um in in
[129:05] an anthropological sense,
[129:08] the Bible does not talk about brokenness
[129:11] in an anthropological sense, meaning uh
[129:13] relating to man, broken vases, broken
[129:17] something got broken. Um David talks
[129:20] about it twice in the New Testament and
[129:22] he relates it basically to just
[129:24] depression. He's broken. I'm you know
[129:27] and and talks about how he's how he's in
[129:30] in the valley of the shadow of death,
[129:31] the dark place, you know.
[129:33] There is no such thing as broken in
[129:38] especially in relation to our
[129:41] our sin nature.
[129:44] This is what he's talking about. This is
[129:45] what Chris and and the rest of them he
[129:47] talked about last week. There is no such
[129:50] thing as a person being broken
[129:54] in an anthropological sense. It's not a
[129:57] biblical concept. It's made up. to
[129:59] diminish, for instance, sin right here,
[130:02] to diminish sin, to diminish your total
[130:05] depravity, and that you have no capacity
[130:08] to reach up to a holy God. A God in
[130:11] heaven must reach down to you.
[130:13] Brokenness is not an a thing, not a
[130:15] biblical thing anyways. It's made up.
[130:17] It's a construct that we've made up in
[130:19] the modern era, trying to diminish
[130:22] people's sin and guilt for the thing.
[130:25] Basically, when you're broken, the thing
[130:27] was done unto you. So, he was abused.
[130:30] Now, he's going to try to elicit your uh
[130:33] sympathy for him being abused as a
[130:36] child.
[130:37] Sure, it's terrible, terrible, terrible,
[130:39] terrible, terrible.
[130:42] But he does this, and he did this on
[130:43] Sunday last to elicit sympathy and to
[130:47] diminish his own culpability in the
[130:50] thing by saying, "I'm just a broken
[130:51] individual, or Sean BS is broken, or so
[130:53] and so else is broken. and they just do
[130:55] it because they're broken. The kid he
[130:57] talked about a kid at in the jail that
[130:59] he went to was just broken.
[131:05] It removes it pushes off
[131:08] um um your own culpability, your own sin
[131:12] onto someone else or or away from
[131:14] yourself.
[131:17] And therefore, it is not a biblical
[131:19] concept. Human brokenness is not a
[131:23] biblical concept.
[131:26] It just doesn't appear in the New
[131:27] Testament or the Old Testament. I
[131:29] scanned the entire text of scripture
[131:31] looking for this term, looking for this
[131:32] idea, looking for this word. It just
[131:34] does not appear.
[131:36] So when the Bible talks about the human
[131:38] condition, we all like sheep have gone
[131:42] astray. Each of us has turned to his own
[131:44] way. And the Lord has laid on him the
[131:47] iniquity of us all.
[131:50] There is no one who searches after God.
[131:53] No one.
[131:56] We have allto together become unclean.
[132:00] We We are sorry.
[132:04] We all have sinned and fall short of the
[132:06] glory of God.
[132:09] So
[132:10] here he is again eliciting sympathy from
[132:14] you and saying he's broken. and he's
[132:17] just a broken individual who's trying to
[132:19] figure this out.
[132:20] >> Until I was 8 years old, I remember my
[132:23] mom being beaten and I left that house
[132:27] with a huge heart for every victim.
[132:30] I've had two nervous breakdowns, one of
[132:32] them mentally mental illness. So, I have
[132:34] a huge
[132:37] compassion for people
[132:40] who have broken. We spent five years
[132:42] with broken kids in a non-Christian
[132:44] youth group. I I just want to point out
[132:47] like
[132:48] I didn't extend
[132:51] my compassion to people,
[132:55] but I have great compassion for people
[132:57] who are broken. And I'm really sorry.
[133:00] And it troubles me so bad because I
[133:03] can't imagine if one of my kids was on
[133:06] his team or
[133:10] got some great prophetic word and was
[133:13] running their life after it.
[133:16] and found out later that that man was
[133:20] incredible. I can't imagine how
[133:23] that would have broke my heart.
[133:26] And for some reason that idea that
[133:29] that's not our responsibility
[133:32] dict
[133:34] um I did have the feeling originally he
[133:36] should just sit down now. He's done. He
[133:38] needs to sit down.
[133:40] He's just digging a deeper hole. Um, I
[133:43] don't know what y'all think. Hit me up
[133:45] in the comments. Um, he he was done 10
[133:48] minutes ago. Um, he don't need to talk
[133:50] about his childhood. He don't need to
[133:52] talk about his brokenness. He don't need
[133:53] to talk about how he his mom got beat.
[133:59] I mean, am I wrong? He's eliciting
[134:02] sympathy. He should have sat down five
[134:04] minutes ago.
[134:05] >> My actions
[134:07] and I'm deeply sorry.
[134:10] I'd like to say it'll never happen
[134:11] again, but I hold you to I hold my
[134:15] leadership team to like, please don't
[134:17] ever let me do that again.
[134:20] How could they let let you do it again
[134:23] if you hid it from them and
[134:26] and and scrubbed it all? Y'all just
[134:30] scrubbed Sean BS and didn't tell
[134:32] anybody. How can they If they have no
[134:34] idea what happened
[134:36] and you didn't tell them, how do they
[134:38] know?
[134:41] Um,
[134:46] I just want to say to the victims, super
[134:48] sorry.
[134:50] It's It's not just a scripted message.
[134:53] It's like deeply grieved.
[134:56] From Monday on, haven't slept much
[135:01] again. Pitiful, pitiful me. I'm so I'm
[135:03] so, you know, he's he's pulling that
[135:07] that sympathy card, that sympathy
[135:09] thread.
[135:10] >> When you have this much experience
[135:13] as a leader and you get something that
[135:15] wrong,
[135:18] you should be troubled.
[135:20] >> Yeah, you should be troubled and you
[135:22] should just take the the retirement card
[135:25] and go home. That's what you should do
[135:28] and repent for everything. you know,
[135:31] spent a lot of time and our team has
[135:33] spent a lot of time giving feedback. How
[135:36] did we get it wrong? What was the value
[135:38] that was misplaced?
[135:40] You You know, you got it wrong. I I'll
[135:42] go back to a little levan leavenven's
[135:43] the whole lump. You got it wrong because
[135:46] there's levaven in the lump at Bethl.
[135:50] You don't value holiness. You don't
[135:52] value Christlikeness. You don't value
[135:54] godliness. who value this supernatural
[135:58] thing
[135:59] that is not real. Honestly,
[136:03] you got your kids chasing after
[136:05] prophecies and letting them get it
[136:07] wrong. They have to get it wrong three
[136:09] times before they can even go to the
[136:10] next year. You are like making people
[136:16] like pursue this thing that is just so
[136:19] unscriptural and so blasphemous that
[136:22] they would actually have to get three
[136:24] prophecies wrong before they can go on
[136:26] to the next school year
[136:29] is you're teaching them
[136:32] to do something blasphemous. You're
[136:34] teaching them to be Shawn Bulls.
[136:36] Basically, you're teaching them to get
[136:38] prophecy wrong.
[136:43] and just to get better at it. So, how do
[136:44] you go get better at it? Go fetch
[136:46] someone's data. Why not Peter pop off?
[136:49] Why not fletch lives? Why not put an
[136:52] earpiece in your thing? If you got to
[136:53] get it, you got to do better and get it
[136:55] right and have that well blah blah blah.
