- So, the WP software is still FOSS, and that part remains true. It can be forked; does it need to be? No. Would I like it to be? Sure. The most crucial step seems to be setting up a new plugin repo, which is easier said than done. ([View Tweet](https://twitter.com/alexjvasquez/status/1849135169317298527))
- In conjunction with or as a precursor to getting a new plugin/theme repo up is creating a new and truly independent foundation to manage/govern it and possibly contributions to the WP FOSS. Seems like @courtneyr_dev and @sereedmedia's work lends itself to this eventuality. ([View Tweet](https://twitter.com/alexjvasquez/status/1849135170403586160))
- @sereedmedia @jessuppi Aka Matt. The two wcus I was involved in we had to wait for his final blessing on speakers, one of which he axed all but one pantheon speaker. Goes back to 2018 and further likely. ([View Tweet](https://twitter.com/alexjvasquez/status/1935350161620037897))
- @JamesWelbes @photomat An irrepressible troll trolls an impossibly petty man-child. I wonder what's going to happen. Certainly the best beef since Matt and the WordPress helpers guy. ([View Tweet](https://twitter.com/alexjvasquez/status/1985082360057237580))
- Matt SPENT 100K to keep a domain name away from a guy and who knows how much more to settle *certain* court cases. He messed with millions of businesses on a whim because of his ego. I don't think people get to complain when they repeatedly poke the world's pettiest bear. ([View Tweet](https://twitter.com/alexjvasquez/status/1991305531198492876))

- I don't think @photomatt has earnestly asked "Am I the problem?" That's a very human thing to do and I don't think someone who prosecutes grudges the way Matt does is capable of that sort of reflection. I don't get it. https://t.co/xYHeTZ71q5 ([View Tweet](https://x.com/alexjvasquez/status/2044539964386660765))
