In this video, I'm going to show you the technical walkthrough of how WordPress, Woo Commerce, and Jetack integrate together to create the pizza ordering system that runs our business. This is a highly customizable system that uses WordPress hooks and filters and it's so good we're now offering it as a blueprint for others to replicate. Let me show you exactly how it works. Now, let me start with why Jetack is essential for this setup. And it's really easy to get connected. Just **[00:45]** download the Woo Commerce mobile app, link it through Jetack, and you're set up in minutes. From there, you can manage your orders anywhere in the kitchen or waiting for orders while you're sat on the sofa. When you connect Woo Commerce with Jetpack, every time you get an order, you get this amazing notification sound. Now, with an ordering system during a busy shift, that sound is actually priceless. Without it, we might miss orders during the middle of a busy service. The mobile app means you're not tied to your desktop screen. You've got your phone by your side, and that **[01:15]** notification hits instantly. It's a great prompt when your orders come through, especially when you're moving around in the kitchen preparing pizza and can't constantly check your screen. That audible notification has saved us from missing orders countless times. But Jetack isn't just about the notifications. It's part of the bigger ecosystem that make the whole system work seamlessly. Now, let me show you the backend kitchen ordering system that I've built. Every time an order comes through, depending on how many slots we've added to the **[01:45]** system, these orders get added and show up on this screen. And this is a visual prompt for any chef or back-end kitchen staff that allows them to view and reorder the orders on the fly. These orders actually correlate to the time slots that can be managed in the back end. They can be removed or added to during the service as well as in advance of the service. This gives us incredible flexibility to manage capacity and ensures that we're not overbooking. Now, this system is built for WordPress and Woo Commerce and it heavily relies on **[02:15]** hooks and filters to create specific functionality. Now, when I built this originally, it was built for classic themes, but I'm in the process of actually converting that to be compatible with block themes. So, it will give you complete control over the functionality in classic and in block theme. Now, one of the most powerful features is the geographical delivery map and location system for our delivery staff. Here's the problem we're solving. When a customer enters a postcode, that's a basic general area footprint. It doesn't **[02:46]** actually pinpoint the house or the delivery location. If it's a big factory, school or a hospital, they may want that delivery to a specific point, maybe to the back of the building or a particular entrance. Now, another good reason for having this system is that during evening service or during the later months later in the year, it's difficult for delivery people to find the actual location if there are no street lights or it's dark in the winter. But if we have the actual geol location where the customer drops their pin right on their front door, it makes it incredibly easy for the delivery **[03:17]** staff to deliver the pizza on time. Every time an order comes through, the customer has to add their shipping address. But there's also a map where they can pinpoint their exact location. This precision delivery system has been a gamecher for our delivery times and customer satisfaction. Now, I also built in a delivery radius restriction based on our local delivery starting point. Anybody outside of that zone is unable to get delivery because it's just too far for us to travel. Instead, what they can choose is to pick **[03:49]** up and then come and collect their pizza for themselves. Now, because of the reputation that we've built over the years, there are many collections during service. But this system adds flexibility. It allows people to check whether we can deliver or if they're outside of the zone, they can come and pick up. Now, we've also partnered with a local cocktail bar. If people outside of the delivery area are coming into the village, we can actually deliver to the cocktail bar and they can sit there, have a drink, eat their pizza on the premises. It's a win-win arrangement. **[04:21]** Now, for any ordering system, there are third party platforms that you can sign up to, but we didn't really want to do that. We're offering a service for our local community and if we can employ somebody and pay them to do a job, why not do that? Why give a percentage to a third-party platform when you can keep that money in the local economy? Now, this system is highly customizable using the hooks and filters from WordPress and Woo Commerce. It allows us to keep ownership. We don't have to subscribe to anything. This is effectively free to set up, zero platform fees, and we have **[04:52]** the flexibility to build sophisticated custom functionality. And that's the power of WordPress and Woo Commerce. Complete control, complete ownership, and the ability to customize it to your exact needs. So, let me break down the technical stack. WordPress is the foundation, open- source, flexible, and powerful. Woo Commerce for the e-commerce functionality and order management. Jetack for the notification, security, and performance enhancements. And of **[05:23]** course the custom hooks and filters to add the time slot booking system, geo map location, delivery radius restriction and backend kitchen ordering display. This system gives us time slot management for ordering capacity, geoloccation, delivery mapping, delivery radius restrictions, real-time kitchen ordering display, instant order notification, and complete customization control. All of this runs on WordPress, which means we own it, we control it, and we can continue to improve it. **[05:57]** Now, this system is so good that we want to share it with others. We've created a new model, kind of a licensing model, but it's not just the license for the software. It's the whole blueprint. how to do the marketing, how to help develop your process for making pizza, a pizza course, all of the marketing material that you need, and a website so you can replicate your own side hustle by working just 2 days a week making pizza from your own home kitchen. Now, if you are interested, there is a link below where you can drop your email and book a call with Rachel and she'll tell you more about the system for free. This is **[06:28]** about sharing what works, empowers others, and proving that WordPress and Woo Commerce can build a real sustainable business. Now, as always, thank you so much for watching. I really do appreciate it. If you found this video insightful in any way, please do give it a like cuz it helps others find this content. And if you haven't subscribed yet, what are you waiting for?