[136:57] Just it's so crazy, bro. They don't
[136:59] value sanctification. They don't value
[137:01] scripture. They don't value the
[137:03] preaching of the word of God faithfully
[137:04] from the pulpit. They don't value uh uh
[137:08] accountability. They don't value
[137:11] theology.
[137:15] They call us Pharisees
[137:18] for actually teaching the word of God.
[137:22] It's amazing. It's amazing.
[137:24] >> How do we change the culture? How do we
[137:26] make sure that we don't just fix this or
[137:30] say we're sorry, but how do we make sure
[137:33] that we build a culture that 20 years
[137:35] from now, this is not this is not okay.
[137:39] No one's going to ever say, "Well,
[137:40] that's not our responsibility
[137:42] ever again." And I promise you from this
[137:44] day forward, no one will ever say that
[137:46] in this house again.
[137:48] >> Okay,
[137:48] >> that guy we put on a platform. Not our
[137:50] responsibility.
[137:53] We'll learn to be
[137:54] >> So, how about Benny Hinn? You put him on
[137:56] your platform. How about Kenneth
[137:58] Copelan? You put him on your platform.
[138:01] Let's just have a look. You know what?
[138:03] We're just going to do this real quick.
[138:04] Go over here.
[138:07] Let's see. Bethl
[138:10] TV
[138:13] and let's just go to all the people they
[138:14] still have on their website. We'll just
[138:16] This is This will be real simple. Here
[138:18] we go. This is Bethl TV. Let's go to
[138:24] um
[138:26] full service. Ah, where is it?
[138:30] Home browse
[138:33] speakers. Right there. Let's just go.
[138:35] Let's just browse real quick.
[138:38] We got I know we got Benny Hannah and
[138:39] we've got Kenneth Copelan on there.
[138:41] They're false teachers. They're wolves.
[138:42] No question. Heidi Baker, she's a false
[138:45] teacher.
[138:48] Let's see.
[138:55] Candace Johnson,
[138:57] Haley Braun, she was on there before.
[138:59] Ben Armstrong. This guy's disqualified
[139:00] because he had a sexual affair. Dan
[139:02] McCullum, he's a guy who makes you have
[139:04] portals to heaven.
[139:06] um the whole nine yards. This guy's
[139:08] absolutely a false prophet. I have a
[139:11] video where actually I show him doing
[139:14] astral projection and encouraging astral
[139:17] projection at Bethl on the stage. This
[139:19] guy's a false teacher. He's an oultist
[139:21] and a false teacher.
[139:24] What about him? Okay, he's on your
[139:26] platform. Um
[139:29] Darren Wilson makes all these terrible,
[139:31] terrible uh movies where people just go
[139:34] across uh around the, you know, and
[139:36] touch people and try to heal them and
[139:37] blah blah blah. No gospel witness, no
[139:40] gospel testimony on the street and those
[139:43] people are healed and blah blah blah.
[139:45] That guy's a pretty bad guy. Tomrandle,
[139:48] he's also a false teacher. Absolutely.
[139:50] He uh tried to heal people. Is this guy
[139:52] really bad? Really, really bad. Healing
[139:55] is his mo. All right, here we go. Paul
[139:57] Manwarning actually over here in Europe
[139:59] right now. He believes in apostles and
[140:01] prophets and pushes the apostolic seven
[140:05] mountain mandate over here in Germany.
[140:07] Lou Engel, I talked about him. He's uh
[140:10] pushing this um uh this this uh revival,
[140:16] this communion revival evil, adding
[140:19] things to the communion event that do
[140:22] not belong there. He's a false prophet.
[140:26] I actually also called out a prophecy
[140:28] that he got wrong in England. I've got a
[140:30] a video on that. Y'all can check that
[140:32] out. Bobby Connor, Cindy Jacobs, she's
[140:35] lying about her doctorate. She has a
[140:37] doctor in front of her name. She is not
[140:39] a doctor, right? She is not a doctor and
[140:43] does not hold a doctorate. And that's um
[140:46] where is that? That's at uh
[140:50] um Wagner Leadership Institute. She's
[140:52] listed on Wagner Leadership Institute's
[140:54] website with a doctor in front of her
[140:56] name. That's unethical. She's on your
[140:59] platform. Just going to point out all
[141:00] the thing other people you platform.
[141:02] Just keep going through this here. Um
[141:06] John Bevere also
[141:08] just just a simple false teacher. Shay
[141:11] an wrote this book right here. He's on
[141:13] your platform. Shay right there. He
[141:16] wrote, "Modern day apostles, operating
[141:18] in your apostolic office and anointing,
[141:22] full of false teaching, full of apostles
[141:26] and prophets governing the church.
[141:30] There's no New Testament scripture.
[141:32] There's no New Testament regulations for
[141:36] apostles and prophets as governing the
[141:39] governing authority for the church,
[141:41] elders, deacons, and pastors."
[141:44] All right. Yeah. Then Bob Jones. Huh?
[141:46] Bob Jones over here. Bob Jones is the
[141:49] craziest lunatic coot prophet I've ever
[141:53] covered. This guy is a false prophet
[141:55] from the start. From the jump. I've
[141:58] never ever ever heard him say anything
[142:00] of cohesive uh ideas that are actually
[142:04] true. It's all false from the start.
[142:07] Y'all platform Bob Jones and you should
[142:10] repent for that. All right. David Hogan
[142:13] says he's claimed he's had he's raised
[142:15] 500 from the dead, something like that.
[142:17] I don't know anymore. Stacy Campbell,
[142:19] she was also in this expose.
[142:22] Um, and she knew about the predations of
[142:26] the whole nine yards. She knew about all
[142:28] of it. Um, let's see. Brian Simmons.
[142:31] He's the false translator who's who has
[142:34] claimed to have gone to heaven and
[142:37] seen the 22nd book of John, the 22nd
[142:42] chapter of John and uh went to the
[142:44] library of heaven and God breathed on
[142:47] him. Jesus breathed on him and said,
[142:49] "You may um I release you to translate
[142:52] the Bible." The Passion translation is a
[142:54] false translation. Mike Winger also did
[142:56] a very thorough expose of that book.
[142:59] That is a false translation. And this
[143:01] guy's a false teacher. Um, here we go.
[143:04] Georgian Bananov. This guy's really bad.
[143:07] He just rolls around the floor and
[143:09] laughs all the time. Mario Marillo.
[143:11] Apostle Mario Marillo. He's really bad.
[143:15] Brother Yun, I don't believe a a single
[143:18] thing of his story. His story is a
[143:20] complete fabrication. Chinese people in
[143:23] in and the Chinese brothers and sisters
[143:25] in China have put out more than one
[143:27] occasion that this guy has falsified his
[143:30] entire story, right? Um, Richard Gordon,
[143:35] I mean, do I do I need to say more?
[143:37] Richard Gordon, this guy's a lunatic who
[143:40] just laughs around and take it, take it,
[143:43] take it. These guys are all false. All
[143:47] right. Ruth Moore, Steve Moore, Martin
[143:50] Smith from Delirious, and Bill Johnson,
[143:52] the Grand Puba, who teaches that Jesus
[143:55] laid aside his divinity so that he could
[143:57] do the miracles that we could do them,
[143:58] too. They're all false teachers. So, so
[144:01] he his what does he say? We
[144:04] >> No one's going to ever say, "Well,
[144:05] that's not our responsibility."
[144:06] >> Here we go. They're platform
[144:07] >> ever again. And I promise you from this
[144:09] day forward, no one will ever say that
[144:11] in this house again.
