Thanks for coming to my rant. 9/9 ([View Tweet](https://twitter.com/briancoords/status/1852008394053636472)) - WordPress needs to start presenting a positive vision of the future and to justify itself going forward, especially as the search-and-link based internet itself is evolving faster than ever. A community that is proactive instead of constantly reactive. /8 ([View Tweet](https://twitter.com/briancoords/status/1852008108668915901)) - Some interesting answers in the replies. I agree PE=bad for companies. Like many, I’m still struggling to see how WP Engine’s trajectory points to an existential crisis for the WordPress project, one worthy of the current situation. 1/🧵 https://t.co/HI1KHtxSiD ([View Tweet](https://twitter.com/briancoords/status/1852006963884044710)) - When preparing content for LLMs, the benefits of an open platform (like WordPress) instead of a closed platform come sharply into focus. Example - a very simple agent via N8n who can answer questions about my past blog posts and fetch relevant text (all using the WP Rest API). https://t.co/n6JMErkb0U ([View Tweet](https://twitter.com/briancoords/status/1878918069302735319)) - @robinpietersen @WooCommerce I’d recommend this plugin for keeping your local dev site clean of sensitive data. Redesigns are pretty regular business, since your theme and your store’s data shouldn’t be coupled in a meaningful way. https://t.co/gmtL4pVqsT ([View Tweet](https://twitter.com/briancoords/status/1971940833500057990)) - My WCUS Wapuu survived the Portland war zone but not a puppy and a toddler. Lost his WP logo, his backpack, and most of his hearing, but still he lives to blog another day. https://t.co/ZYyRPq0DOS ([View Tweet](https://twitter.com/briancoords/status/1976072577102852179)) ## New Highlights added 2026-09-04 at 1:42 PM - This is for @mikemcalister @jamesckemp @fabiankaegy and anyone else asking why we don't have components in WordPress block themes. It's the top thing agencies asked me about at WCUS (whether they used the word or not). (This is a pretty long/dry video, so apologies there). https://t.co/JQXHOENAAx ([View Tweet](https://x.com/briancoords/status/2095620368673468642))
