The family learns that truth and reunites, but can't recover the childhood stolen from them. Tyroth kills Elluin after paternity testing and forces the diadem onto newborn Kyzari. Arkyn is the Elding; his promised Flourish conceals prisons and an invasion economy. Kaan kills Arkyn, but Sereme begins a bound rebirth. She holds the Book of Voyd and meets revived Haedeon.