[144:13] >> That guy we put on a platform, not our
[144:15] responsibility. So all the guys you put
[144:17] on the platform not your responsibility.
[144:19] Kenneth Copelan,
[144:22] Benny Hinn and many more. Those are just
[144:25] I I know actually now they have they
[144:26] have actually thinned out the list of
[144:28] people who have preached on their
[144:30] platform,
[144:32] right? But these are the ones they kept.
[144:34] They have thinned out lately. I I've
[144:36] seen that before. So maybe they're
[144:38] thinning out Kenneth Copeland. They got
[144:40] push back for Kenneth Copeland. How dare
[144:42] Kenneth Copelan come and speak on our
[144:45] stage? But I just pointed out a few
[144:47] things from all these teachers here that
[144:48] they still have on their stage. They
[144:50] still have on their speaker lineup. Bob
[144:52] Jones, the worst, maybe the worst of all
[144:54] of them. I don't know.
[144:56] It's crazy.
[145:00] Are you going to repent for all those
[145:01] two?
[145:04] >> They need to close They need to close
[145:05] the doors, folks. They need to close the
[145:07] doors.
[145:08] I think that's probably half of the
[145:10] speakers right there on their speaker
[145:12] list that I have I have direct knowledge
[145:14] of a false teaching, a false prophecy or
[145:16] some kind of abuses.
[145:19] Half of their teachers on their on their
[145:21] list there. Um should not be on that
[145:23] should not be preaching. All right.
[145:26] Learn to be more vigilant.
[145:29] We have a lot to learn. This for me this
[145:32] is the first week of a journey
[145:36] that I've never been here before
[145:40] and how [snorts] we navigate
[145:43] a global movement in a 21st century.
[145:47] It's got to be possible and it's
[145:50] definitely got to be way better than
[145:52] we've done. And prayerfully a lot of
[145:55] other leaders will learn from our
[145:57] mistakes.
[145:59] And prayerfully we don't just get well.
[146:02] Prayerfully,
[146:04] the body of Christ
[146:06] [crying]
[146:07] becomes
[146:09] a safe, godly place for our children,
[146:14] for people to get well, for leaders to
[146:17] get well, for victims to get healed
[146:21] without
[146:25] without creating a huge mess.
[146:30] Please forgive me.
[146:33] I understand [clears throat] that your
[146:34] trust for me is broken.
[146:37] I know some of you that will take time
[146:38] to heal of
[146:39] >> what other people will think about this.
[146:41] >> He should have sat down
[146:42] >> my word. Will move to maturity in this.
[146:47] >> Oh, they're going to move to maturity in
[146:48] this.
[146:49] >> Bill's going to speak now. God bless
[146:51] you. Thank you so much for listening.
[146:55] >> [applause]
[146:58] >> So like I said about two three three
[147:02] >> three fours of the people in the chat
[147:03] really are appreciative you know and
[147:05] about one quarter we're like
[147:06] >> here's uh
[147:07] >> total PR damage control
[147:09] >> very nobly takes all the responsibility
[147:12] when it really comes back to me you know
[147:17] [snorts]
[147:20] both Chris and Danny were much more
[147:22] willing to pursue to uh bringing
[147:26] correction uh not just the initial
[147:29] correction but actually walking through
[147:31] long term um this whole journey and
[147:35] [clears throat] I I was the part of the
[147:37] process that slowed it down. Um you know
[147:40] I
[147:41] >> he was the part
[147:42] >> sometimes your strongest trait becomes
[147:44] your weakest trait and one of the things
[147:46] I do well is I believe in people when
[147:48] they don't deserve it.
[147:51] >> I'm so great. I am so so great. I
[147:54] believe in people when they don't
[147:56] deserve it.
[147:58] He He's almost like God, folks. He is
[148:01] almost like God.
[148:04] He believes He believes in you when you
[148:06] don't deserve it. Wow.
[148:08] >> But it can move into what some have
[148:11] called unsanctified mercy. And that's
[148:14] actually what I what I did. I became so
[148:17] not impressed with the gift. I don't I
[148:20] don't I I don't do gifts over character,
[148:23] but I became so
[148:25] >> You don't do gifts over committed to
[148:27] >> Except you did
[148:28] >> to seeing Sean protected and come into a
[148:32] place of health and that I I I just was
[148:37] foolish. And how it started is I I
[148:40] believed um
[148:43] I I didn't believe the allegations were
[148:45] true initially. I I think probably all
[148:47] of us wondered, man, this can't be true.
[148:48] We love this guy. We've spent time with
[148:50] him. He spent time here. But but over a
[148:54] period of time, it became obvious it was
[148:56] true. But I keep became blind to it
[148:57] because my my loyalty to him as a as a
[149:01] friend, as somebody who had ministered
[149:03] deeply to me, as Chris mentioned, to him
[149:04] and so many people authentically that we
[149:07] became blind to the fact I became blind
[149:10] to the fact that there was a real issue
[149:12] that needed to be addressed. I'm
[149:14] completely blind to it.
[149:16] >> I mean, I see it now. It's embarrassing
[149:18] to to to see what was right in front of
[149:22] you all all the time. And I I were
[149:26] surrounded by such a an incredible group
[149:29] of leaders and team uh phenomenal
[149:33] discernment. I on a number
[149:37] they're surrounded by a phenomenal team
[149:39] of with phenomenal discernment. are
[149:46] sorry that's pretty funny
[149:47] >> occasions I've come to Chris I'll I'll
[149:50] ask him a question you know how do you
[149:51] see the situation I trust your
[149:53] perspective more than mine and there are
[149:55] just times where you just trust in other
[149:56] people's gift more than your own but
[149:58] this was an occasion when I didn't do
[150:00] that and should have because I I easily
[150:02] could have seen through their eyes
[150:04] through their heart through their
[150:05] discernment something that was really
[150:08] really obvious as obvious as the nose on
[150:11] your face
[150:13] >> and I I didn't see it. I missed it. I
[150:14] missed it because,
[150:17] you know, just not wanting to believe
[150:20] something that that that could be true.
[150:22] And
[150:25] >> sort of like you didn't want to believe
[150:26] that Mike Biggel was a serial essay
[150:29] predator
[150:30] or that um you didn't want to believe
[150:32] that uh cuz you reinstated
[150:36] you uh you restored
[150:40] Todd Bentley to ministry. Kind of like
[150:42] you didn't want to believe Todd Bentley
[150:44] was a also a serial predator. you don't
[150:47] want to um believe that uh your buddy
[150:50] over there at Gateway, Robert Morris
[150:54] or uh Chris Reed, who has also I believe
[150:57] been on your stage before or you've been
[150:58] to him in at Morning Star.
[151:02] Hm. Just wonder.
[151:05] >> And it was and as a result of my slowing
[151:10] of process down uh just affected more
[151:13] and more people, more and more uh
[151:17] injuries took place and through the
[151:19] prophetic and then through his own teams
[151:21] where where people were uh traumatized
[151:24] over some of the uh sexual uh issues. um
[151:29] just horrible, sad, sad, sad stuff. And
[151:32] I spent time with one individual that I
[151:35] know and and uh we actually had a real I
[151:38] I felt a really honoring time going both
[151:42] ways. I I he was,
[151:45] >> you know, I just wonder actually, you
[151:47] know, just occurred to me Mike Bickl
[151:49] shared their stage, too. Are they going
[151:52] to do the same thing for Mike Bickl?
[151:56] Um,
[151:58] I mean, I'm sure there's other people on
[151:59] their stage who have who have been found
[152:02] guilty of essay.
[152:05] Uh, they platform Mike Bickl.
[152:08] Now, maybe they didn't platform to to
[152:10] the point where he actually gained a
[152:12] following, but but Sean BS for sure
[152:15] gained a following through through
[152:16] through their platforming him. But they
[152:20] platform Mike Bickl.
[152:22] What about that?
[152:25] They have not made a single statement
[152:27] about Mike Bickl.
[152:29] Just wondering
[152:30] >> calling out for help. He was expressing
[152:32] the pain of his own journey and the
[152:35] trauma that he had faced being on on
[152:37] that staff and uh and we had a a really
[152:43] good time of connection. I I was so
[152:45] thankful for it.
[152:47] What followed, however, is I did I was
[152:50] invited to do an interview on TBN, which
[152:52] I agreed to do and found out it was uh
[152:58] to promote Shawn in his book.
[153:00] >> This is excuses right here. This is
[153:01] excuses. Now, he does admit he was it
[153:04] was silly and kind of not not smart, but
[153:06] uh this is excuses. That that TBN
[153:07] interview where he just gushed over over
[153:10] Shawn BS, he actually knew all this
[153:12] stuff. It had all come to his attention.
[153:15] It had all been clearly explained to him
[153:17] and he still gushed and still promoted
[153:20] Shawn BS sitting right next to him just
[153:22] >> and I went through with it. And so if
[153:25] you can imagine making a heartfelt
[153:27] connection with somebody and uh lending
[153:30] support for their healing and then a
[153:33] week, a month, three months, whatever it
[153:34] was, I I don't recall now, let's just
[153:36] say two months later endorsing the very
[153:39] guy that he just brought a report to me
[153:42] on. And uh it was just a slap in the
[153:44] face to this young man.
[153:46] >> So the person who he had abused
[153:50] it was apparent apparently in con I
[153:52] wonder if it was this guy right here. I
[153:54] wonder if it was this guy. I don't even
[153:56] know. But I wonder if it was him and um
[154:01] he uh cuz he was close to Bill. He was
[154:04] Bill's personal assistant
[154:07] and so close enough to him that he would
[154:09] actually know and be able to Yeah. be
[154:12] able to talk to him about it.
[154:14] >> And it was it was just such a horrible
[154:16] misjudgment on my part. Just absolutely
[154:18] foolish. I followed up. We spent more
[154:21] time together a couple hours and to be
[154:24] frank, he he helped me in a kind way to
[154:27] say how foolish my my decision was and
[154:32] the effect that it had on him. And I
[154:33] know if it affected him that way, then
[154:36] there's countless of others that are
[154:38] also affected. And I am so so so so
[154:41] sorry.
[154:54] >> I tend to trust his tears and and
[154:57] emotionalism less because he can he can
[155:00] pull it up with a drop of a hat. I've
[155:02] watched thousands of hours of his
[155:04] sermons
[155:06] sermons and uh his speeches and in his
[155:10] speeches he pulls up that emotional like
[155:13] almost every single time. I I think it's
[155:18] almost every single sermon he can he can
[155:20] just pull it up at the drop of a hat. So
[155:23] >> some things are inexcusable.
[155:27] [snorts] I'm just glad they're not
[155:28] unforgivable.
[155:33] I
[155:34] >> you know I mean the the qualifications
[155:36] for a pastor means above approach. You
[155:39] have to be above reproach. Well thought
[155:41] of by outsiders. All this other stuff.
[155:44] And sorry these three guys now that
[155:46] they've covered this thing up for seven
[155:47] to eight years. They're not above
[155:49] approach anymore.
[155:52] What do y'all think?
[155:55] several weak parts of my own the way I
[155:58] function.
[156:00] Um
[156:04] I [clears throat] I I do rally to people
[156:06] who are in trouble. I rally to people
[156:08] that that you know I I give favor to
[156:10] people oftentimes far beyond what they
[156:14] deserve. And I don't apologize for that
[156:17] because I think it's a it's a proper way
[156:19] to do life. And and so I'm committed to
[156:22] that. But what I did wrong was I did it
[156:25] at the expense of the victims. In other
[156:28] words, I I showed mercy in in one
[156:31] category that seriously affected those
[156:36] who shouldn't have been traumatized any
[156:39] more than they were. And uh it was just
[156:42] uh it was just it was just careless. It
[156:44] was careless.
[156:45] >> I'm going to speed him up a little bit
[156:46] because we got
[156:47] >> Obviously, it's not intentional. You
[156:48] don't think through that stuff, but the
[156:49] fact that I could be that careless and
[156:51] and work to defend somebody who not
[156:53] defend anything that he did that was
[156:55] wrong, just work to see them restored,
[156:56] but in the effort to do that, to do it
[156:59] at the expense of those who had really
[157:01] really suffered. And it's there there's
[157:03] the trauma from the sexual issues and
[157:05] there's the trauma from missed prophetic
[157:07] words and stuff that has been u
[157:10] >> missed prophetic words. Again, they're
[157:12] not going to be able to they're not
[157:13] going to be able to do it. They're not
[157:14] going to be able to say Shawn BS is a
[157:16] false prophet
[157:19] and you should mark and avoid him. We
[157:21] don't trust him anymore. That's what
[157:22] they're going to that's what they're
[157:23] going to say. That's that's their
[157:24] statement. Their statement is we don't
[157:25] trust him anymore.
[157:27] He is a false prophet. So is Chris
[157:29] Valatin. So is every single person who
[157:31] prophesies from your stage because you
[157:33] actually make them get three prophecies
[157:36] wrong before they can even move on to
[157:38] the next year.
[157:42] That makes them false prophets.
[157:44] promote
[157:44] >> claiming to say something that God has
[157:47] not said is blasphemy
[157:50] and you have made yourself a pro false
[157:52] prophet and you have made your students
[157:54] false prophets
[157:56] >> throughout our movement and
[157:58] >> what did he say
[157:59] >> stuff that has been uh promoted
[158:01] throughout our movement
[158:03] >> all these prophets have been promoted
[158:04] through
[158:04] >> I'm so sorry I actually I contributed to
[158:08] the trauma I contributed I I I wasn't
[158:10] just there to help bring healing as I
[158:13] thought I was, but I actually
[158:15] contributed to the trauma.
[158:26] That's a horrible realization, you know,
[158:28] to
[158:29] to realize that that you're making
[158:32] something worse.
[158:34] And my sometimes it's your action,
[158:36] sometimes it's the lack of action.
[158:39] And I I have this horrible um
[158:42] [clears throat]
[158:43] trait of just not confronting well and
[158:46] and sometimes I'm just afraid of getting
[158:47] it wrong. So I just avoid it all
[158:48] together. And uh we've got a such an an
[158:52] amazing team that I have purposed to uh
[158:56] to be much more eager to receive input
[158:58] on these issues instead of just delay
[159:01] delay delay, which is what I'm I'm known
[159:02] for. And I I just apologize to you for
[159:05] the effect on your lives, your heart,
[159:08] your trust. and just the life of this
[159:10] family, this movement uh because of
[159:12] delay and because of avoiding avoiding
[159:14] confrontation, avoiding conflict
[159:16] and um
[159:20] I
[159:21] I I want to continue to grow in showing
[159:25] appropriate mercy in in situations, but
[159:27] it really comes down to when there's
[159:29] we're pursuing justice, it's got to be
[159:30] the victim first. The priority has to be
[159:33] to serve those who have been
[159:35] traumatized. And and you know what?
[159:37] Sometimes it's just really really
[159:39] painful to be involved with people in
[159:41] trauma. I mean it's it's hard because
[159:43] often times they don't need advice. They
[159:44] need somebody to listen. They need
[159:46] somebody just to be there.
[159:48] If you are going to talk to Bill Johnson
[159:52] about your trauma, your essay trauma,
[159:54] you are going to the wrong source.
[159:59] Please, I beg you, if if any if any of
[160:02] the of the victims of Shawn BS are
[160:04] trying to seek counsel from Bethl, do
[160:07] not
[160:11] I I don't know what else to say tell
[160:13] you. Please, please, please and they
[160:17] give a portal. They give a a website
[160:19] where you can go
[160:21] trauma victims can go get counseling. Do
[160:25] not go to them through their counseling
[160:30] they've set up. Please, please, please,
[160:32] I beg you.
[160:38] And um so I I am repurposing my own
[160:42] heart, my own gift, my own life to give
[160:46] much cleaner attention to the victim as
[160:48] a priority and then the whole church and
[160:50] then of course the victimizer. We want
[160:52] to see healing and restoration
[160:54] everywhere. But uh the mandate really is
[160:55] to care for the victim. And so please
[160:58] forgive me for anything and everything I
[161:02] have said or done that would put less
[161:04] value on attending to the hurt and
[161:07] broken people. It's just wrong. It's
[161:09] just wrong. My uh my delay uh has caused
[161:13] so much frustration in family and staff
[161:17] and uh please forgive me. I I I promise
[161:19] to try to learn this one better. I I uh
[161:22] I I I just I don't do that well. But I'm
[161:25] I'm I'm praying with your forgiveness
[161:27] and grace to to be able to attend to
[161:29] these things in a much wiser way. The
[161:32] Lord has gifted us with a brilliant team
[161:35] and u back when all of this started, it
[161:37] was just a a few of us trying to make
[161:38] decisions and
[161:41] all of us were under an incredible
[161:42] pressure because of all the stuff going
[161:44] on in our personal lives. We were in
[161:46] under pressure, you know, COVID, this
[161:49] that and the other thing. Bro, we all
[161:51] went through the same thing. We all went
[161:53] through the same thing.
[161:55] I've had family die as well in that same
[161:57] time.
[162:00] Just excuses to me is what it sounds
[162:02] like.
[162:02] >> Now, we have such a a brighter, broader
[162:05] team to really help to speak into these
[162:07] situations. So, I pray that with the
[162:09] wisdom of the whole group, you know,
[162:11] that scripture says u we have the mind
[162:13] of Christ. It doesn't say I have the
[162:16] emphasis is is on the corporate that
[162:17] together we have the mind of Christ. And
[162:19] so that is uh that is our pursuit. That
[162:22] is my commitment is that together for us
[162:24] to hear from the Lord what to do
[162:25] appropriately in given situations
[162:27] >> to hear from the Lord. Just look to
[162:30] scripture. You don't need to hear from
[162:31] the Lord. You don't need to hear a word.
[162:34] Look to scripture. It gives you
[162:36] everything you need. Especially in these
[162:39] situations.
[162:41] Especially in these situations.
[162:44] It gives you everything you need. Don't
[162:47] need to hear a word from the Lord.
[162:50] Yeah.
[162:51] >> And I do ask you the victims of the
[162:54] prophetic any other sexual tension stuff
[162:56] that could exist in your life. Please
[162:57] forgive us as a leadership to to drop
[163:00] the ball as we have and to increase the
[163:02] pressure and the conflict in your own
[163:04] souls. And uh I just ask you to forgive
[163:06] me. I do pray that the Lord would would
[163:08] truly truly bring healing to us as a
[163:10] movement, healing to us as a team,
[163:12] healing to me as an individual.
[163:15] >> Healing to you?
[163:18] Were you abused?
[163:23] Um why would why do you need healing?
[163:27] Why does Chris Valatin need healing?
[163:31] You guys need to repent. That's all
[163:37] the victims
[163:40] of the predators that you have put on
[163:43] stage, including Mike Bickle. I'll put
[163:45] Mike Pickle up there. He was on He was
[163:47] on your stages more than one occasion.
[163:52] Y'all don't need healing. You need
[163:54] repentance.
[163:55] The victims of your predations and the
[163:58] other pred predators you put on stage
[164:01] need healing.
[164:07] >> [snorts]
[164:09] >> Yeah. Oh, please forgive me.
[164:14] Please forgive me.
[164:19] [applause]
[164:22] So, we're going to pray together in just
[164:23] a few moments, but I want to let you
[164:24] know of a couple of things that we've
[164:26] done and already been in the process of
[164:27] doing. It probably goes without saying,
[164:29] but just to be very clear at this time,
[164:31] I want to clearly state that the
[164:33] evidence we have seen concerning Shawn
[164:34] Bull's prophetic integrity has produced
[164:35] a broken trust with his ministry. And we
[164:38] believe that Shawn was not truthful in
[164:39] how he received his words or not words
[164:41] of knowledge or prophetic words. We also
[164:43] acknowledge our belief that he engaged
[164:44] in sexually explicit and harassing
[164:45] behavior towards some members of his
[164:47] staff. We do not condone his actions,
[164:49] endorse his ministry, and we strongly
[164:51] advise you to take our position into
[164:52] account if you choose to interact with
[164:54] his materials.
[164:57] And moving forward as a team and as a
[165:00] board we recommit ourselves to
[165:02] responsibility which was mentioned by
[165:04] both of you guys reimagining
[165:06] re-imbracing that commit our
[165:08] >> reimagining and re-imbracing I don't
[165:10] know there's all this this language is
[165:14] yeah
[165:15] >> to truth and accountability and there
[165:17] has been a lot of that going on in these
[165:19] last week this last week but ultimately
[165:22] transformation in Christ which is our
[165:24] goal for this
[165:27] Uh thanks here uh Jemicorn 40. When we
[165:32] deviate from correct interpretation of
[165:34] scripture, it gives the uh the opening
[165:38] for these heartbreaking situations to
[165:41] occur. Agreed. Agreed. And that's the
[165:44] problem. the the NR Bethl and the like,
[165:48] they are rife for abuses and um and
[165:54] predations. And like I said here, we
[165:56] just go back real quick uh before we
[165:58] finishing up here. um in Jude
[166:04] for certain people have crept in
[166:05] unnoticed who long ago were uh
[166:08] designated for this condemnation ungodly
[166:11] people who pervert the grace of our Lord
[166:13] into sensuality and sensuality is a
[166:17] description of false teachers here it is
[166:20] as well second Peter 2:18 for speaking
[166:23] loud boast of folly they enticed sensual
[166:26] passions
[166:27] by sensual passions of the flesh those
[166:30] who are barely escaping from those who
[166:32] live in error. And then Colossians 2:18,
[166:36] let no one disqualify you, insisting on
[166:38] aeticism and worship of angels, going on
[166:41] in detail about visions like they do
[166:44] adnauseium in this movement. Every
[166:47] single person who's been on Sid Roth
[166:48] show has had some kind of vision, dream,
[166:50] or revelation. They've gone to heaven.
[166:52] They've done something else that that
[166:53] that puts them on that show. puffed up
[166:57] without reason by his sensuous mind. So
[167:00] detail about visions, worship of angels,
[167:02] they are puffed up. People who do this
[167:05] and insist on these things are trying to
[167:07] disqualify you and their minds are
[167:10] sensuous.
[167:13] That's a description of false teachers
[167:14] throughout the New Testament. sensuality
[167:19] and uh and no wonder uh Shawn BS goes
[167:23] into cuz he goes on and bloiates about
[167:27] all the things he's seen and and even
[167:29] Chris Valatin just now he had an
[167:31] encounter with God on Monday right after
[167:34] he preached that evil sermon
[167:37] >> for our own lives
[167:37] >> sermon that evil uh speech
[167:40] >> and for you as Bill mentioned our senior
[167:43] leadership team is uh is grown to over
[167:45] 25 people gifted and talented. Um our
[167:47] board eldership is going to be more
[167:49] active in a role and leading and
[167:50] speaking and I think it's sometime
[167:51] you've talked about that role of
[167:53] discipline will be sitting with a
[167:54] different place than you and is the
[167:56] expectation.
[167:59] Um
[168:02] also we'll be implementing additional
[168:04] training and equipping and the prophetic
[168:06] so we know how to discern words and and
[168:08] to again be able to identify false
[168:10] words.
[168:12] >> [laughter]
[168:13] >> they'll be able to identify false words
[168:15] better. What about the three false words
[168:18] that you have to provide before you can
[168:20] move on to the second or third year?
[168:24] Hm. They're going to have some training
[168:26] and equipping in that so you can
[168:28] identify those three false words from
[168:30] each student that you require them to
[168:33] have. If say you have 3,000 students,
[168:36] you have a thousand first year, thousand
[168:37] second year, thousand third year. You
[168:39] have a thousand students giving three
[168:41] prophecies wrong before they can move
[168:43] on.
[168:46] You have something in place for that.
[168:48] >> Should someone happen to
[168:49] >> that? That's your requirement. Bill
[168:50] Johnson said that. He said that at James
[168:54] River Church that that's a requirement.
[168:58] You gonna change that requirement
[169:00] >> need um sorry should something happen
[169:02] that needs to be addressed. We're
[169:03] implementing a a confrontation model, an
[169:05] investigation confrontation model that
[169:07] would include a wider communication when
[169:09] substantiated allegations are brought
[169:10] forth and met with unrepentance.
[169:14] We
[169:14] >> It's called Matthew 18, folks. You don't
[169:17] need you don't need any of this
[169:19] nonsense. Why blah blah blah. If you
[169:22] confront people and there are two or
[169:23] three witnesses and you go to them with
[169:25] two or three witnesses, you bring it
[169:26] before the church and if they do not
[169:28] repent after bringing it before the
[169:29] church, you treat them like an outsider
[169:31] and a gentile.
[169:34] It's called excommunication. Jesus gave
[169:37] us
[169:38] a path for this.
[169:42] >> We also have created and will continue
[169:43] to make paths to provide help and
[169:45] support for those who experience
[169:46] something that takes place in our
[169:48] environment that's not healthy,
[169:49] appropriate, or biblical. And you likely
[169:51] know that I think Chris mentioned it,
[169:53] but we put a letter out to our alumni.
[169:54] The feedback was not enough and way too
[169:56] late, frankly. But you can see that on
[169:58] our website as well if you if you would
[170:00] like to. But around that time, we did
[170:02] begin to work on a safe church process
[170:04] and we had a look at some of our
[170:05] processes and just some of the things
[170:06] like we we kept people's issues so close
[170:09] like we're not a gossiping environment.
[170:11] So we'd actually hire somebody that
[170:13] people would come to us and go
[170:14] >> they're not a gossiping environment. Is
[170:15] that is that true? I'm just curious. Uh
[170:18] those of you who've been at Bethl, I've
[170:20] heard the opposite. But anyways, um
[170:23] Susie Q, thanks uh for the super chat.
[170:26] 25 people over a global flock. I'm not
[170:29] that smart, but that doesn't math out.
[170:32] Okay. All right. Good. Here we go. Keep
[170:35] going.
[170:35] >> Why did you hire them?
[170:36] >> They're setting up this, you know, safe
[170:38] church thing or whatever.
[170:39] >> Because we're because we are so good at
[170:41] keeping things close. We that's hurting
[170:43] us. We need to open that up. We have
[170:45] opened that up. And one of the ways
[170:47] we've opened that up,
[170:51] one of the ways we've opened that up is
[170:52] by having a the safe church process for
[170:54] our alumni community. uh they were
[170:56] invited we invited anyone experiencing
[170:57] abuse of any kind in our environment to
[170:59] report via phone or form to a secure
[171:02] third third party team outside the Bethl
[171:04] environment and this was done to ensure
[171:06] that Bethl itself would be held
[171:07] accountable for the information that was
[171:08] reported in other words we couldn't lose
[171:10] the report or change the report
[171:13] >> if you have something to report do not
[171:17] go to Bethl and report it
[171:21] I'm telling you folks do not I I know
[171:24] people again who have reported these
[171:26] things to Bethl and they were told do
[171:30] not go to the police.
[171:33] They were told by Bethl staff to not go
[171:35] to the police with their
[171:38] abuses.
[171:42] Folks, I'm telling you, do not
[171:47] if this thing was covered up for seven
[171:48] to eight years, they do not know how to
[171:51] handle your abuse. go directly to the
[171:54] police. Do not pass go. Do not collect
[171:56] $200.
[171:58] Find a victim's advocate uh organization
[172:00] in your area if you can
[172:03] and take this to the police. The statute
[172:06] of limitations. If someone has sexually
[172:07] abused you, the statute of limitations
[172:09] for that does not expire typically in a
[172:12] state at least for 25 years.
[172:16] That's typical. Some have a longer, some
[172:18] have unlimited statute of limitations.
[172:20] If you have been RAPED or SAD or
[172:23] anything like that at BETHL or anywhere
[172:25] else in this N movement, go to the
[172:29] police. Please, I beg you, go to the go
[172:32] to the authorities, go to victims
[172:34] advocate groups.
[172:37] Do not go to the church where you were
[172:40] essayed, especially in this N. If you if
[172:43] you were essayed at Bethl, do not go to
[172:46] their church safe thing or whatever
[172:48] they're setting up. They're setting up a
[172:50] website for you.
[172:51] >> Uh then uh the investigation and we will
[172:53] begin the investigation process as we're
[172:55] able and both of you have both said we
[172:56] need to get out there. They're going to
[172:57] investigate if it's beyond our our
[172:59] capability.
[173:00] >> Yeah. And we started this a year ago.
[173:01] It's been in operation with our alumni
[173:03] and we've it has soft launched already.
[173:04] So you'll be able to find this at safe
[173:06] church bethl uh sorry somewhere
[173:09] bethlurch.comsafechurch.
[173:12] >> Don't do it. Don't go to them. Don't
[173:14] don't uh go to that website. I just
[173:19] >> and it's
[173:19] >> you can't trust it. You can't trust it.
[173:21] >> It's online. We're monitoring it when uh
[173:23] while we're doing better in the future.
[173:25] I absolutely understand that some of you
[173:27] are right now you're working through
[173:28] pain and confusion. Can I trust this
[173:30] house? Can I trust these people? Working
[173:32] through the consequences of our
[173:33] behavior. We contributed to that. Um if
[173:36] you were directly impacted by a
[173:38] prophetic word from Shawn or within our
[173:40] environment or as a result of sexual
[173:42] misconduct, we invite you to reach out
[173:43] to us so we can offer support, pastoral
[173:44] care or counseling resources. And if
[173:47] this is this is if this defines you, you
[173:50] can email us at safechurchbethl.com.
[173:55] >> Save church.
[173:57] >> We
[173:58] >> are going to move to a time of prayer.
[174:00] And um again, as I mentioned, we don't
[174:02] think you guys have anything to repent
[174:03] for. We want to publicly ask the Lord.
[174:05] The in our Bibles, there's a book of
[174:07] lamentations. There's there's prayers of
[174:09] of sadness over sin, very important to
[174:12] the Old Testament scriptures. And so
[174:13] this would be one of those moments when
[174:14] we are standing before the Lord
[174:18] undone by the gravity of our mistake,
[174:21] the immaturity of our thinking, and
[174:24] asking for the Lord's grace in these
[174:26] moments and for your grace. And so I'm
[174:28] just going to start.
[174:33] >> All right. So they're going to move into
[174:34] a time of repentance, but I'm gonna I'm
[174:35] just going to try to end it there. I
[174:36] think uh then they have uh they pray
[174:43] [snorts and clears throat]
[174:44] these men should not be praying for
[174:46] this. They should be the one on their
[174:48] knees and repentance and someone else
[174:51] should be praying for their contrition
[174:54] that they have godly sorrow. [snorts] So
[174:58] I'm going to switch out here. I think I
[174:59] think that's all we need to look at.
[175:01] they they actually then go to and I
[175:02] think um at if you look at it when you
[175:05] go look uh I believe it's Ruth Moore and
[175:10] anyways that the moderators that are in
[175:11] charge of the online space or whatever
[175:15] um
[175:16] they were I think they were shocked. I
[175:17] think they were they were surprised. I
[175:19] don't think they knew much about it. it
[175:21] seems like. Anyways, they close up the
[175:23] the evening and uh so I want to come out
[175:25] here and speak to us and I want to ask
[175:27] them they're they're they're repenting
[175:29] but um what I'm going to ask them is are
[175:32] they going to repent for this
[175:35] modern day apostles
[175:37] operating in your apostolic office and
[175:40] anointing? This teaches that the new
[175:43] apostolic reformation is God's
[175:46] uh God's plan for church government.
[175:50] They going to repent for this. Bill
[175:52] Johnson forward by Bill Johnson and uh
[175:57] let's see Shawn BS gave a recommendation
[176:00] quote. Chris Valatin gave a
[176:03] recommendation quote and they are named
[176:05] at length in this book as being apostles
[176:08] of the movement and prophets. Are they
[176:11] going to repent for this?
[176:13] They going to repent for culture of
[176:14] honor.
[176:16] Danny Silk, a Bethl book on the back,
[176:20] Destiny image. Um,
[176:24] this is Bethl's
[176:26] um, modus operendi. This is how coverup
[176:29] culture has happened. Are they going to
[176:30] repent for this culture of honor by
[176:33] Danny Silk? Are they going to repent for
[176:35] supernatural power of a transformed mind
[176:37] by Bill Johnson?
[176:40] Access to a life of miracles with his
[176:42] heresy that he preaches in here and
[176:44] teaches in here. Are they going to
[176:46] repent for this? Are they going to
[176:48] repent for the reformers pledge? This is
[176:52] a book by new apostolic reformation
[176:54] leaders in which they talk about the new
[176:56] apostolic reformation and their re
[176:59] reformers pledge. The pledge they are
[177:01] making as reformers of the NR.
[177:05] Bill Johnson, Lance Wallnau, Chuck
[177:07] Pierce, Heidi Baker, C. Peter Wagner,
[177:09] Jim Garlo, Lou Angel, Cindy Jacobs, John
[177:11] Arnot, and James G. Are they going to
[177:13] repent for that? Is Bill Johnson gonna
[177:14] repent for being part of the new
[177:16] apostolic reformation? Is he gonna
[177:18] repent for no stankenmach? This is a
[177:21] German book uh of this one. Is he going
[177:25] to repent for spreading his levan into
[177:27] all of Europe?
[177:30] I'm just asking is he going to repent
[177:31] for that? Is he going to repent for
[177:40] this is
[177:42] um when heaven invades earth
[177:45] his book translated into Germany
[177:47] spreading his levan in German too of a
[177:50] Christ who laid aside his divinity and
[177:52] did not do his miracles as divine. This
[177:55] is full of levan. Is he going to repent
[177:57] for that? Bill Johnson and Chris Valton,
[178:00] the supernatural ways of royalty. Is he
[178:03] going to repent for this? Is he going to
[178:05] repent for these books? Full of heresy,
[178:09] full of false teaching and the
[178:12] supernatural power of a transformed
[178:13] mind, a 40-day devotional. I've got
[178:14] this. And then
[178:17] I'm going to ask the question that Mike
[178:19] Winger asked them. Will they repent for
[178:22] the book, The Physics of Heaven?
[178:25] He called them in his video, his long
[178:27] form video, and described in detail, and
[178:30] I also covered this book. This book is
[178:32] the worst book I've ever ever read that
[178:35] tries to pass itself off as a Christian
[178:37] book. It is full of heresy, is full of
[178:40] lies. It is full of false and quack
[178:43] science,
[178:44] and is full of false visions and dreams
[178:47] and revelations of people who claim
[178:49] they've gone to heaven, for instance,
[178:51] and gotten the plans to a water- powered
[178:53] car. Are they going to repent for these?
[178:55] Bob Jones has a chapter in Hill. Bill
[178:58] Johnson has a chapter in here. Benny
[179:00] Johnson has a chapter in here. I'll just
[179:02] give you the chapter titles real quick.
[179:06] The Power of the Zero Point Field by
[179:08] Judy Franklin. Dolphin Therapy.
[179:10] Extracting the Precious Ellen Davis.
[179:14] Vibrating in harmony with God by Bob
[179:17] Jones. Healing energy. Recovering
[179:20] Spiritual Inheritance by Bill Johnson in
[179:23] which he says you should go claim
[179:24] mantles and anointings. Where would you
[179:27] claim those mantels and anointings? From
[179:29] the graves of people who have left them
[179:31] right where they left them. Authentic
[179:33] versus counterfeit. Jonathan Welton.
[179:35] God's new sound is coming. God
[179:37] vibrations. Ellen Davis. Human sound of
[179:40] heaven. Ray Hughes. The God vibration by
[179:43] Dan McCullum who was a speaker at Bethl
[179:46] who has started the school of the
[179:47] prophets. Angelic Encounters, Cal
[179:50] Pierce, who also laid on the grave of
[179:53] John G. Lake for nine months, every day
[179:55] for nine months, he said to try to get
[179:57] his anointing. Spiritual senesthesia,
[179:59] Larry Randolph.
[180:02] Strange things are afoot, Ellen Davis.
[180:04] Sulfeio frequencies.
[180:07] Quantum mysticism by Ellen Davis. The
[180:10] power of color. Your quantum leap by
[180:13] David von covering.
[180:15] Popping quiffs. Mind over matter. Whole
[180:19] lot of shaking going on. Your body is an
[180:21] electromagnetic field. Sensing magnetic
[180:23] fields. The Clarion call by Benny
[180:25] Johnson. human body frequencies pulling
[180:28] into today. Bill Johnson wraps the whole
[180:31] book up and a four by Chris Falton. Are
[180:32] they going to repent for this book? This
[180:36] book is full of false teaching, evil,
[180:40] occultism, and actually says the new age
[180:42] is Christian and we just should pull the
[180:44] new age back into Christianity. Are they
[180:47] gonna repent for all this? This is just
[180:49] a this is just a little smattering. Just
[180:51] a little taste of the false teaching and
[180:54] the false prophecy and the false and the
[180:56] and the heresy that has come out of
[180:59] Bethl. Are they going to repent for
[181:00] these?
[181:02] Because every single one of these books
[181:04] contains something that is dangerous for
[181:07] you as a Christian to believe and to
[181:09] hold and to to teach and to and to
[181:11] trust. All these books are heretical and
[181:16] false teaching and levan. So just ask um
[181:21] this is what led to Shawn BS.
[181:25] These type of teachings, these type of
[181:27] books that say that you can prophesy and
[181:29] have these kind of cold readings
[181:33] are the problem. Their teaching is the
[181:36] problem. It leads to abuses. So I'm just
[181:40] going to ask them and leave that there.
[181:42] I'm kind of torn. They have admitted it
[181:45] at least.
[181:46] That's the least they could do. That's
[181:48] the really the very least they could do.
[181:50] The best they could do have shut down
[181:52] the doors, close the building and repent
[181:54] all the way and say we are leaving the
[181:56] ministry. We are going to go they could
[181:58] have done what you know go back to my
[182:01] statement I made over here. Um we at
[182:04] Bethl realize that we have gas lit you
[182:06] manipulated you and covered up gross
[182:07] error and sin false prophecies for many
[182:09] many many years. That's why we've
[182:11] decided as a staff to fire every single
[182:13] person that is currently on staff here
[182:15] for the theological aberrations and
[182:16] often heretical statements made by
[182:19] people from the stage and our gross
[182:20] mishandling of victims and their abuses.
[182:23] We will no longer be offering services.
[182:25] We repent from all of it and will submit
[182:28] ourselves to faithful Bible teaching and
[182:29] preaching churches. We will be closing
[182:31] our doors permanently, selling
[182:33] everything we have to recompense
[182:35] everyone we have stolen from and/or
[182:38] abused and do our best to seek justice
[182:41] for our victims. We are closing up shop
[182:44] this Sunday and the last maintenance
[182:46] staff will permanently lock the doors
[182:48] behind them. Goodbye and we're very,
[182:50] very sorry, Bethl Church. That would be
[182:51] that would be the best they could do.
[182:54] The least they could do was what they
[182:55] did today. And so yeah, um, good. We're
[182:58] going to end it there.
[183:00] Um, yes, admitting it was the absolutely
[183:03] least they could do. They need to close
[183:06] the doors permanently and never grace
[183:08] the pulpit again. They are disqualified
[183:10] permanently. All of them. All three of
[183:12] those, well, at least Bill Johnson, I
[183:14] Danny Fairley I don't know much as much
[183:16] about, but um Bill Johnson and Chris
[183:18] Valatin um are not above reproach any
[183:21] longer and they have covered up for this
[183:24] thing. And and that makes them
[183:25] disqualified from Christian ministry.
[183:28] And so they should hang it up and repent
[183:30] all the way. And that means stepping out
[183:32] of ministry and repenting from all their
[183:34] material that they have published over
[183:36] the years and preached and taught. The
[183:39] whole thing the whole thing is full of
[183:41] leaven. There's nothing in the There's
[183:43] no baby in the bathwater, folks. There's
[183:46] I mean I'm hold this stack up of books.
[183:48] That's just half of my books. This is
[183:50] just I could I can't get the whole I'm
[183:52] not like Michael Brown. I can't stick
[183:53] the stacks and I I don't not as strong
[183:55] as he is, I guess. So, that's all full
[183:59] of leaven. All of it. All of it. All
[184:03] right. So, that's going to do it, folks.
[184:06] I've been going a very long time. Let's
[184:08] see. Um, yeah, I think that'll do it for
[184:12] this episode. We've been going a long
[184:14] time. Thanks for sticking around. Thanks
[184:16] for tuning in. I just wanted to get that
[184:17] out there and make sure that it was
[184:19] covered before they took it down or
[184:21] something like that. And I understand
[184:23] that the last sermon, they've already
[184:25] edited that last sermon, took out all
[184:26] the bad snippets, but if you want to see
[184:28] the full thing, I covered the entire
[184:30] sermon of Chris Valatin uh last Sunday,
[184:33] which was the worst speech that he p
[184:35] that someone has tried to pass off as a
[184:37] sermon I've ever heard. It was really,
[184:38] really bad. And um he did not really
[184:41] disavow that sermon. Um in this in this
[184:44] thing, he kind of said he had justified
[184:47] himself why he was trying to say what he
[184:49] said. So, um, it's a half apology. Let
[184:54] me just say it's a half apology. They
[184:56] had to do it because they got pre I
[184:59] mean, they were getting pressure from
[185:00] everywhere. I mean, it took Mike
[185:02] Winger's video of being get getting
[185:05] about a million views, I guess, by about
[185:07] now. And, um, it took them that much to
[185:12] to really have to do this. Think they
[185:15] had no choice. I think they were pressed
[185:16] into it. And uh so good for that at
[185:19] least very good for that but it's the
[185:22] very minimum the very minimum. And so
[185:26] yeah all right so folks uh thanks for
[185:28] tuning in to this episode of Firm
[185:30] Foundation my live stream on Sunday
[185:31] night. That's patreon.comfirmfoundation
[186:27] show. Hey guys, y'all have been really
[186:29] awesome in helping us be able to afford
[186:31] a vehicle. We had a surprise happen to
[186:35] our car. All of a sudden, I was driving
[186:37] and the engine just died. the timing
[186:39] belt slipped off and the car is toast.
[186:43] Our family vehicle that we've had, our
[186:45] van that we've had for almost uh 8 years
[186:48] now. Um it's 2017 has died and the
[186:52] timing belt slipped off and the motor is
[186:54] said goodbye. And so we've asked our
[186:57] friends, our supporters, our family. We
[187:00] are missionaries in Germany. And we only
[187:02] exist in this mission field by the
[187:05] faithful supporters uh in the United
[187:07] States and elsewhere in Europe as well
[187:09] now. And uh we are asking you to think
[187:11] and pray about helping us. We have a
[187:14] give SendGo campaign trying to help us
[187:17] afford another vehicle. And uh we really
[187:20] exist only on the support of you our
[187:23] faithful listeners. watchers and as well
[187:27] on our faithful givers in the United
[187:29] States and elsewhere. So, if you pray
[187:32] and think about supporting us for a
[187:34] little bit of money, we're at we're
[187:36] trying to raise 10,000 to get a down
[187:38] payment for a vehicle and uh we're at
[187:41] 7,000 right now. So, please please think
[187:43] about that. God bless you for y'all
[187:45] support. I mean, it's just amazing.
[187:46] We're so overwhelmed that we're almost
[187:48] there and uh we'd love to be able to uh
[187:51] get a vehicle very soon. we have we're
[187:53] kind of stuck. So, thank y'all for
[187:56] thinking and praying about that. That's
[187:58] give, send, go. And I think um Tina, if
[188:01] you can put that in the chat, uh that'll
[188:02] be great. And as well, I'll put it in
[188:04] the show notes. So, thank y'all so much
[188:07] for tuning in. God bless you. Until next
[188:10] time, take care.
[188:18] [music]
[188:19] >> That un Jesus has leaned for repose.
[188:24] I will not [music] I will not deserve to
[188:30] its foes.
